Psalms 37

English: Fret not yourself because of evildoers, neither be you envious against the workers of iniquity.

Malayalam: ദുഷ്‌പ്രവൃത്തിക്കാരുടെ നിമിത്തം നീ മുഷിയരുതു; നീതികേടു ചെയ്യുന്നവരോടു അസൂയപ്പെടുകയുമരുതു.

English: For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb.

Malayalam: അവർ പുല്ലുപോലെ വേഗത്തിൽ ഉണങ്ങി പച്ചച്ചെടിപോലെ വാടിപ്പോകുന്നു.

English: Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shall you dwell in the land, and verily you shall be fed.

Malayalam: യഹോവയിൽ ആശ്രയിച്ചു നന്മചെയ്ക; ദേശത്തു പാർത്തു വിശ്വസ്തത ആചരിക്ക. യഹോവയിൽ തന്നേ രസിച്ചുകൊൾക;

English: Delight yourself also in the LORD: and he shall give you the desires of yours heart.

Malayalam: അവൻ നിന്റെ ഹൃദയത്തിലെ ആഗ്രഹങ്ങളെ നിനക്കു തരും.

English: Commit your way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.

Malayalam: നിന്റെ വഴി യഹോവയെ ഭരമേല്പിക്ക; അവനിൽ തന്നേ ആശ്രയിക്ക; അവൻ അതു നിർവ്വഹിക്കും.

English: And he shall bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your judgment as the noonday.

Malayalam: അവൻ നിന്റെ നീതിയെ പ്രഭാതംപോലെയും നിന്റെ ന്യായത്തെ മദ്ധ്യാഹ്നംപോലെയും പ്രകാശിപ്പിക്കും.

English: Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not yourself because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who brings wicked devices to pass.

Malayalam: യഹോവയുടെ മുമ്പാകെ മിണ്ടാതെയിരുന്നു അവന്നായി പ്രത്യാശിക്ക; കാര്യസാധ്യം പ്രാപിക്കുന്നവനെയും ദുരുപായം പ്രയോഗിക്കുന്നവനെയും കുറിച്ചു നീ മുഷിയരുതു.

English: Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not yourself in any way to do evil.

Malayalam: കോപം കളഞ്ഞു ക്രോധം ഉപേക്ഷിക്ക; മുഷിഞ്ഞു പോകരുതു; അതു ദോഷത്തിന്നു ഹേതുവാകേയുള്ളു.

English: For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth.

Malayalam: ദുഷ്‌പ്രവൃത്തിക്കാർ ഛേദിക്കപ്പെടും; യഹോവയെ പ്രത്യാശിക്കുന്നവരോ ഭൂമിയെ കൈവശമാക്കും.

English: For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: yea, you shall diligently consider his place, and it shall not be.

Malayalam: കുറഞ്ഞോന്നു കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടു ദുഷ്ടൻ ഇല്ല; നീ അവന്റെ ഇടം സൂക്ഷിച്ചുനോക്കും; അവനെ കാണുകയില്ല.

English: But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.

Malayalam: എന്നാൽ സൌമ്യതയുള്ളവർ ഭൂമിയെ കൈവശമാക്കും; സമാധാനസമൃദ്ധിയിൽ അവർ ആനന്ദിക്കും.

English: The wicked plots against the just, and gnashes upon him with his teeth.

Malayalam: ദുഷ്ടൻ നീതിമാന്നു ദോഷം നിരൂപിക്കുന്നു; അവന്റെ നേരെ അവൻ പല്ലു കടിക്കുന്നു.

English: The LORD shall laugh at him: for he sees that his day is coming.

Malayalam: കർത്താവു അവനെ നോക്കി ചിരിക്കും; അവന്റെ ദിവസം വരുന്നു എന്നു അവൻ കാണുന്നു.

English: The wicked have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow, to cast down the poor and needy, and to slay such as be of upright conversation.

Malayalam: എളിയവനെയും ദരിദ്രനെയും വീഴിപ്പാനും സന്മാർഗ്ഗികളെ കൊല്ലുവാനും ദുഷ്ടന്മാർ വാളൂരി വില്ലു കുലെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

English: Their sword shall enter into their own heart, and their bows shall be broken.

Malayalam: അവരുടെ വാൾ അവരുടെ ഹൃദയത്തിൽ തന്നേ കടക്കും; അവരുടെ വില്ലുകൾ ഒടിഞ്ഞുപോകും.

English: A little that a righteous man has is better than the riches of many wicked.

Malayalam: അനേകദുഷ്ടന്മാർക്കുള്ള സമൃദ്ധിയെക്കാൾ നീതിമാന്നുള്ള അല്പം ഏറ്റവും നല്ലതു.

English: For the arms of the wicked shall be broken: but the LORD upholds the righteous.

Malayalam: ദുഷ്ടന്മാരുടെ ഭുജങ്ങൾ ഒടിഞ്ഞുപോകും; എന്നാൽ നീതിമാന്മാരെ യഹോവ താങ്ങും.

English: The LORD knows the days of the upright: and their inheritance shall be for ever.

Malayalam: യഹോവ നിഷ്കളങ്കന്മാരുടെ നാളുകളെ അറിയുന്നു; അവരുടെ അവകാശം ശാശ്വതമായിരിക്കും.

English: They shall not be ashamed in the evil time: and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied.

Malayalam: ദുഷ്കാലത്തു അവർ ലജ്ജിച്ചു പോകയില്ല; ക്ഷാമകാലത്തു അവർ തൃപ്തരായിരിക്കും,

English: But the wicked shall perish, and the enemies of the LORD shall be as the fat of lambs: they shall consume; into smoke shall they consume away.

Malayalam: എന്നാൽ ദുഷ്ടന്മാർ നശിച്ചുപോകും; യഹോവയുടെ ശത്രുക്കൾ പുല്പുറത്തിന്റെ ഭംഗിപോലേയുള്ളു; അവർ ക്ഷയിച്ചുപോകും; പുകപോലെ ക്ഷയിച്ചുപോകും.

English: The wicked borrows, and pays not again: but the righteous shows mercy, and gives.

Malayalam: ദുഷ്ടൻ വായ്പ വാങ്ങുന്നു തിരികെ കൊടുക്കുന്നില്ല; നീതിമാനോ കൃപാലുവായി ദാനം ചെയ്യുന്നു.

English: For such as be blessed of him shall inherit the earth; and they that be cursed of him shall be cut off.

Malayalam: അവനാൽ അനുഗ്രഹിക്കപ്പെട്ടവർ ഭൂമിയെ കൈവശമാക്കും. അവനാൽ ശപിക്കപ്പെട്ടവരോ ഛേദിക്കപ്പെടും.

English: The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delights in his way.

Malayalam: ഒരു മനുഷ്യന്റെ വഴിയിൽ പ്രസാദം തോന്നിയാൽ യഹോവ അവന്റെ ഗമനം സ്ഥിരമാക്കുന്നു.

English: Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholds him with his hand.

Malayalam: അവൻ വീണാലും നിലംപരിചാകയില്ല; യഹോവ അവനെ കൈ പിടിച്ചു താങ്ങുന്നു.

English: I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.

Malayalam: ഞാൻ ബാലനായിരുന്നു, വൃദ്ധനായിത്തീർന്നു; നീതിമാൻ തുണയില്ലാതിരിക്കുന്നതും അവന്റെ സന്തതി ആഹാരം ഇരക്കുന്നതും ഞാൻ കണ്ടിട്ടില്ല.

English: He is ever merciful, and lends; and his seed is blessed.

Malayalam: അവൻ നിത്യം കൃപാലുവായി വായ്പ കൊടുക്കുന്നു; അവന്റെ സന്തതി അനുഗ്രഹിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു.

English: Depart from evil, and do good; and dwell for evermore.

Malayalam: ദോഷം വിട്ടൊഴിഞ്ഞു ഗുണം ചെയ്ക; എന്നാൽ നീ സദാകാലം സുഖമായി വസിക്കും.

English: For the LORD loves judgment, and forsakes not his saints; they are preserved for ever: but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off.

Malayalam: യഹോവ ന്യായപ്രിയനാകുന്നു; തന്റെ വിശുദ്ധന്മാരെ ഉപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നതുമില്ല; അവർ എന്നേക്കും പരിപാലിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു; ദുഷ്ടന്മാരുടെ സന്തതിയോ ഛേദിക്കപ്പെടും.

English: The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell therein for ever.

Malayalam: നീതിമാന്മാർ ഭൂമിയെ അവകാശമാക്കി എന്നേക്കും അതിൽ വസിക്കും;

English: The mouth of the righteous speaks wisdom, and his tongue talks of judgment.

Malayalam: നീതിമാന്റെ വായ് ജ്ഞാനം പ്രസ്താവിക്കുന്നു; അവന്റെ നാവു ന്യായം സംസാരിക്കുന്നു.

English: The law of his God is in his heart; none of his steps shall slide.

Malayalam: തന്റെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ന്യായപ്രമാണം അവന്റെ ഹൃദയത്തിൽ ഉണ്ടു; അവന്റെ കാലടികൾ വഴുതുകയില്ല.

English: The wicked watches the righteous, and seeks to slay him.

Malayalam: ദുഷ്ടൻ നീതിമാന്നായി പതിയിരുന്നു, അവനെ കൊല്ലുവാൻ നോക്കുന്നു.

English: The LORD will not leave him in his hand, nor condemn him when he is judged.

Malayalam: യഹോവ അവനെ അവന്റെ കയ്യിൽ വിട്ടുകൊടുക്കയില്ല; ന്യായവിസ്താരത്തിൽ അവനെ കുറ്റംവിധിക്കയുമില്ല.

English: Wait on the LORD, and keep his way, and he shall exalt you to inherit the land: when the wicked are cut off, you shall see it.

Malayalam: യഹോവെക്കായി പ്രത്യാശിച്ചു അവന്റെ വഴി പ്രമാണിച്ചു നടക്ക; എന്നാൽ ഭൂമിയെ അവകാശമാക്കുവാൻ അവൻ നിന്നെ ഉയർത്തും; ദുഷ്ടന്മാർ ഛേദിക്കപ്പെടുന്നതു നീ കാണും.

English: I have seen the wicked in great power, and spreading himself like a green bay tree.

Malayalam: ദുഷ്ടൻ പ്രബലനായിരിക്കുന്നതും; സ്വദേശികമായ പച്ചവൃക്ഷംപോലെ തഴെക്കുന്നതും ഞാൻ കണ്ടിട്ടുണ്ടു.

English: Yet he passed away, and, lo, he was not: yea, I sought him, but he could not be found.

Malayalam: ഞാൻ പിന്നെ അതിലെ പോയപ്പോൾ അവൻ ഇല്ല; ഞാൻ അന്വേഷിച്ചു, അവനെ കണ്ടതുമില്ല.

English: Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace.

Malayalam: നിഷ്കളങ്കനെ കുറിക്കൊള്ളുക; നേരുള്ളവനെ നോക്കിക്കൊൾക; സമാധാനപുരുഷന്നു സന്തതി ഉണ്ടാകും.

English: But the transgressors shall be destroyed together: the end of the wicked shall be cut off.

Malayalam: എന്നാൽ അതിക്രമക്കാർ ഒരുപോലെ മുടിഞ്ഞുപോകും; ദുഷ്ടന്മാരുടെ സന്താനം ഛേദിക്കപ്പെടും.

English: But the salvation of the righteous is of the LORD: he is their strength in the time of trouble.

Malayalam: നീതിമാന്മാരുടെ രക്ഷ യഹോവയിങ്കൽനിന്നു വരുന്നു; കഷ്ടകാലത്തു അവൻ അവരുടെ ദുർഗ്ഗം ആകുന്നു.

English: And the LORD shall help them, and deliver them: he shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in him.

Malayalam: യഹോവ അവരെ സഹായിച്ചു വിടുവിക്കുന്നു; അവർ അവനിൽ ആശ്രയിക്കകൊണ്ടു അവൻ അവരെ ദുഷ്ടന്മാരുടെ കയ്യിൽനിന്നു വിടുവിച്ചു രക്ഷിക്കുന്നു.
