Psalms 89

English: I will sing of the mercies of the LORD for ever: with my mouth will I make known your faithfulness to all generations.

Malayalam: യഹോവയുടെ കൃപകളെക്കുറിച്ചു ഞാൻ എന്നേക്കും പാടും; തലമുറതലമുറയോളം എന്റെ വായ് കൊണ്ടു നിന്റെ വിശ്വസ്തതയെ അറിയിക്കും.

English: For I have said, Mercy shall be built up for ever: your faithfulness shall you establish in the very heavens.

Malayalam: ദയ എന്നേക്കും ഉറച്ചുനില്ക്കും എന്നു ഞാൻ പറയുന്നു; നിന്റെ വിശ്വസ്തതയെ നീ സ്വർഗ്ഗത്തിൽ സ്ഥിരമാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

English: I have made a covenant with my chosen, I have sworn unto David my servant,

Malayalam: എന്റെ വൃതനോടു ഞാൻ ഒരു നിയമവും എന്റെ ദാസനായ ദാവീദിനോടു സത്യവും ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

English: Your seed will I establish for ever, and build up your throne to all generations. Selah.

Malayalam: നിന്റെ സന്തതിയെ ഞാൻ എന്നേക്കും സ്ഥിരപ്പെടുത്തും; നിന്റെ സിംഹാസനത്തെ തലമുറതലമുറയോളം ഉറപ്പിക്കും. സേലാ.

English: And the heavens shall praise your wonders, O LORD: your faithfulness also in the congregation of the saints.

Malayalam: യഹോവേ, സ്വർഗ്ഗം നിന്റെ അത്ഭുതങ്ങളെയും വിശുദ്ധന്മാരുടെ സഭയിൽ നിന്റെ വിശ്വസ്തതയെയും സ്തുതിക്കും.

English: For who in the heaven can be compared unto the LORD? who among the sons of the mighty can be likened unto the LORD?

Malayalam: സ്വർഗ്ഗത്തിൽ യഹോവയോടു സദൃശനായവൻ ആർ? ദേവപുത്രന്മാരിൽ യഹോവെക്കു തുല്യനായവൻ ആർ?

English: God is greatly to be feared in the assembly of the saints, and to be had in reverence of all them that are about him.

Malayalam: ദൈവം വിശുദ്ധന്മാരുടെ സംഘത്തിൽ ഏറ്റവും ഭയങ്കരനും അവന്റെ ചുറ്റുമുള്ള എല്ലാവർക്കും മീതെ ഭയപ്പെടുവാൻ യോഗ്യനും ആകുന്നു.

English: O LORD God of hosts, who is a strong LORD like unto you? or to your faithfulness round about you?

Malayalam: സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവേ, നിന്നെപ്പോലെ ബലവാൻ ആരുള്ളു? യഹോവേ, നിന്റെ വിശ്വസ്തത നിന്നെ ചുറ്റിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

English: You rule the raging of the sea: when the waves thereof arise, you still them.

Malayalam: നീ സമുദ്രത്തിന്റെ ഗർവ്വത്തെ അടക്കിവാഴുന്നു. അതിലെ തിരകൾ പൊങ്ങുമ്പോൾ നീ അവയെ അമർത്തുന്നു.

English: You have broken Rahab in pieces, as one that is slain; you have scattered yours enemies with your strong arm.

Malayalam: നീ രഹബിനെ ഒരു ഹതനെപ്പോലെ തകർത്തു; നിന്റെ ബലമുള്ള ഭുജംകൊണ്ടു നിന്റെ ശത്രുക്കളെ ചിതറിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു.

English: The heavens are yours, the earth also is yours: as for the world and the fullness thereof, you have founded them.

Malayalam: ആകാശം നിനക്കുള്ളതു, ഭൂമിയും നിനക്കുള്ളതു; ഭൂതലവും അതിന്റെ പൂർണ്ണതയും നീ സ്ഥാപിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

English: The north and the south you have created them: Tabor and Hermon shall rejoice in your name.

Malayalam: ദക്ഷിണോത്തരദിക്കുകളെ നീ സൃഷ്ടിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; താബോരും ഹെർമ്മോനും നിന്റെ നാമത്തിൽ ആനന്ദിക്കുന്നു;

English: You have a mighty arm: strong is your hand, and high is your right hand.

Malayalam: നിനക്കു വീര്യമുള്ളോരു ഭുജം ഉണ്ടു; നിന്റെ കൈ ബലമുള്ളതും നിന്റെ വലങ്കൈ ഉന്നതവും ആകുന്നു.

English: Justice and judgment are the habitation of your throne: mercy and truth shall go before your face.

Malayalam: നീതിയും ന്യായവും നിന്റെ സിംഹാസനത്തിന്റെ അടിസ്ഥാനമാകുന്നു; ദയയും വിശ്വസ്തതയും നിനക്കു മുമ്പായി നടക്കുന്നു.

English: Blessed is the people that know the joyful sound: they shall walk, O LORD, in the light of your countenance.

Malayalam: ജയഘോഷം അറിയുന്ന ജനത്തിന്നു ഭാഗ്യം; യഹോവേ, അവർ നിന്റെ മുഖപ്രകാശത്തിൽ നടക്കും.

English: In your name shall they rejoice all the day: and in your righteousness shall they be exalted.

Malayalam: അവർ ഇടവിടാതെ നിന്റെ നാമത്തിൽ ഘോഷിച്ചുല്ലസിക്കുന്നു. നിന്റെ നീതിയിൽ അവർ ഉയർന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.

English: For you are the glory of their strength: and in your favour our horn shall be exalted.

Malayalam: നീ അവരുടെ ബലത്തിന്റെ മഹത്വമാകുന്നു; നിന്റെ പ്രസാദത്താൽ ഞങ്ങളുടെ കൊമ്പു ഉയർന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.

English: For the LORD is our defence; and the Holy One of Israel is our king.

Malayalam: നമ്മുടെ പരിച യഹോവെക്കുള്ളതും നമ്മുടെ രാജാവു യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ പരിശുദ്ധന്നുള്ളവന്നും ആകുന്നു.

English: Then you spoke in vision to your holy one, and said, I have laid help upon one that is mighty; I have exalted one chosen out of the people.

Malayalam: അന്നു നീ ദർശനത്തിൽ നിന്റെ ഭക്തന്മാരോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു; ഞാൻ വീരനായ ഒരുത്തന്നു സഹായം നല്കുകയും ജനത്തിൽനിന്നു ഒരു വൃതനെ ഉയർത്തുകയും ചെയ്തു.

English: I have found David my servant; with my holy oil have I anointed him:

Malayalam: ഞാൻ എന്റെ ദാസനായ ദാവീദിനെ കണ്ടെത്തി; എന്റെ വിശുദ്ധതൈലംകൊണ്ടു അവനെ അഭിഷേകം ചെയ്തു.

English: With whom my hand shall be established: mine arm also shall strengthen him.

Malayalam: എന്റെ കൈ അവനോടുകൂടെ സ്ഥിരമായിരിക്കും; എന്റെ ഭുജം അവനെ ബലപ്പെടുത്തും.

English: The enemy shall not exact upon him; nor the son of wickedness afflict him.

Malayalam: ശത്രു അവനെ തോല്പിക്കയില്ല; വഷളൻ അവനെ പീഡിപ്പിക്കയും ഇല്ല.

English: And I will beat down his foes before his face, and plague them that hate him.

Malayalam: ഞാൻ അവന്റെ വൈരികളെ അവന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ തകർക്കും; അവനെ പകെക്കുന്നവരെ സംഹരിക്കും,

English: But my faithfulness and my mercy shall be with him: and in my name shall his horn be exalted.

Malayalam: എന്നാൽ എന്റെ വിശ്വസ്തതയും ദയയും അവനോടുകൂടെ ഇരിക്കും; എന്റെ നാമത്തിൽ അവന്റെ കൊമ്പു ഉയർന്നിരിക്കും.

English: I will set his hand also in the sea, and his right hand in the rivers.

Malayalam: അവന്റെ കയ്യെ ഞാൻ സമുദ്രത്തിന്മേലും അവന്റെ വലങ്കയ്യെ നദികളുടെമേലും നീട്ടുമാറാക്കും.

English: He shall cry unto me, You are my father, my God, and the rock of my salvation.

Malayalam: അവൻ എന്നോടു: നീ എന്റെ പിതാവു, എന്റെ ദൈവം, എന്റെ രക്ഷയുടെ പാറ എന്നിങ്ങനെ വിളിച്ചുപറയും.

English: Also I will make him my firstborn, higher than the kings of the earth.

Malayalam: ഞാൻ അവനെ ആദ്യജാതനും ഭൂരാജാക്കന്മാരിൽ ശ്രേഷ്ഠനുമാക്കും.

English: My mercy will I keep for him for evermore, and my covenant shall stand fast with him.

Malayalam: ഞാൻ അവന്നു എന്റെ ദയയെ എന്നേക്കും കാണിക്കും; എന്റെ നിയമം അവന്നു സ്ഥിരമായി നില്ക്കും.

English: His seed also will I make to endure for ever, and his throne as the days of heaven.

Malayalam: ഞാൻ അവന്റെ സന്തതിയെ ശാശ്വതമായും അവന്റെ സിംഹാസനത്തെ ആകാശമുള്ള കാലത്തോളവും നിലനിർത്തും.

English: If his children forsake my law, and walk not in my judgments;

Malayalam: അവന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ എന്റെ ന്യായപ്രമാണം ഉപേക്ഷിക്കയും എന്റെ വിധികളെ അനുസരിച്ചുനടക്കാതിരിക്കയും

English: If they break my statutes, and keep not my commandments;

Malayalam: എന്റെ ചട്ടങ്ങളെ ലംഘിക്കയും എന്റെ കല്പനകളെ പ്രമാണിക്കാതിരിക്കയും ചെയ്താൽ

English: Then will I visit their transgression with the rod, and their iniquity with stripes.

Malayalam: ഞാൻ അവരുടെ ലംഘനത്തെ വടികൊണ്ടും അവരുടെ അകൃത്യത്തെ ദണ്ഡനംകൊണ്ടും സന്ദർശിക്കും.

English: Nevertheless my loving kindness will I not utterly take from him, nor suffer my faithfulness to fail.

Malayalam: എങ്കിലും എന്റെ ദയയെ ഞാൻ അവങ്കൽ നിന്നു നീക്കിക്കളകയില്ല; എന്റെ വിശ്വസ്തതെക്കു ഭംഗം വരുത്തുകയുമില്ല.

English: My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips.

Malayalam: ഞാൻ എന്റെ നിയമത്തെ ലംഘിക്കയോ എന്റെ അധരങ്ങളിൽനിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടതിന്നു ഭേദം വരുത്തുകയോ ചെയ്കയില്ല.

English: Once have I sworn by my holiness that I will not lie unto David.

Malayalam: ഞാൻ ഒരിക്കൽ എന്റെ വിശുദ്ധിയെക്കൊണ്ടു സത്യം ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു; ദാവീദിനോടു ഞാൻ ഭോഷ്കുപറകയില്ല.

English: His seed shall endure for ever, and his throne as the sun before me.

Malayalam: അവന്റെ സന്തതി ശാശ്വതമായും അവന്റെ സിംഹാസനം എന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ സൂര്യനെപ്പോലെയും ഇരിക്കും.

English: It shall be established for ever as the moon, and as a faithful witness in heaven. Selah.

Malayalam: അതു ചന്ദ്രനെപ്പോലെയും ആകാശത്തിലെ വിശ്വസ്തസാക്ഷിയെപ്പോലെയും എന്നേക്കും സ്ഥിരമായിരിക്കും. സേലാ.

English: But you have cast off and abhorred, you have been angry with yours anointed.

Malayalam: എങ്കിലും നീ ഉപേക്ഷിച്ചു തള്ളിക്കളകയും നിന്റെ അഭിഷിക്തനോടു കോപിക്കയും ചെയ്തു.

English: You have made void the covenant of your servant: you have profaned his crown by casting it to the ground.

Malayalam: നിന്റെ ദാസനോടുള്ള നിയമത്തെ നീ വെറുത്തുകളഞ്ഞു; അവന്റെ കിരീടത്തെ നീ നിലത്തിട്ടു അശുദ്ധമാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

English: You have broken down all his hedges; you have brought his strong holds to ruin.

Malayalam: നീ അവന്റെ വേലി ഒക്കെയും പൊളിച്ചു; അവന്റെ കോട്ടകളെയും ഇടിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു.

English: All that pass by the way spoil him: he is a reproach to his neighbours.

Malayalam: വഴിപോകുന്ന എല്ലാവരും അവനെ കൊള്ളയിടുന്നു; തന്റെ അയൽക്കാർക്കു അവൻ നിന്ദ ആയിത്തീർന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.

English: You have set up the right hand of his adversaries; you have made all his enemies to rejoice.

Malayalam: നീ അവന്റെ വൈരികളുടെ വലങ്കയ്യെ ഉയർത്തി; അവന്റെ സകലശത്രുക്കളെയും സന്തോഷിപ്പിച്ചു.

English: You have also turned the edge of his sword, and have not made him to stand in the battle.

Malayalam: അവന്റെ വാളിൻ വായ്ത്തലയെ നീ മടക്കി; യുദ്ധത്തിൽ അവനെ നില്ക്കുമാറാക്കിയതുമില്ല.

English: You have made his glory to cease, and cast his throne down to the ground.

Malayalam: അവന്റെ തേജസ്സിനെ നീ ഇല്ലാതാക്കി; അവന്റെ സിംഹാസനത്തെ നിലത്തു തള്ളിയിട്ടു.

English: The days of his youth have you shortened: you have covered him with shame. Selah.

Malayalam: അവന്റെ യൌവനകാലത്തെ നീ ചുരുക്കി; നീ അവനെ ലജ്ജകൊണ്ടു മൂടിയിരിക്കുന്നു. സേലാ.

English: How long, LORD? will you hide yourself for ever? shall your wrath burn like fire?

Malayalam: യഹോവേ, നീ നിത്യം മറഞ്ഞുകളയുന്നതും നിന്റെ ക്രോധം തീപോലെ ജ്വലിക്കുന്നതും എത്രത്തോളം?

English: Remember how short my time is: wherefore have you made all men in vain?

Malayalam: എന്റെ ആയുസ്സു എത്രചുരുക്കം എന്നു ഓർക്കേണമേ; എന്തു മിത്ഥ്യാത്വത്തിന്നായി നീ മനുഷ്യപുത്രന്മാരെ ഒക്കെയും സൃഷ്ടിച്ചു?

English: What man is he that lives, and shall not see death? shall he deliver his soul from the hand of the grave? Selah.

Malayalam: ജീവിച്ചിരുന്നു മരണം കാണാതെയിരിക്കുന്ന മനുഷ്യൻ ആർ? തന്റെ പ്രാണനെ പാതാളത്തിന്റെ കയ്യിൽ നിന്നു വിടുവിക്കുന്നവനും ആരുള്ളു? സേലാ.

English: Lord, where are your former loving kindnesses, which you sware unto David in your truth?

Malayalam: കർത്താവേ, നിന്റെ വിശ്വസ്തതയിൽ നി ദാവീദിനോടു സത്യംചെയ്ത നിന്റെ പണ്ടത്തെ കൃപകൾ എവിടെ?

English: Remember, Lord, the reproach of your servants; how I do bear in my bosom the reproach of all the mighty people;

Malayalam: കർത്താവേ, അടിയങ്ങളുടെ നിന്ദ ഓർക്കേണമേ; എന്റെ മാർവ്വിടത്തിൽ ഞാൻ സകലമഹാജാതികളുടെയും നിന്ദ വഹിക്കുന്നതു തന്നേ.

English: Wherewith yours enemies have reproached, O LORD; wherewith they have reproached the footsteps of yours anointed.

Malayalam: യഹോവേ, നിന്റെ ശത്രുക്കൾ നിന്ദിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ. അവർ നിന്റെ അഭിഷിക്തന്റെ കാലടികളെ നിന്ദിക്കുന്നു.

English: Blessed be the LORD for evermore. Amen, and Amen.
