Psalms 120

English: In my distress I cried unto the LORD, and he heard me.

Malayalam: എന്റെ കഷ്ടതയിൽ ഞാൻ യഹോവയോടു നിലവിളിച്ചു; അവൻ എനിക്കു ഉത്തരം അരുളുകയും ചെയ്തു.

English: Deliver my soul, O LORD, from lying lips, and from a deceitful tongue.

Malayalam: യഹോവേ, വ്യാജമുള്ള അധരങ്ങളെയും വഞ്ചനയുള്ള നാവിനെയും തടുത്തു എന്റെ പ്രാണനെ രക്ഷിക്കേണമേ.

English: What shall be given unto you? or what shall be done unto you, you false tongue?

Malayalam: വഞ്ചനയുള്ള നാവേ, നിനക്കു എന്തു വരും? നിനക്കു ഇനി എന്തു കിട്ടും?

English: Sharp arrows of the mighty, with coals of juniper.

Malayalam: വീരന്റെ മൂർച്ചയുള്ള അസ്ത്രങ്ങളും പൂവത്തിൻ കനലും തന്നേ.

English: Woe is me, that I sojourn in Mesech, that I dwell in the tents of Kedar!

Malayalam: ഞാൻ മേശെക്കിൽ പ്രവാസം ചെയ്യുന്നതുകൊണ്ടും കേദാർകൂടാരങ്ങളിൽ പാർക്കുന്നതുകൊണ്ടും എനിക്കു അയ്യോ കഷ്ടം!

English: My soul has long dwelt with him that hates peace.

Malayalam: സമാധാനദ്വേഷിയോടുകൂടെ പാർക്കുന്നതു എനിക്കു മതിമതിയായി.

English: I am for peace: but when I speak, they are for war.

Malayalam: ഞാൻ സമാധാനപ്രിയനാകുന്നു; ഞാൻ സംസാരിക്കുമ്പോഴോ അവർ കലശൽ തുടങ്ങുന്നു.
