Psalms 107

English: O give thanks unto the LORD, for he is good: for his mercy endures for ever.

Malayalam: യഹോവെക്കു സ്തോത്രം ചെയ്‍വിൻ; അവൻ നല്ലവനല്ലോ അവന്റെ ദയ എന്നേക്കുമുള്ളതു!

English: Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom he has redeemed from the hand of the enemy;

Malayalam: യഹോവ വൈരിയുടെ കയ്യിൽനിന്നു വീണ്ടെടുക്കയും കിഴക്കും പടിഞ്ഞാറും വടക്കും കടലിലും ഉള്ള

English: And gathered them out of the lands, from the east, and from the west, from the north, and from the south.

Malayalam: ദേശങ്ങളിൽനിന്നു കൂട്ടിച്ചേർക്കയും ചെയ്തവരായ അവന്റെ വിമുക്തന്മാർ അങ്ങനെ പറയട്ടെ.

English: They wandered in the wilderness in a solitary way; they found no city to dwell in.

Malayalam: അവർ മരുഭൂമിയിൽ ജനസഞ്ചാരമില്ലാത്ത വഴിയിൽ ഉഴന്നുനടന്നു; പാർപ്പാൻ ഒരു പട്ടണവും അവർ കണ്ടെത്തിയില്ല.

English: Hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted in them.

Malayalam: അവർ വിശന്നും ദാഹിച്ചും ഇരുന്നു; അവരുടെ പ്രാണൻ അവരുടെ ഉള്ളിൽ തളർന്നു.

English: Then they cried unto the LORD in their trouble, and he delivered them out of their distresses.

Malayalam: അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ കഷ്ടതയിൽ യഹോവയോടു നിലവിളിച്ചു; അവൻ അവരെ അവരുടെ ഞെരുക്കങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നു വിടുവിച്ചു.

English: And he led them forth by the right way, that they might go to a city of habitation.

Malayalam: അവർ പാർപ്പാൻ തക്ക പട്ടണത്തിൽ ചെല്ലേണ്ടതിന്നു അവൻ അവരെ ചൊവ്വെയുള്ള വഴിയിൽ നടത്തി.

English: Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!

Malayalam: അവർ യഹോവയെ അവന്റെ നന്മയെ ചൊല്ലിയും മനുഷ്യപുത്രന്മാരിൽ ചെയ്ത അത്ഭുതങ്ങളെ ചൊല്ലിയും സ്തുതിക്കട്ടെ.

English: For he satisfies the longing soul, and fills the hungry soul with goodness.

Malayalam: അവൻ ആർത്തിയുള്ളവന്നു തൃപ്തിവരുത്തുകയും വിശപ്പുള്ളവനെ നന്മകൊണ്ടു നിറെക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.

English: Such as sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, being bound in affliction and iron;

Malayalam: ദൈവത്തിന്റെ വചനങ്ങളോടു മത്സരിക്കയും അത്യുന്നതന്റെ ആലോചനയെ നിരസിക്കയും ചെയ്തിട്ടു ഇരുളിലും അന്ധതമസ്സിലും ഇരുന്നു

English: Because they rebelled against the words of God, and contemned the counsel of the most High:

Malayalam: അരിഷ്ടതയാലും ഇരുമ്പുചങ്ങലയാലും ബന്ധിക്കപ്പെട്ടവർ -

English: Therefore he brought down their heart with labour; they fell down, and there was none to help.

Malayalam: അവരുടെ ഹൃദയത്തെ അവൻ കഷ്ടതകൊണ്ടു താഴ്ത്തി; അവർ ഇടറിവീണു; സഹായിപ്പാൻ ആരുമുണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല.

English: Then they cried unto the LORD in their trouble, and he saved them out of their distresses.

Malayalam: അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ കഷ്ടതയിൽ യഹോവയോടു നിലവിളിച്ചു; അവൻ അവരുടെ ഞെരുക്കങ്ങളിൽനിന്നു അവരെ രക്ഷിച്ചു.

English: He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and brake their bands in two.

Malayalam: അവൻ അവരെ ഇരുട്ടിൽനിന്നും അന്ധതമസ്സിൽനിന്നും പുറപ്പെടുവിച്ചു; അവരുടെ ബന്ധനങ്ങളെ അറുത്തുകളഞ്ഞു.

English: Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!

Malayalam: അവർ യഹോവയെ, അവന്റെ നന്മയെ ചൊല്ലിയും മനുഷ്യപുത്രന്മാരിൽ ചെയ്ത അത്ഭുതങ്ങളെ ചൊല്ലിയും സ്തുതിക്കട്ടെ.

English: For he has broken the gates of brass, and cut the bars of iron in two.

Malayalam: അവൻ താമ്രകതകുകളെ തകർത്തു, ഇരിമ്പോടാമ്പലുകളെ മുറിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു.

English: Fools because of their transgression, and because of their iniquities, are afflicted.

Malayalam: ഭോഷന്മാർ തങ്ങളുടെ ലംഘനങ്ങൾ ഹേതുവായും തങ്ങളുടെ അകൃത്യങ്ങൾനിമിത്തവും കഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടു.

English: Their soul detests all manner of food; and they draw near unto the gates of death.

Malayalam: അവർക്കു സകലവിധ ഭക്ഷണത്തോടും വെറുപ്പുതോന്നി; അവർ മരണവാതിലുകളോടു സമീപിച്ചിരുന്നു.

English: Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and he saves them out of their distresses.

Malayalam: അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ കഷ്ടതയിൽ യഹോവയോടു നിലവിളിച്ചു; അവൻ അവരെ അവരുടെ ഞെരുക്കങ്ങളിൽനിന്നു രക്ഷിച്ചു.

English: He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.

Malayalam: അവൻ തന്റെ വചനത്തെ അയച്ചു അവരെ സൌഖ്യമാക്കി; അവരുടെ കുഴികളിൽനിന്നു അവരെ വിടുവിച്ചു.

English: Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!

Malayalam: അവർ യഹോവയെ അവന്റെ നന്മയെചൊല്ലിയും മനുഷ്യപുത്രന്മാരിൽ ചെയ്ത അത്ഭുതങ്ങളെ ചൊല്ലിയും സ്തുതിക്കട്ടെ.

English: And let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare his works with rejoicing.

Malayalam: അവർ സ്തോത്രയാഗങ്ങളെ കഴിക്കയും സംഗീതത്തോടുകൂടെ അവന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തികളെ വർണ്ണിക്കയും ചെയ്യട്ടെ.

English: They that go down to the sea in ships, that do business in great waters;

Malayalam: കപ്പൽ കയറി സമുദ്രത്തിൽ ഓടിയവർ, പെരുവെള്ളങ്ങളിൽ വ്യാപാരം ചെയ്തവർ,

English: These see the works of the LORD, and his wonders in the deep.

Malayalam: അവർ യഹോവയുടെ പ്രവൃത്തികളെയും ആഴിയിൽ അവന്റെ അത്ഭുതങ്ങളെയും കണ്ടു.

English: For he commands, and raises the stormy wind, which lifts up the waves thereof.

Malayalam: അവൻ കല്പിച്ചു കൊടുങ്കാറ്റു അടിപ്പിച്ചു, അതു അതിലെ തിരകളെ പൊങ്ങുമാറാക്കി.

English: They mount up to the heaven, they go down again to the depths: their soul is melted because of trouble.

Malayalam: അവർ ആകാശത്തിലേക്കു ഉയർന്നു, വീണ്ടും ആഴത്തിലേക്കു താണു, അവരുടെ പ്രാണൻ കഷ്ടത്താൽ ഉരുകിപ്പോയി.

English: They reel back and forth, and stagger like a drunken man, and are at their know's end.

Malayalam: അവർ മത്തനെപ്പോലെ തുള്ളി ചാഞ്ചാടിനടന്നു; അവരുടെ ബുദ്ധി പൊയ്പോയിരുന്നു.

English: Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and he brings them out of their distresses.

Malayalam: അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ കഷ്ടതയിൽ യഹോവയോടു നിലവിളിച്ചു; അവൻ അവരെ അവരുടെ ഞെരുക്കങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നു വിടുവിച്ചു.

English: He makes the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof are still.

Malayalam: അവൻ കൊടുങ്കാറ്റിനെ ശാന്തമാക്കി; തിരമാലകൾ അടങ്ങി.

English: Then are they glad because they be quiet; so he brings them unto their desired haven.

Malayalam: ശാന്തത വന്നതുകൊണ്ടു അവർ സന്തോഷിച്ചു; അവർ ആഗ്രഹിച്ച തുറമുഖത്തു അവൻ അവരെ എത്തിച്ചു.

English: Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!

Malayalam: അവർ യഹോവയെ അവന്റെ നന്മയെ ചൊല്ലിയും മനുഷ്യപുത്രന്മാരിൽ ചെയ്ത അത്ഭുതങ്ങളെ ചൊല്ലിയും സ്തുതിക്കട്ടെ.

English: Let them exalt him also in the congregation of the people, and praise him in the assembly of the elders.

Malayalam: അവർ ജനത്തിന്റെ സഭയിൽ അവനെ പുകഴ്ത്തുകയും മൂപ്പന്മാരുടെ സംഘത്തിൽ അവനെ സ്തുതിക്കയും ചെയ്യട്ടേ.

English: He turns rivers into a wilderness, and the fountains into dry ground;

Malayalam: നിവാസികളുടെ ദുഷ്ടതനിമിത്തം അവൻ നദികളെ മരുഭൂമിയും

English: A fruitful land into barrenness, for the wickedness of them that dwell therein.

Malayalam: നീരുറവുകളെ വരണ്ട നിലവും ഫലപ്രദമായ ഭൂമിയെ ഉവർന്നിലവും ആക്കി.

English: He turns the wilderness into a standing water, and dry ground into fountains.

Malayalam: അവൻ മരുഭൂമിയെ ജലതടാകവും വരണ്ട നിലത്തെ നീരുറവുകളും ആക്കി.

English: And there he makes the hungry to dwell, that they may prepare a city for habitation;

Malayalam: വിശന്നവരെ അവൻ അവിടെ പാർപ്പിച്ചു; അവർ പാർപ്പാൻ പട്ടണം ഉണ്ടാക്കുകയും നിലം വിതെക്കയും

English: And sow the fields, and plant vineyards, which may yield fruits of increase.

Malayalam: മുന്തിരിത്തോട്ടം നട്ടുണ്ടാക്കുകയും നമൃദ്ധിയായി ഫലങ്ങളെ അനുഭവിക്കയും ചെയ്തു.

English: He blesses them also, so that they are multiplied greatly; and suffers not their cattle to decrease.

Malayalam: അവൻ അനുഗ്രഹിച്ചിട്ടു അവർ അത്യന്തം പെരുകി; അവരുടെ കന്നുകാലികൾ കുറഞ്ഞുപോകുവാൻ അവൻ ഇടവരുത്തിയില്ല.

English: Again, they are diminished and brought low through oppression, affliction, and sorrow.

Malayalam: പീഡനവും കഷ്ടതയും സങ്കടവും ഹേതുവായി അവർ പിന്നെയും കുറഞ്ഞു താണുപോയി.

English: He pours contempt upon princes, and causes them to wander in the wilderness, where there is no way.

Malayalam: അവൻ പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരുടെമേൽ നിന്ദപകരുകയും വഴിയില്ലാത്ത ശൂന്യപ്രദേശത്തു അവരെ ഉഴലുമാറാക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.

English: Yet sets he the poor on high from affliction, and makes him families like a flock.

Malayalam: അവൻ ദരിദ്രനെ പീഡയിൽനിന്നു ഉയർത്തി അവന്റെ കുലങ്ങളെ ആട്ടിൻ കൂട്ടംപോലെ ആക്കി.

English: The righteous shall see it, and rejoice: and all iniquity shall stop her mouth.

Malayalam: നേരുള്ളവർ ഇതു കണ്ടു സന്തോഷിക്കും; നീതികെട്ടവർ ഒക്കെയും വായ്പൊത്തും.

English: Whoso is wise, and will observe these things, even they shall understand the loving kindness of the LORD.

Malayalam: ജ്ഞാനമുള്ളവർ ഇവയെ ശ്രദ്ധിക്കും; അവർ യഹോവയുടെ കൃപകളെ ചിന്തിക്കും.
