Psalms 106

English: Praise all of you the LORD. O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endures for ever.

Malayalam: യഹോവയെ സ്തുതിപ്പിൻ; യഹോവെക്കു സ്തോത്രം ചെയ്‍വിൻ; അവൻ നല്ലവനല്ലോ; അവന്റെ ദയ എന്നേക്കും ഉള്ളതു.

English: Who can utter the mighty acts of the LORD? who can show forth all his praise?

Malayalam: യഹോവയുടെ വീര്യപ്രവൃത്തികളെ ആർ വർണ്ണിക്കും? അവന്റെ സ്തുതിയെ ഒക്കെയും ആർ വിവരിക്കും?

English: Blessed are they that keep judgment, and he that does righteousness at all times.

Malayalam: ന്യായത്തെ പ്രമാണിക്കുന്നവരും എല്ലായ്പോഴും നീതി പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നവനും ഭാഗ്യവാന്മാർ.

English: Remember me, O LORD, with the favour that you bear unto your people: O visit me with your salvation;

Malayalam: യഹോവേ, നീ തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തവരുടെ നന്മ ഞാൻ കാണേണ്ടതിന്നും നിന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ സന്തോഷത്തിൽ സന്തോഷിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നും നിന്റെ അവകാശത്തോടുകൂടെ പുകഴേണ്ടതിന്നും

English: That I may see the good of your chosen, that I may rejoice in the gladness of your nation, that I may glory with yours inheritance.

Malayalam: നിന്റെ ജനത്തോടുള്ള കടാക്ഷപ്രകാരം എന്നെ ഓർത്തു, നിന്റെ രക്ഷകൊണ്ടു എന്നെ സന്ദർശിക്കേണമേ.

English: We have sinned with our fathers, we have committed iniquity, we have done wickedly.

Malayalam: ഞങ്ങൾ ഞങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാരെപ്പോലെ പാപം ചെയ്തു; ഞങ്ങൾ അകൃത്യവും ദുഷ്ടതയും പ്രവർത്തിച്ചു.

English: Our fathers understood not your wonders in Egypt; they remembered not the multitude of your mercies; but provoked him at the sea, even at the Red sea.

Malayalam: ഞങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാർ മിസ്രയീമിൽവെച്ചു നിന്റെ അത്ഭുതങ്ങളെ ഗ്രഹിക്കാതെയും നിന്റെ മഹാദയയെ ഓർക്കാതെയും കടൽക്കരയിൽ, ചെങ്കടൽക്കരയിൽവെച്ചു തന്നേ മത്സരിച്ചു.

English: Nevertheless he saved them for his name's sake, that he might make his mighty power to be known.

Malayalam: എന്നിട്ടും അവൻ തന്റെ മഹാശക്തി വെളിപ്പെടുത്തേണ്ടതിന്നു തന്റെ നാമംനിമിത്തം അവരെ രക്ഷിച്ചു.

English: He rebuked the Red sea also, and it was dried up: so he led them through the depths, as through the wilderness.

Malayalam: അവൻ ചെങ്കടലിനെ ശാസിച്ചു, അതു ഉണങ്ങിപ്പോയി; അവൻ അവരെ മരുഭൂമിയിൽകൂടി എന്നപോലെ ആഴിയിൽകൂടി നടത്തി.

English: And he saved them from the hand of him that hated them, and redeemed them from the hand of the enemy.

Malayalam: അവൻ പകയന്റെ കയ്യിൽനിന്നു അവരെ രക്ഷിച്ചു; ശത്രുവിന്റെ കയ്യിൽനിന്നു അവരെ വീണ്ടെടുത്തു.

English: And the waters covered their enemies: there was not one of them left.

Malayalam: വെള്ളം അവരുടെ വൈരികളെ മൂടിക്കളഞ്ഞു; അവരിൽ ഒരുത്തനും ശേഷിച്ചില്ല.

English: Then believed they his words; they sang his praise.

Malayalam: അവർ അവന്റെ വചനങ്ങളെ വിശ്വസിച്ചു; അവന്നു സ്തുതിപാടുകയും ചെയ്തു.

English: They soon forgotten about his works; they waited not for his counsel:

Malayalam: എങ്കിലും അവർ വേഗത്തിൽ അവന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തികളെ മറന്നു; അവന്റെ ആലോചനെക്കു കാത്തിരുന്നതുമില്ല.

English: But lusted exceedingly in the wilderness, and tempted God in the desert.

Malayalam: മരുഭൂമിയിൽവെച്ചു അവർ ഏറ്റവും മോഹിച്ചു; നിർജ്ജനപ്രദേശത്തു അവർ ദൈവത്തെ പരീക്ഷിച്ചു.

English: And he gave them their request; but sent leanness into their soul.

Malayalam: അവർ അപേക്ഷിച്ചതു അവൻ അവർക്കുകൊടുത്തു; എങ്കിലും അവരുടെ പ്രാണന്നു ക്ഷയം അയച്ചു.

English: They envied Moses also in the camp, and Aaron the saint of the LORD.

Malayalam: പാളയത്തിൽവെച്ചു അവർ മോശെയോടും യഹോവയുടെ വിശുദ്ധനായ അഹരോനോടും അസൂയപ്പെട്ടു.

English: The earth opened and swallowed up Dathan and covered the company of Abiram.

Malayalam: ഭൂമി പിളർന്നു ദാഥാനെ വിഴുങ്ങി; അബീരാമിന്റെ കൂട്ടത്തെയും മൂടിക്കളഞ്ഞു.

English: And a fire was kindled in their company; the flame burned up the wicked.

Malayalam: അവരുടെ കൂട്ടത്തിൽ തീ കത്തി; അഗ്നിജ്വാല ദുഷ്ടന്മാരെ ദഹിപ്പിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു.

English: They made a calf in Horeb, and worshipped the molten image.

Malayalam: അവർ ഹോരേബിൽവെച്ചു ഒരു കാളക്കുട്ടിയെ ഉണ്ടാക്കി; വാർത്തുണ്ടാക്കിയ വിഗ്രഹത്തെ നമസ്കരിച്ചു.

English: Thus they changed their glory into the embodiment of an ox that eats grass.

Malayalam: ഇങ്ങനെ അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ മഹത്വമായവനെ പുല്ലു തിന്നുന്ന കാളയോടു സദ്രശനാക്കി തീർത്തു.

English: They forgotten about God their saviour, which had done great things in Egypt;

Malayalam: മിസ്രയീമിൽ വലിയ കാര്യങ്ങളും ഹാമിന്റെ ദേശത്തു അത്ഭുതപ്രവൃത്തികളും

English: Wondrous works in the land of Ham, and terrible things by the Red sea.

Malayalam: ചെങ്കടലിങ്കൽ ഭയങ്കരകാര്യങ്ങളും ചെയ്തവനായി തങ്ങളുടെ രക്ഷിതാവായ ദൈവത്തെ അവർ മറന്നുകളഞ്ഞു.

English: Therefore he said that he would destroy them, had not Moses his chosen stood before him in the breach, to turn away his wrath, lest he should destroy them.

Malayalam: ആകയാൽ അവരെ നശിപ്പിക്കുമെന്നു അവൻ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു; അവന്റെ വൃതനായ മോശെ കോപത്തെ ശമിപ്പിപ്പാൻ അവന്റെ സന്നിധിയിൽ പിളർപ്പിൽ നിന്നില്ലെങ്കിൽ അവൻ അവരെ നശിപ്പിച്ചുകളയുമായിരുന്നു.

English: Yea, they despised the pleasant land, they believed not his word:

Malayalam: അവർ മനോഹരദേശത്തെ നിരസിച്ചു; അവന്റെ വചനത്തെ വിശ്വസിച്ചതുമില്ല.

English: But murmured in their tents, and hearkened not unto the voice of the LORD.

Malayalam: അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ കൂടാരങ്ങളിൽവെച്ചു പിറുപിറുത്തു; യഹോവയുടെ വചനം കേൾക്കാതെയിരുന്നു.

English: Therefore he lifted up his hand against them, to overthrow them in the wilderness:

Malayalam: അതുകൊണ്ടു അവൻ: മരുഭൂമിയിൽ അവരെ വീഴിക്കുമെന്നും അവരുടെ സന്തതിയെ ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയിൽ നശിപ്പിക്കുമെന്നും

English: To overthrow their seed also among the nations, and to scatter them in the lands.

Malayalam: അവരെ ദേശങ്ങളിൽ ചിതറിച്ചുകളയുമെന്നും അവർക്കു വിരോധമായി തന്റെ കൈ ഉയർത്തി സത്യംചെയ്തു.

English: They joined themselves also unto Baalpeor, and ate the sacrifices of the dead.

Malayalam: അനന്തരം അവർ ബാൽപെയോരിനോടു ചേർന്നു; പ്രേതങ്ങൾക്കുള്ള ബലികളെ തിന്നു.

English: Thus they provoked him to anger with their inventions: and the plague brake in upon them.

Malayalam: ഇങ്ങനെ അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ ക്രിയകളാൽ അവനെ കോപിപ്പിച്ചു; പെട്ടെന്നു ഒരു ബാധ അവർക്കു തട്ടി.

English: Then stood up Phinehas, and executed judgment: and so the plague was stayed.

Malayalam: അപ്പോൾ ഫീനെഹാസ് എഴുന്നേറ്റു ശിക്ഷ നടത്തി; ബാധ നിർത്തലാകയും ചെയ്തു.

English: And that was counted unto him for righteousness unto all generations for evermore.

Malayalam: അതു എന്നേക്കും തലമുറതലമുറയായി അവന്നു നീതിയായിഎണ്ണിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

English: They angered him also at the waters of strife, so that it went ill with Moses for their sakes:

Malayalam: മെരീബാവെള്ളത്തിങ്കലും അവർ അവനെ കോപിപ്പിച്ചു; അവരുടെനിമിത്തം മോശെക്കും ദോഷം ഭവിച്ചു.

English: Because they provoked his spirit, so that he spoke without due consideration with his lips.

Malayalam: അവർ അവന്റെ മനസ്സിനെ കോപിപ്പിച്ചതുകൊണ്ടു അവൻ അധരങ്ങളാൽ അവിവേകം സംസാരിച്ചുപോയി.

English: They did not destroy the nations, concerning whom the LORD commanded them:

Malayalam: യഹോവ തങ്ങളോടു നശിപ്പിപ്പാൻ കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ അവർ ജാതികളെ നശിപ്പിച്ചില്ല.

English: But were mingled among the heathen, and learned their works.

Malayalam: അവർ ജാതികളോടു ഇടകലർന്നു അവരുടെ പ്രവൃത്തികളെ പഠിച്ചു.

English: And they served their idols: which were a snare unto them.

Malayalam: അവരുടെ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളെയും സേവിച്ചു; അവ അവർക്കൊരു കണിയായി തീർന്നു.

English: Yea, they sacrificed their sons and their daughters unto devils,

Malayalam: തങ്ങളുടെ പുത്രന്മാരെയും പുത്രിമാരെയും അവർ ഭൂതങ്ങൾക്കു ബലികഴിച്ചു.

English: And shed innocent blood, even the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed unto the idols of Canaan: and the land was polluted with blood.

Malayalam: അവർ കുറ്റമില്ലാത്ത രക്തം, പുത്രീപുത്രന്മാരുടെ രക്തം തന്നേ ചൊരിഞ്ഞു; അവരെ അവർ കനാന്യവിഗ്രഹങ്ങൾക്കു ബലികഴിച്ചു, ദേശം രക്തപാതകംകൊണ്ടു അശുദ്ധമായ്തീർന്നു.

English: Thus were they defiled with their own works, and went a whoring with their own inventions.

Malayalam: ഇങ്ങനെ അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ ക്രിയകളാൽ മലിനപ്പെട്ടു, തങ്ങളുടെ കർമ്മങ്ങളാൽ പരസംഗം ചെയ്തു.

English: Therefore was the wrath of the LORD kindled against his people, insomuch that he abhorred his own inheritance.

Malayalam: അതുകൊണ്ടു യഹോവയുടെ കോപം തന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ നേരെ ജ്വലിച്ചു; അവൻ തന്റെ അവകാശത്തെ വെറുത്തു.

English: And he gave them into the hand of the heathen; and they that hated them ruled over them.

Malayalam: അവൻ അവരെ ജാതികളുടെ കയ്യിൽ ഏല്പിച്ചു; അവരെ പകെച്ചവർ അവരെ ഭരിച്ചു.

English: Their enemies also oppressed them, and they were brought into subjection under their hand.

Malayalam: അവരുടെ ശത്രുക്കൾ അവരെ ഞെരുക്കി; അവർ അവർക്കു കീഴടങ്ങേണ്ടിവന്നു.

English: Many times did he deliver them; but they provoked him with their counsel, and were brought low for their iniquity.

Malayalam: പലപ്പോഴും അവൻ അവരെ വിടുവിച്ചു; എങ്കിലും അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ ആലോചനയാൽ അവനോടു മത്സരിച്ചു; തങ്ങളുടെ അകൃത്യംനിമിത്തം അധോഗതിപ്രാപിച്ചു.

English: Nevertheless he regarded their affliction, when he heard their cry:

Malayalam: എന്നാൽ അവരുടെ നിലവിളി കേട്ടപ്പോൾ അവൻ അവരുടെ കഷ്ടതയെ കടാക്ഷിച്ചു.

English: And he remembered for them his covenant, and repented according to the multitude of his mercies.

Malayalam: അവൻ അവർക്കായി തന്റെ നിയമത്തെ ഓർത്തു; തന്റെ മഹാദയപ്രകാരം അനുതപിച്ചു.

English: He made them also to be pitied of all those that carried them captives.

Malayalam: അവരെ ബദ്ധരാക്കി കൊണ്ടുപോയവർക്കെല്ലാം അവരോടു കനിവു തോന്നുമാറാക്കി.

English: Save us, O LORD our God, and gather us from among the heathen, to give thanks unto your holy name, and to triumph in your praise.

Malayalam: ഞങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവേ, ഞങ്ങളെ രക്ഷിക്കേണമേ; നിന്റെ വിശുദ്ധനാമത്തിന്നു സ്തോത്രം ചെയ്‍വാനും നിന്റെ സ്തുതിയിൽ പ്രശംസിപ്പാനും ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയിൽനിന്നു ഞങ്ങളെ ശേഖരിക്കേണമേ.

English: Blessed be the LORD God of Israel from everlasting to everlasting: and let all the people say, Amen. Praise all of you the LORD.

Malayalam: യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ എന്നും എന്നേക്കും വാഴ്ത്തപ്പെടുമാറാകട്ടെ; ജനമെല്ലാം ആമേൻ എന്നു പറയട്ടെ. യഹോവയെ സ്തുതിപ്പിൻ.
