Psalms 71

English: In you, O LORD, do I put my trust: let me never be put to confusion.

Malayalam: യഹോവ, ഞാൻ നിന്നിൽ ആശ്രയിക്കുന്നു; ഞാൻ ഒരുനാളും ലജ്ജിച്ചുപോകരുതേ.

English: Deliver me in your righteousness, and cause me to escape: incline yours ear unto me, and save me.

Malayalam: നിന്റെ നീതിനിമിത്തം എന്നെ ഉദ്ധരിച്ചു വിടുവിക്കേണമേ; നിന്റെ ചെവി എങ്കലേക്കു ചായിച്ചു എന്നെ രക്ഷിക്കേണമേ.

English: Be you my strong habitation, unto which I may continually resort: you have given commandment to save me; for you are my rock and my fortress.

Malayalam: ഞാൻ എപ്പോഴും വന്നു പാർക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നീ എനിക്കു ഉറപ്പുള്ള പാറയായിരിക്കേണമേ; എന്നെ രക്ഷിപ്പാൻ നീ കല്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; നീ എന്റെ പാറയും എന്റെ കോട്ടയും ആകുന്നുവല്ലോ.

English: Deliver me, O my God, out of the hand of the wicked, out of the hand of the unrighteous and cruel man.

Malayalam: എന്റെ ദൈവമേ, ദുഷ്ടന്റെ കയ്യിൽനിന്നും നീതികേടും ക്രൂരതയും ഉള്ളവന്റെ കയ്യിൽ നിന്നും എന്നെ വിടുവിക്കേണമേ.

English: For you are my hope, O Lord GOD: you are my trust from my youth.

Malayalam: യഹോവയായ കർത്താവേ, നീ എന്റെ പ്രത്യാശയാകുന്നു; ബാല്യംമുതൽ നീ എന്റെ ആശ്രയം തന്നേ.

English: By you have I been held up from the womb: you are he that took me out of my mother's bowels: my praise shall be continually of you.

Malayalam: ഗർഭംമുതൽ നീ എന്നെ താങ്ങിയിരിക്കുന്നു; എന്റെ അമ്മയുടെ ഉദരത്തിൽനിന്നു എന്നെ എടുത്തവൻ നീ തന്നെ; എന്റെ സ്തുതി എപ്പോഴും നിന്നെക്കുറിച്ചാകുന്നു;

English: I am as a wonder unto many; but you are my strong refuge.

Malayalam: ഞാൻ പലർക്കും ഒരത്ഭുതം ആയിരിക്കുന്നു; നീ എന്റെ ബലമുള്ള സങ്കേതമാകുന്നു.

English: Let my mouth be filled with your praise and with your honour all the day.

Malayalam: എന്റെ വായ് നിന്റെ സ്തുതികൊണ്ടും ഇടവിടാതെ നിന്റെ പ്രശംസകൊണ്ടും നിറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു.

English: Cast me not off in the time of old age; forsake me not when my strength fails.

Malayalam: വാർദ്ധക്യകാലത്തു നീ എന്നെ തള്ളിക്കളയരുതേ; ബലം ക്ഷയിക്കുമ്പോൾ എന്നെ ഉപേക്ഷിക്കയുമരുതേ.

English: For mine enemies speak against me; and they that lay wait for my soul take counsel together,

Malayalam: എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കൾ എന്നെക്കുറിച്ചു സംസാരിക്കുന്നു; എന്റെ പ്രാണഹാനിക്കായി കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നവർ കൂടിയാലോചിക്കുന്നു.

English: Saying, God has forsaken him: persecute and take him; for there is none to deliver him.

Malayalam: ദൈവം അവനെ ഉപേക്ഷിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; പിന്തുടർന്നു പിടിപ്പിൻ; വിടുവിപ്പാൻ ആരുമില്ല എന്നു അവർ പറയുന്നു.

English: O God, be not far from me: O my God, make haste for my help.

Malayalam: ദൈവമേ, എന്നോടു അകന്നിരിക്കരുതേ; എന്റെ ദൈവമേ, എന്നെ സഹായിപ്പാൻ വേഗം വരേണമേ.

English: Let them be confounded and consumed that are adversaries to my soul; let them be covered with reproach and dishonour that seek my hurt.

Malayalam: എന്റെ പ്രാണന്നു വിരോധികളായവർ ലജ്ജിച്ചു നശിച്ചുപോകട്ടെ; എനിക്കു അനർത്ഥം അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നവർ നിന്ദകൊണ്ടും ലജ്ജകൊണ്ടും മൂടിപ്പോകട്ടെ.

English: But I will hope continually, and will yet praise you more and more.

Malayalam: ഞാനോ എപ്പോഴും പ്രത്യാശിക്കും; ഞാൻ മേല്ക്കുമേൽ നിന്നെ സ്തുതിക്കും.

English: My mouth shall show forth your righteousness and your salvation all the day; for I know not the numbers thereof.

Malayalam: എന്റെ വായ് ഇടവിടാതെ നിന്റെ നീതിയെയും രക്ഷയെയും വർണ്ണിക്കും; അവയുടെ സംഖ്യ എനിക്കു അറിഞ്ഞുകൂടാ.

English: I will go in the strength of the Lord GOD: I will make mention of your righteousness, even of yours only.

Malayalam: ഞാൻ യഹോവയായ കർത്താവിന്റെ വീര്യപ്രവൃത്തികളോടുകൂടെ വരും; നിന്റെ നീതിയെ മാത്രം ഞാൻ കീർത്തിക്കും.

English: O God, you have taught me from my youth: and until now have I declared your wondrous works.

Malayalam: ദൈവമേ, എന്റെ ബാല്യംമുതൽ നീ എന്നെ ഉപദേശിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; ഇന്നുവരെ ഞാൻ നിന്റെ അത്ഭുതപ്രവൃത്തികളെ അറിയിച്ചുമിരിക്കുന്നു.

English: Now also when I am old and greyheaded, O God, forsake me not; until I have showed your strength unto this generation, and your power to every one that is to come.

Malayalam: ദൈവമേ, അടുത്ത തലമുറയോടു ഞാൻ നിന്റെ ഭുജത്തെയും വരുവാനുള്ള എല്ലാവരോടും നിന്റെ വീര്യപ്രവൃത്തിയെയും അറിയിക്കുവോളം വാർദ്ധക്യവും നരയും ഉള്ള കാലത്തും എന്നെ ഉപേക്ഷിക്കരുതേ.

English: Your righteousness also, O God, is very high, who have done great things: O God, who is like unto you!

Malayalam: ദൈവമേ, നിന്റെ നീതിയും അത്യുന്നതമായിരിക്കുന്നു; മഹാകാര്യങ്ങളെ പ്രവർത്തിച്ചിട്ടുള്ള ദൈവമേ, നിന്നോടു തുല്യൻ ആരുള്ളു?

English: You, which have showed me great and sore troubles, shall restore life in me again, and shall bring me up again from the depths of the earth.

Malayalam: അനവധി കഷ്ടങ്ങളും അനർത്ഥങ്ങളും ഞങ്ങളെ കാണുമാറാക്കിയവനേ, നീ ഞങ്ങളെ വീണ്ടും ജീവിപ്പിക്കും; ഭൂമിയുടെ ആഴങ്ങളിൽനിന്നു ഞങ്ങളെ തിരികെ കയറ്റും.

English: You shall increase my greatness, and comfort me on every side.

Malayalam: നീ എന്റെ മഹത്വം വർദ്ധിപ്പിച്ചു എന്നെ വീണ്ടും ആശ്വസിപ്പിക്കേണമേ.

English: I will also praise you with the psaltery, even your truth, O my God: unto you will I sing with the harp, O you Holy One of Israel.

Malayalam: എന്റെ ദൈവമേ, ഞാനും വീണകൊണ്ടു നിന്നെയും നിന്റെ വിശ്വസ്തതയെയും സ്തുതിക്കും; യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ പരിശുദ്ധനായുള്ളോവേ, ഞാൻ കിന്നരംകൊണ്ടു നിനക്കു സ്തുതിപാടും.

English: My lips shall greatly rejoice when I sing unto you; and my soul, which you have redeemed.

Malayalam: ഞാൻ നിനക്കു സ്തുതിപാടുമ്പോൾ എന്റെ അധരങ്ങളും നീ വീണ്ടെടുത്ത എന്റെ പ്രാണനും ഘോഷിച്ചാനന്ദിക്കും.

English: My tongue also shall talk of your righteousness all the day long: for they are confounded, for they are brought unto shame, that seek my hurt.

Malayalam: എന്റെ നാവും ഇടവിടാതെ നിന്റെ നീതിയെക്കുറിച്ചു സംസാരിക്കും; എനിക്കു അനർത്ഥം അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നവർ ലജ്ജിച്ചു ഭ്രമിച്ചുപോയിരിക്കുന്നു.
