Psalms 69

English: Save me, O God; for the waters are come in unto my soul.

Malayalam: ദൈവമേ, എന്നെ രക്ഷിക്കേണമേ; വെള്ളം എന്റെ പ്രാണനോളം എത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

English: I sink in deep mire, where there is no standing: I am come into deep waters, where the floods overflow me.

Malayalam: ഞാൻ നിലയില്ലാത്ത ആഴമുള്ള ചേറ്റിൽ താഴുന്നു; ആഴമുള്ള വെള്ളത്തിൽ ഞാൻ മുങ്ങിപ്പോകുന്നു; പ്രവാഹങ്ങൾ എന്നെ കവിഞ്ഞൊഴുകുന്നു.

English: I am weary of my crying: my throat is dried: mine eyes fail while I wait for my God.

Malayalam: എന്റെ നിലവിളിയാൽ ഞാൻ തളർന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; എന്റെ തൊണ്ട ഉണങ്ങിയിരിക്കുന്നു; ഞാൻ എന്റെ ദൈവത്തെ പ്രതീക്ഷിച്ചു എന്റെ കണ്ണു മങ്ങിപ്പോകുന്നു.

English: They that hate me without a cause are more than the hairs of mine head: they that would destroy me, being mine enemies wrongfully, are mighty: then I restored that which I took not away.

Malayalam: കാരണംകൂടാതെ എന്നെ പകെക്കുന്നവർ എന്റെ തലയിലെ രോമത്തിലും അധികമാകുന്നു; വൃഥാ എനിക്കു ശത്രുക്കളായി എന്നെ സംഹരിപ്പാൻ ഭാവിക്കുന്നവർ പെരുകിയിരിക്കുന്നു; ഞാൻ കവർച്ചചെയ്യാത്തതു തിരികെ കൊടുക്കേണ്ടിവരുന്നു.

English: O God, you know my foolishness; and my sins are not hid from you.

Malayalam: ദൈവമേ, നീ എന്റെ ഭോഷത്വം അറിയുന്നു; എന്റെ അകൃത്യങ്ങൾ നിനക്കു മറവായിരിക്കുന്നില്ല.

English: Let not them that wait on you, O Lord GOD of hosts, be ashamed for my sake: let not those that seek you be confounded for my sake, O God of Israel.

Malayalam: സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവയായ കർത്താവേ, നിങ്കൽ പ്രത്യാശവെക്കുന്നവർ എന്റെ നിമിത്തം ലജ്ജിച്ചുപോകരുതേ; യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമേ, നിന്നെ അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നവർ എന്റെ നിമിത്തം നാണിച്ചുപോകരുതേ.

English: Because for your sake I have borne reproach; shame has covered my face.

Malayalam: നിന്റെ നിമിത്തം ഞാൻ നിന്ദ വഹിച്ചു; ലജ്ജ എന്റെ മുഖത്തെ മൂടിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

English: I am become a stranger unto my brethren, and an foreigner unto my mother's children.

Malayalam: എന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാർക്കു ഞാൻ പരദേശിയും എന്റെ അമ്മയുടെ മക്കൾക്കു അന്യനും ആയി തീർന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.

English: For the zeal of yours house has eaten me up; and the reproaches of them that reproached you are fallen upon me.

Malayalam: നിന്റെ ആലയത്തെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള എരിവു എന്നെ തിന്നുകളഞ്ഞു; നിന്നെ നിന്ദിക്കുന്നവരുടെ നിന്ദ എന്റെ മേൽ വീണിരിക്കുന്നു.

English: When I wept, and chastened my soul with fasting, that was to my reproach.

Malayalam: ഞാൻ കരഞ്ഞു ഉപവാസത്താൽ ആത്മതപനം ചെയ്തു. അതും എനിക്കു നിന്ദയായ്തീർന്നു;

English: I made sackcloth also my garment; and I became a proverb to them.

Malayalam: ഞാൻ രട്ടുശീല എന്റെ ഉടുപ്പാക്കി; ഞാൻ അവർക്കു പഴഞ്ചൊല്ലായ്തീർന്നു.

English: They that sit in the gate speak against me; and I was the song of the drunkards.

Malayalam: പട്ടണവാതിൽക്കൽ ഇരിക്കുന്നവർ എന്നെക്കുറിച്ചു സല്ലാപിക്കുന്നു; ഞാൻ മദ്യപന്മാരുടെ പാട്ടായിരിക്കുന്നു.

English: But as for me, my prayer is unto you, O LORD, in an acceptable time: O God, in the multitude of your mercy hear me, in the truth of your salvation.

Malayalam: ഞാനോ യഹോവേ, പ്രസാദകാലത്തു നിന്നോടു പ്രാർത്ഥിക്കുന്നു; ദൈവമേ, നിന്റെ ദയയുടെ ബഹുത്വത്താൽ, നിന്റെ രക്ഷാവിശ്വസ്തതയാൽ തന്നേ, എനിക്കുത്തരമരുളേണമേ.

English: Deliver me out of the mire, and let me not sink: let me be delivered from them that hate me, and out of the deep waters.

Malayalam: ചേറ്റിൽനിന്നു എന്നെ കയറ്റേണമേ; ഞാൻ താണുപോകരുതേ; എന്നെ പകെക്കുന്നവരുടെ കയ്യിൽനിന്നും ആഴമുള്ള വെള്ളത്തിൽനിന്നും എന്നെ വിടുവിക്കേണമേ.

English: Let not the flood of waters overflow me, neither let the deep swallow me up, and let not the pit shut her mouth upon me.

Malayalam: ജലപ്രവാഹം എന്റെ മീതെ കവിയരുതേ; ആഴം എന്നെ വിഴുങ്ങരുതേ; കുഴി എന്നെ അടെച്ചുകൊള്ളുകയുമരുതേ.

English: Hear me, O LORD; for your loving kindness is good: turn unto me according to the multitude of your tender mercies.

Malayalam: യഹോവേ, എനിക്കുത്തരമരുളേണമേ; നിന്റെ ദയ നല്ലതല്ലോ; നിന്റെ കരുണയുടെ ബഹുത്വപ്രകാരം എങ്കലേക്കു തിരിയേണമേ;

English: And hide not your face from your servant; for I am in trouble: hear me speedily.

Malayalam: അടിയന്നു തിരുമുഖം മറെക്കരുതേ; ഞാൻ കഷ്ടത്തിൽ ഇരിക്കയാൽ വേഗത്തിൽ എനിക്കു ഉത്തരമരുളേണമേ.

English: Draw nigh unto my soul, and redeem it: deliver me because of mine enemies.

Malayalam: എന്റെ പ്രാണനോടു അടുത്തുവന്നു അതിനെ വീണ്ടുകൊള്ളേണമേ; എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കൾനിമിത്തം എന്നെ വീണ്ടെടുക്കേണമേ.

English: You have known my reproach, and my shame, and my dishonour: mine adversaries are all before you.

Malayalam: എനിക്കുള്ള നിന്ദയും ലജ്ജയും അപമാനവും നീ അറിയുന്നു; എന്റെ വൈരികൾ എല്ലാവരും നിന്റെ ദൃഷ്ടിയിൽ ഇരിക്കുന്നു.

English: Reproach has broken my heart; and I am full of heaviness: and I looked for some to take pity, but there was none; and for comforters, but I found none.

Malayalam: നിന്ദ എന്റെ ഹൃദയത്തെ തകർത്തു, ഞാൻ ഏറ്റവും വിഷാദിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; വല്ലവന്നും സഹതാപം തോന്നുമോ എന്നു ഞാൻ നോക്കിക്കൊണ്ടിരുന്നു; ആർക്കും തോന്നിയില്ല; ആശ്വസിപ്പിക്കുന്നവരുണ്ടോ എന്നും നോക്കിക്കൊണ്ടിരുന്നു; ആരെയും കണ്ടില്ലതാനും.

English: They gave me also gall for my food; and in my thirst they gave me vinegar to drink.

Malayalam: അവർ എനിക്കു തിന്നുവാൻ കൈപ്പു തന്നു; എന്റെ ദാഹത്തിന്നു അവർ എനിക്കു ചൊറുക്ക കുടിപ്പാൻ തന്നു.

English: Let their table become a snare before them: and that which should have been for their welfare, let it become a trap.

Malayalam: അവരുടെ മേശ അവരുടെ മുമ്പിൽ കണിയായും അവർ സുഖത്തോടിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ കുടുക്കായും തീരട്ടെ.

English: Let their eyes be darkened, that they see not; and make their loins continually to shake.

Malayalam: അവരുടെ കണ്ണു കാണാതവണ്ണം ഇരുണ്ടുപോകട്ടെ; അവരുടെ അര എപ്പോഴും ആടുമാറാക്കേണമേ.

English: Pour out yours indignation upon them, and let your wrathful anger take hold of them.

Malayalam: നിന്റെ ക്രോധം അവരുടെമേൽ പകരേണമേ. നിന്റെ ഉഗ്രകോപം അവരെ പിടിക്കുമാറാകട്ടെ.

English: Let their habitation be desolate; and let none dwell in their tents.

Malayalam: അവരുടെ വാസസ്ഥലം ശൂന്യമായിപ്പോകട്ടെ; അവരുടെ കൂടാരങ്ങളിൽ ആരും പാർക്കാതിരിക്കട്ടെ.

English: For they persecute him whom you have smitten; and they talk to the grief of those whom you have wounded.

Malayalam: നീ ദണ്ഡിപ്പിച്ചവനെ അവർ ഉപദ്രവിക്കുന്നു; നീ മുറിവേല്പിച്ചവരുടെ വേദനയെ അവർ വിവിരക്കുന്നു.

English: Add iniquity unto their iniquity: and let them not come into your righteousness.

Malayalam: അവരുടെ അകൃത്യത്തോടു അകൃത്യം കൂട്ടേണമേ; നിന്റെ നീതിയെ അവർ പ്രാപിക്കരുതേ.

English: Let them be blotted out of the book of the living, and not be written with the righteous.

Malayalam: ജീവന്റെ പുസ്തകത്തിൽനിന്നു അവരെ മായിച്ചുകളയേണമേ; നീതിമാന്മാരോടുകൂടെ അവരെ എഴുതരുതേ.

English: But I am poor and sorrowful: let your salvation, O God, set me up on high.

Malayalam: ഞാനോ എളിയവനും ദുഃഖിതനും ആകുന്നു; ദൈവമേ, നിന്റെ രക്ഷ എന്നെ ഉയർത്തുമാറാകട്ടെ.

English: I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify him with thanksgiving.

Malayalam: ഞാൻ പാട്ടോടെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ നാമത്തെ സ്തുതിക്കും; സ്തോത്രത്തോടെ അവനെ മഹത്വപ്പെടുത്തും.

English: This also shall please the LORD better than an ox or bullock that has horns and hoofs.

Malayalam: അതു യഹോവെക്കു കാളയെക്കാളും കൊമ്പും കുളമ്പും ഉള്ള മൂരിയെക്കാളും പ്രസാദകരമാകും.

English: The humble shall see this, and be glad: and your heart shall live that seek God.

Malayalam: സൌമ്യതയുള്ളവർ അതു കണ്ടു സന്തോഷിക്കും; ദൈവത്തെ അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നവരേ, നിങ്ങളുടെ ഹൃദയം ജീവിക്കട്ടെ.

English: For the LORD hears the poor, and despises not his prisoners.

Malayalam: യഹോവ ദരിദ്രന്മാരുടെ പ്രാർത്ഥന കേൾക്കുന്നു; തന്റെ ബദ്ധന്മാരെ നിന്ദിക്കുന്നതുമില്ല;

English: Let the heaven and earth praise him, the seas, and every thing that moves therein.

Malayalam: ആകാശവും ഭൂമിയും സമുദ്രങ്ങളും അവയിൽ ചരിക്കുന്ന സകലവും അവനെ സ്തുതിക്കട്ടെ.

English: For God will save Zion, and will build the cities of Judah: that they may dwell there, and have it in possession.

Malayalam: ദൈവം സീയോനെ രക്ഷിക്കും; അവൻ യെഹൂദാനഗരങ്ങളെ പണിയും; അവർ അവിടെ പാർത്തു അതിനെ കൈവശമാക്കും.

English: The seed also of his servants shall inherit it: and they that love his name shall dwell therein.

Malayalam: അവന്റെ ദാസന്മാരുടെ സന്തതി അതിനെ അവകാശമാക്കും; അവന്റെ നാമത്തെ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നവർ അതിൽ വസിക്കും.
