Psalms 63

English: O God, you are my God; early will I seek you: my soul thirsts for you, my flesh longs for you in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is;

Malayalam: ദൈവമേ, നീ എന്റെ ദൈവം; അതികാലത്തേ ഞാൻ നിന്നെ അന്വേഷിക്കും; വെള്ളമില്ലാതെ ഉണങ്ങി വരണ്ട ദേശത്തു എന്റെ ഉള്ളം നിനക്കായി ദാഹിക്കുന്നു; എന്റെ ദേഹം നിനക്കായി കാംക്ഷിക്കുന്നു.

English: To see your power and your glory, so as I have seen you in the sanctuary.

Malayalam: അങ്ങനെ നിന്റെ ബലവും മഹത്വവും കാണേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാൻ വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തിൽ നിന്നെ നോക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

English: Because your loving kindness is better than life, my lips shall praise you.

Malayalam: നിന്റെ ദയ ജീവനെക്കാൾ നല്ലതാകുന്നു; എന്റെ അധരങ്ങൾ നിന്നെ സ്തുതിക്കും.

English: Thus will I bless you while I live: I will lift up my hands in your name.

Malayalam: എന്റെ ജീവകാലം ഒക്കെയും ഞാൻ അങ്ങനെ നിന്നെ വാഴ്ത്തും; നിന്റെ നാമത്തിൽ ഞാൻ എന്റെ കൈകളെ മലർത്തും.

English: My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise you with joyful lips:

Malayalam: എന്റെ കിടക്കയിൽ നിന്നെ ഓർക്കയും ഞാൻ രാത്രിയാമങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നെ ധ്യാനിക്കയും ചെയ്യുമ്പോൾ

English: When I remember you upon my bed, and meditate on you in the night watches.

Malayalam: എന്റെ പ്രാണന്നു മജ്ജയും മേദസ്സുംകൊണ്ടു എന്നപോലെ തൃപ്തിവരുന്നു; എന്റെ വായ് സന്തോഷമുള്ള അധരങ്ങളാൽ നിന്നെ സ്തുതിക്കുന്നു.

English: Because you have been my help, therefore in the shadow of your wings will I rejoice.

Malayalam: നീ എനിക്കു സഹായമായിത്തീർന്നുവല്ലോ; നിന്റെ ചിറകിൻ നിഴലിൽ ഞാൻ ഘോഷിച്ചാനന്ദിക്കുന്നു.

English: My soul follows hard after you: your right hand upholds me.

Malayalam: എന്റെ ഉള്ളം നിന്നോടു പറ്റിയിരിക്കുന്നു; നിന്റെ വലങ്കൈ എന്നെ താങ്ങുന്നു.

English: But those that seek my soul, to destroy it, shall go into the lower parts of the earth.

Malayalam: എന്നാൽ അവർ സ്വന്തനാശത്തിന്നായി എനിക്കു പ്രാണഹാനി വരുത്തുവാൻ നോക്കുന്നു; അവർ ഭൂമിയുടെ അധോഭാഗങ്ങളിലേക്കു ഇറങ്ങിപ്പോകും.

English: They shall fall by the sword: they shall be a portion for foxes.

Malayalam: അവരെ വാളിന്റെ ശക്തിക്കു ഏല്പിക്കും; കുറുനരികൾക്കു അവർ ഇരയായ്തീരും.

English: But the king shall rejoice in God; every one that swears by him shall glory: but the mouth of them that speak lies shall be stopped.

Malayalam: എന്നാൽ രാജാവു ദൈവത്തിൽ സന്തോഷിക്കും അവന്റെ നാമത്തിൽ സത്യം ചെയ്യുന്നവനെല്ലാം പുകഴും; എങ്കിലും ഭോഷ്കു പറയുന്നവരുടെ വായ് അടഞ്ഞുപോകും.
