Luke 17

English: Then said he unto the disciples, It is impossible but that offences will come: but woe unto him, through whom they come!

Malayalam: അവൻ തന്റെ ശിഷ്യന്മാരോടു പറഞ്ഞതു: “ഇടർച്ചകൾ വരാതിരിക്കുന്നതു അസാദ്ധ്യം; എങ്കിലും അവ വരുത്തുന്നവന്നു അയ്യോ കഷ്ടം.

English: It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.

Malayalam: അവൻ ഈ ചെറിയവരിൽ ഒരുത്തന്നു ഇടർച്ച വരുത്തുന്നതിനെക്കാൾ ഒരു തിരിക്കല്ലു അവന്റെ കഴുത്തിൽ കെട്ടി അവനെ കടലിൽ എറിഞ്ഞുകളയുന്നതു അവന്നു നന്നു.

English: Take heed to yourselves: If your brother trespass against you, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him.

Malayalam: സൂക്ഷിച്ചുകൊൾവിൻ; സഹോദരൻ പിഴച്ചാൽ അവനെ ശാസിക്ക; അവൻ മാനസാന്തരപ്പെട്ടാൽ അവനോടു ക്ഷമിക്ക.

English: And if he trespass against you seven times in a day, and seven times in a day return to you, saying, I repent; you shall forgive him.

Malayalam: ദിവസത്തിൽ ഏഴുവട്ടം നിന്നോടു പിഴെക്കയും ഏഴുവട്ടവും നിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വന്നു: ഞാൻ മാനസാന്തരപ്പെടുന്നു എന്നു പറകയും ചെയ്താൽ അവനോടു ക്ഷമിക്ക.

English: And the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith.

Malayalam: അപ്പൊസ്തലന്മാർ കർത്താവിനോടു: ഞങ്ങൾക്കു വിശ്വാസം വർദ്ധിപ്പിച്ചുതരേണമേ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

English: And the Lord said, If all of you had faith as a grain of mustard seed, all of you might say unto this sycamine tree, Be you plucked up by the root, and be you planted in the sea; and it should obey you.

Malayalam: അതിന്നു കർത്താവു പറഞ്ഞതു: “നിങ്ങൾക്കു കടകുമണിയോളം വിശ്വാസം ഉണ്ടെങ്കിൽ ഈ കാട്ടത്തിയോടു: വേരോടെ പറിഞ്ഞു കടലിൽ നട്ടുപോക എന്നു പറഞ്ഞാൽ അതു നിങ്ങളെ അനുസരിക്കും.

English: But which of you, having a servant plowing or feeding cattle, will say unto him by and by, when he has come from the field, Go and sit down to food?

Malayalam: നിങ്ങളിൽ ആർക്കെങ്കിലും ഉഴുകയോ മേയ്ക്കയോ ചെയ്യുന്ന ഒരു ദാസൻ ഉണ്ടെന്നിരിക്കട്ടെ. അവൻ വയലിൽനിന്നു വരുമ്പോൾ: നീ ക്ഷണത്തിൽ വന്നു ഊണിന്നു ഇരിക്ക എന്നു അവനോടു പറയുമോ? അല്ല:

English: And will not rather say unto him, Make ready wherewith I may sup, and gird yourself, and serve me, till I have eaten and drunken; and afterward you shall eat and drink?

Malayalam: എനിക്കു അത്താഴം ഒരുക്കുക; ഞാൻ തിന്നുകുടിച്ചു തീരുവോളം അരകെട്ടി എനിക്കു ശുശ്രൂഷചെയ്ക; പിന്നെ നീയും തിന്നു കുടിച്ചുകൊൾക എന്നു പറകയില്ലയോ?

English: Does he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded him? I I think not not.

Malayalam: തന്നോടു കല്പിച്ചതു ദാസൻ ചെയ്തതുകൊണ്ടു അവന്നു നന്ദിപറയുമോ?

English: So likewise all of you, when all of you shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say, We are useless servants: we have done that which was our duty to do.

Malayalam: അവ്വണ്ണം നിങ്ങളോടു കല്പിച്ചതു ഒക്കെയും ചെയ്തശേഷം: ഞങ്ങൾ പ്രയോജനം ഇല്ലാത്ത ദാസന്മാർ; ചെയ്യേണ്ടതേ ചെയ്തിട്ടുള്ളു എന്നു നിങ്ങളും പറവിൻ.

English: And it came to pass, as he went to Jerusalem, that he passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee.

Malayalam: അവൻ യെരൂശലേമിലേക്കു യാത്രചെയ്കയിൽ ശമര്യക്കും ഗലീലെക്കും നടുവിൽകൂടി കടക്കുമ്പോൾ

English: And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, which stood far off:

Malayalam: ഒരു ഗ്രാമത്തിൽ ചെല്ലുന്നേരം കുഷ്ഠരോഗികളായ പത്തു പുരുഷന്മാർ അവന്നു എതിർപെട്ടു

English: And they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us.

Malayalam: അകലെ നിന്നുകൊണ്ടു: യേശൂ, നായക, ഞങ്ങളോടു കരുണയുണ്ടാകേണമേ എന്നു ഉറക്കെ പറഞ്ഞു.

English: And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go show yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed.

Malayalam: അവൻ അവരെ കണ്ടിട്ടു: “നിങ്ങൾ പോയി പുരോഹിതന്മാർക്കു നിങ്ങളെ തന്നേ കാണിപ്പിൻ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു; പോകയിൽ തന്നേ അവർ ശുദ്ധരായ്തീർന്നു.

English: And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God,

Malayalam: അവരിൽ ഒരുത്തൻ തനിക്കു സൌഖ്യംവന്നതു കണ്ടു ഉച്ചത്തിൽ ദൈവത്തെ മഹത്വപ്പെടുത്തിക്കൊണ്ടു മടങ്ങിവന്നു അവന്റെ കാൽക്കൽ കവിണ്ണു വീണു അവന്നു നന്ദി പറഞ്ഞു;

English: And fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan.

Malayalam: അവനോ ശമര്യക്കാരൻ ആയിരുന്നു

English: And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine?

Malayalam: “പത്തുപേർ ശുദ്ധരായ്തീർന്നില്ലയോ? ഒമ്പതുപേർ എവിടെ?

English: There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger.

Malayalam: ഈ അന്യജാതിക്കാരനല്ലാതെ ദൈവത്തിന്നു മഹത്വം കൊടുപ്പാൻ മടങ്ങിവന്നവരായി ആരെയും കാണുന്നില്ലല്ലോ ” എന്നു യേശു പറഞ്ഞിട്ടു അവനോടു:

English: And he said unto him, Arise, go your way: your faith has made you whole.

Malayalam: “എഴുന്നേറ്റു പൊയ്ക്കൊൾക; നിന്റെ വിശ്വാസം നിന്നെ രക്ഷിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

English: And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God comes not with observation:

Malayalam: ദൈവരാജ്യം എപ്പോൾ വരുന്നു എന്നു പരീശന്മാർ ചോദിച്ചതിന്നു: “ദൈവരാജ്യം കാണത്തക്കവണ്ണമല്ല വരുന്നതു;

English: Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.

Malayalam: ഇതാ ഇവിടെ എന്നും അതാ അവിടെ എന്നും പറകയും ഇല്ല; ദൈവരാജ്യം നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയിൽ തന്നേ ഉണ്ടല്ലോ ”എന്നു അവൻ ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

English: And he said unto the disciples, The days will come, when all of you shall desire to see one of the days of the Son of man, and all of you shall not see it.

Malayalam: പിന്നെ അവൻ തന്റെ ശിഷ്യന്മാരോടു പറഞ്ഞതു: “നിങ്ങൾ മനുഷ്യപുത്രന്റെ ഒരു ദിവസം കാണ്മാൻ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്ന കാലം വരും;

English: And they shall say to you, See here; or, see there: go not after them, nor follow them.

Malayalam: കാണുകയില്ലതാനും. അന്നു നിങ്ങളോടു: ഇതാ ഇവിടെ എന്നും അതാ അവിടെ എന്നും പറയും; നിങ്ങൾ പോകരുതു, പിൻചെല്ലുകയുമരുതു.

English: For as the lightning, that lightens out of the one part under heaven, shines unto the other part under heaven; so shall also the Son of man be in his day.

Malayalam: മിന്നൽ ആകാശത്തിങ്കീഴെ ദിക്കോടുദിക്കെല്ലാം തിളങ്ങി മിന്നുന്നതുപോലെ മനുഷ്യപുത്രൻ തന്റെ ദിവസത്തിൽ ആകും.

English: But first must he suffer many things, and be rejected of this generation.

Malayalam: എന്നാൽ ആദ്യം അവൻ വളരെ കഷ്ടം അനുഭവിക്കയും ഈ തലമുറ അവനെ തള്ളിക്കളകയും വേണം.

English: And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.

Malayalam: നോഹയുടെ കാലത്തു സംഭവിച്ചതുപോലെ മനുഷ്യപുത്രന്റെ നാളിലും ഉണ്ടാകും.

English: They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.

Malayalam: നോഹ പെട്ടകത്തിൽ കടന്ന നാൾവരെ അവർ തിന്നും കുടിച്ചും വിവാഹം കഴിച്ചും വിവാഹത്തിന്നു കൊടുത്തും പോന്നു; ജലപ്രളയം വന്നു, അവരെ എല്ലാവരെയും മുടിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു.

English: Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built;

Malayalam: ലോത്തിന്റെ കാലത്തു സംഭവിച്ചതുപോലെയും തന്നേ; അവർ തിന്നും കുടിച്ചുംകൊണ്ടും വിറ്റും നട്ടും പണിതും പോന്നു.

English: But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.

Malayalam: എന്നാൽ ലോത്ത് സൊദോം വിട്ട നാളിൽ ആകാശത്തുനിന്നു തീയും ഗന്ധകവും പെയ്തു എല്ലാവരെയും മുടിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു.

English: Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.

Malayalam: മനുഷ്യപുത്രൻ വെളിപ്പെടുന്ന നാളിൽ അവ്വണ്ണം തന്നേ ആകും.

English: In that day, he which shall be upon the housetop, and his stuff in the house, let him not come down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back.

Malayalam: അന്നു വീട്ടിന്മേൽ ഇരിക്കുന്നവൻ വീട്ടിന്നകത്തുള്ള സാധനം എടുപ്പാൻ ഇറങ്ങിപ്പോകരുതു; അവ്വണം വയലിൽ ഇരിക്കുന്നവനും പിന്നോക്കം തിരിയരുതു.

English: Remember Lot's wife.

Malayalam: ലോത്തിന്റെ ഭാര്യയെ ഓർത്തുകൊൾവിൻ.

English: Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it.

Malayalam: തന്റെ ജീവനെ നേടുവാൻ നോക്കുന്നവനെല്ലാം അതിനെ കളയും; അതിനെ കളയുന്നവനെല്ലാം അതിനെ രക്ഷിക്കും.

English: I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left.

Malayalam: ആ രാത്രിയിൽ രണ്ടുപേർ ഒരു കിടക്കമേൽ ആയിരിക്കും; ഒരുത്തനെ കൈക്കൊള്ളും; മറ്റവനെ ഉപേക്ഷിക്കും.

English: Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

Malayalam: രണ്ടുപേർ ഒന്നിച്ചു പൊടിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കും; ഒരുത്തിയെ കൈക്കൊള്ളും;

English: Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

Malayalam: മറ്റവളെ ഉപേക്ഷിക്കും (രണ്ടുപേർ വയലിൽ ഇരിക്കും; ഒരുത്തനെ കൈക്കൊള്ളും; മറ്റവനെ ഉപേക്ഷിക്കും)” എന്നു ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു.

English: And they answered and said unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Where ever the body is, thither will the eagles be gathered together.

Malayalam: അവർ അവനോടു: കർത്താവേ, എവിടെ എന്നു ചോദിച്ചതിന്നു: “ശവം ഉള്ളേടത്തു കഴുക്കൾ കൂടും” എന്നു അവൻ പറഞ്ഞു.
