Job 33

English: Wherefore, Job, I pray you, hear my speeches, and hearken to all my words.

Malayalam: എങ്കിലോ ഇയ്യോബേ, എന്റെ ഭാഷണം കേട്ടുകൊൾക; എന്റെ സകലവാക്കുകളും ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചുകൊൾക.

English: Behold, now I have opened my mouth, my tongue has spoken in my mouth.

Malayalam: ഇതാ, ഞാൻ ഇപ്പോൾ എന്റെ വായ്തുറക്കുന്നു; എന്റെ വായിൽ എന്റെ നാവു സംസാരിക്കുന്നു.

English: My words shall be of the uprightness of my heart: and my lips shall utter knowledge clearly.

Malayalam: എന്റെ വചനങ്ങൾ എന്റെ ഉള്ളിലെ നേർ ഉച്ചരിക്കും. എന്റെ അധരങ്ങൾ അറിയുന്നതു അവ പരമാർത്ഥമായി പ്രസ്താവിക്കും.

English: The spirit of God has made me, and the breath of the Almighty has given me life.

Malayalam: ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ആത്മാവു എന്നെ സൃഷ്ടിച്ചു; സർവ്വശക്തന്റെ ശ്വാസം എനിക്കു ജീവനെ തരുന്നു.

English: If you can answer me, set your words in order before me, stand up.

Malayalam: നിനക്കു കഴിയുമെങ്കിൽ എന്നോടു പ്രതിവാദിക്ക; സന്നദ്ധനായി എന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ നിന്നുകൊൾക.

English: Behold, I am according to your wish in God's position: I also am formed out of the clay.

Malayalam: ഇതാ, നിന്നെപ്പോലെ ഞാനും ദൈവത്തിന്നുള്ളവൻ; എന്നെയും മണ്ണുകൊണ്ടു നിർമ്മിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

English: Behold, my terror shall not make you afraid, neither shall my hand be heavy upon you.

Malayalam: എന്റെ ഭീഷണി നിന്നെ ഭയപ്പെടുത്തുകയില്ല; എന്റെ ഘനം നിനക്കു ഭാരമായിരിക്കയുമില്ല.

English: Surely you have spoken in mine hearing, and I have heard the voice of your words, saying,

Malayalam: ഞാൻ കേൾക്കെ നീ പറഞ്ഞതും നിന്റെ വാക്കു ഞാൻ കേട്ടതും എന്തെന്നാൽ:

English: I am clean without transgression, I am innocent; neither is there iniquity in me.

Malayalam: ഞാൻ ലംഘനം ഇല്ലാത്ത നിർമ്മലൻ; ഞാൻ നിർദ്ദോഷി; എന്നിൽ അകൃത്യവുമില്ല.

English: Behold, he finds occasions against me, he counts me for his enemy,

Malayalam: അവൻ എന്റെ നേരെ വിരുദ്ധങ്ങളെ കണ്ടു പിടിക്കുന്നു; എന്നെ തനിക്കു ശത്രുവായി വിചാരിക്കുന്നു.

English: He puts my feet in the stocks, he marks all my paths.

Malayalam: അവൻ എന്റെ കാലുകളെ ആമത്തിൽ ഇടുന്നു; എന്റെ പാതകളെ ഒക്കെയും സൂക്ഷിച്ചുനോക്കുന്നു.

English: Behold, in this you are not just: I will answer you, that God is greater than man.

Malayalam: ഇതിന്നു ഞൻ നിന്നോടു ഉത്തരം പറയാം: ഇതിൽ നീ നീതിമാൻ അല്ല; ദൈവം മനുഷ്യനെക്കാൾ വലിയവനല്ലോ.

English: Why do you strive against him? for he gives not account of any of his matters.

Malayalam: നീ അവനോടു എന്തിന്നു വാദിക്കുന്നു? തന്റെ കാര്യങ്ങളിൽ ഒന്നിന്നും അവൻ കാരണം പറയുന്നില്ലല്ലോ.

English: For God speaks once, yea twice, yet man perceives it not.

Malayalam: ഒന്നോ രണ്ടോ വട്ടം ദൈവം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു; മനുഷ്യൻ അതു കൂട്ടാക്കുന്നില്ലതാനും.

English: In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falls upon men, in slumberings upon the bed;

Malayalam: ഗാഢനിദ്ര മനുഷ്യർക്കുണ്ടാകുമ്പോൾ, അവർ ശയ്യമേൽ നിദ്രകൊള്ളുമ്പോൾ, സ്വപ്നത്തിൽ, രാത്രിദർശനത്തിൽ തന്നേ,

English: Then he opens the ears of men, and seals their instruction,

Malayalam: അവൻ മനുഷ്യരുടെ ചെവി തുറക്കുന്നു; അവരോടുള്ള പ്രബോധനെക്കു മുദ്രയിടുന്നു.

English: That he may withdraw man from his purpose, and hide pride from man.

Malayalam: മനുഷ്യനെ അവന്റെ ദുഷ്കർമ്മത്തിൽനിന്നു അകറ്റുവാനും പുരുഷനെ ഗർവ്വത്തിൽനിന്നു രക്ഷിപ്പാനും തന്നേ.

English: He keeps back his soul from the pit, and his life from perishing by the sword.

Malayalam: അവൻ കുഴിയിൽനിന്നു അവന്റെ പ്രാണനെയും വാളാൽ നശിക്കാതവണ്ണം അവന്റെ ജീവനെയും കാക്കുന്നു.

English: He is chastened also with pain upon his bed, and the multitude of his bones with strong pain:

Malayalam: തന്റെ കിടക്കമേൽ അവൻ വേദനയാൽ ശിക്ഷിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു; അവന്റെ അസ്ഥികളിൽ ഇടവിടാതെ പോരാട്ടം ഉണ്ടു.

English: So that his life detests bread, and his soul dainty food.

Malayalam: അതുകൊണ്ടു അവന്റെ ജീവൻ അപ്പവും അവന്റെ പ്രാണൻ സ്വാദുഭോജനവും വെറുക്കുന്നു.

English: His flesh is consumed away, that it cannot be seen; and his bones that were not seen stick out.

Malayalam: അവന്റെ മാംസം ക്ഷയിച്ചു കാണ്മാനില്ലാതെയായിരിക്കുന്നു; കാണ്മാനില്ലാതിരുന്ന അവന്റെ അസ്ഥികൾ പൊങ്ങിനില്ക്കുന്നു.

English: Yea, his soul draws near unto the grave, and his life to the destroyers.

Malayalam: അവന്റെ പ്രാണൻ ശവക്കുഴിക്കും അവന്റെ ജീവൻ നാശകന്മാർക്കും അടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

English: If there be a messenger with him, an interpreter, one among a thousand, to show unto man his uprightness:

Malayalam: മനുഷ്യനോടു അവന്റെ ധർമ്മം അറിയിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ആയിരത്തിൽ ഒരുത്തനായി മദ്ധ്യസ്ഥനായോരു ദൂതൻ അവന്നു വേണ്ടി ഉണ്ടെന്നുവരികിൽ

English: Then he is gracious unto him, and says, Deliver him from going down to the pit: I have found a ransom.

Malayalam: അവൻ അവങ്കൽ കൃപ വിചാരിച്ചു: കുഴിയിൽ ഇറങ്ങാതവണ്ണം ഇവനെ രക്ഷിക്കേണമേ; ഞാൻ ഒരു മറുവില കണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറയും

English: His flesh shall be fresher than a child's: he shall return to the days of his youth:

Malayalam: അപ്പോൾ അവന്റെ ദേഹം യൌവനചൈതന്യത്താൽ പുഷ്ടിവെക്കും; അവൻ ബാല്യപ്രായത്തിലേക്കു തിരിഞ്ഞുവരും.

English: He shall pray unto God, and he will be favourable unto him: and he shall see his face with joy: for he will render unto man his righteousness.

Malayalam: അവൻ ദൈവത്തോടു പ്രാർത്ഥിക്കും; അവൻ അവങ്കൽ പ്രസാദിക്കും; തിരുമുഖത്തെ അവൻ സന്തോഷത്തോടെ കാണും; അവൻ മനുഷ്യന്നു അവന്റെ നീതിയെ പകരം കൊടുക്കും.

English: He looks upon men, and if any say, I have sinned, and perverted that which was right, and it profited me not;

Malayalam: അവൻ മനുഷ്യരുടെ മുമ്പിൽ പാടി പറയുന്നതു: ഞാൻ പാപം ചെയ്തു നേരായുള്ളതു മറിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു; അതിന്നു എന്നോടു പകരം ചെയ്തിട്ടില്ല.

English: He will deliver his soul from going into the pit, and his life shall see the light.

Malayalam: അവൻ എന്റെ പ്രാണനെ കുഴിയിൽ ഇറങ്ങാതവണ്ണം രക്ഷിച്ചു; എന്റെ ജീവൻ പ്രകാശത്തെ കണ്ടു സന്തോഷിക്കുന്നു.

English: Lo, all these things works God oftentimes with man,

Malayalam: ഇതാ, ദൈവം രണ്ടു മൂന്നു പ്രാവശ്യം ഇവയൊക്കെയും മനുഷ്യനോടു ചെയ്യുന്നു.

English: To bring back his soul from the pit, to be enlightened with the light of the living.

Malayalam: അവന്റെ പ്രാണനെ കുഴിയിൽനിന്നു കരേറ്റേണ്ടതിന്നും ജീവന്റെ പ്രകാശംകൊണ്ടു അവനെ പ്രകാശിപ്പിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നും തന്നേ.

English: Mark well, O Job, hearken unto me: hold your peace, and I will speak.

Malayalam: ഇയ്യോബേ, ശ്രദ്ധവെച്ചു കേൾക്ക; മിണ്ടാതെയിരിക്ക; ഞാൻ സംസാരിക്കാം.

English: If you have anything to say, answer me: speak, for I desire to justify you.

Malayalam: നിനക്കു ഉത്തരം പറവാനുണ്ടെങ്കിൽ പറക; സംസാരിക്ക; നിന്നെ നീതീകരിപ്പാൻ ആകുന്നു എന്റെ താല്പര്യം.

English: If not, hearken unto me: hold your peace, and I shall teach you wisdom.

Malayalam: ഇല്ലെന്നുവരികിൽ, നീ എന്റെ വാക്കു കേൾക്ക; മിണ്ടാതിരിക്ക; ഞാൻ നിനക്കു ജ്ഞാനം ഉപദേശിച്ചുതരാം.
