Job 30

English: But now they that are younger than I have me in derision, whose fathers I would have disdained to have set with the dogs of my flock.

Malayalam: ഇപ്പോഴോ എന്നിലും പ്രായം കുറഞ്ഞവർ എന്നെ നോക്കി ചിരിക്കുന്നു; അവരുടെ അപ്പന്മാരെ എന്റെ ആട്ടിൻ കൂട്ടത്തിന്റെ നായ്ക്കളോടുകൂടെ ആക്കുവാൻ പോലും ഞാൻ നിരസിക്കുമായിരുന്നു.

English: Yea, whereto might the strength of their hands profit me, in whom old age was perished?

Malayalam: അവരുടെ കയ്യൂറ്റംകൊണ്ടു എനിക്കെന്തു പ്രയോജനം? അവരുടെ യൌവനശക്തി നശിച്ചുപോയല്ലോ.

English: For lack and famine they were solitary; fleeing into the wilderness in former time desolate and waste.

Malayalam: ബുദ്ധിമുട്ടും വിശപ്പുംകൊണ്ടു അവർ മെലിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു; ശൂന്യത്തിന്റെയും നിർജ്ജനദേശത്തിന്റെയും ഇരുട്ടിൽ അവർ വരണ്ട നിലം കടിച്ചുകാരുന്നു.

English: Who cut up mallows by the bushes, and juniper roots for their food.

Malayalam: അവർ കുറുങ്കാട്ടിൽ മണൽചീര പറിക്കുന്നു; കാട്ടുകിഴങ്ങു അവർക്കു ആഹാരമായിരിക്കുന്നു.

English: They were driven forth from among men, (they cried after them as after a thief;)

Malayalam: ജനമദ്ധ്യേനിന്നു അവരെ ഓടിച്ചുകളയുന്നു; കള്ളനെപ്പോലെ അവരെ ആട്ടിക്കളയുന്നു.

English: To dwell in the cliffs of the valleys, in caves of the earth, and in the rocks.

Malayalam: താഴ്വരപ്പിളർപ്പുകളിൽ അവർ പാർക്കേണ്ടിവരുന്നു; മൺകുഴികളിലും പാറയുടെ ഗഹ്വരങ്ങളിലും തന്നേ.

English: Among the bushes they brayed; under the nettles they were gathered together.

Malayalam: കുറുങ്കാട്ടിൽ അവർ കതറുന്നു; തൂവയുടെ കീഴെ അവർ ഒന്നിച്ചുകൂടുന്നു.

English: They were children of fools, yea, children of base men: they were viler than the earth.

Malayalam: അവർ ഭോഷന്മാരുടെ മക്കൾ, നീചന്മാരുടെ മക്കൾ; അവരെ ദേശത്തുനിന്നു ചമ്മട്ടികൊണ്ടു അടിച്ചോടിക്കുന്നു.

English: And now am I their song, yea, I am their byword.

Malayalam: ഇപ്പോഴോ ഞാൻ അവരുടെ പാട്ടായിരിക്കുന്നു; അവർക്കു പഴഞ്ചൊല്ലായിത്തീർന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.

English: They detest me, they flee far from me, and spare not to spit in my face.

Malayalam: അവർ എന്നെ അറെച്ചു അകന്നുനില്ക്കുന്നു; എന്നെ കണ്ടു തുപ്പുവാൻ ശങ്കിക്കുന്നില്ല.

English: Because he has loosed my cord, and afflicted me, they have also let loose the bridle before me.

Malayalam: അവൻ തന്റെ കയറു അഴിച്ചു എന്നെ ക്ളേശിപ്പിച്ചതുകൊണ്ടു അവർ എന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ കടിഞ്ഞാൺ അയച്ചു വിട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.

English: Upon my right hand rise the youth; they push away my feet, and they raise up against me the ways of their destruction.

Malayalam: വലത്തുഭാഗത്തു നീചപരിഷ എഴുന്നേറ്റു എന്റെ കാൽ ഉന്തുന്നു; അവർ നാശമാർഗ്ഗങ്ങളെ എന്റെ നേരെ നിരത്തുന്നു.

English: They ruin my path, they set forward my calamity, they have no helper.

Malayalam: അവർ എന്റെ പാതയെ നശിപ്പിക്കുന്നു; അവർ തന്നേ തുണയറ്റവർ ആയിരിക്കെ എന്റെ അപായത്തിന്നായി ശ്രമിക്കുന്നു.

English: They came upon me as a wide breaking in of waters: in the desolation they rolled themselves upon me.

Malayalam: വിസ്താരമുള്ള തുറവിൽകൂടി എന്നപോലെ അവർ ആക്രമിച്ചുവരുന്നു; ഇടിവിന്റെ നടുവിൽ അവർ എന്റെ മേൽ ഉരുണ്ടുകയറുന്നു.

English: Terrors are turned upon me: they pursue my soul as the wind: and my welfare passes away as a cloud.

Malayalam: ഘോരത്വങ്ങൾ എന്റെ നേരെ തിരിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു; കാറ്റുപോലെ എന്റെ മഹത്വത്തെ പാറ്റിക്കളയുന്നു; എന്റെ ക്ഷേമവും മേഘംപോലെ കടന്നു പോകുന്നു.

English: And now my soul is poured out upon me; the days of affliction have taken hold upon me.

Malayalam: ഇപ്പോൾ എന്റെ പ്രാണൻ എന്റെ ഉള്ളിൽ തൂകിപ്പോകുന്നു; കഷ്ടകാലം എന്നെ പിടിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

English: My bones are pierced in me in the night season: and my sinews take no rest.

Malayalam: രാത്രി എന്റെ അസ്ഥികളെ തുളച്ചെടുത്തുകളയുന്നു; എന്നെ കടിച്ചുകാരുന്നവർ ഉറങ്ങുന്നതുമില്ല.

English: By the great force of my disease is my garment changed: it binds me about as the collar of my coat.

Malayalam: ഉഗ്രബലത്താൽ എന്റെ വസ്ത്രം വിരൂപമായിരിക്കുന്നു; അങ്കിയുടെ കഴുത്തുപോലെ എന്നോടു പറ്റിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

English: He has cast me into the mire, and I am become like dust and ashes.

Malayalam: അവൻ എന്നെ ചെളിയിൽ ഇട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; ഞാൻ പൊടിക്കും ചാരത്തിന്നും തുല്യമായിരിക്കുന്നു.

English: I cry unto you, and you do not hear me: I stand up, and you regard me not.

Malayalam: ഞാൻ നിന്നോടു നിലവിളിക്കുന്നു; നീ ഉത്തരം അരുളുന്നില്ല; ഞാൻ എഴുന്നേറ്റു നില്ക്കുന്നു; നീ എന്നെ തുറിച്ചുനോക്കുന്നതേയുള്ളു.

English: You are become cruel to me: with your strong hand you oppose yourself against me.

Malayalam: നീ എന്റെ നേരെ ക്രൂരനായിത്തീർന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; നിന്റെ കയ്യുടെ ശക്തിയാൽ നീ എന്നെ പീഡിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.

English: You lift me up to the wind; you cause me to ride upon it, and dissolve my substance.

Malayalam: നീ എന്നെ കാറ്റിൻ പുറത്തു കയറ്റി ഓടിക്കുന്നു; കൊടുങ്കാറ്റിൽ നീ എന്നെ ലയിപ്പിച്ചുകളയുന്നു.

English: For I know that you will bring me to death, and to the house appointed for all living.

Malayalam: മരണത്തിലേക്കും സകലജീവികളും ചെന്നു ചേരുന്ന വീട്ടിലേക്കും നീ എന്നെ കൊണ്ടുപോകുമെന്നു ഞാൻ അറിയുന്നു.

English: Nevertheless he will not stretch out his hand to the grave, though they cry in his destruction.

Malayalam: എങ്കിലും വീഴുമ്പോൾ കൈ നീട്ടുകയില്ലയോ? അപായത്തിൽ അതു നിമിത്തം നിലവിളിക്കയില്ലയോ?

English: Did not I weep for him that was in trouble? was not my soul grieved for the poor?

Malayalam: കഷ്ടകാലം വന്നവന്നു വേണ്ടി ഞാൻ കരഞ്ഞിട്ടില്ലയോ? എളിയവന്നു വേണ്ടി എന്റെ മനസ്സു വ്യസനിച്ചിട്ടില്ലയോ?

English: When I looked for good, then evil came unto me: and when I waited for light, there came darkness.

Malayalam: ഞാൻ നന്മെക്കു നോക്കിയിരുന്നപ്പോൾ തിന്മവന്നു വെളിച്ചത്തിന്നായി കാത്തിരുന്നപ്പോൾ ഇരുട്ടുവന്നു.

English: My bowels boiled, and rested not: the days of affliction prevented me.

Malayalam: എന്റെ കുടൽ അമരാതെ തിളെക്കുന്നു; കഷ്ടകാലം എനിക്കു വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.

English: I went mourning without the sun: I stood up, and I cried in the congregation.

Malayalam: ഞാൻ കറുത്തവനായി നടക്കുന്നു; വെയിൽ കൊണ്ടല്ലതാനും. ഞാൻ സഭയിൽ എഴുന്നേറ്റു നിലവിളിക്കുന്നു.

English: I am a brother to dragons, and a companion to owls.

Malayalam: ഞാൻ കുറുക്കന്മാർക്കു സഹോദരനും ഒട്ടകപ്പക്ഷികൾക്കു കൂട്ടാളിയും ആയിരിക്കുന്നു.

English: My skin is black upon me, and my bones are burned with heat.

Malayalam: എന്റെ ത്വക്ക് കറുത്തു പൊളിഞ്ഞുവീഴുന്നു; എന്റെ അസ്ഥി ഉഷ്ണംകൊണ്ടു കരിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു.

English: My harp also is turned to mourning, and my organ into the voice of them that weep.

Malayalam: എന്റെ കിന്നരനാദം വിലാപമായും എന്റെ കുഴലൂത്തു കരച്ചലായും തീർന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.
