Job 27

English: Moreover Job continued his parable, and said,

Malayalam: ഇയ്യോബ് തന്റെ സുഭാഷിതം തുടർന്നു ചൊല്ലിയതെന്തെന്നാൽ:

English: As God lives, who has taken away my judgment; and the Almighty, who has vexed my soul;

Malayalam: എന്റെ ന്യായം നീക്കിക്കളഞ്ഞ ദൈവത്താണ, എനിക്കു മനോവ്യസനം വരുത്തിയ സർവ്വശക്തനാണ--

English: All the while my breath is in me, and the spirit of God is in my nostrils;

Malayalam: എന്റെ പ്രാണൻ മുഴുവനും എന്നിലും ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ശ്വാസം എന്റെ മൂക്കിലും ഉണ്ടല്ലോ--

English: My lips shall not speak wickedness, nor my tongue utter deceit.

Malayalam: എന്റെ അധരം നീതികേടു സംസാരിക്കയില്ല; എന്റെ നാവു വ്യാജം ഉച്ചരിക്കയുമില്ല.

English: God forbid that I should justify you: till I die I will not remove mine integrity from me.

Malayalam: നിങ്ങളുടെ വാദം ഞാൻ ഒരുനാളും സമ്മതിക്കയില്ല; മരിക്കുവോളം എന്റെ നിഷ്കളങ്കത്വം ഉപേക്ഷിക്കയുമില്ല.

English: My righteousness I hold fast, and will not let it go: my heart shall not reproach me so long as I live.

Malayalam: എന്റെ നീതി ഞാൻ വിടാതെ മുറുകെ പിടിക്കുന്നു; എന്റെ ഹൃദയം എന്റെ നാളുകളിൽ ഒന്നിനെയും ആക്ഷേപിക്കുന്നില്ല.

English: Let mine enemy be as the wicked, and he that rises up against me as the unrighteous.

Malayalam: എന്റെ ശത്രു ദുഷ്ടനെപ്പോലെയും എന്റെ എതിരാളി നീതികെട്ടവനെപ്പോലെയും ആകട്ടെ.

English: For what is the hope of the hypocrite, though he has gained, when God takes away his soul?

Malayalam: ദൈവം വഷളനെ ഛേദിച്ചു അവന്റെ പ്രാണനെ എടുത്തുകളഞ്ഞാൽ അവന്നു എന്തു പ്രത്യാശ ശേഷിപ്പുള്ളു?

English: Will God hear his cry when trouble comes upon him?

Malayalam: അവന്നു കഷ്ടത വരുമ്പോൾ ദൈവം അവന്റെ നിലവിളി കേൾക്കുമോ?

English: Will he delight himself in the Almighty? will he always call upon God?

Malayalam: അവൻ സർവ്വശക്തനിൽ ആനന്ദിക്കുമോ? എല്ലാകാലത്തും ദൈവത്തെ വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിക്കുമോ?

English: I will teach you by the hand of God: that which is with the Almighty will I not conceal.

Malayalam: ദൈവത്തിന്റെ കയ്യെക്കുറിച്ചു ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ ഉപദേശിക്കും; സർവ്വശക്തന്റെ ആന്തരം ഞാൻ മറെച്ചുവെക്കയില്ല.

English: Behold, all you yourselves have seen it; why then are all of you thus altogether vain?

Malayalam: നിങ്ങൾ എല്ലാവരും അതു കണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; നിങ്ങൾ വ്യർത്ഥബുദ്ധികളായിരിക്കുന്നതെന്തു?

English: This is the portion of a wicked man with God, and the heritage of oppressors, which they shall receive of the Almighty.

Malayalam: ഇതു ദുർജ്ജനത്തിന്നു ദൈവത്തിന്റെ പക്കലുള്ള ഓഹരിയും നിഷ്ഠൂരന്മാർ സർവ്വശക്തങ്കൽനിന്നു പ്രാപിക്കുന്ന അവകാശവും തന്നേ.

English: If his children be multiplied, it is for the sword: and his offspring shall not be satisfied with bread.

Malayalam: അവന്റെ മക്കൾ പെരുകിയാൽ അതു വാളിന്നായിട്ടത്രേ; അവന്റെ സന്തതി അപ്പം തിന്നു തൃപ്തരാകയില്ല.

English: Those that remain of him shall be buried in death: and his widows shall not weep.

Malayalam: അവന്നു ശേഷിച്ചവർ മഹാമാരിയാൽ കുഴിയിൽ ആകും; അവന്റെ വിധവമാർ വിലപിക്കയുമില്ല.

English: Though he heap up silver as the dust, and prepare raiment as the clay;

Malayalam: അവൻ പൊടിപോലെ വെള്ളി സ്വരൂപിച്ചാലും മണ്ണുപോലെ വസ്ത്രം സമ്പാദിച്ചാലും

English: He may prepare it, but the just shall put it on, and the innocent shall divide the silver.

Malayalam: അവൻ സമ്പാദിച്ചു എന്നേയുള്ളു; നീതിമാൻ അതു ഉടുക്കും; കുറ്റമില്ലാത്തവൻ വെള്ളി പങ്കിടും.

English: He builds his house as a moth, and as a booth that the keeper makes.

Malayalam: ചെലന്തിയെപ്പോലെ അവൻ വീടുപണിയുന്നു; കാവൽക്കാരൻ മാടം കെട്ടുന്നതുപോലെ തന്നേ.

English: The rich man shall lie down, but he shall not be gathered: he opens his eyes, and he is not.

Malayalam: അവൻ ധനവാനായി കിടക്കുന്നു; പിന്നെ അങ്ങനെ ചെയ്കയില്ല; അവൻ കണ്ണു തുറക്കുന്നു; ഇല്ലാതെയാകുന്നു.

English: Terrors take hold on him as waters, a tempest steals him away in the night.

Malayalam: വെള്ളംപോലെ ഭയം അവനെ പിടിക്കുന്നു; രാത്രിയിൽ കൊടുങ്കാറ്റു അവനെ കവർന്നു കൊണ്ടുപോകുന്നു.

English: The east wind carries him away, and he departs: and as a storm hurls him out of his place.

Malayalam: കിഴക്കൻ കാറ്റു അവനെ പിടിച്ചിട്ടു അവൻ പൊയ്പോകുന്നു. അവന്റെ സ്ഥലത്തുനിന്നു അതു അവനെ പാറ്റിക്കളയുന്നു.

English: For God shall cast upon him, and not spare: he would fain flee out of his hand.

Malayalam: ദൈവം ആദരിയാതെ അവനെ എയ്യുന്നു; തൃക്കയ്യിൽനിന്നു ചാടിപ്പോകുവാൻ അവൻ നോക്കുന്നു.

English: Men shall clap their hands at him, and shall hiss him out of his place.

Malayalam: മനുഷ്യർ അവന്റെ നേരെ കൈകൊട്ടും: അവന്റെ സ്ഥലത്തുനിന്നു അവനെ വിരട്ടി പുറത്താക്കും.
