Jeremiah 22

English: Thus says the LORD; Go down to the house of the king of Judah, and speak there this word,

Malayalam: യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: നീ യെഹൂദാരാജാവിന്റെ അരമനയിൽ ചെന്നു, അവിടെ ഈ വചനം പ്രസ്താവിക്ക:

English: And say, Hear the word of the LORD, O king of Judah, that sit upon the throne of David, you, and your servants, and your people that enter in by these gates:

Malayalam: ദാവീദിന്റെ സിംഹാസനത്തിൽ ഇരിക്കുന്ന യെഹൂദാരാജാവേ, നീയും നിന്റെ ഭൃത്യന്മാരും ഈ വാതിലുകളിൽകൂടി കടക്കുന്ന നിന്റെ ജനവും യഹോവയുടെ വചനം കേട്ടുകൊൾവിൻ!

English: Thus says the LORD; Execute all of you judgment and righteousness, and deliver the spoiled out of the hand of the oppressor: and do no wrong, do no violence to the stranger, the fatherless, nor the widow, neither shed innocent blood in this place.

Malayalam: യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: നിങ്ങൾ നീതിയും ന്യായവും നടത്തി, കവർച്ചയായി ഭവിച്ചവനെ പീഡകന്റെ കയ്യിൽനിന്നു വിടുവിപ്പിൻ; പരദേശിയോടും അനാഥനോടും വിധവയോടും അന്യായവും ബലാൽക്കാരവും ചെയ്യരുതു; ഈ സ്ഥലത്തു കുറ്റമില്ലാത്ത രക്തം ചൊരികയും അരുതു.

English: For if all of you do this thing indeed, then shall there enter in by the gates of this house kings sitting upon the throne of David, riding in chariots and on horses, he, and his servants, and his people.

Malayalam: നിങ്ങൾ ഈ വചനം അനുഷ്ഠിച്ചാൽ ദാവീദിന്റെ സിംഹാസനത്തിൽ ഇരിക്കുന്നവരും രഥങ്ങളിലും കുതിരപ്പുറത്തും കയറുന്നവരുമായ രാജാക്കന്മാരും അവരുടെ ഭൃത്യന്മാരും പ്രജകളും ഈ അരമനയുടെ വാതിലുകളിൽകൂടി കടക്കും.

English: But if all of you will not hear these words, I swear by myself, says the LORD, that this house shall become a desolation.

Malayalam: ഈ വചനം കേട്ടനുസരിക്കയില്ലെങ്കിലോ, ഈ അരമന ശൂന്യമായ്പോകുമെന്നു ഞാൻ എന്നെച്ചൊല്ലി സത്യം ചെയ്യുന്നു എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

English: For thus says the LORD unto the king's house of Judah; You are Gilead unto me, and the head of Lebanon: yet surely I will make you a wilderness, and cities which are not inhabited.

Malayalam: യെഹൂദാരാജാവിന്റെ അരമനയോടു യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: നീ ഗിലെയാദും ലെബാനോന്റെ ശിഖരവും ആകുന്നു; എങ്കിലും ഞാൻ നിന്നെ ഒരു മരുഭൂമിയും നിവാസികളില്ലാത്ത പട്ടണങ്ങളും ആക്കും.

English: And I will prepare destroyers against you, every one with his weapons: and they shall cut down your choice cedars, and cast them into the fire.

Malayalam: ഞാൻ ആയുധപാണികളായ സംഹാരകന്മാരെ നിന്റെ നേരെ സംഭരിക്കും; അവർ നിന്റെ വിശിഷ്ടദേവദാരുക്കളെ വെട്ടി തീയിൽ ഇട്ടുകളയും.

English: And many nations shall pass by this city, and they shall say every man to his neighbour, Wherefore has the LORD done thus unto this great city?

Malayalam: അനേകം ജാതികളും ഈ നഗരംവഴി കടന്നു പോകുമ്പോൾ, ഓരോരുത്തൻ താന്താന്റെ കൂട്ടുകാരനോടു: ഈ മഹാനഗരത്തോടു യഹോവ ഇങ്ങനെ ചെയ്തതെന്തു എന്നു ചോദിക്കയും

English: Then they shall answer, Because they have forsaken the covenant of the LORD their God, and worshipped other gods, and served them.

Malayalam: അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ നിയമം ഉപേക്ഷിച്ചു അന്യദേവന്മാരെ നമസ്കരിച്ചു സേവിച്ചതുകൊണ്ടുതന്നേ എന്നുത്തരം പറകയും ചെയ്യും.

English: Weep all of you not for the dead, neither lament for him: but weep sore for him that goes away: for he shall return no more, nor see his native country.

Malayalam: മരിച്ചവനെക്കുറിച്ചു കരയേണ്ടാ, അവനെക്കുറിച്ചു വിലപിക്കയും വേണ്ടാ; നാടുവിട്ടു പോകേണ്ടിവരുന്നവനെക്കുറിച്ചു തന്നേ കരവിൻ; അവൻ മടങ്ങിവരികയില്ല; ജന്മദേശം ഇനി കാണുകയുമില്ല.

English: For thus says the LORD concerning Shallum the son of Josiah king of Judah, which reigned instead of Josiah his father, which went forth out of this place; He shall not return thither any more:

Malayalam: തന്റെ അപ്പനായ യോശീയാവിന്നു പകരം വാണിട്ടു ഈ സ്ഥലം വിട്ടുപോയവനായി യോശീയാവിന്റെ മകനും യെഹൂദാരാജാവുമായ ശല്ലൂമിനെക്കുറിച്ചു യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: അവൻ ഇവിടേക്കു മടങ്ങിവരികയില്ല.

English: But he shall die in the place where they have led him captive, and shall see this land no more.

Malayalam: അവനെ ബദ്ധനാക്കി കൊണ്ടുചെന്ന സ്ഥലത്തു വെച്ചു തന്നേ അവൻ മരിക്കും; ഈ ദേശം അവൻ ഇനി കാണുകയുമില്ല.

English: Woe unto him that builds his house by unrighteousness, and his chambers by wrong; that uses his neighbour's service without wages, and gives him not for his work;

Malayalam: നീതികേടുകൊണ്ടു അരമനയും അന്യായം കൊണ്ടു മാളികയും പണിതു, കൂട്ടുകാരനെക്കൊണ്ടു വേല ചെയ്യിച്ചു കൂലി കൊടുക്കാതിരിക്കയും

English: That says, I will build me a wide house and large chambers, and cuts him out windows; and it is covered over with cedar, and painted with vermilion.

Malayalam: ഞാൻ വിസ്താരമുള്ള അരമനയും വിശാലമായ മാളികയും പണിയും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു കിളിവാതിലുകളെ വീതിയിൽ തീർക്കയും ദേവദാരുകൊണ്ടു തട്ടിടുകയും ചായില്യംകൊണ്ടു ചായം ഇടുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നവന്നു അയ്യോ കഷ്ടം!

English: Shall you reign, because you close yourself in cedar? did not your father eat and drink, and do judgment and justice, and then it was well with him?

Malayalam: ദേവദാരുകൊണ്ടു മികെച്ചവനാകുവാൻ ശ്രമിക്കുന്നതിനാൽ നീ രാജാവായി വാഴുമോ? നിന്റെ അപ്പനും ഭക്ഷണപാനീയങ്ങൾ കഴിച്ചില്ലയോ? എന്നാൽ അവൻ നീതിയും ന്യായവും നടത്താതിരുന്നില്ല; അന്നു അവന്നു നന്നായിരുന്നു.

English: He judged the cause of the poor and needy; then it was well with him: was not this to know me? says the LORD.

Malayalam: അവൻ എളിയവന്നും ദരിദ്രന്നും ന്യായം പാലിച്ചുകൊടുത്തു; അന്നു അവന്നു നന്നായിരുന്നു; ഇതല്ലയോ എന്നെ അറിക എന്നുള്ളതു? എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

English: But yours eyes and yours heart are not but for your covetousness, and in order to shed innocent blood, and for oppression, and for violence, to do it.

Malayalam: എന്നാൽ നിന്റെ കണ്ണും മനസ്സും അത്യാഗ്രഹം നിവർത്തിക്ക, കുറ്റമില്ലാത്ത രക്തം ചൊരിക, പീഡനവും സാഹസവും ചെയ്ക എന്നിവയിലേക്കല്ലാതെ മറ്റൊന്നിലേക്കും ചെല്ലുന്നില്ല.

English: Therefore thus says the LORD concerning Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah; They shall not lament for him, saying, Ah my brother! or, Ah sister! they shall not lament for him, saying, Ah lord! or, Ah his glory!

Malayalam: അതുകൊണ്ടു യഹോവ യോശീയാവിന്റെ മകനായി യെഹൂദാരാജാവായ യെഹോയാക്കീമിനെക്കുറിച്ചു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: അവനെക്കുറിച്ചു അവർ: അയ്യോ സഹോദരാ, അയ്യോ സഹോദരീ എന്നു ചൊല്ലി വിലപിക്കയില്ല; അവനെക്കുറിച്ചു: അയ്യോ തമ്പുരാനേ, അയ്യോ തിരുമേനീ എന്നു ചൊല്ലി വിലപിക്കയുമില്ല.

English: He shall be buried with the burial of an ass, drawn and cast forth beyond the gates of Jerusalem.

Malayalam: യെരൂശലേമിന്റെ പടിവാതിലുകൾക്കു പുറത്തു അവനെ വലിച്ചെറിഞ്ഞു ഒരു കഴുതയെ കുഴിച്ചിടുന്നതുപോലെ അവനെ കുഴിച്ചിടും.

English: Go up to Lebanon, and cry; and lift up your voice in Bashan, and cry from the passages: for all your lovers are destroyed.

Malayalam: ലെബാനോനിൽ കയറിച്ചെന്നു നിലവിളിക്ക; ബാശാനിൽനിന്നു നിന്റെ ശബ്ദം ഉയർത്തുക; അബാരീമിൽനിന്നു നിലവിളിക്ക; നിന്റെ സകല സ്നേഹിയതന്മാരും തകർന്നുകിടക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ.

English: I spoke unto you in your prosperity; but you said, I will not hear. This has been your manner from your youth, that you obeyed not my voice.

Malayalam: നിന്റെ ശുഭകാലത്തു ഞാൻ നിന്നോടു സംസാരിച്ചു; നീയോ: ഞാൻ കേൾക്കയില്ല എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു; എന്റെ വാക്കു അനുസരിക്കാതിരിക്കുന്നതു ബാല്യംമുതൽ നിനക്കുള്ള ശീലം.

English: The wind shall eat up all your pastors, and your lovers shall go into captivity: surely then shall you be ashamed and confounded for all your wickedness.

Malayalam: നിന്നെ മേയിക്കുന്നവരെ ഒക്കെയും കൊടുങ്കാറ്റു മേയിക്കും; നിന്റെ സ്നേഹിതന്മാർ പ്രവാസത്തിലേക്കു പോകും. അപ്പോൾ നീ നിന്റെ സകലദുഷ്ടതയുംനിമിത്തം ലജ്ജിച്ചു അമ്പരന്നുപോകും.

English: O inhabitant of Lebanon, that make your nest in the cedars, how gracious shall you be when pangs come upon you, the pain as of a woman in travail!

Malayalam: ദേവദാരുക്കളിന്മേൽ കൂടുവെച്ചു ലെബാനോനിൽ വസിക്കുന്നവളേ, നിനക്കു വ്യസനവും നോവു കിട്ടിയവളെപ്പോലെ വേദനയും ഉണ്ടാകുമ്പോൾ നീ എത്ര ഞരങ്ങും.

English: As I live, says the LORD, though Coniah the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah were the signet upon my right hand, yet would I pluck you thence;

Malayalam: എന്നാണ, യെഹോയാക്കീമിന്റെ മകനായി യെഹൂദാരാജാവായ കൊന്യാവു എന്റെ വലങ്കൈക്കു ഒരു മുദ്രമോതിരം ആയിരുന്നാലും ഞാൻ നിന്നെ ഊരി എറിഞ്ഞുകളയും എന്നു യഹോയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

English: And I will give you into the hand of them that seek your life, and into the hand of them whose face you fear, even into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, and into the hand of the Chaldeans.

Malayalam: ഞാൻ നിന്നെ നിനക്കു പ്രാണഹാനി വരുത്തുവാൻ നോക്കുന്നവരുടെ കയ്യിലും നീ ഭയപ്പെടുന്നവരുടെ കയ്യിലും ഏല്പിക്കും; ബാബേൽരാജാവായ നെബൂഖദ് നേസരിന്റെ കയ്യിലും കല്ദയരുടെ കയ്യിലും തന്നേ.

English: And I will cast you out, and your mother that bare you, into another country, where all of you were not born; and there shall all of you die.

Malayalam: ഞാൻ നിന്നെയും നിന്നെ പ്രസവിച്ച അമ്മയെയും നിങ്ങൾ ജനിച്ചതല്ലാത്ത അന്യദേശത്തിലേക്കു തള്ളിക്കളയും; അവിടെവെച്ചു നിങ്ങൾ മരിക്കും.

English: But to the land unto which they desire to return, thither shall they not return.

Malayalam: അവർ മടങ്ങിവരുവാൻ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്ന ദേശത്തേക്കു അവർ മടങ്ങിവരികയില്ല.

English: Is this man Coniah a despised broken idol? is he a vessel wherein is no pleasure? wherefore are they cast out, he and his seed, and are cast into a land which they know not?

Malayalam: കൊന്യാവു എന്ന ഈ ആൾ, സാരമില്ല എന്നുവെച്ചു ഉടെച്ചുകളഞ്ഞൊരു കലമോ? ആർക്കും ഇഷ്ടമില്ലാത്ത പാത്രമോ? അവനെയും അവന്റെ സന്തതിയെയും ത്യജിച്ചു, അവർ അറിയാത്ത ദേശത്തേക്കു തള്ളിക്കളവാൻ സംഗതി എന്തു?

English: O earth, earth, earth, hear the word of the LORD.

Malayalam: ദേശമേ, ദേശമേ, ദേശമേ, യഹോവയുടെ വചനം കേൾക്ക!

English: Thus says the LORD, Write all of you this man childless, a man that shall not prosper in his days: for no man of his seed shall prosper, sitting upon the throne of David, and ruling any more in Judah.

Malayalam: ഈ ആളെ മക്കളില്ലാത്തവൻ എന്നും ആയുഷ്കാലത്തു ഒരിക്കലും ശുഭം വരാത്തവൻ എന്നും എഴുതുവിൻ; ഇനി ദാവീദിന്റെ സിംഹാസനത്തിൽ ഇരുന്നു യെഹൂദയിൽ വാഴുവാൻ അവന്റെ സന്തതിയിൽ യാതൊരുത്തന്നും ശുഭം വരികയില്ല എന്നു യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.
