Jeremiah 17

English: The sin of Judah is written with a pen of iron, and with the point of a diamond: it is graven upon the table of their heart, and upon the horns of your altars;

Malayalam: യെഹൂദയുടെ പാപം ഇരിമ്പെഴുത്താണികൊണ്ടും വജ്രത്തിന്റെ മുനകൊണ്ടും എഴുതിവെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; അതു അവരുടെ ഹൃദയത്തിന്റെ പലകയിലും നിങ്ങളുടെ ബലിപീഠത്തിന്റെ കൊമ്പുകളിലും കൊത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

English: Whilst their children remember their altars and their groves by the green trees upon the high hills.

Malayalam: ഉയർന്ന കുന്നുകളിൽ പച്ചമരങ്ങൾക്കരികെയുള്ള അവരുടെ ബലിപീഠങ്ങളെയും അശേരാപ്രതിഷ്ഠകളെയും അവരുടെ മക്കൾ ഓർക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ.

English: O my mountain in the field, I will give your substance and all your treasures to the spoil, and your high places for sin, throughout all your borders.

Malayalam: വയൽപ്രദേശത്തിലെ എന്റെ പർവ്വതമേ. നിന്റെ അതിർക്കകത്തൊക്കെയും ചെയ്ത പാപംനിമിത്തം ഞാൻ നിന്റെ സമ്പത്തും സകലനിക്ഷേപങ്ങളും പൂജാഗിരികളും കവർച്ചെക്കു ഏല്പിക്കും.

English: And you, even yourself, shall discontinue from yours heritage that I gave you; and I will cause you to serve yours enemies in the land which you know not: for all of you have kindled a fire in mine anger, which shall burn for ever.

Malayalam: ഞാൻ നിനക്കു തന്ന അവകാശം നീ ഒഴിഞ്ഞുപോകേണ്ടിവരും; നീ അറിയാത്ത ദേശത്തു ഞാൻ നിന്നെ നിന്റെ ശത്രുക്കളെ സേവിക്കുമാറാക്കും നിങ്ങൾ എന്റെ കോപത്തിൽ തീ കത്തിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; അതു എന്നേക്കും കത്തിക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കും;

English: Thus says the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusts in man, and makes flesh his arm, and whose heart departs from the LORD.

Malayalam: യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു; മനുഷ്യനിൽ ആശ്രയിച്ചു ജഡത്തെ തന്റെ ഭുജമാക്കി ഹൃദയംകൊണ്ടു യഹോവയെ വിട്ടുമാറുന്ന മനുഷ്യൻ ശപിക്കപ്പെട്ടവൻ.

English: For he shall be like the heath in the desert, and shall not see when good comes; but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, in a salt land and not inhabited.

Malayalam: അവൻ മരുഭൂമിയിലെ ചൂരച്ചെടിപോലെയാകും; നന്മ വരുമ്പോൾ അതിനെ കാണാതെ മരുഭൂമിയിലെ വരണ്ട പ്രദേശങ്ങളിലും നിവാസികൾ ഇല്ലാത്ത ഉവർനിലത്തിലും പാർക്കും.

English: Blessed is the man that trusts in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is.

Malayalam: യഹോവയിൽ ആശ്രയിക്കയും യഹോവ തന്നേ ആശ്രയമായിരിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്ന മനുഷ്യൻ ഭാഗ്യവാൻ.

English: For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreads out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat comes, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.

Malayalam: അവൻ വെള്ളത്തിന്നരികെ നട്ടിരിക്കുന്നതും ആറ്റരികെ വേരൂന്നിയിരിക്കുന്നതുമായ വൃക്ഷംപോലെയാകും; ഉഷ്ണം തട്ടുമ്പോൾ അതു പേടിക്കയില്ല; അതിന്റെ ഇല പച്ചയായിരിക്കും; വരൾച്ചയുള്ള കാലത്തും വാട്ടം തട്ടാതെ ഫലം കായിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കും.

English: The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?

Malayalam: ഹൃദയം എല്ലാറ്റിനെക്കാളും കപടവും വിഷമവുമുള്ളതു; അതു ആരാഞ്ഞറിയുന്നവൻ ആർ?

English: I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.

Malayalam: യഹോവയായ ഞാൻ ഹൃദയത്തെ ശോധനചെയ്തു അന്തരംഗങ്ങളെ പരീക്ഷിച്ചു ഓരോരുത്തന്നു അവനവന്റെ നടപ്പിന്നും പ്രവൃത്തിയുടെ ഫലത്തിന്നും തക്കവണ്ണം കൊടുക്കുന്നു.

English: As the partridge sits on eggs, and hatches them not; so he that gets riches, and not by right, shall leave them in the midst of his days, and at his end shall be a fool.

Malayalam: ന്യായമായിട്ടല്ലാതെ ധനം സമ്പാദിക്കുന്നവൻ, താൻ ഇടാത്ത മുട്ട പൊരുന്നിരിക്കുന്ന തിത്തിരിപ്പക്ഷിയെപ്പോലെയാകുന്നു; അവന്റെ മദ്ധ്യായുസ്സിങ്കൽ അതു അവനെ വിട്ടുപോകും: ഒടുക്കം അവൻ ഭോഷനായിരിക്കും.

English: A glorious high throne from the beginning is the place of our sanctuary.

Malayalam: ആദിമുതൽ ഉന്നതമായി മഹത്വമുള്ള സിംഹാസനമേ, ഞങ്ങളുടെ വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരസ്ഥാനമേ,

English: O LORD, the hope of Israel, all that forsake you shall be ashamed, and they that depart from me shall be written in the earth, because they have forsaken the LORD, the fountain of living waters.

Malayalam: യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ പ്രത്യാശയായ യഹോവേ, നിന്നെ ഉപേക്ഷിക്കുന്ന ഏവരും ലജ്ജിച്ചുപോകും, എന്നെ വിട്ടുപോകുന്നവരെ മണ്ണിൽ എഴുതിവെക്കും; അവർ ജീവനുള്ള വെള്ളത്തിന്റെ ഉറവായ യഹോവയെ ഉപേക്ഷിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞുവല്ലോ.

English: Heal me, O LORD, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved: for you are my praise.

Malayalam: യഹോവേ, എന്നെ സൌഖ്യമാക്കേണമേ, എന്നാൽ എനിക്കു സൌഖ്യം വരും; എന്നെ രക്ഷിക്കേണമേ, എന്നാൽ ഞാൻ രക്ഷപ്പെടും; നീ എന്റെ പുകഴ്ചയല്ലോ.

English: Behold, they say unto me, Where is the word of the LORD? let it come now.

Malayalam: അവർ എന്നോടു: യഹോവയുടെ വചനം എവിടെ? അതു വരട്ടെ എന്നു പറയുന്നു.

English: As for me, I have not hastened from being a pastor to follow you: neither have I desired the woeful day; you know: that which came out of my lips was right before you.

Malayalam: ഞാനോ ഇടയനായി നിന്നെ സേവിപ്പാൻ മടിച്ചില്ല; ദുർദ്ദിനം ഞാൻ ആഗ്രഹിച്ചതുമില്ല എന്നു നീ അറിയുന്നു; എന്റെ അധരങ്ങൾ ഉച്ചരിച്ചതു തിരുമുമ്പിൽ ഇരിക്കുന്നു.

English: Be not a terror unto me: you are my hope in the day of evil.

Malayalam: നീ എനിക്കു ഭയങ്കരനാകരുതേ; അനർത്ഥദിവസത്തിൽ എന്റെ ശരണം നീയല്ലോ.

English: Let them be confounded that persecute me, but let not me be confounded: let them be dismayed, but let not me be dismayed: bring upon them the day of evil, and destroy them with double destruction.

Malayalam: എന്നെ ഉപദ്രവിക്കുന്നവൻ ലജ്ജിച്ചു പോകട്ടെ; ഞാൻ ലജ്ജിച്ചുപോകരുതേ; അവർ ഭ്രമിച്ചുപോകട്ടെ; ഞാൻ ഭ്രമിച്ചു പോകരുതേ; അവർക്കു അനർത്ഥദിവസം വരുത്തി, അവരെ തകർത്തു തകർത്തു നശിപ്പിക്കേണമേ.

English: Thus said the LORD unto me; Go and stand in the gate of the children of the people, whereby the kings of Judah come in, and by the which they go out, and in all the gates of Jerusalem;

Malayalam: യഹോവ എന്നോടു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു: നീ ചെന്നു, യെഹൂദാരാജാക്കന്മാർ അകത്തു വരികയും പുറത്തു പോകയും ചെയ്യുന്ന ജനത്തിന്റെ വാതിൽക്കലും യെരൂശലേമിന്റെ എല്ലാവാതിൽക്കലും നിന്നുകൊണ്ടു അവരോടു പറക:

English: And say unto them, Hear all of you the word of the LORD, all of you kings of Judah, and all Judah, and all the inhabitants of Jerusalem, that enter in by these gates:

Malayalam: ഈ വാതിലുകളിൽകൂടി അകത്തു കടക്കുന്ന യെഹൂദാരാജാക്കന്മാരും എല്ലായെഹൂദന്മാരും യെരൂശലേമിലെ സർവ്വനിവാസികളും ആയുള്ളോരേ, യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു കേൾപ്പിൻ!

English: Thus says the LORD; Take heed to yourselves, and bear no burden on the sabbath day, nor bring it in by the gates of Jerusalem;

Malayalam: യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: സൂക്ഷിച്ചുകൊൾവിൻ; ശബ്ബത്തുനാളിൽ യാതൊരു ചുമടും ചുമന്നു യെരൂശലേമിന്റെ വാതിലുകളിൽ കൂടി അകത്തു കൊണ്ടുവരരുതു.

English: Neither carry forth a burden out of your houses on the sabbath day, neither do all of you any work, but hallow all of you the sabbath day, as I commanded your fathers.

Malayalam: ശബ്ബത്തുനാളിൽ നിങ്ങളുടെ വീടുകളിൽനിന്നു യാതൊരു ചുമടും പുറത്തു കൊണ്ടുപോകാതെയും യാതൊരു വേലയും ചെയ്യാതെയും ശബ്ബത്തുനാൾ വിശുദ്ധീകരിപ്പിൻ. നിങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാരോടു ഞാൻ അങ്ങനെ കല്പിച്ചുവല്ലൊ.

English: But they obeyed not, neither inclined their ear, but made their neck stiff, that they might not hear, nor receive instruction.

Malayalam: എന്നാൽ അവർ കേട്ടില്ല, ചെവി ചായിച്ചതുമില്ല; കേട്ടനുസരിക്കയോ ബുദ്ധ്യുപദേശം കൈക്കൊള്ളുകയോ ചെയ്യാതെ അവർ ശാഠ്യം കാണിച്ചു.

English: And it shall come to pass, if all of you diligently hearken unto me, says the LORD, to bring in no burden through the gates of this city on the sabbath day, but hallow the sabbath day, to do no work therein;

Malayalam: നിങ്ങളോ ശബ്ബത്തുനാളിൽ ഈ നഗരത്തിന്റെ വാതിലുകളിൽകൂടി യാതൊരു ചുമടും കൊണ്ടുവരാതെയും ശബ്ബത്തുനാളിൽ യാതൊരു വേലയും ചെയ്യാതെയും അതിനെ വിശുദ്ധീകരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു എന്റെ വാക്കു ജാഗ്രതയോടെ കേട്ടനുസരിക്കുമെങ്കിൽ

English: Then shall there enter into the gates of this city kings and princes sitting upon the throne of David, riding in chariots and on horses, they, and their princes, the men of Judah, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem: and this city shall remain for ever.

Malayalam: ദാവീദിന്റെ സിംഹാസനത്തിൽ ഇരിക്കുന്നവരും രഥങ്ങളിലും കുതിരപ്പുറത്തും കയറുന്നവരുമായ രാജാക്കന്മാരും രാജകുമാരന്മാരും അവരുടെ പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരായ യെഹൂദാപുരുഷന്മാരും യെരൂശലേം നിവാസികളും ഈ നഗരത്തിന്റെ വാതിലുകളിൽകൂടി കടക്കയും ഈ നഗരം എന്നേക്കും നിൽക്കയും ചെയ്യും എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

English: And they shall come from the cities of Judah, and from the places about Jerusalem, and from the land of Benjamin, and from the plain, and from the mountains, and from the south, bringing burnt offerings, and sacrifices, and food offerings, and incense, and bringing sacrifices of praise, unto the house of the LORD.

Malayalam: യെഹൂദാപട്ടണങ്ങളിൽനിന്നും യെരൂശലേമിന്നു ചുറ്റും ഉള്ള പ്രദേശങ്ങളിൽനിന്നും ബെന്യാമീൻ ദേശത്തുനിന്നും താഴ്വീതിയിൽനിന്നും മലനാടുകളിൽനിന്നും തെക്കേ ദിക്കിൽനിന്നും അവർ ഹോമയാഗങ്ങളും ഹനനയാഗങ്ങളും ഭോജനയാഗങ്ങളും കുന്തുരുക്കവും കൊണ്ടുവരും; യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിൽ അവർ സ്തോത്രയാഗവും അർപ്പിക്കും.

English: But if all of you will not hearken unto me to hallow the sabbath day, and not to bear a burden, even entering in at the gates of Jerusalem on the sabbath day; then will I kindle a fire in the gates thereof, and it shall devour the palaces of Jerusalem, and it shall not be quenched.

Malayalam: എന്നാൽ ശബ്ബത്തുനാൾ വിശുദ്ധീകരിപ്പാനും ശബ്ബത്തുനാളിൽ യെരൂശലേമിന്റെ വാതിലുകളിൽകൂടി ചുമടു ചുമന്നു കൊണ്ടുപോകാതെ ഇരിപ്പാനും നിങ്ങൾ എന്റെ വാക്കു കേട്ടനുസരിക്കയില്ലെങ്കിൽ ഞാൻ അതിന്റെ വാതിലുകളിൽ തീ കൊളുത്തും; അതു കെട്ടുപോകാതെ യെരൂശലേമിലെ അരമനകളെ ദഹിപ്പിക്കും.
