Jeremiah 16

English: The word of the LORD came also unto me, saying,

Malayalam: യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു എനിക്കുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാൽ:

English: You shall not take you a wife, neither shall you have sons or daughters in this place.

Malayalam: ഈ സ്ഥലത്തു നീ ഭാര്യയെ പരിഗ്രഹിക്കരുതു; നിനക്കു പുത്രന്മാരും പുത്രിമാരും ഉണ്ടാകയും അരുതു.

English: For thus says the LORD concerning the sons and concerning the daughters that are born in this place, and concerning their mothers that bare them, and concerning their fathers that brings forth them in this land;

Malayalam: ഈ സ്ഥലത്തു ജനിക്കുന്ന പുത്രന്മാരെയും പുത്രിമാരെയും കുറിച്ചും ഈ ദേശത്തു അവരെ പ്രസവിക്കുന്ന അമ്മമാരെക്കുറിച്ചും അവരെ ജനിപ്പിക്കുന്ന അപ്പന്മാരെക്കുറിച്ചും യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു:

English: They shall die of grievous deaths; they shall not be lamented; neither shall they be buried; but they shall be as dung upon the face of the earth: and they shall be consumed by the sword, and by famine; and their carcasses shall be food for the fowls of heaven, and for the beasts of the earth.

Malayalam: അവർ കൊടിയ വ്യാധികളാൽ മരിക്കും; ആരും അവരെക്കുറിച്ചു വിലാപം കഴിക്കയോ അവരെ കുഴിച്ചിടുകയോ ചെയ്യാതെ അവർ നിലത്തിന്നു വളമായി കിടക്കും; വാളാലും ക്ഷാമത്താലും അവർ മുടിഞ്ഞുപോകും; അവരുടെ ശവങ്ങൾ ആകാശത്തിലെ പക്ഷികൾക്കും കാട്ടിലെ മൃഗങ്ങൾക്കും ഇരയായിത്തീരും.

English: For thus says the LORD, Enter not into the house of mourning, neither go to lament nor lament for them: for I have taken away my peace from this people, says the LORD, even loving kindness and mercies.

Malayalam: യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: നീ ദുഃഖഭവനത്തിൽ ചെല്ലരുതു; വിലപിപ്പാൻ പോകരുതു; അവരോടു സഹതാപം കാണിക്കയും അരുതു; ഞാൻ എന്റെ സമാധാനവും ദയയും കരുണയും ഈ ജനത്തിൽനിന്നു നീക്കിക്കളഞ്ഞു എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

English: Both the great and the small shall die in this land: they shall not be buried, neither shall men lament for them, nor cut themselves, nor make themselves bald for them:

Malayalam: വലിയവരും ചെറിയവരും ഈ ദേശത്തു മരിക്കും; ആരും അവരെ കുഴിച്ചിടുകയില്ല, അവരെക്കുറിച്ചു വിലാപം കഴിക്കയില്ല, അവരുടെ നിമിത്തം മുറിവേല്പിക്കയില്ല, മുൻകഷണ്ടിയുണ്ടാക്കുകയുമില്ല.

English: Neither shall men tear themselves for them in mourning, to comfort them for the dead; neither shall men give them the cup of consolation to drink for their father or for their mother.

Malayalam: മരിച്ചവനെക്കുറിച്ചു അവരെ ആശ്വസിപ്പിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ആരും വിലാപത്തിങ്കൽ അവർക്കു അപ്പം നുറുക്കിക്കൊടുക്കയില്ല; അപ്പനെച്ചൊല്ലിയോ അമ്മയെച്ചൊല്ലിയോ ആരും അവർക്കു ആശ്വാസത്തിന്റെ പാനപാത്രം കുടിപ്പാൻ കൊടുക്കയുമില്ല.

English: You shall not also go into the house of feasting, to sit with them to eat and to drink.

Malayalam: അവരോടുകൂടെ ഇരുന്നു ഭക്ഷിപ്പാനും പാനം ചെയ്‍വാനും നീ വിരുന്നു വീട്ടിലേക്കു പോകരുതു.

English: For thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will cause to cease out of this place in your eyes, and in your days, the voice of delight, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride.

Malayalam: യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: നിങ്ങൾ കാൺകെ ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ നാളുകളിൽ ആനന്ദഘോഷവും സന്തോഷധ്വനിയും മണവാളന്റെ സ്വരവും മണവാട്ടിയുടെ സ്വരവും ഈ സ്ഥലത്തുനിന്നു നീക്കിക്കളയും.

English: And it shall come to pass, when you shall show this people all these words, and they shall say unto you, Wherefore has the LORD pronounced all this great evil against us? or what is our iniquity? or what is our sin that we have committed against the LORD our God?

Malayalam: നീ ഈ വചനങ്ങളെ ഒക്കെയും ഈ ജനത്തോടു അറിയിക്കുമ്പോഴും യഹോവ ഞങ്ങൾക്കു വിരോധമായി ഈ വലിയ അനർത്ഥം ഒക്കെയും കല്പിച്ചതു എന്തു? ഞങ്ങളുടെ അകൃത്യം എന്തു? ഞങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയോടു ഞങ്ങൾ ചെയ്ത പാപം എന്തു എന്നു അവർ നിന്നോടു ചോദിക്കുമ്പോഴും

English: Then shall you say unto them, Because your fathers have forsaken me, says the LORD, and have walked after other gods, and have served them, and have worshipped them, and have forsaken me, and have not kept my law;

Malayalam: നീ അവരോടു പറയേണ്ടതു എന്തെന്നാൽ: നിങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാർ എന്നെ ത്യജിച്ചു അന്യദേവന്മാരോടു ചേർന്നു അവരെ സേവിച്ചു നമസ്കരിക്കയും എന്നെ ഉപേക്ഷിച്ചു എന്റെ ന്യായപ്രമാണം അനുസരിച്ചു നടക്കാതെയിരിക്കയും ചെയ്കകൊണ്ടു തന്നേ എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

English: And all of you have done worse than your fathers; for, behold, all of you walk every one after the imagination of his evil heart, that they may not hearken unto me:

Malayalam: നിങ്ങളോ നിങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാരെക്കാൾ അധികം ദോഷം ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു; നിങ്ങൾ ഓരോരുത്തനും എന്റെ വാക്കു കേൾക്കാതെ താന്താന്റെ ദുഷ്ടഹൃദയത്തിലെ ശാഠ്യം അനുസരിച്ചു നടക്കുന്നു.

English: Therefore will I cast you out of this land into a land that all of you know not, neither all of you nor your fathers; and there shall all of you serve other gods day and night; where I will not show you favour.

Malayalam: അതുകൊണ്ടു ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ ഈ ദേശത്തുനിന്നു നിങ്ങളും നിങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാരും അറിയാത്ത ഒരു ദേശത്തേക്കു നീക്കിക്കളയും; അവിടെ നിങ്ങൾ രാവും പകലും അന്യദേവന്മാരെ സേവിക്കും; അവിടെ ഞാൻ നിങ്ങൾക്കു കൃപ കാണിക്കയുമില്ല.

English: Therefore, behold, the days come, says the LORD, that it shall no more be said, The LORD lives, that brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt;

Malayalam: ആകയാൽ, യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളെ മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തുനിന്നു കൊണ്ടുവന്ന യഹോവയാണ എന്നു ഇനി പറയാതെ,

English: But, The LORD lives, that brought up the children of Israel from the land of the north, and from all the lands where he had driven them: and I will bring them again into their land that I gave unto their fathers.

Malayalam: യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളെ വടക്കെദേശത്തുനിന്നും താൻ അവരെ നീക്കിക്കളഞ്ഞിരുന്ന സകലദേശങ്ങളിൽനിന്നും കൊണ്ടുവന്ന യഹോവയാണ എന്നു പറയുന്ന കാലം വരും എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു; ഞാൻ അവരുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാർക്കു കൊടുത്ത ദേശത്തിലേക്കു ഞാൻ അവരെ വീണ്ടും കൊണ്ടുവരും.

English: Behold, I will send for many fishers, says the LORD, and they shall fish them; and after will I send for many hunters, and they shall hunt them from every mountain, and from every hill, and out of the holes of the rocks.

Malayalam: ഇതാ, ഞാൻ അനേകം മീൻപിടിക്കാരെ വരുത്തും; അവർ അവരെ പിടിക്കും; അതിന്റെ ശേഷം ഞാൻ അനേകം നായാട്ടുകാരെ വരുത്തും; അവർ അവരെ എല്ലാമലയിലും നിന്നും എല്ലാ കുന്നിലും നിന്നും പാറപ്പിളർപ്പുകളിൽനിന്നും നായാടിപ്പിടിക്കും എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

English: For mine eyes are upon all their ways: they are not hid from my face, neither is their iniquity hid from mine eyes.

Malayalam: എന്റെ ദൃഷ്ടി അവരുടെ എല്ലാവഴികളുടെയും മേൽ വെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; അവ എനിക്കു മറഞ്ഞു കിടക്കുന്നില്ല; അവരുടെ അകൃത്യം എന്റെ കണ്ണിന്നു ഗുപ്തമായിരിക്കുന്നതുമില്ല.

English: And first I will recompense their iniquity and their sin double; because they have defiled my land, they have filled mine inheritance with the carcasses of their detestable and abominable things.

Malayalam: അവർ എന്റെ ദേശത്തെ തങ്ങളുടെ മ്ളേച്ഛവിഗ്രഹങ്ങളാൽ മലിനമാക്കി എന്റെ അവകാശത്തെ തങ്ങളുടെ അറെപ്പുകളെക്കൊണ്ടു നിറെച്ചിരിക്കയാൽ, ഞാൻ ഒന്നാമതു അവരുടെ അകൃത്യത്തിന്നും അവരുടെ പാപത്തിന്നും ഇരിട്ടിച്ചു പകരം ചെയ്യും.

English: O LORD, my strength, and my fortress, and my refuge in the day of affliction, the Gentiles shall come unto you from the ends of the earth, and shall say, Surely our fathers have inherited lies, vanity, and things wherein there is no profit.

Malayalam: എന്റെ ബലവും എന്റെ കോട്ടയും കഷ്ടകാലത്തു എന്റെ ശരണവുമായ യഹോവേ, ജാതികൾ ഭൂമിയുടെ അറ്റങ്ങളിൽനിന്നു നിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വന്നു: ഞങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാർക്കു അവകാശമായിരുന്നതു മിത്ഥ്യാമൂർത്തികളായ വെറും ഭോഷ്കു അത്രേ; അവയിൽ പ്രയോജനമുള്ളതു ഒന്നുമില്ല എന്നു പറയും.

English: Shall a man make gods unto himself, and they are no gods?

Malayalam: തനിക്കു ദേവന്മാരെ ഉണ്ടാക്കുവാൻ മനുഷ്യന്നു കഴിയുമോ? എന്നാൽ അവ ദേവന്മാരല്ല.

English: Therefore, behold, I will this once cause them to know, I will cause them to know mine hand and my might; and they shall know that my name is The LORD.

Malayalam: ആകയാൽ ഞാൻ ഈ പ്രാവശ്യം അവരെ ഒന്നു പഠിപ്പിക്കും; എന്റെ കയ്യും എന്റെ ബലവും ഞാൻ അവരെ ഒന്നു അനുഭവിപ്പിക്കും; എന്റെ നാമം യഹോവ എന്നു അവർ അറിയും.
