Haggai 2

English: In the seventh month, in the one and twentieth day of the month, came the word of the LORD by the prophet Haggai, saying,

Malayalam: ഏഴാം മാസം ഇരുപത്തൊന്നാം തിയ്യതി ഹഗ്ഗായിപ്രവാചകൻ മുഖാന്തരം യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാൽ:

English: Speak now to Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, and to the residue of the people, saying,

Malayalam: നീ യെഹൂദാദേശാധിപതിയായി ശെയല്തീയേലിന്റെ മകനായ സെരുബ്ബാബേലിനോടും മഹാ പുരോഹിതനായി യെഹോസാദാക്കിന്റെ മകനായ യോശുവയോടും ജനത്തിൽ ശേഷിപ്പുള്ളവരോടും പറയേണ്ടതെന്തെന്നാൽ:

English: Who is left among you that saw this house in her first glory? and how do all of you see it now? is it not in your eyes in comparison of it as nothing?

Malayalam: നിങ്ങളിൽ ഈ ആലയത്തെ അതിന്റെ ആദ്യമഹത്വത്തോടെ കണ്ടവരായി ആർ ശേഷിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു? ഇപ്പോൾ കണ്ടിട്ടു നിങ്ങൾക്കു എന്തു തോന്നുന്നു? ഏതുമില്ലാത്തതുപോലെ തോന്നുന്നില്ലയോ?

English: Yet now be strong, O Zerubbabel, says the LORD; and be strong, O Joshua, son of Josedech, the high priest; and be strong, all you people of the land, says the LORD, and work: for I am with you, says the LORD of hosts:

Malayalam: ഇപ്പോഴോ സെരുബ്ബാബേലേ, ധൈര്യപ്പെടുക എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു; മഹാപുരോഹിതനായി യഹോസാദാക്കിന്റെ മകനായ യോശുവേ, ധൈര്യപ്പെടുക; ദേശത്തിലെ സകലജനവുമായുള്ളോരേ, ധൈര്യപ്പെട്ടു വേല ചെയ്‍വിൻ എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു; ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ ഉണ്ടല്ലോ എന്നു സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

English: According to the word that I covenanted with you when all of you came out of Egypt, so my spirit remains among you: fear all of you not.

Malayalam: നിങ്ങൾ മിസ്രയീമിൽ നിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടപ്പോൾ ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടു ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്ന നിയമത്തിന്റെ വചനം ഓർപ്പിൻ; എന്റെ ആത്മാവു നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയിൽ വസിക്കുന്നു; നിങ്ങൾ ഭയപ്പെടേണ്ടാ.

English: For thus says the LORD of hosts; Yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land;

Malayalam: സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: ഇനി കുറഞ്ഞോന്നു കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടു ഞാൻ ആകാശത്തെയും ഭൂമിയെയും കടലിനെയും കരയെയും ഇളക്കും.

English: And I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come: and I will fill this house with glory, says the LORD of hosts.

Malayalam: ഞാൻ സകല ജാതികളെയും ഇളക്കും; സകല ജാതികളുടെയും മനോഹരവസ്തു വരികയും ചെയ്യും; ഞാൻ ഈ ആലയത്തെ മഹത്വപൂർണ്ണമാക്കും എന്നു സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.

English: The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, says the LORD of hosts.

Malayalam: വെള്ളി എനിക്കുള്ളതു, പൊന്നും എനിക്കുള്ളതു എന്നു സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

English: The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, says the LORD of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, says the LORD of hosts.

Malayalam: ഈ ആലയത്തിന്റെ പിന്നത്തെ മഹത്വം മുമ്പിലേത്തതിലും വലുതായിരിക്കും എന്നു സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു; ഈ സ്ഥലത്തു ഞാൻ സമാധാനം നല്കും എന്നു സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

English: In the four and twentieth day of the ninth month, in the second year of Darius, came the word of the LORD by Haggai the prophet, saying,

Malayalam: ദാർയ്യാവേശിന്റെ രണ്ടാം ആണ്ടു, ഒമ്പതാം മാസം, ഇരുപത്തുനാലാം തിയ്യതി ഹഗ്ഗായി പ്രവാചകൻ മുഖാന്തരം യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാൽ:

English: Thus says the LORD of hosts; Ask now the priests concerning the law, saying,

Malayalam: സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: നിങ്ങൾ പുരോഹിതന്മാരോടു ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തെക്കുറിച്ചു ചോദിക്കേണ്ടതെന്തെന്നാൽ:

English: If one bear holy flesh in the skirt of his garment, and with his skirt do touch bread, or pottage, or wine, or oil, or any food, shall it be holy? And the priests answered and said, No.

Malayalam: ഒരുത്തൻ തന്റെ വസ്ത്രത്തിന്റെ കോന്തലെക്കൽ വിശുദ്ധമാംസം വഹിച്ചു, ആ കോന്തലകൊണ്ടു അപ്പമോ പായസമോ വീഞ്ഞോ എണ്ണയോ ഏതെങ്കിലും ഒരു ഭക്ഷണസാധനമോ തൊട്ടാൽ അതു വിശുദ്ധമാകുമോ? അതിന്നു പുരോഹിതന്മാർ ഇല്ല എന്നുത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

English: Then said Haggai, If one that is unclean by a dead body touch any of these, shall it be unclean? And the priests answered and said, It shall be unclean.

Malayalam: എന്നാൽ ഹഗ്ഗായി: ശവത്താൽ അശുദ്ധനായ ഒരുത്തൻ അവയിൽ ഒന്നു തൊടുന്നുവെങ്കിൽ അതു അശുദ്ധമാകുമോ എന്നു ചോദിച്ചതിന്നു: അതു അശുദ്ധമാകും എന്നു പുരോഹിതന്മാർ ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

English: Then answered Haggai, and said, So is this people, and so is this nation before me, says the LORD; and so is every work of their hands; and that which they offer there is unclean.

Malayalam: അതിന്നു ഹഗ്ഗായി ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞതെന്തെന്നാൽ: അങ്ങനെ തന്നേ ഈ ജനവും അങ്ങനെ തന്നേ ഈ ജാതിയും എന്റെ സന്നിധിയിൽ ആകുന്നു എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു. അവരുടെ കൈകളുടെ പ്രവൃത്തിയൊക്കെയും അങ്ങനെ തന്നേ; അവർ അവിടെ അർപ്പിക്കുന്നതും അശുദ്ധം അത്രേ.

English: And now, I pray you, consider from this day and upward, from before a stone was laid upon a stone in the temple of the LORD:

Malayalam: ആകയാൽ നിങ്ങൾ ഇന്നു തൊട്ടു പിന്നോക്കം, യഹോവയുടെ മന്ദിരത്തിങ്കൽ കല്ലിന്മേൽ കല്ലു വെച്ചതിന്നു മുമ്പുള്ളകാലം വിചാരിച്ചുകൊൾവിൻ.

English: Since those days were, when one came to an heap of twenty measures, there were but ten: when one came to the pressfat in order to draw out fifty vessels out of the press, there were but twenty.

Malayalam: ആ കാലത്തു ഒരുത്തൻ ഇരുപതു പറയുള്ള കൂമ്പാരത്തിലേക്കു ചെല്ലുമ്പോൾ പത്തു മാത്രമേ കാണുകയുള്ളു; ഒരുത്തൻ അമ്പതു പാത്രം കോരുവാൻ ചക്കാലയിൽ ചെല്ലുമ്പോൾ ഇരുപതു മാത്രമേ കാണുകയുള്ളു.

English: I stroke you with blasting and with mildew and with hail in all the labours of your hands; yet all of you turned not to me, says the LORD.

Malayalam: വെൺകതിരും വിഷമഞ്ഞും കൽമഴയുംകൊണ്ടു ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ നിങ്ങളുടെ കൈകളുടെ സകല പ്രവൃത്തികളിലും ദണ്ഡിപ്പിച്ചു; എങ്കിലും നിങ്ങൾ എങ്കലേക്കു തിരിഞ്ഞില്ല എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

English: Consider now from this day and upward, from the four and twentieth day of the ninth month, even from the day that the foundation of the LORD's temple was laid, consider it.

Malayalam: നിങ്ങൾ ഇന്നുതൊട്ടു മുമ്പോട്ടു ദൃഷ്ടിവെക്കുവിൻ; ഒമ്പതാം മാസം, ഇരുപത്തു നാലാം തിയ്യതിമുതൽ, യഹോവയുടെ മന്ദിരത്തിന്നു അടിസ്ഥാനം ഇട്ട ദിവസം തുടങ്ങിയുള്ള കാലത്തിൽ തന്നേ ദൃഷ്ടിവെക്കുവിൻ.

English: Is the seed yet in the barn? yea, as yet the vine, and the fig tree, and the pomegranate, and the olive tree, has not brought forth: from this day will I bless you.

Malayalam: വിത്തു ഇനിയും കളപ്പുരയിൽ കിടക്കുന്നുവോ? മുന്തിരിവള്ളിയും അത്തിവൃക്ഷവും മാതളവും ഒലിവുമരവും കായക്കുന്നില്ലയോ? ഇന്നുമുതൽ ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ അനുഗ്രഹിക്കും.

English: And again the word of the LORD came unto Haggai in the four and twentieth day of the month, saying,

Malayalam: ഇരുപത്തു നാലാം തിയ്യതി യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു രണ്ടാം പ്രാവശ്യം ഹഗ്ഗായിക്കുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാൽ:

English: Speak to Zerubbabel, governor of Judah, saying, I will shake the heavens and the earth;

Malayalam: നീ യെഹൂദാദേശാധിപതിയായ സെരുബ്ബാബേലിനോടു പറയേണ്ടതു: ഞാൻ ആകാശത്തെയും ഭൂമിയെയും ഇളക്കും.

English: And I will overthrow the throne of kingdoms, and I will destroy the strength of the kingdoms of the heathen; and I will overthrow the chariots, and those that ride in them; and the horses and their riders shall come down, every one by the sword of his brother.

Malayalam: ഞാൻ രാജ്യങ്ങളുടെ സിംഹാസനം മറിച്ചിടും; ജാതികളുടെ രാജ്യങ്ങളുടെ ബലം നശിപ്പിച്ചുകളയും; ഞാൻ രഥത്തെയും അതിൽ കയറി ഓടിക്കുന്നവരെയും മറിച്ചുകളയും; കുതിരകളും പുറത്തു കയറി ഓടിക്കുന്നവരും ഓരോരുത്തൻ താന്താന്റെ സഹോദരന്റെ വാളിനാൽ വീഴും.

English: In that day, says the LORD of hosts, will I take you, O Zerubbabel, my servant, the son of Shealtiel, says the LORD, and will make you as a signet: for I have chosen you, says the LORD of hosts.

Malayalam: അന്നാളിൽ--സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു--എന്റെ ദാസനായി ശെയല്തീയേലിന്റെ മകനായ സെരുബ്ബാബേലേ, ഞാൻ നിന്നെ എടുത്തു മുദ്രമോതിരമാക്കും എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു; ഞാൻ നിന്നെ തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.
