Acts 26

English: Then Agrippa said unto Paul, You are permitted to speak for yourself. Then Paul stretched forth the hand, and answered for himself:

Malayalam: അഗ്രിപ്പാവു പൌലൊസിനോടു: നീന്റെ കാര്യം പറവാൻ അനുവാദം ഉണ്ടു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ പൌലൊസ് കൈനീട്ടി പ്രതിവാദിച്ചതെന്തെന്നാൽ:

English: I think myself happy, king Agrippa, because I shall answer for myself this day before you concerning all the things whereof I am accused of the Jews:

Malayalam: അഗ്രിപ്പാരാജാവേ, യെഹൂദന്മാർ എന്റെ മേൽ ചുമത്തുന്ന എല്ലാ കുറ്റങ്ങളെയും കുറിച്ചു ഇന്നു തിരുമുമ്പാകെ പ്രതിവാദിപ്പാൻ ഇടവന്നതുകൊണ്ടു,

English: Especially because I know you to be expert in all customs and questions which are among the Jews: wherefore I plead to you to hear me patiently.

Malayalam: വിശേഷാൽ നീ യെഹൂദന്മാരുടെ ഇടയിലെ ആചാരങ്ങളും തർക്കങ്ങളും എല്ലാം അറിയുന്നവൻ ആകയാൽ ഞാൻ ഭാഗ്യവാൻ എന്നു നിരൂപിക്കുന്നു; അതുകൊണ്ടു എന്റെ പ്രതിവാദം ക്ഷമയോടേ കേൾക്കേണമെന്നു അപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നു.

English: My manner of life from my youth, which was at the first among mine own nation at Jerusalem, know all the Jews;

Malayalam: എന്റെ ജാതിക്കാരുടെ ഇടയിലും യെരൂശലേമിലും ആദിമുതൽ ബാല്യംതുടങ്ങിയുള്ള എന്റെ നടപ്പു യെഹൂദന്മാർ എല്ലാവരും അറിയുന്നു.

English: Which knew me from the beginning, if they would testify, that after the most strictest sect of our religion I lived a Pharisee.

Malayalam: ഞാൻ നമ്മുടെ മാർഗ്ഗത്തിൽ സൂക്ഷ്മത ഏറിയ മതഭേദപ്രകാരം പരീശനായി ജീവിച്ചു എന്നു അവർ ആദിമുതൽ അറിയുന്നു; അവർക്കു മനസ്സുണ്ടെങ്കിൽ സാക്ഷ്യം പറയാം.

English: And now I stand and am judged for the hope of the promise made of God, unto our fathers:

Malayalam: ദൈവത്താൽ നമ്മുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാർക്കു ലഭിച്ചതും

English: Unto which promise our twelve tribes, instantly serving God day and night, hope to come. For which hope's sake, king Agrippa, I am accused of the Jews.

Malayalam: നമ്മുടെ പന്ത്രണ്ടു ഗോത്രങ്ങളും രാപ്പകൽ ശ്രദ്ധയോടെ ആരാധിച്ചുകൊണ്ടു എത്തിപ്പിടിപ്പാൻ ആശിക്കുന്നതും ആയ വാഗ്ദത്തത്തിലുള്ള പ്രത്യാശഹേതുവായിട്ടത്രേ ഞാൻ ഇപ്പോൾ വിസ്താരത്തിൽ ആയിരിക്കുന്നതു. ആ പ്രത്യാശയെച്ചൊല്ലി ആകുന്നു രാജാവേ, യെഹൂദന്മാർ എന്റെമേൽ കുറ്റം ചുമത്തുന്നതു.

English: Why should it be thought a thing incredible with you, that God should raise the dead?

Malayalam: ദൈവം മരിച്ചവരെ ഉയിർപ്പിക്കുന്നതു വിശ്വാസയോഗ്യമല്ല എന്നു നിങ്ങൾക്കു തോന്നുന്നതു എന്തു?

English: I verily thought with myself, that I ought to do many things contrary to the name of Jesus of Nazareth.

Malayalam: നസറായനായ യേശുവിന്റെ നാമത്തിന്നു വിരോധമായി പലതും പ്രവർത്തിക്കേണം എന്നു ഞാനും വിചാരിച്ചു സത്യം.

English: Which thing I also did in Jerusalem: and many of the saints did I shut up in prison, having received authority from the chief priests; and when they were put to death, I gave my voice against them.

Malayalam: അതു ഞാൻ യെരൂശലേമിൽ ചെയ്തിട്ടുമുണ്ടു; മഹാ പുരോഹിതന്മാരോടു അധികാരപത്രം വാങ്ങി വിശുദ്ധന്മാരിൽ പലരെയും തടവിൽ ആക്കി അടെച്ചു; അവരെ നിഗ്രഹിക്കുന്ന സമയം ഞാനും സമ്മതം കൊടുത്തു.

English: And I punished them often in every synagogue, and compelled them to blaspheme; and being exceedingly mad against them, I persecuted them even unto strange cities.

Malayalam: ഞാൻ എല്ലാ പള്ളികളിലും അവരെ പലപ്പോഴും ദണ്ഡിപ്പിച്ചുംകൊണ്ടു ദൂഷണം പറവാൻ നിർബന്ധിക്കയും അവരുടെ നേരെ അത്യന്തം ഭ്രാന്തുപിടിച്ചു അന്യപട്ടണങ്ങളോളവും ചെന്നു അവരെ ഉപദ്രവിക്കയും ചെയ്തു.

English: Whereupon as I went to Damascus with authority and commission from the chief priests,

Malayalam: ഇങ്ങനെ ചെയ്തുവരികയിൽ ഞാൻ മഹാപുരോഹിതന്മാരുടെ അധികാരത്തോടും ആജ്ഞയോടും കൂടെ ദമസ്കൊസിലേക്കു യാത്രപോകുമ്പോൾ,

English: At midday, O king, I saw in the way a light from heaven, above the brightness of the sun, shining round about me and them which journeyed with me.

Malayalam: രാജാവേ, നട്ടുച്ചെക്കു ഞാൻ വഴിയിൽവെച്ചു സൂര്യന്റെ പ്രകാശത്തെ കവിഞ്ഞൊരു വെളിച്ചം ആകാശത്തിൽ നിന്നു എന്നെയും എന്നോടു കൂടെ യാത്രചെയ്യുന്നവരെയും ചുറ്റി പ്രകാശിക്കുന്നതു കണ്ടു.

English: And when we were all fallen to the earth, I heard a voice speaking unto me, and saying in the Hebrew tongue, Saul, Saul, why persecute you me? it is hard for you to kick against the pricks.

Malayalam: ഞങ്ങൾ എല്ലാവരും നിലത്തു വീണപ്പോൾ: ശൌലെ, ശൌലെ, നീ എന്നെ ഉപദ്രവിക്കുന്നതു എന്തു? മുള്ളിന്റെ നേരെ ഉതെക്കുന്നതു നിനക്കു വിഷമം ആകുന്നു എന്നു എബ്രായഭാഷയിൽ എന്നോടു പറയുന്നൊരു ശബ്ദം ഞാൻ കേട്ടു.

English: And I said, Who are you, Lord? And he said, I am Jesus whom you persecute.

Malayalam: നീ ആരാകുന്നു കർത്താവേ, എന്നു ഞാൻ ചോദിച്ചതിന്നു കർത്താവു: നീ ഉപദ്രവിക്കുന്ന യേശു തന്നേ ഞാൻ;

English: But rise, and stand upon your feet: for I have appeared unto you for this purpose, to make you a minister and a witness both of these things which you have seen, and of those things in the which I will appear unto you;

Malayalam: എങ്കിലും എഴുന്നേറ്റു നിവിർന്നു നിൽക്ക; നീ എന്നെ കണ്ടതിന്നും ഇനി ഞാൻ നിനക്കു പ്രത്യക്ഷൻ ആവാനിരിക്കുന്നതിന്നും നിന്നെ ശുശ്രൂഷകനും സാക്ഷിയുമായി നിയമിപ്പാൻ ഞാൻ നിനക്കു പ്രത്യക്ഷനായി.

English: Delivering you from the people, and from the Gentiles, unto whom now I send you,

Malayalam: ജനത്തിന്റെയും ജാതികളുടെയും കയ്യിൽനിന്നു ഞാൻ നിന്നെ രക്ഷിക്കും.

English: To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.

Malayalam: അവർക്കു പാപമോചനവും എന്നിലുള്ള വിശ്വാസത്താൽ ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കപ്പെട്ടവരുടെ ഇടയിൽ അവകാശവും ലഭിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവരുടെ കണ്ണു തുറപ്പാനും അവരെ ഇരുളിൽനിന്നു വെളിച്ചത്തിലേക്കും സാത്താന്റെ അധികാരത്തിൽ നിന്നു ദൈവത്തിങ്കലേക്കും തിരിപ്പാനും ഞാൻ ഇപ്പോൾ നിന്നെ അവരുടെ അടുക്കൽ അയക്കുന്നു എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു.

English: Whereupon, O king Agrippa, I was not disobedient unto the heavenly vision:

Malayalam: അതുകൊണ്ടു അഗ്രിപ്പാരാജാവേ, ഞാൻ സ്വർഗ്ഗീയദർശനത്തിന്നു അനുസരണക്കേടു കാണിക്കാതെ

English: But showed first unto them of Damascus, and at Jerusalem, and throughout all the coasts of Judaea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, and do works meet for repentance.

Malayalam: ആദ്യം ദമസ്കൊസിലും യെരൂശലേമിലും യെഹൂദ്യദേശത്തെങ്ങും ഉള്ളവരോടും പിന്നെ ജാതികളോടും മാനസാന്തരപ്പെട്ടു ദൈവത്തിങ്കലേക്കു തിരിഞ്ഞു മാനസാന്തരത്തിന്നു യോഗ്യമായ പ്രവൃത്തികൾ ചെയ്യേണം എന്നു പ്രസംഗിച്ചു.

English: For these causes the Jews caught me in the temple, and went about to kill me.

Malayalam: ഇതു നിമിത്തം യെഹൂദന്മാർ ദൈവാലയത്തിൽ വെച്ചു എന്നെ പിടിച്ചു കൊല്ലുവാൻ ശ്രമിച്ചു.

English: Having therefore obtained help of God, I continue unto this day, witnessing both to small and great, saying no other things than those which the prophets and Moses did say should come:

Malayalam: എന്നാൽ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ സഹായം ലഭിക്കയാൽ ഞാൻ ഇന്നുവരെ നിൽക്കയും ചെറിയവരോടും വലിയവരോടും സാക്ഷ്യം പറഞ്ഞു പോരുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.

English: That Christ should suffer, and that he should be the first that should rise from the dead, and should show light unto the people, and to the Gentiles.

Malayalam: ക്രിസ്തു കഷ്ടം അനുഭവിക്കയും മരിച്ചവരുടെ പുനരുത്ഥാനത്തിൽ ആദ്യനായി ജനത്തോടും ജാതികളോടും വെളിച്ചം അറിയിക്കയും ചെയ്യും എന്നു പ്രവാചകന്മാരും മോശെയും ഭാവികാലത്തെക്കുറിച്ചു പ്രസ്താവിച്ചതൊഴികെ വേറെയൊന്നും ഞാൻ പറയുന്നില്ല.

English: And as he thus spoke for himself, Festus said with a loud voice, Paul, you are out of your mind; much learning does make you mad.

Malayalam: ഇങ്ങനെ പ്രതിവാദിക്കയിൽ ഫെസ്തൊസ്: പൌലൊസേ, നിനക്കു ഭ്രാന്തുണ്ടു; വിദ്യാ ബഹുത്വത്താൽ നിനക്കു ഭ്രാന്തു പിടിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു ഉറക്കെ പറഞ്ഞു.

English: But he said, I am not mad, most noble Festus; but speak forth the words of truth and soberness.

Malayalam: അതിന്നു പൌലൊസ്: രാജശ്രീ ഫെസ്തൊസേ, എനിക്കു ഭ്രാന്തില്ല; ഞാൻ സത്യവും സുബോധവുമായ വാക്കത്രേ സംസാരിക്കുന്നതു.

English: For the king knows of these things, before whom also I speak freely: for I am persuaded that none of these things are hidden from him; for this thing was not done in a corner.

Malayalam: രാജാവിന്നു ഇതിനെക്കുറിച്ചു അറിവുള്ളതുകൊണ്ടു അവനോടു ഞാൻ പ്രാഗത്ഭ്യത്തോടെ സംസാരിക്കുന്നു; അവന്നു ഇതു ഒന്നും മറവായിരിക്കുന്നില്ല എന്നു എനിക്കു നിശ്ചയമുണ്ടു; അതു ഒരു കോണിൽ നടന്നതല്ല.

English: King Agrippa, believe you the prophets? I know that you believe.

Malayalam: അഗ്രിപ്പാരാജാവേ, പ്രവാചകന്മാരെ വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നുവോ? വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നു എന്നു ഞാൻ അറിയുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

English: Then Agrippa said unto Paul, Almost you persuade me to be a Christian.

Malayalam: അഗ്രിപ്പാ പൌലൊസിനോടു: ഞാൻ ക്രിസ്ത്യാനിയായിത്തിരുവാൻ നീ എന്നെ അല്പംകൊണ്ടു സമ്മതിപ്പിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. - അതിന്നു പൌലൊസ്;

English: And Paul said, I would to God, that not only you, but also all that hear me this day, were both almost, and altogether such as I am, except these bonds.

Malayalam: നീ മാത്രമല്ല, ഇന്നു എന്റെ പ്രസംഗം കേൾക്കുന്നവർ എല്ലാവരും അല്പംകൊണ്ടാകട്ടെ അധികം കൊണ്ടാകട്ടെ ഈ ചങ്ങല ഒഴികെ എന്നെപ്പോലെ ആകേണം എന്നു ഞാൻ ദൈവത്തോടു അപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

English: And when he had thus spoken, the king rose up, and the governor, and Bernice, and they that sat with them:

Malayalam: അപ്പോൾ രാജാവും ദേശാധിപതിയും ബെർന്നീക്കയും അവരോടുകൂടെ ഇരുന്നവരും എഴുന്നേറ്റു മാറി നിന്നു:

English: And when they were gone aside, they talked between themselves, saying, This man does nothing worthy of death or of bonds.

Malayalam: ഈ മനുഷ്യൻ മരണത്തിന്നോ ചങ്ങലെക്കോ യോഗ്യമായതു ഒന്നും ചെയ്തിട്ടില്ല എന്നു തമ്മിൽ പറഞ്ഞു.

English: Then said Agrippa unto Festus, This man might have been set at liberty, if he had not appealed unto Caesar.

Malayalam: കൈസരെ അഭയം ചൊല്ലിയിരുന്നില്ലെങ്കിൽ അവനെ വിട്ടയപ്പാൻ കഴിയുമായിരുന്നു എന്നു അഗ്രിപ്പാവു ഫെസ്തൊസിനോടു പറഞ്ഞു.
