Zephaniah 3

English: Woe to her that is filthy and polluted, to the oppressing city!

Malayalam: മത്സരവും മലിനതയും ഉള്ളതും പീഡിപ്പിക്കുന്നതും ആയ നഗരത്തിന്നു അയ്യോ കഷ്ടം!

English: She obeyed not the voice; she received not correction; she trusted not in the LORD; she drew not near to her God.

Malayalam: അവൾ വാക്കു കേട്ടനുസരിച്ചിട്ടില്ല പ്രബോധനം കൈക്കൊണ്ടിട്ടില്ല; യഹോവയിൽ ആശ്രയിച്ചിട്ടില്ല; തന്റെ ദൈവത്തോടു അടുത്തുവന്നിട്ടുമില്ല.

English: Her princes within her are roaring lions; her judges are evening wolves; they gnaw not the bones till the next day.

Malayalam: അതിന്നകത്തു അതിന്റെ പ്രഭുക്കന്മാർ ഗർജ്ജിക്കുന്ന സിംഹങ്ങൾ; അതിന്റെ ന്യായാധിപതിമാർ വൈകുന്നേരത്തെ ചെന്നായ്ക്കൾ; അവർ പ്രഭാതകാലത്തേക്കു ഒന്നും ശേഷിപ്പിക്കുന്നില്ല.

English: Her prophets are light and treacherous persons: her priests have polluted the sanctuary, they have done violence to the law.

Malayalam: അതിന്റെ പ്രവാചകന്മാർ ലഘുബുദ്ധികളും വിശ്വാസപാതകന്മാരും ആകുന്നു; അതിന്റെ പുരോഹിതന്മാർ വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തെ അശുദ്ധമാക്കി, ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തെ ബലാൽക്കാരം ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

English: The just LORD is in the midst thereof; he will not do iniquity: every morning does he bring his judgment to light, he fails not; but the unjust knows no shame.

Malayalam: യഹോവ അതിന്റെ മദ്ധ്യേ നീതിമാനാകുന്നു അവൻ നീതികേടു ചെയ്യുന്നില്ല; രാവിലേരാവിലേ അവൻ തന്റെ ന്യായത്തെ തെറ്റാതെ വെളിച്ചത്താക്കുന്നു; നീതികെട്ടവനോ നാണം എന്തെന്നറിഞ്ഞുകൂടാ.

English: I have cut off the nations: their towers are desolate; I made their streets waste, that none passes by: their cities are destroyed, so that there is no man, that there is none inhabitant.

Malayalam: ഞാൻ ജാതികളെ ഛേദിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു; അവരുടെ കൊത്തളങ്ങൾ ശൂന്യമായിരിക്കുന്നു; ഞാൻ അവരുടെ വീഥികളെ ആരും കടന്നുപോകാതവണ്ണം ശൂന്യമാക്കി, അവരുടെ പട്ടണങ്ങൾ ഒരു മനുഷ്യനും നിവാസിയും ഇല്ലാതെ നശിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

English: I said, Surely you will fear me, you will receive instruction; so their dwelling should not be cut off, howsoever I punished them: but they rose early, and corrupted all their doings.

Malayalam: നീ എന്നെ ഭയപ്പെട്ടു പ്രബോധനം കൈക്കൊൾക എന്നു ഞാൻ കല്പിച്ചു; എന്നാൽ ഞാൻ അവളെ സന്ദർശിച്ചതുപോലെ ഒക്കെയും അവളുടെ പാർപ്പിടം ഛേദിക്കപ്പെടുകയില്ലായിരുന്നു; എങ്കിലും അവർ ജാഗ്രതയോടെ തങ്ങളുടെ ദുഷ്‌പ്രവൃത്തികൾ ഒക്കെയും ചെയ്തുപോന്നു.

English: Therefore wait all of you upon me, says the LORD, until the day that I rise up to the prey: for my determination is to gather the nations, that I may assemble the kingdoms, to pour upon them mine indignation, even all my fierce anger: for all the earth shall be devoured with the fire of my jealousy.

Malayalam: അതുകൊണ്ടു ഞാൻ സാക്ഷിയായി എഴുന്നേല്ക്കുന്ന ദിവസംവരെ എനിക്കായി കാത്തിരിപ്പിൻ എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു; എന്റെ ക്രോധവും എന്റെ ഉഗ്രകോപവും പകരേണ്ടതിന്നു ജാതികളെ ചേർക്കുവാനും രാജ്യങ്ങളെ കൂട്ടുവാനും ഞാൻ നിർണ്ണയിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; സർവ്വഭൂമിയും എന്റെ തീക്ഷ്ണതാഗ്നിക്കു ഇരയായ്തീരും.

English: For then will I turn to the people a pure language, that they may all call upon the name of the LORD, to serve him with one consent.

Malayalam: അപ്പോൾ സകല ജാതികളും യഹോവയുടെ നാമത്തെ വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിച്ചു ഏകമനസ്സോടെ അവനെ സേവിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാൻ അവർക്കു നിർമ്മലമായുള്ള അധരങ്ങളെ വരുത്തും.

English: From beyond the rivers of Ethiopia my suppliants, even the daughter of my dispersed, shall bring mine offering.

Malayalam: കൂശ് നദികളുടെ അക്കരെനിന്നു എന്റെ നമസ്കാരികൾ, എന്റെ ചിതറിപ്പോയവരുടെ സഭതന്നേ, എനിക്കു വഴിപാടു കൊണ്ടുവരും.

English: In that day shall you not be ashamed for all your doings, wherein you have transgressed against me: for then I will take away out of the midst of you them that rejoice in your pride, and you shall no more be haughty because of my holy mountain.

Malayalam: അന്നാളിൽ ഞാൻ നിന്റെ മദ്ധ്യേനിന്നു നിന്റെ ഗർവ്വോല്ലസിതന്മാരെ നീക്കിക്കളയും നീ എന്റെ വിശുദ്ധപർവ്വതത്തിൽ ഇനി ഗർവ്വിക്കാതിരിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു നീ എന്നോടു അതിക്രമമായി ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്ന സകലപ്രവൃത്തികളും നിമിത്തം നീ അന്നാളിൽ ലജ്ജിക്കേണ്ടിവരികയില്ല.

English: I will also leave in the midst of you an afflicted and poor people, and they shall trust in the name of the LORD.

Malayalam: ഞാൻ നിന്റെ നടുവിൽ താഴ്മയും ദാരിദ്ര്യവും ഉള്ളോരു ജനത്തെ ശേഷിപ്പിക്കും; അവർ യഹോവയുടെ നാമത്തിൽ ശരണം പ്രാപിക്കും.

English: The remnant of Israel shall not do iniquity, nor speak lies; neither shall a deceitful tongue be found in their mouth: for they shall feed and lie down, and none shall make them afraid.

Malayalam: യിസ്രായേലിൽ ശേഷിപ്പുള്ളവർ നീതികേടു പ്രവർത്തിക്കയില്ല; ഭോഷ്കുപറകയുമില്ല; ചതിവുള്ള നാവു അവരുടെ വായിൽ ഉണ്ടാകയില്ല; അവർ മേഞ്ഞുകിടക്കും; ആരും അവരെ ഭയപ്പെടുത്തുകയുമില്ല.

English: Sing, O daughter of Zion; shout, O Israel; be glad and rejoice with all the heart, O daughter of Jerusalem.

Malayalam: സീയോൻ പുത്രിയേ, ഘോഷിച്ചാനന്ദിക്ക; യിസ്രായേലേ, ആർപ്പിടുക; യെരൂശലേം പുത്രിയേ, പൂർണ്ണഹൃദയത്തോടെ സന്തോഷിച്ചുല്ലസിക്ക.

English: The LORD has taken away your judgments, he has cast out yours enemy: the king of Israel, even the LORD, is in the midst of you: you shall not see evil any more.

Malayalam: യഹോവ നിന്റെ ന്യായവിധികളെ മാറ്റി, നിന്റെ ശത്രുവിനെ നീക്കിക്കളഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു; യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ രാജാവായ യഹോവ നിന്റെ മദ്ധ്യേ ഇരിക്കുന്നു; ഇനി നീ അനർത്ഥം കാണുകയില്ല.

English: In that day it shall be said to Jerusalem, Fear you not: and to Zion, Let not yours hands be slack.

Malayalam: അന്നാളിൽ അവർ യെരൂശലേമിനോടു: ഭയപ്പെടരുതെന്നും സീയോനോടു: അധൈര്യപ്പെടരുതെന്നും പറയും.

English: The LORD your God in the midst of you is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over you with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over you with singing.

Malayalam: നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ രക്ഷിക്കുന്ന വീരനായി നിന്റെ മദ്ധ്യേ ഇരിക്കുന്നു; അവൻ നിന്നിൽ അത്യന്തം സന്തോഷിക്കും; തന്റെ സ്നേഹത്തിൽ അവൻ മിണ്ടാതിരിക്കുന്നു; ഘോഷത്തോടെ അവൻ നിങ്കൽ ആനന്ദിക്കും.

English: I will gather them that are sorrowful for the solemn assembly, who are of you, to whom the reproach of it was a burden.

Malayalam: ലജ്ജാഭാരം വഹിച്ചവളായ നിനക്കുള്ളവരായി സംഘത്തെ വിട്ടു ദുഃഖിക്കുന്നവരെ ഞാൻ ചേർത്തുകൊള്ളും.

English: Behold, at that time I will undo all that afflict you: and I will save her that haltes, and gather her that was driven out; and I will get them praise and fame in every land where they have been put to shame.

Malayalam: നിന്നെ ക്ളേശിപ്പിക്കുന്ന ഏവരോടും ഞാൻ ആ കാലത്തു ഇടപെടും; മുടന്തിനടക്കുന്നതിനെ ഞാൻ രക്ഷിക്കയും ചിതറിപ്പോയതിനെ ശേഖരിക്കയും സർവ്വഭൂമിയിലും ലജ്ജനേരിട്ടവരെ പ്രശംസയും കീർത്തിയുമാക്കിത്തീർക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും.

English: At that time will I bring you again, even in the time that I gather you: for I will make you a name and a praise among all people of the earth, when I turn back your captivity before your eyes, says the LORD.

Malayalam: ആ കാലത്തു ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ വരുത്തുകയും ആ കാലത്തു ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ ശേഖരിക്കയും ചെയ്യും; നിങ്ങൾ കാൺകെ ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ പ്രവാസികളെ മടക്കിവരുത്തുമ്പോൾ ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ ഭൂമിയിലെ സകലജാതികളുടെയും ഇടയിൽ കീർത്തിയും പ്രശംസയും ആക്കിത്തീർക്കുമെന്നു യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.
