English: Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God,

Malayalam: ദൈവം തന്റെ പുത്രനും നമ്മുടെ കർത്താവുമായ യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിനെക്കുറിച്ചു

English: (Which he had promised before by his prophets in the holy scriptures,)

Malayalam: വിശുദ്ധരേഖകളിൽ തന്റെ പ്രവാചകന്മാർ മുഖാന്തരം മുമ്പുകൂട്ടി വാഗ്ദത്തം ചെയ്ത സുവിശേഷത്തിന്നായി വേർതിരിച്ചു വിളിക്കപ്പെട്ട അപ്പൊസ്തലനും യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ ദാസനുമായ പൌലൊസ്

English: Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh;

Malayalam: റോമയിൽ ദൈവത്തിന്നു പ്രിയരും വിളിക്കപ്പെട്ട വിശുദ്ധന്മാരുമായ എല്ലാവർക്കും എഴുതുന്നതു:

English: And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead:

Malayalam: നമ്മുടെ പിതാവായ ദൈവത്തിങ്കൽനിന്നും കർത്താവായ യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിങ്കൽനിന്നും നിങ്ങൾക്കു കൃപയും സമാധാനവും ഉണ്ടാകട്ടെ.

English: By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name:

Malayalam: ജഡം സംബന്ധിച്ചു ദാവീദിന്റെ സന്തതിയിൽനിന്നു ജനിക്കയും മരിച്ചിട്ടു ഉയിർത്തെഴുന്നേൽക്കയാൽ വിശുദ്ധിയുടെ ആത്മാവു സംബന്ധിച്ചു ദൈവപുത്രൻ എന്നു ശക്തിയോടെ നിർണ്ണയിക്കപ്പെടുകയും ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നവനാലല്ലോ ഞങ്ങൾ

English: Among whom are all of you also the called of Jesus Christ:

Malayalam: അവന്റെ നാമത്തിന്നായി സകലജാതികളുടെയും ഇടയിൽ വിശ്വാസത്തിന്നു അനുസരണം വരുത്തേണ്ടതിന്നു കൃപയും അപ്പൊസ്തലത്വവും പ്രാപിച്ചതു.

English: To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Malayalam: അവരിൽ യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിന്നായി വിളിക്കപ്പെട്ട നിങ്ങളും ഉൾപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.

English: First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, that your faith is spoken of throughout the whole world.

Malayalam: നിങ്ങളുടെ വിശ്വാസം സർവ്വലോകത്തിലും പ്രസിദ്ധമായിരിക്കുന്നതിനാൽ ഞാൻ ആദ്യം തന്നേ എന്റെ ദൈവത്തിന്നു യേശുക്രിസ്തുമുഖാന്തരം നിങ്ങൾക്കെല്ലാവർക്കും വേണ്ടി സ്തോത്രം ചെയ്യുന്നു.

English: For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of his Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers;

Malayalam: ഞാൻ ഇടവിടാതെ നിങ്ങളെ ഓർത്തുകൊണ്ടു ദൈവേഷ്ടത്താൽ എപ്പോൾ എങ്കിലും നിങ്ങളുടെ അടുക്കൽ വരുവാൻ സാധിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു എന്റെ പ്രാർത്ഥനയിൽ എപ്പോഴും യാചിക്കുന്നു

English: Making request, if by any means now at length I might have a prosperous journey by the will of God to come unto you.

Malayalam: എന്നുള്ളതിന്നു അവന്റെ പുത്രനെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള സുവിശേഷഘോഷണത്തിൽ ഞാൻ എന്റെ ആത്മാവിൽ ആരാധിക്കുന്ന ദൈവം എനിക്കു സാക്ഷി.

English: For I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift, to the end all of you may be established;

Malayalam: നിങ്ങളുടെ സ്ഥിരീകരണത്തിന്നായി ആത്മികവരം വല്ലതും നിങ്ങൾക്കു നല്കേണ്ടതിന്നു,

English: That is, that I may be comforted together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me.

Malayalam: അതായതു നിങ്ങൾക്കും എനിക്കും ഒത്തൊരുമിച്ചുള്ള വിശ്വാസത്താൽ നിങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ എനിക്കും ആശ്വാസം ലഭിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ കാണ്മാൻ വാഞ്ഛിക്കുന്നു.

English: Now I would not have you ignorant, brethren, that oftentimes I purposed to come unto you, (but was let until now,) that I might have some fruit among you also, even as among other Gentiles.

Malayalam: എന്നാൽ സഹോദരന്മാരേ, എനിക്കു ശേഷം ജാതികളിൽ എന്നപോലെ നിങ്ങളിലും വല്ല ഫലവും ഉണ്ടാകേണ്ടതിന്നു നിങ്ങളുടെ അടുക്കൽ വരുവാൻ പലപ്പോഴും ഭാവിച്ചു എങ്കിലും ഇതുവരെ മുടക്കം വന്നു എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ അറിയാതിരിക്കരുതു എന്നു ഞാൻ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നു.

English: I am debtor both to the Greeks, and to the Barbarians; both to the wise, and to the unwise.

Malayalam: യവനന്മാർക്കും ബർബരന്മാർക്കും ജ്ഞാനികൾക്കും ബുദ്ധിഹീനർക്കും ഞാൻ കടക്കാരൻ ആകുന്നു.

English: So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel to you that are at Rome also.

Malayalam: അങ്ങനെ റോമയിലുള്ള നിങ്ങളോടും സുവിശേഷം അറിയിപ്പാൻ എന്നാൽ ആവോളം ഞാൻ ഒരുങ്ങിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

English: For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believes; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

Malayalam: സുവിശേഷത്തെക്കുറിച്ചു എനിക്കു ലജ്ജയില്ല; വിശ്വസിക്കുന്ന ഏവന്നും ആദ്യം യെഹൂദന്നും പിന്നെ യവനവന്നും അതു രക്ഷെക്കായി ദൈവശക്തിയാകുന്നുവല്ലോ.

English: For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

Malayalam: അതിൽ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ നീതി വിശ്വാസം ഹേതുവായും വിശ്വാസത്തിന്നായിക്കൊണ്ടും വെളിപ്പെടുന്നു. “നീതിമാൻ വിശ്വാസത്താൽ ജീവിക്കും” എന്നു എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ.

English: For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;

Malayalam: അനീതികൊണ്ടു സത്യത്തെ തടുക്കുന്ന മനുഷ്യരുടെ സകല അഭക്തിക്കും അനീതിക്കും നേരെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ കോപം സ്വർഗ്ഗത്തിൽ നിന്നു വെളിപ്പെടുന്നു.

English: Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God has showed it unto them.

Malayalam: ദൈവത്തെക്കുറിച്ചു അറിയാകുന്നതു അവർക്കു വെളിവായിരിക്കുന്നു;

English: For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

Malayalam: ദൈവം അവർക്കു വെളിവാക്കിയല്ലോ. അവന്റെ നിത്യശക്തിയും ദിവ്യത്വവുമായി അവന്റെ അദൃശ്യലക്ഷണങ്ങൾ ലോകസൃഷ്ടിമുതൽ അവന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തികളാൽ ബുദ്ധിക്കു തെളിവായി വെളിപ്പെട്ടുവരുന്നു; അവർക്കു പ്രതിവാദമില്ലാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു തന്നേ.

English: Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

Malayalam: അവർ ദൈവത്തെ അറിഞ്ഞിട്ടും അവനെ ദൈവമെന്നു ഓർത്തു മഹത്വീകരിക്കയോ നന്ദി കാണിക്കയോ ചെയ്യാതെ തങ്ങളുടെ നിരൂപണങ്ങളിൽ വ്യർത്ഥരായിത്തീർന്നു, അവരുടെ വിവേകമില്ലാത്ത ഹൃദയം ഇരുണ്ടുപോയി.

English: Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

Malayalam: ജ്ഞാനികൾ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞുകൊണ്ടു അവർ മൂഢരായിപ്പോയി;

English: And changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and four-footed beasts, and creeping things.

Malayalam: അക്ഷയനായ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ തേജസ്സിനെ അവർ ക്ഷയമുള്ള മനുഷ്യൻ, പക്ഷി, നാൽക്കാലി, ഇഴജാതി എന്നിവയുടെ രൂപസാദൃശ്യമായി മാറ്റിക്കളഞ്ഞു.

English: Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:

Malayalam: അതുകൊണ്ടു ദൈവം അവരെ തങ്ങളുടെ ഹൃദയങ്ങളിലെ മോഹങ്ങളിൽ സ്വന്തശരീരങ്ങളെ തമ്മിൽ തമ്മിൽ അവമാനിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അശുദ്ധിയിൽ ഏല്പിച്ചു.

English: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

Malayalam: ദൈവത്തിന്റെ സത്യം അവർ വ്യാജമാക്കി മാറ്റിക്കളഞ്ഞു, സൃഷ്ടിച്ചവനെക്കാൾ സൃഷ്ടിയെ ഭജിച്ചു ആരാധിച്ചു; അവൻ എന്നേക്കും വാഴ്ത്തപ്പെട്ടവൻ, ആമേൻ.

English: For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:

Malayalam: അതുകൊണ്ടു ദൈവം അവരെ അവമാനരാഗങ്ങളിൽ ഏല്പിച്ചു; അവരുടെ സ്ത്രീകൾ സ്വാഭാവികഭോഗത്തെ സ്വഭാവവിരുദ്ധമാക്കിക്കളഞ്ഞു.

English: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

Malayalam: അവ്വണ്ണം പുരുഷന്മാരും സ്വാഭാവികസ്ത്രീഭോഗം വിട്ടു അന്യോന്യം കാമം ജ്വലിച്ചു ആണോടു ആൺ അവലക്ഷണമായതു പ്രവർത്തിച്ചു. ഇങ്ങനെ അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ വിഭ്രമത്തിന്നു യോഗ്യമായ പ്രതിഫലം തങ്ങളിൽ തന്നേ പ്രാപിച്ചു.

English: And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

Malayalam: ദൈവത്തെ പരിജ്ഞാനത്തിൽ ധരിപ്പാൻ ഇഷ്ടമില്ലാഞ്ഞതിന്നു തക്കവണ്ണം ദൈവം അവരെ ഉചിതമല്ലാത്തതു ചെയ്‍വാൻ നികൃഷ്ടബുദ്ധിയിൽ ഏല്പിച്ചു.

English: Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, ill will; whisperers,

Malayalam: അവർ സകല അനീതിയും ദുഷ്ടതയും അത്യാഗ്രഹവും ദുർബ്ബുദ്ധിയും നിറഞ്ഞവർ; അസൂയ, കുല, പിണക്കം, കപടം, ദുശ്ശീലം എന്നിവ തിങ്ങിയവർ,

English: Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,

Malayalam: കുരളക്കാർ, ഏഷണിക്കാർ, ദൈവദ്വേഷികൾ, നിഷ്ഠൂരന്മാർ, ഗർവ്വിഷ്ഠന്മാർ, ആത്മപ്രശംസക്കാർ, പുതുദോഷം സങ്കല്പിക്കുന്നവർ, മാതാപിതാക്കന്മാരെ അനുസരിക്കാത്തവർ,

English: Without understanding, covenant-breakers, without natural affection, refusing to reconcile, unmerciful:

Malayalam: ബുദ്ധിഹീനർ, നിയമലംഘികൾ, വാത്സല്യമില്ലാത്തവർ, കനിവറ്റവർ

English: Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

Malayalam: ഈ വക പ്രവൃത്തിക്കുന്നവർ മരണയോഗ്യർ എന്നുള്ള ദൈവന്യായം അവർ അറിഞ്ഞിട്ടും അവയെ പ്രവർത്തിക്ക മാത്രമല്ല പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നവരിൽ പ്രസാദിക്കയുംകൂടെ ചെയ്യുന്നു.
