Psalms 83

English: Keep not you silence, O God: hold not your peace, and be not still, O God.

Malayalam: ദൈവമേ, മിണ്ടാതെയിരിക്കരുതേ; ദൈവമേ, മൌനമായും സ്വസ്ഥമായും ഇരിക്കരുതേ.

English: For, lo, yours enemies make a tumult: and they that hate you have lifted up the head.

Malayalam: ഇതാ, നിന്റെ ശത്രുക്കൾ കലഹിക്കുന്നു; നിന്നെ പകെക്കുന്നവർ തല ഉയർത്തുന്നു.

English: They have taken crafty counsel against your people, and consulted against your hidden ones.

Malayalam: അവർ നിന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ നേരെ ഉപായം വിചാരിക്കയും നിന്റെ ഗുപ്തന്മാരുടെ നേരെ ദുരാലോചന കഴിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.

English: They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.

Malayalam: വരുവിൻ, യിസ്രായേൽ ഒരു ജാതിയായിരിക്കാതവണ്ണം നാം അവരെ മുടിച്ചുകളക. അവരുടെ പേർ ഇനി ആരും ഓർക്കരുതു എന്നു അവർ പറഞ്ഞു.

English: For they have consulted together with one consent: they are confederate against you:

Malayalam: അവർ ഇങ്ങനെ ഐകമത്യത്തോടെ ആലോചിച്ചു, നിനക്കു വിരോധമായി സഖ്യത ചെയ്യുന്നു.

English: The tabernacles of Edom, and the Ishmaelites; of Moab, and the Hagarenes;

Malayalam: ഏദോമ്യരുടെയും യിശ്മായേല്യരുടെയും കൂടാരങ്ങളും മോവാബ്യരും ഹഗർയ്യരും കൂടെ,

English: Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek; the Philistines with the inhabitants of Tyre;

Malayalam: ഗെബാലും അമ്മോനും അമാലേക്കും, ഫെലിസ്ത്യദേശവും സോർനിവാസികളും;

English: Assur also is joined with them: they have helped the children of Lot. Selah.

Malayalam: അശ്ശൂരും അവരോടു യോജിച്ചു; അവർ ലോത്തിന്റെ മക്കൾക്കു സഹായമായിരുന്നു സേലാ.

English: Do unto them as unto the Midianites; as to Sisera, as to Jabin, at the brook of Kison:

Malayalam: മിദ്യാന്യരോടു ചെയ്തതുപോലെ അവരോടു ചെയ്യേണമേ; കീശോൻ തോട്ടിങ്കൽവെച്ചു സീസരയോടും യാബീനോടും ചെയ്തതുപോലെ തന്നേ.

English: Which perished at Endor: they became as dung for the earth.

Malayalam: അവർ എൻ ദോരിൽവെച്ചു നശിച്ചുപോയി; അവർ നിലത്തിന്നു വളമായി തീർന്നു.

English: Make their nobles like Oreb, and like Zeeb: yea, all their princes as Zebah, and as Zalmunna:

Malayalam: അവരുടെ കുലീനന്മാരെ ഓരേബ്, സേബ് എന്നവരെപ്പോലെയും അവരുടെ സകലപ്രഭുക്കന്മാരെയും സേബഹ്, സല്മൂന്നാ എന്നവരെപ്പോലെയും ആക്കേണമേ.

English: Who said, Let us take to ourselves the houses of God in possession.

Malayalam: നാം ദൈവത്തിന്റെ നിവാസങ്ങളെ നമുക്കു അവകാശമാക്കിക്കൊള്ളുക എന്നു അവർ പറഞ്ഞുവല്ലോ.

English: O my God, make them like a wheel; as the stubble before the wind.

Malayalam: എന്റെ ദൈവമേ, അവരെ ചുഴലിക്കാറ്റത്തെ പൊടിപോലെയും കാറ്റത്തു പാറുന്ന പതിർപോലെയും ആക്കേണമേ.

English: As the fire burns a wood, and as the flame sets the mountains on fire;

Malayalam: വനത്തെ ദഹിപ്പിക്കുന്ന തീപോലെയും പർവ്വതങ്ങളെ ചുട്ടുകളയുന്ന അഗ്നിജ്വാലപോലെയും

English: So persecute them with your tempest, and make them afraid with your storm.

Malayalam: നിന്റെ കൊടുങ്കാറ്റുകൊണ്ടു അവരെ പിന്തുടരേണമേ; നിന്റെ ചുഴലിക്കാറ്റുകൊണ്ടു അവരെ ഭ്രമിപ്പിക്കേണമേ.

English: Fill their faces with shame; that they may seek your name, O LORD.

Malayalam: യഹോവേ, അവർ തിരുനാമത്തെ അന്വേഷിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നീ അവരുടെ മുഖത്തെ ലജ്ജാപൂർണ്ണമാക്കേണമേ.

English: Let them be confounded and troubled for ever; yea, let them be put to shame, and perish:

Malayalam: അവർ എന്നേക്കും ലജ്ജിച്ചു ഭ്രമിക്കയും നാണിച്ചു നശിച്ചുപോകയും ചെയ്യട്ടെ.

English: That men may know that you, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, are the most high over all the earth.

Malayalam: അങ്ങനെ അവർ യഹോവ എന്നു നാമമുള്ള നീ മാത്രം സർവ്വഭൂമിക്കുംമീതെ അത്യുന്നതൻ എന്നു അറിയും.
