Micah 1

English: The word of the LORD that came to Micah the Morasthite in the days of Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, which he saw concerning Samaria and Jerusalem.

Malayalam: യോഥാം, ആഹാസ്, യെഹിസ്കീയാവു എന്നീ യെഹൂദാരാജാക്കന്മാരുടെ കാലത്തു മോരസ്ത്യനായ മീഖെക്കു ഉണ്ടായതും അവൻ ശമർയ്യയെയും യെരൂശലേമിനെയും കുറിച്ചു ദർശിച്ചതുമായ യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

English: Hear, all you people; hearken, O earth, and all that therein is: and let the Lord GOD be witness against you, the LORD from his holy temple.

Malayalam: സകലജാതികളുമായുള്ളോരേ, കേൾപ്പിൻ; ഭൂമിയും അതിലുള്ള സകലവുമായുള്ളോവേ, ചെവിക്കൊൾവിൻ; യഹോവയായ കർത്താവു, തന്റെ വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തിൽനിന്നു കർത്താവു തന്നേ, നിങ്ങൾക്കു വിരോധമായി സാക്ഷിയായിരിക്കട്ടെ.

English: For, behold, the LORD comes forth out of his place, and will come down, and tread upon the high places of the earth.

Malayalam: യഹോവ തന്റെ സ്ഥലത്തു നിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടു ഇറങ്ങി ഭൂമിയുടെ ഉന്നതികളിന്മേൽ നടകൊള്ളുന്നു.

English: And the mountains shall be molten under him, and the valleys shall be cleft, as wax before the fire, and as the waters that are poured down a steep place.

Malayalam: തീയുടെ മുമ്പിൽ മെഴുകുപോലെയും കിഴുക്കാന്തൂക്കത്തിൽ ചാടുന്ന വെള്ളംപോലെയും പർവ്വതങ്ങൾ അവന്റെ കീഴിൽ ഉരുകുകയും താഴ്വരകൾ പിളർന്നുപോകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.

English: For the transgression of Jacob is all this, and for the sins of the house of Israel. What is the transgression of Jacob? is it not Samaria? and what are the high places of Judah? are they not Jerusalem?

Malayalam: ഇതൊക്കെയും യാക്കോബിന്റെ അതിക്രമം നിമിത്തവും യിസ്രായേൽഗൃഹത്തിന്റെ പാപങ്ങൾ നിമിത്തവുമാകുന്നു. യാക്കോബിന്റെ അതിക്രമം എന്തു? ശമർയ്യയല്ലയോ? യെഹൂദയുടെ പൂജാഗിരികൾ ഏവ?

English: Therefore I will make Samaria as an heap of the field, and as plantings of a vineyard: and I will pour down the stones thereof into the valley, and I will discover the foundations thereof.

Malayalam: യെരൂശലേം അല്ലയോ? അതുകൊണ്ടു ഞാൻ ശമർയ്യയെ വയലിലെ കല്ക്കുന്നുപോലെയും, മുന്തിരിത്തോട്ടത്തിലെ നടുതലപോലെയും ആക്കും; ഞാൻ അതിന്റെ കല്ലു താഴ്വരയിലേക്കു തള്ളിയിടുകയും അതിന്റെ അടിസ്ഥാനങ്ങളെ അനാവൃതമാക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും.

English: And all the graven images thereof shall be beaten to pieces, and all the hires thereof shall be burned with the fire, and all the idols thereof will I lay desolate: for she gathered it of the hire of an harlot, and they shall return to the hire of an harlot.

Malayalam: അതിലെ സകല വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളും തകർന്നു പോകും; അതിന്റെ സകല വേശ്യാസമ്മാനങ്ങളും തീ പിടിച്ചു വെന്തുപോകും; അതിലെ സകല ബിംബങ്ങളെയും ഞാൻ ശൂന്യമാക്കും; വേശ്യാസമ്മാനംകൊണ്ടല്ലോ അവൾ അതു സ്വരൂപിച്ചതു; അവ വീണ്ടും വേശ്യാ സമ്മാനമായിത്തീരും.

English: Therefore I will wail and wail, I will go stripped and naked: I will make a wailing like the dragons, and mourning as the owls.

Malayalam: അതുകൊണ്ടു ഞാൻ വിലപിച്ചു മുറയിടും; ഞാൻ ചെരിപ്പില്ലാത്തവനും നഗ്നനുമായി നടക്കും; ഞാൻ കുറുനരികളെപ്പോലെ വിലപിച്ചു, ഒട്ടകപ്പക്ഷികളെപ്പോലെ കരയും.

English: For her wound is incurable; for it has come unto Judah; he has come unto the gate of my people, even to Jerusalem.

Malayalam: അവളുടെ മുറിവു പൊറുക്കാത്തതല്ലോ; അതു യെഹൂദയോളം പരന്നു, എന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ ഗോപുരമായ യെരൂശലേമിനോളം എത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

English: Declare all of you it not at Gath, weep all of you not at all: in the house of Aphrah roll yourself in the dust.

Malayalam: അതു ഗത്തിൽ പ്രസ്താവിക്കരുതു; ഒട്ടും കരയരുതു; ബേത്ത്-അഫ്രയിൽ (പൊടിവീടു) ഞാൻ പൊടിയിൽ ഉരുണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.

English: Pass all of you away, you inhabitant of Saphir, having your shame naked: the inhabitant of Zaanan came not forth in the mourning of Bethezel; he shall receive of you his standing.

Malayalam: ശാഫീർ (അലങ്കാര) നഗരനിവാസികളേ, ലജ്ജയും നഗ്നതയും പൂണ്ടു കടന്നുപോകുവിൻ; സയനാൻ (പുറപ്പാടു) നിവാസികൾ പുറപ്പെടുവാൻ തുനിയുന്നില്ല; ബേത്ത്--ഏസെലിന്റെ വിലാപം നിങ്ങൾക്കു അവിടെ താമസിപ്പാൻ മുടക്കമാകും.

English: For the inhabitant of Maroth waited carefully for good: but evil came down from the LORD unto the gate of Jerusalem.

Malayalam: യഹോവയുടെ പക്കൽനിന്നു യെരൂശലേംഗോപുരത്തിങ്കൽ തിന്മ ഇറങ്ങിയിരിക്കയാൽ മാരോത്ത് (കൈപ്പു) നിവാസികൾ നന്മെക്കായി കാത്തു പിടെക്കുന്നു.

English: O you inhabitant of Lachish, bind the chariot to the swift beast: she is the beginning of the sin to the daughter of Zion: for the transgressions of Israel were found in you.

Malayalam: ലാക്കീശ് (ത്വരിത) നഗരനിവാസികളേ, തുരഗങ്ങളെ രഥത്തിന്നു കെട്ടുവിൻ; അവർ സീയോൻ പുത്രിക്കു പാപകാരണമായ്തീർന്നു; യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ അതിക്രമങ്ങൾ നിന്നിൽ കണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.

English: Therefore shall you give presents to Moreshethgath: the houses of Achzib shall be a lie to the kings of Israel.

Malayalam: അതുകൊണ്ടു നീ മോരേശെത്ത്-ഗത്തിന്നു ഉപേക്ഷണസമ്മാനം കൊടുക്കേണ്ടിവരും; ബേത്ത്-അക്സീബിലെ (വ്യാജഗൃഹം) വീടുകൾ യിസ്രായേൽരാജാക്കന്മാർക്കു ആശാഭംഗമായി ഭവിക്കും.

English: Yet will I bring an heir unto you, O inhabitant of Mareshah: he shall come unto Adullam the glory of Israel.

Malayalam: മാരേശാ (കൈവശം) നിവാസികളേ, കൈവശമാക്കുന്ന ഒരുത്തനെ ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ നേരെ വരുത്തും; യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ മഹത്തുക്കൾ അദുല്ലാമോളം ചെല്ലേണ്ടിവരും.

English: Make you bald, and poll you for your delicate children; enlarge your baldness as the eagle; for they are gone into captivity from you.

Malayalam: നിന്റെ ഓമനക്കുഞ്ഞുകൾനിമിത്തം നിന്നെത്തന്നെ ക്ഷൌരംചെയ്തു മൊട്ടയാക്കുക; കഴുകനെപ്പോലെ നിന്റെ കഷണ്ടിയെ വിസ്താരമാക്കുക; അവർ നിന്നെ വിട്ടു പ്രവാസത്തിലേക്കു പോയല്ലോ.
