Matthew 10

English: And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.

Malayalam: അനന്തരം അവൻ തന്റെ പന്ത്രണ്ടു ശിഷ്യന്മാരെയും അടുക്കൽ വിളിച്ചു, അശുദ്ധാത്മാക്കളെ പുറത്താക്കുവാനും സകലവിധ ദീനവും വ്യാധിയും പൊറുപ്പിപ്പാനും അവർക്കു അധികാരം കൊടുത്തു.

English: Now the names of the twelve apostles are these; The first, Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother; James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother;

Malayalam: പന്ത്രണ്ടു അപ്പൊസ്തലന്മാരുടെ പേരാവിതു: ഒന്നാമൻ പത്രൊസ് എന്നു പേരുള്ള ശിമോൻ, അവന്റെ സഹോദരൻ അന്ത്രെയാസ്, സെബെദിയുടെ മകൻ യാക്കോബ്,

English: Philip, and Bartholomew; Thomas, and Matthew the publican; James the son of Alphaeus, and Lebbaeus, whose surname was Thaddaeus;

Malayalam: അവന്റെ സഹോദരൻ യോഹന്നാൻ, ഫിലിപ്പൊസ്, ബർത്തൊലൊമായി, തോമസ്, ചുങ്കക്കാരൻ മത്തായി, അല്ഫായുടെ മകൻ യാക്കോബ്,

English: Simon the Canaanite, and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed him.

Malayalam: തദ്ദായി, ശിമോൻ, യേശുവിനെ കാണിച്ചുകൊടുത്ത ഈസ്കര്യോത്താ യൂദാ.

English: These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter all of you not:

Malayalam: ഈ പന്ത്രണ്ടുപേരെയും യേശു അയക്കുമ്പോൾ അവരോടു ആജ്ഞാപിച്ചതെന്തെന്നാൽ: “ജാതികളുടെ അടുക്കൽ പോകാതെയും ശമര്യരുടെ പട്ടണത്തിൽ കടക്കാതെയും

English: But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

Malayalam: യിസ്രായേൽ ഗൃഹത്തിലെ കാണാതെ പോയ ആടുകളുടെ അടുക്കൽ തന്നേ ചെല്ലുവിൻ.

English: And as all of you go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.

Malayalam: നിങ്ങൾ പോകുമ്പോൾ: സ്വർഗ്ഗരാജ്യം സമീപിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു ഘോഷിപ്പിൻ.

English: Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely all of you have received, freely give.

Malayalam: രോഗികളെ സൌഖ്യമാക്കുവിൻ; മരിച്ചവരെ ഉയിർപ്പിപ്പിൻ; കുഷ്ഠരോഗികളെ ശുദ്ധമാക്കുവിൻ; ഭൂതങ്ങളെ പുറത്താക്കുവിൻ; സൌജന്യമായി നിങ്ങൾക്കു ലഭിച്ചു സൌജന്യമായി കൊടുപ്പിൻ.

English: Provide neither gold, nor silver, nor brass in your purses,

Malayalam: മടിശ്ശീലയിൽ പൊന്നും വെള്ളിയും ചെമ്പും

English: Nor pouch for your journey, neither two coats, neither shoes, nor yet staves: for the workman is worthy of his food.

Malayalam: വഴിക്കു പൊക്കണവും രണ്ടു ഉടുപ്പും ചെരിപ്പും വടിയും കരുതരുതു; വേലക്കാരൻ തന്റെ ആഹാരത്തിന്നു യോഗ്യനല്ലോ

English: And into whatsoever city or town all of you shall enter, enquire who in it is worthy; and there abide till all of you go thence.

Malayalam: ഏതു പട്ടണത്തിലോ ഗ്രാമത്തിലോ കടക്കുമ്പോൾ അവിടെ യോഗ്യൻ ആർ എന്നു അന്വേഷിപ്പിൻ; പുറപ്പെടുവോളം അവിടത്തന്നേ പാർപ്പിൻ.

English: And when all of you come into an house, salute it.

Malayalam: ആ വീട്ടിൽ ചെല്ലുമ്പോൾ അതിന്നു വന്ദനം പറവിൻ.

English: And if the house be worthy, let your peace come upon it: but if it be not worthy, let your peace return to you.

Malayalam: വീട്ടിന്നു യോഗ്യതയുണ്ടെങ്കിൽ നിങ്ങളുടെ സമാധാനം അതിന്മേൽ വരട്ടെ; യോഗ്യതയില്ല എന്നു വരികിൽ സമാധാനം നിങ്ങളിലേക്കു മടങ്ങിപ്പോരട്ടെ.

English: And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when all of you depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet.

Malayalam: ആരെങ്കിലും നിങ്ങളെ കൈക്കൊള്ളാതെയും നിങ്ങളുടെ വചനങ്ങളെ കേൾക്കാതെയുമിരുന്നാൽ ആ വീടോ പട്ടണമോ വിട്ടു പോകുമ്പോൾ നിങ്ങളുടെ കാലിലെ പൊടി തട്ടിക്കളവിൻ.

English: Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.

Malayalam: ന്യായവിധിദിവസത്തിൽ ആ പട്ടണത്തെക്കാൾ സൊദോമ്യരുടേയും ഗമോര്യരുടെയും ദേശത്തിന്നു സഹിക്കാവതാകും എന്നു ഞാൻ സത്യമായിട്ടു നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു.

English: Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be all of you therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.

Malayalam: ചെന്നായ്ക്കളുടെ നടുവിൽ ആടിനെപ്പോലെ ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ അയക്കുന്നു. ആകയാൽ പാമ്പിനെപ്പോലെ ബുദ്ധിയുള്ളവരും പ്രാവിനെപ്പോലെ കളങ്കമില്ലാത്തവരും ആയിരിപ്പിൻ.

English: But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues;

Malayalam: മനുഷ്യരെ സൂക്ഷിച്ചുകൊൾവിൻ; അവർ നിങ്ങളെ ന്യായാധിപസഭകളിൽ ഏല്പിക്കയും തങ്ങളുടെ പള്ളികളിൽവെച്ചു ചമ്മട്ടികൊണ്ടു അടിക്കയും

English: And all of you shall be brought before governors and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them and the Gentiles.

Malayalam: എന്റെ നിമിത്തം നാടുവാഴികൾക്കും രാജാക്കന്മാർക്കും മുമ്പിൽ കൊണ്ടുപോകയും ചെയ്യും; അതു അവർക്കും ജാതികൾക്കും ഒരു സാക്ഷ്യം ആയിരിക്കും.

English: But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what all of you shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what all of you shall speak.

Malayalam: എന്നാൽ നിങ്ങളെ ഏല്പിക്കുമ്പോൾ എങ്ങനെയോ എന്തോ പറയേണ്ടു എന്നു വിചാരപ്പെടേണ്ടാ; പറവാനുള്ളതു ആ നാഴികയിൽ തന്നേ നിങ്ങൾക്കു ലഭിക്കും.

English: For it is not all of you that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaks in you.

Malayalam: പറയുന്നതു നിങ്ങൾ അല്ല, നിങ്ങളിൽ പറയുന്ന നിങ്ങളുടെ പിതാവിന്റെ ആത്മാവത്രേ.

English: And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death.

Malayalam: സഹോദരൻ സഹോദരനെയും അപ്പൻ മകനെയും മരണത്തിന്നു ഏല്പിക്കും; അമ്മയപ്പന്മാർക്കു എതിരായി മക്കൾ എഴുന്നേറ്റു അവരെ കൊല്ലിക്കും.

English: And all of you shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endures to the end shall be saved.

Malayalam: എന്റെ നാമം നിമിത്തം എല്ലാവരും നിങ്ങളെ പകെക്കും; അവസാനത്തോളം സഹിച്ചുനില്ക്കുന്നവനോ രക്ഷിക്കപ്പെടും.

English: But when they persecute you in this city, flee all of you into another: for verily I say unto you, All of you shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come.

Malayalam: എന്നാൽ ഒരു പട്ടണത്തിൽ നിങ്ങളെ ഉപദ്രവിച്ചാൽ മറ്റൊന്നിലേക്കു ഓടിപ്പോകുവിൻ. മനുഷ്യപുത്രൻ വരുവോളം നിങ്ങൾ യിസ്രായേൽ പട്ടണങ്ങളെ സഞ്ചരിച്ചു തീരുകയില്ല എന്നു ഞാൻ സത്യമായിട്ടു നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു.

English: The disciple is not above his master, nor the servant above his lord.

Malayalam: ശിഷ്യൻ ഗുരുവിന്മീതെയല്ല; ദാസൻ യജമാനന്നു മീതെയുമല്ല;

English: It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of his household?

Malayalam: ഗുരുവിനെപ്പോലെയാകുന്നതു ശിഷ്യന്നു മതി; യജമാനനെപ്പോലെയാകുന്നതു ദാസന്നും മതി. അവർ വീട്ടുടയവനെ ബെയെത്സെബൂൽ എന്നു വിളിച്ചു എങ്കിൽ വീട്ടുകാരെ എത്ര അധികം?

English: Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known.

Malayalam: അതു കൊണ്ടു അവരെ ഭയപ്പെടേണ്ടാ; മറെച്ചുവെച്ചതു ഒന്നും വെളിപ്പെടാതെയും ഗൂഢമായതു ഒന്നും അറിയാതെയും ഇരിക്കുകയില്ല.

English: What I tell you in darkness, that speak all of you in light: and what all of you hear in the ear, that preach all of you upon the housetops.

Malayalam: ഞാൻ ഇരുട്ടത്തു നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നതു വെളിച്ചത്തു പറവിൻ; ചെവിയിൽ പറഞ്ഞുകേൾക്കുന്നതു പുരമുകളിൽനിന്നു ഘോഷിപ്പിൻ.

English: And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

Malayalam: ദേഹിയെ കൊല്ലുവാൻ കഴിയാതെ ദേഹത്തെ കൊല്ലുന്നവരെ ഭയപ്പെടേണ്ടാ; ദേഹിയെയും ദേഹത്തെയും നരകത്തിൽ നശിപ്പിപ്പാൻ കഴിയുന്നവനെ തന്നേ ഭയപ്പെടുവിൻ.

English: Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father.

Malayalam: കാശിന്നു രണ്ടു കുരികിൽ വിൽക്കുന്നില്ലയോ? അവയിൽ ഒന്നുപോലും നിങ്ങളുടെ പിതാവു സമ്മതിക്കാതെ നിലത്തു വീഴുകയില്ല.

English: But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.

Malayalam: എന്നാൽ നിങ്ങളുടെ തലയിലെ രോമവും എല്ലാം എണ്ണപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.

English: Fear all of you not therefore, all of you are of more value than many sparrows.

Malayalam: ആകയാൽ ഭയപ്പെടേണ്ടാ; ഏറിയ കുരികിലുകളെക്കാളും നിങ്ങൾ വിശേഷതയുള്ളവരല്ലോ.

English: Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.

Malayalam: മനുഷ്യരുടെ മുമ്പിൽ എന്നെ ഏറ്റുപറയുന്ന ഏവനെയും സ്വർഗ്ഗസ്ഥനായ എന്റെ പിതാവിൻ മുമ്പിൽ ഞാനും ഏറ്റുപറയും.

English: But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.

Malayalam: മനുഷ്യരുടെ മുമ്പിൽ എന്നെ തള്ളിപ്പറയുന്നവനെയോ എന്റെ പിതാവിൻ മുമ്പിൽ ഞാനും തള്ളിപ്പറയും.

English: Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.

Malayalam: ഞാൻ ഭൂമിയിൽ സമാധാനം വരുത്തുവാൻ വന്നു എന്നു നിരൂപിക്കരുതു; സമാധാനം അല്ല വാൾ അത്രേ വരുത്തുവാൻ ഞാൻ വന്നതു.

English: For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.

Malayalam: മനുഷ്യനെ തന്റെ അപ്പനോടും മകളെ അമ്മയോടും മരുമകളെ അമ്മാവിയമ്മയോടും ഭേദിപ്പിപ്പാനത്രേ ഞാൻ വന്നതു.

English: And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

Malayalam: മനുഷ്യന്റെ വീട്ടുകാർ തന്നേ അവന്റെ ശത്രുക്കൾ ആകും.

English: He that loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.

Malayalam: എന്നെക്കാൾ അധികം അപ്പനേയോ അമ്മയേയോ പ്രിയപ്പെടുന്നവൻ എനിക്കു യോഗ്യനല്ല; എന്നെക്കാൾ അധികം മകനെയോ മകളെയോ പ്രിയപ്പെടുന്നവൻ എനിക്കു യോഗ്യനല്ല.

English: And he that takes not his cross, and follows after me, is not worthy of me.

Malayalam: തന്റെ ക്രൂശു എടുത്തു എന്നെ അനുഗമിക്കാത്തവനും എനിക്കു യോഗ്യനല്ല.

English: He that finds his life shall lose it: and he that loses his life for my sake shall find it.

Malayalam: തന്റെ ജീവനെ കണ്ടെത്തിയവൻ അതിനെ കളയും; എന്റെ നിമിത്തം തന്റെ ജീവനെ കളഞ്ഞവൻ അതിനെ കണ്ടെത്തും.

English: He that receives you receives me, and he that receives me receives him that sent me.

Malayalam: നിങ്ങളെ കൈക്കൊള്ളുന്നവൻ എന്നെ കൈക്കൊള്ളുന്നു; എന്നെ കൈക്കൊള്ളുന്നവൻ എന്നെ അയച്ചവനെ കൈക്കൊള്ളുന്നു.

English: He that receives a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet's reward; and he that receives a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man's reward.

Malayalam: പ്രവാചകൻ എന്നുവെച്ചു പ്രവാചകനെ കൈക്കൊള്ളുന്നവന്നു പ്രവാചകന്റെ പ്രതിഫലം ലഭിക്കും. നീതിമാൻ എന്നുവെച്ചു നീതിമാനെ കൈക്കൊള്ളുന്നവന്നു നീതിമാന്റെ പ്രതിഫലം ലഭിക്കും.

English: And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward.

Malayalam: ശിഷ്യൻ എന്നു വെച്ചു ഈ ചെറിയവരിൽ ഒരുത്തന്നു ഒരു പാനപാത്രം തണ്ണീർ മാത്രം കുടിപ്പാൻ കൊടുക്കുന്നവന്നു പ്രതിഫലം കിട്ടാതെ പോകയില്ല എന്നു ഞാൻ സത്യമായിട്ടു നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു.”
