English
- 1In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the tomb.
- 2And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it.
- 3His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow:
- 4And for fear of him the keepers did shake, and became as dead men.
- 5And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not all of you: for I know that all of you seek Jesus, which was crucified.
- 6He is not here: for he has risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.
- 7And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he has risen from the dead; and, behold, he goes before you into Galilee; there shall all of you see him: lo, I have told you.
- 8And they departed quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy; and did run to bring his disciples word.
- 9And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and worshipped him.
- 10Then said Jesus unto them, Be not afraid: go tell my brethren that they go into Galilee, and there shall they see me.
- 11Now when they were going, behold, some of the watch came into the city, and showed unto the chief priests all the things that were done.
- 12And when they were assembled with the elders, and had taken counsel, they gave large money unto the soldiers,
- 13Saying, Say all of you, His disciples came by night, and stole him away while we slept.
- 14And if this come to the governor's ears, we will persuade him, and secure you.
- 15So they took the money, and did as they were taught: and this saying is commonly reported among the Jews until this day.
- 16Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them.
- 17And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted.
- 18And Jesus came and spoke unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
- 19Go all of you therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit:
- 20Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

- 1ശബ്ബത്തു കഴിഞ്ഞു ആഴ്ചവട്ടത്തിന്റെ ഒന്നാം ദിവസം വെളുക്കുമ്പോൾ മഗ്ദലക്കാരത്തി മറിയയും മറ്റെ മറിയയും കല്ലറ കാണ്മാൻ ചെന്നു.
- 2പെട്ടെന്നു വലിയോരു ഭൂകമ്പം ഉണ്ടായി; കർത്താവിന്റെ ദൂതൻ സ്വർഗ്ഗത്തിൽ നിന്നു ഇറങ്ങിവന്നു, കല്ലു ഉരുട്ടിനീക്കി അതിന്മേൽ ഇരുന്നിരുന്നു.
- 3അവന്റെ രൂപം മിന്നലിന്നു ഒത്തതും അവന്റെ ഉടുപ്പു ഹിമം പോലെ വെളുത്തതും ആയിരുന്നു.
- 4കാവൽക്കാർ അവനെ കണ്ടു പേടിച്ചു വിറെച്ചു മരിച്ചവരെപ്പോലെ ആയി.
- 5ദൂതൻ സ്ത്രീകളോടു: ഭയപ്പെടേണ്ടാ; ക്രൂശിക്കപ്പെട്ട യേശുവിനെ നിങ്ങൾ അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നു എന്നു ഞാൻ അറിയുന്നു;
- 6അവൻ ഇവിടെ ഇല്ല; താൻ പറഞ്ഞതുപോലെ ഉയിർത്തെഴുന്നേറ്റു; അവൻ കിടന്ന സ്ഥലം വന്നുകാണ്മിൻ
- 7അവൻ മരിച്ചവരുടെ ഇടയിൽനിന്നു ഉയിർത്തെഴുന്നേറ്റു എന്നു വേഗം ചെന്നു അവന്റെ ശിഷ്യന്മാരോടു പറവിൻ; അവൻ നിങ്ങൾക്കു മുമ്പെ ഗലീലെക്കു പോകുന്നു; അവിടെ നിങ്ങൾ അവനെ കാണും; ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടു പറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
- 8അങ്ങനെ അവർ വേഗത്തിൽ ഭയത്തോടും മഹാസന്തോഷത്തോടും കൂടി കല്ലറ വിട്ടു അവന്റെ ശിഷ്യന്മാരോടു അറിയിപ്പാൻ ഓടിപ്പോയി. എന്നാൽ യേശു അവരെ എതിരെറ്റു:
- 9“നിങ്ങൾക്കു വന്ദനം” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു; അവർ അടുത്തുചെന്നു അവന്റെ കാൽ പിടിച്ചു അവനെ നമസ്കരിച്ചു.
- 10യേശു അവരോടു: “ഭയപ്പെടേണ്ട; നിങ്ങൾ പോയി എന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാരോടു ഗലീലെക്കു പോകുവാൻ പറവിൻ; അവിടെ അവർ എന്നെ കാണും” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
- 11അവർ പോകുമ്പോൾ കാവൽക്കൂട്ടത്തിൽ ചിലർ നഗരത്തിൽ ചെന്നു സംഭവിച്ചതു എല്ലാം മഹാപുരോഹിതന്മാരോടു അറിയിച്ചു.
- 12അവർ ഒന്നിച്ചുകൂടി മൂപ്പന്മാരുമായി ആലോചനകഴിച്ചിട്ടു പടയാളികൾക്കു വേണ്ടുവോളം പണം കൊടുത്തു;
- 13അവന്റെ ശിഷ്യന്മാർ രാത്രിയിൽ വന്നു ഞങ്ങൾ ഉറങ്ങുമ്പോൾ അവനെ കട്ടുകൊണ്ടുപോയി എന്നു പറവിൻ.
- 14വസ്തുത നാടുവാഴിയുടെ സന്നിധാനത്തിൽ എത്തി എങ്കിലോ ഞങ്ങൾ അവനെ സമ്മതിപ്പിച്ചു നിങ്ങളെ നിർഭയരാക്കിക്കൊള്ളാം എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
- 15അവർ പണം വാങ്ങി ഉപദേശപ്രകാരം ചെയ്തു; ഈ കഥ ഇന്നുവരെ യെഹൂദന്മാരുടെ ഇടയിൽ പരക്കെ നടപ്പായിരിക്കുന്നു.
- 16എന്നാൽ പതിനൊന്നു ശിഷ്യന്മാർ ഗലീലയിൽ യേശു അവരോടു കല്പിച്ചിരുന്ന മലെക്കു പോയി.
- 17അവനെ കണ്ടപ്പോൾ അവർ നമസ്കരിച്ചു; ചിലരോ സംശയിച്ചു.
- 18യേശു അടുത്തുചെന്നു: “സ്വർഗ്ഗത്തിലും ഭൂമിയിലും സകല അധികാരവും എനിക്കു നല്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.
- 19ആകയാൽ നിങ്ങൾ പുറപ്പെട്ടു, പിതാവിന്റെയും പുത്രന്റെയും പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവിന്റെയും നാമത്തിൽ സ്നാനം കഴിപ്പിച്ചും ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടു കല്പിച്ചതു ഒക്കെയും പ്രമാണിപ്പാൻ തക്കവണ്ണം ഉപദേശിച്ചുംകൊണ്ടു സകലജാതികളെയും ശിഷ്യരാക്കിക്കൊൾവിൻ; ഞാനോ ലോകാവസാനത്തോളം എല്ലാനാളും നിങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ ഉണ്ടു” എന്നു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു.
