Leviticus 18

English: And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,

Malayalam: യഹോവ പിന്നെയും മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു:

English: Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, I am the LORD your God.

Malayalam: നീ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളോടു പറയേണ്ടതു എന്തെന്നാൽ: ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു;

English: After the doings of the land of Egypt, wherein all of you dwelt, shall all of you not do: and after the doings of the land of Canaan, where I bring you, shall all of you not do: neither shall all of you walk in their ordinances.

Malayalam: നിങ്ങൾ പാർത്തിരുന്ന മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തിലെ നടപ്പുപോലെ നിങ്ങൾ നടക്കരുതു; ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ കൊണ്ടുപോകുന്ന കനാൻ ദേശത്തിലെ നടപ്പുപോലെയും അരുതു; അവരുടെ മര്യാദ ആചരിക്കരുതു.

English: All of you shall do my judgments, and keep mine ordinances, to walk therein: I am the LORD your God.

Malayalam: എന്റെ വിധികളെ അനുസരിച്ചു എന്റെ ചട്ടങ്ങളെ പ്രമാണിച്ചു നടക്കേണം; ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു.

English: All of you shall therefore keep my statutes, and my judgments: which if a man do, he shall live in them: I am the LORD.

Malayalam: ആകയാൽ എന്റെ ചട്ടങ്ങളും ന്യായങ്ങളും നിങ്ങൾ പ്രമാണിക്കേണം; അവയെ ചെയ്യുന്ന മനുഷ്യൻ അവയാൽ ജീവിക്കും; ഞാൻ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു.

English: None of you shall approach to any that is near of kin to him, to uncover their nakedness: I am the LORD.

Malayalam: നിങ്ങളിൽ ആരും തനിക്കു രക്തസംബന്ധമുള്ള യാതൊരുത്തരുടെയും നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കുവാൻ തക്കവണ്ണം അവരോടു അടുക്കരുതു; ഞാൻ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു.

English: The nakedness of your father, or the nakedness of your mother, shall you not uncover: she is your mother; you shall not uncover her nakedness.

Malayalam: നിന്റെ അപ്പന്റെ നഗ്നതയും അമ്മയുടെ നഗ്നതയും അനാവൃതമാക്കരുതു. അവൾ നിന്റെ അമ്മയാകുന്നു; അവളുടെ നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കരുതു.

English: The nakedness of your father's wife shall you not uncover: it is your father's nakedness.

Malayalam: അപ്പന്റെ ഭാര്യയുടെ നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കരുതു; അതു നിന്റെ അപ്പന്റെ നഗ്നതയല്ലോ.

English: The nakedness of your sister, the daughter of your father, or daughter of your mother, whether she be born at home, or born abroad, even their nakedness you shall not uncover.

Malayalam: അപ്പന്റെ മകളോ അമ്മയുടെ മകളോ ആയ നിന്റെ സഹോദരിയുടെ നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കരുതു; വീട്ടിൽ ജനിച്ചവരായാലും പുറമെ ജനിച്ചവരായാലും അവരുടെ നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കരുതു.

English: The nakedness of your son's daughter, or of your daughter's daughter, even their nakedness you shall not uncover: for theirs is yours own nakedness.

Malayalam: നിന്റെ മകന്റെ മകളുടെ നഗ്നതയോ മകളുടെ മകളുടെ നഗ്നതയോ അനാവൃതമാക്കരുതു; അവരുടെ നഗ്നത നിന്റേതു തന്നേയല്ലോ.

English: The nakedness of your father's wife's daughter, begotten of your father, she is your sister, you shall not uncover her nakedness.

Malayalam: നിന്റെ അപ്പന്നു ജനിച്ചവളും അവന്റെ ഭാര്യയുടെ മകളുമായവളുടെ നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കരുതു; അവൾ നിന്റെ സഹോദരിയല്ലോ.

English: You shall not uncover the nakedness of your father's sister: she is your father's near kinswoman.

Malayalam: അപ്പന്റെ സഹോദരിയുടെ നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കരുതു; അവൾ അപ്പന്റെ അടുത്ത ചാർച്ചക്കാരത്തിയല്ലോ.

English: You shall not uncover the nakedness of your mother's sister: for she is your mother's near kinswoman.

Malayalam: അമ്മയുടെ സഹോദരിയുടെ നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കരുതു; അവൾ നിന്റെ അമ്മയുടെ അടുത്ത ചാർച്ചക്കാരത്തിയല്ലോ.

English: You shall not uncover the nakedness of your father's brother, you shall not approach to his wife: she is yours aunt.

Malayalam: അപ്പന്റെ സഹോദരന്റെ നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കരുതു; അവന്റെ ഭാര്യയോടു അടുക്കയുമരുതു; അവൾ നിന്റെ ഇളയമ്മയല്ലോ.

English: You shall not uncover the nakedness of your daughter in law: she is your son's wife; you shall not uncover her nakedness.

Malayalam: നിന്റെ മരുമകളുടെ നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കരുതു; അവൾ നിന്റെ മകന്റെ ഭാര്യ അല്ലോ; അവളുടെ നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കരുതു.

English: You shall not uncover the nakedness of your brother's wife: it is your brother's nakedness.

Malayalam: സഹോദരന്റെ ഭാര്യയുടെ നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കരുതു; അതു നിന്റെ സഹോദരന്റെ നഗ്നതയല്ലോ.

English: You shall not uncover the nakedness of a woman and her daughter, neither shall you take her son's daughter, or her daughter's daughter, to uncover her nakedness; for they are her near kinswomen: it is wickedness.

Malayalam: ഒരു സ്ത്രീയുടെയും അവളുടെ മകളുടെയും നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കരുതു; അവളുടെ മകന്റെയോ മകളുടെയോ മകളുടെ നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കുമാറു അവരെ പരിഗ്രഹിക്കരുതു: അവർ അടുത്ത ചാർച്ചക്കാരല്ലോ; അതു ദുഷ്കർമ്മം.

English: Neither shall you take a wife to her sister, to vex her, to uncover her nakedness, beside the other in her life time.

Malayalam: ഭാര്യ ജീവനോടിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ അവളെ ദുഃഖീപ്പിപ്പാൻ അവളുടെ സഹോദരിയുടെ നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കുമാറു അവളെ കൂടെ പരിഗ്രഹിക്കരുതു.

English: Also you shall not approach unto a woman to uncover her nakedness, as long as she is put apart for her uncleanness.

Malayalam: ഒരു സ്ത്രീ ഋതു നിമിത്തം അശുദ്ധമായിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ അവളുടെ നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കുമാറു അവളോടു അടുക്കരുതു.

English: Moreover you shall not lie carnally with your neighbour's wife, to defile yourself with her.

Malayalam: കൂട്ടുകാരന്റെ ഭാര്യയോടുകൂടെ ശയിച്ചു അവളെക്കൊണ്ടു നിന്നെ അശുദ്ധനാക്കരുതു.

English: And you shall not let any of your seed pass through the fire to Molech, neither shall you profane the name of your God: I am the LORD.

Malayalam: നിന്റെ സന്തതിയിൽ ഒന്നിനെയും മോലേക്കിന്നു അർപ്പിച്ചു നിന്റെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ നാമത്തെ അശുദ്ധമാക്കരുതു; ഞാൻ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു.

English: You shall not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.

Malayalam: സ്ത്രീയോടു എന്നപോലെ പുരുഷനോടുകൂടെ ശയിക്കരുതു; അതു മ്ളേച്ഛത.

English: Neither shall you lie with any beast to defile yourself therewith: neither shall any woman stand before a beast to lie down thereto: it is confusion.

Malayalam: യാതൊരു മൃഗത്തോടുംകൂടെ ശയിച്ചു അതിനാൽ നിന്നെ അശുദ്ധനാക്കരുതു; യാതൊരു സ്ത്രീയും ഒരു മൃഗത്തോടും കൂടെ ശയിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അതിന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ നിൽക്കയും അരുതു; അതു നികൃഷ്ടം.

English: Defile not all of you yourselves in any of these things: for in all these the nations are defiled which I cast out before you:

Malayalam: ഇവയിൽ ഒന്നുകൊണ്ടും നിങ്ങളെ തന്നേ അശുദ്ധരാക്കരുതു; ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ മുമ്പിൽ നിന്നു നീക്കിക്കളയുന്ന ജാതികൾ ഇവയാൽ ഒക്കെയും തങ്ങളെത്തന്നേ അശുദ്ധരാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

English: And the land is defiled: therefore I do visit the iniquity thereof upon it, and the land itself vomits out her inhabitants.

Malayalam: ദേശവും അശുദ്ധമായിത്തീർന്നു; അതുകൊണ്ടു ഞാൻ അതിന്റെ അകൃത്യം അതിന്മേൽ സന്ദർശിക്കുന്നു; ദേശം തന്റെ നിവാസികളെ ഛർദ്ദിച്ചുകളയുന്നു.

English: All of you shall therefore keep my statutes and my judgments, and shall not commit any of these abominations; neither any of your own nation, nor any stranger that sojourns among you:

Malayalam: ഈ മ്ളേച്ഛത ഒക്കെയും നിങ്ങൾക്കു മുമ്പെ ആ ദേശത്തുണ്ടായിരുന്ന മനുഷ്യർ ചെയ്തു, ദേശം അശുദ്ധമായി തീർന്നു

English: (For all these abominations have the men of the land done, which were before you, and the land is defiled;)

Malayalam: നിങ്ങൾക്കു മുമ്പെ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന ജാതികളെ ദേശം ഛർദ്ദിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞതുപോലെ നിങ്ങൾ അതിനെ അശുദ്ധമാക്കീട്ടു നിങ്ങളെയും ഛർദ്ദിച്ചുകളയാതിരിപ്പാൻ നിങ്ങൾ എന്റെ ചട്ടങ്ങളും വിധികളും പ്രമാണിക്കേണം;

English: That the land spew not you out also, when all of you defile it, as it spewed out the nations that were before you.

Malayalam: ഈ മ്ളേച്ഛതകളിൽ യാതൊന്നും സ്വദേശിയാകട്ടെ നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയിൽ പാർക്കുന്ന പരദേശിയാകട്ടെ ചെയ്യരുതു.

English: For whosoever shall commit any of these abominations, even the souls that commit them shall be cut off from among their people.

Malayalam: ആരെങ്കിലും ഈ സകലമ്ളേച്ഛതകളിലും ഏതെങ്കിലും ചെയ്താൽ അങ്ങനെ ചെയ്യുന്നവരെ അവരുടെ ജനത്തിൽനിന്നു ഛേദിച്ചുകളയേണം.

English: Therefore shall all of you keep mine ordinance, that all of you commit not any one of these abominable customs, which were committed before you, and that all of you defile not yourselves therein: I am the LORD your God.

Malayalam: ആകയാൽ നിങ്ങൾക്കു മുമ്പെ നടന്ന ഈ മ്ളേച്ഛമര്യാദകളിൽ യാതൊന്നും ചെയ്യാതെയും അവയാൽ അശുദ്ധരാകാതെയും ഇരിപ്പാൻ നിങ്ങൾ എന്റെ പ്രമാണങ്ങളെ പ്രമാണിക്കേണം; ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു.
