Jeremiah 51

English: Thus says the LORD; Behold, I will raise up against Babylon, and against them that dwell in the midst of them that rise up against me, a destroying wind;

Malayalam: യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: ഞാൻ ബാബേലിന്റെ നേരെയും എന്റെ എതിരാളികളുടെ ഹൃദയത്തിന്റെ നേരെയും സംഹാരകന്റെ മനസ്സു ഉണർത്തും.

English: And will send unto Babylon fanners, that shall fan her, and shall empty her land: for in the day of trouble they shall be against her round about.

Malayalam: പാറ്റുന്നവരെ ഞാൻ ബാബേലിലേക്കു അയക്കും; അവർ അതിനെ പാറ്റി ദേശത്തെ ശൂന്യമാക്കും; അനർത്ഥദിവസത്തിൽ അവർ അതിനെ നാലുപുറവും വളയും.

English: Against him that bends let the archer bend his bow, and against him that lifts himself up in his brigandine: and spare all of you not her young men; destroy all of you utterly all her host.

Malayalam: വില്ലാളി വില്ലു കുലെക്കാതിരിക്കട്ടെ; അവൻ കവചം ധരിച്ചു നിവിർന്നുനിൽക്കാതിരിക്കട്ടെ; അതിലെ യൌവനക്കാരെ ആദരിക്കാതെ സർവ്വസൈന്യത്തെയും നിർമ്മൂലമാക്കിക്കളവിൻ.

English: Thus the slain shall fall in the land of the Chaldeans, and they that are thrust through in her streets.

Malayalam: അങ്ങനെ കല്ദയരുടെ ദേശത്തു നിഹതന്മാരും അതിന്റെ വീഥികളിൽ കുത്തിത്തുളക്കപ്പെട്ടവരും വീഴും.

English: For Israel has not been forsaken, nor Judah of his God, of the LORD of hosts; though their land was filled with sin against the Holy One of Israel.

Malayalam: യിസ്രായേലിന്റെയും യെഹൂദയുടെയും ദേശങ്ങൾ യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ പരിശുദ്ധനോടുള്ള അകൃത്യംകൊണ്ടു നിറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു എങ്കിലും സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവയായ അവയുടെ ദൈവം അവയെ വിധവമാരായി വിട്ടിട്ടില്ല.

English: Flee out of the midst of Babylon, and deliver every man his soul: be not cut off in her iniquity; for this is the time of the LORD's vengeance; he will render unto her a recompence.

Malayalam: ബാബേലിന്റെ നടുവിൽനിന്നു ഓടി ഓരോരുത്തൻ താന്താന്റെ പ്രാണനെ രക്ഷിച്ചുകൊൾവിൻ; നിങ്ങൾ അതിന്റെ അകൃത്യത്തിൽ നശിച്ചുപോകരുതു; ഇതു യഹോവയുടെ പ്രതികാരകാലമല്ലോ; അതിന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തിക്കു തക്കവണ്ണം അവൻ അതിനോടു പകരം ചെയ്യും;

English: Babylon has been a golden cup in the LORD's hand, that made all the earth drunken: the nations have drunken of her wine; therefore the nations are mad.

Malayalam: ബാബേൽ യഹോവയുടെ കയ്യിൽ സർവ്വഭൂമിയെയും ലഹരിപിടിപ്പിക്കുന്ന പൊൻപാനപാത്രം ആയിരുന്നു; ജാതികൾ അതിലെ വീഞ്ഞു കുടിച്ചിട്ടു അവർക്കു ഭ്രാന്തു പിടിച്ചു.

English: Babylon is suddenly fallen and destroyed: wail for her; take balm for her pain, if so be she may be healed.

Malayalam: പെട്ടെന്നു ബാബേൽ വീണു തകർന്നുപോയി; അതിനെക്കുറിച്ചു മുറയിടുവിൻ; അതിന്റെ വേദനെക്കു തൈലം കൊണ്ടുവരുവിൻ; പക്ഷേ അതിന്നു സൌഖ്യം വരും.

English: We would have healed Babylon, but she is not healed: forsake her, and let us go every one into his own country: for her judgment reachs unto heaven, and is lifted up even to the skies.

Malayalam: ഞങ്ങൾ ബാബേലിന്നു ചികിത്സ ചെയ്തു എങ്കിലും സൌഖ്യം വന്നില്ല; അതിനെ ഉപേക്ഷിച്ചുകളവിൻ; നാം ഓരോരുത്തനും നമ്മുടെ സ്വദേശത്തേക്കു പോക; അതിന്റെ ശിക്ഷാവിധി സ്വർഗ്ഗത്തോളം എത്തി ആകാശത്തോളം പൊങ്ങിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

English: The LORD has brought forth our righteousness: come, and let us declare in Zion the work of the LORD our God.

Malayalam: യഹോവ നമ്മുടെ നീതി വെളിപ്പെടുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു; വരുവിൻ, നമ്മുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ പ്രവൃത്തിയെ സീയോനിൽ പ്രസ്താവിക്കുക.

English: Make bright the arrows; gather the shields: the LORD has raised up the spirit of the kings of the Medes: for his device is against Babylon, to destroy it; because it is the vengeance of the LORD, the vengeance of his temple.

Malayalam: അമ്പു മിനുക്കുവിൻ; പരിച ധരിപ്പിൻ; യഹോവ മേദ്യരാജാക്കന്മാരുടെ മനസ്സു ഉണർത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു; ബാബേലിനെ നശിപ്പിപ്പാൻ തക്കവണ്ണം അവന്റെ നിരൂപണം അതിന്നു വിരോധമായിരിക്കുന്നു; ഇതു യഹോവയുടെ പ്രതികാരം, തന്റെ മന്ദിരത്തിന്നു വേണ്ടിയുള്ള പ്രതികാരം തന്നേ.

English: Set up the standard upon the walls of Babylon, make the watch strong, set up the watchmen, prepare the ambushes: for the LORD has both devised and done that which he spoke against the inhabitants of Babylon.

Malayalam: ബാബേലിന്റെ മതിലുകൾക്കു നേരെ കൊടി ഉയർത്തുവിൻ; കാവൽ ഉറപ്പിപ്പിൻ; കാവൽക്കാരെ നിർത്തുവിൻ; പതിയിരിപ്പുകാരെ ഒരുക്കുവിൻ; യഹോവ ബാബേൽനിവാസികളെക്കുറിച്ചു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു നിർണ്ണയിച്ചും അനുഷ്ഠിച്ചുമിരിക്കുന്നു.

English: O you that dwell upon many waters, abundant in treasures, yours end has come, and the measure of your covetousness.

Malayalam: വലിയ വെള്ളങ്ങൾക്കരികെ വസിക്കുന്നവളായി വളരെ നിക്ഷേപങ്ങൾ ഉള്ളവളേ, നിന്റെ അവസാനം നിന്നെ ഛേദിച്ചുകളവാനുള്ള അവധി, വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.

English: The LORD of hosts has sworn by himself, saying, Surely I will fill you with men, as with caterpillars; and they shall lift up a shout against you.

Malayalam: ഞാൻ നിശ്ചയമായിട്ടു വിട്ടിലുകളെക്കൊണ്ടെന്നപോലെ മനുഷ്യരെക്കൊണ്ടു നിന്നെ നിറെക്കും; അവൻ നിന്റെ നേരെ ആർപ്പിടും എന്നു സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ തന്നെക്കൊണ്ടു തന്നേ സത്യം ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

English: He has made the earth by his power, he has established the world by his wisdom, and has stretched out the heaven by his understanding.

Malayalam: അവൻ തന്റെ ശക്തിയാൽ ഭൂമിയെ സൃഷ്ടിച്ചു; തന്റെ ജ്ഞാനത്താൽ ഭൂമണ്ഡലത്തെ സ്ഥാപിച്ചു, തന്റെ വിവേകത്താൽ ആകാശത്തെ വിരിച്ചു.

English: When he utters his voice, there is a multitude of waters in the heavens; and he causes the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth: he makes lightnings with rain, and brings forth the wind out of his treasures.

Malayalam: അവൻ തന്റെ നാദം പുറപ്പെടുവിക്കുമ്പോൾ ആകാശത്തു വെള്ളത്തിന്റെ മുഴക്കം ഉണ്ടാകുന്നു; ഭൂമിയുടെ അറ്റങ്ങളിൽനിന്നു അവൻ ആവി കയറ്റുന്നു; മഴെക്കു മിന്നൽ ഉണ്ടാക്കി തന്റെ ഭണ്ഡാരത്തിൽനിന്നു കാറ്റു പുറപ്പെടുവിക്കുന്നു.

English: Every man is brutish by his knowledge; every founder is confounded by the graven image: for his molten image is falsehood, and there is no breath in them.

Malayalam: ഏതു മനുഷ്യനും മൃഗപ്രായനും പരിജ്ഞാനമില്ലാത്തവനുമാകുന്നു. തട്ടാന്മാർ ഒക്കെയും വിഗ്രഹംനിമിത്തം ലജ്ജിച്ചുപോകുന്നു; അവർ വാർത്തുണ്ടാക്കിയ ബിംബം വ്യാജമത്രേ.

English: They are vanity, the work of errors: in the time of their visitation they shall perish.

Malayalam: അവയിൽ ശ്വാസവും ഇല്ല. അവ മായയും വ്യർത്ഥപ്രവൃത്തിയും തന്നേ; സന്ദർശനകാലത്തു അവ നശിച്ചുപോകും.

English: The portion of Jacob is not like them; for he is the former of all things: and Israel is the rod of his inheritance: the LORD of hosts is his name.

Malayalam: യാക്കോബിന്റെ ഓഹരിയായവൻ ഇവയെപ്പോലെയല്ല; അവൻ സർവ്വത്തെയും നിർമ്മിച്ചവൻ; യിസ്രായേൽ അവന്റെ അവകാശഗോത്രം; സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ എന്നാകുന്നു അവന്റെ നാമം.

English: You are my battle axe and weapons of war: for with you will I break in pieces the nations, and with you will I destroy kingdoms;

Malayalam: നീ എന്റെ വെണ്മഴുവും യുദ്ധത്തിന്നുള്ള ആയുധങ്ങളും ആകുന്നു; ഞാൻ നിന്നെക്കൊണ്ടു ജാതികളെ തകർക്കയും നിന്നെക്കൊണ്ടു രാജ്യങ്ങളെ നശിപ്പിക്കയും ചെയ്യും.

English: And with you will I break in pieces the horse and his rider; and with you will I break in pieces the chariot and his rider;

Malayalam: നിന്നെക്കൊണ്ടു ഞാൻ കുതിരയെയും അതിന്റെ പുറത്തു കയറിയിരിക്കുന്നവനെയും തകർക്കും; നിന്നെക്കൊണ്ടു ഞാൻ രഥത്തെയും അതിൽ ഇരിക്കുന്നവനെയും തകർക്കും;

English: With you also will I break in pieces man and woman; and with you will I break in pieces old and young; and with you will I break in pieces the young man and the maid;

Malayalam: നിന്നെക്കൊണ്ടു ഞാൻ പുരുഷനെയും സ്ത്രീയെയും തകർക്കും; നിന്നെക്കൊണ്ടു ഞാൻ വൃദ്ധനെയും ബാലനെയും തകർക്കും; നിന്നെക്കൊണ്ടു ഞാൻ യുവാവിനെയും യുവതിയെയും തകർക്കും.

English: I will also break in pieces with you the shepherd and his flock; and with you will I break in pieces the farmer and his yoke of oxen; and with you will I break in pieces captains and rulers.

Malayalam: നിന്നെക്കൊണ്ടു ഞാൻ ഇടയനെയും ആട്ടിൻ കൂട്ടത്തെയും തകർക്കും; നിന്നെക്കൊണ്ടു ഞാൻ കൃഷിക്കാരനെയും അവന്റെ ഏർകാളയെയും തകർക്കും; നിന്നെക്കൊണ്ടു ഞാൻ ദേശാധിപതികളെയും സ്ഥാനാപതികളെയും തകർക്കും.

English: And I will render unto Babylon and to all the inhabitants of Chaldea all their evil that they have done in Zion in your sight, says the LORD.

Malayalam: നിങ്ങൾ കാൺകെ ഞാൻ ബാബേലിന്നും സകല കല്ദയനിവാസികൾക്കും അവർ സീയോനിൽ ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്ന സകലദോഷത്തിന്നും തക്കവണ്ണം പകരം വീട്ടുമെന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

English: Behold, I am against you, O destroying mountain, says the LORD, which destroys all the earth: and I will stretch out mine hand upon you, and roll you down from the rocks, and will make you a burnt mountain.

Malayalam: സകലഭൂമിയെയും നശിപ്പിക്കുന്ന വിനാശകപർവ്വതമേ, ഞാൻ നിനക്കു വിരോധമായിരിക്കുന്നു; ഞാൻ നിന്റെ മേൽ കൈ നീട്ടി നിന്നെ പാറകളിൽനിന്നു ഉരുട്ടി ദഹനപർവ്വതം ആക്കും എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

English: And they shall not take of you a stone for a corner, nor a stone for foundations; but you shall be desolate for ever, says the LORD.

Malayalam: നിന്നിൽനിന്നു അവർ മൂലക്കല്ലായിട്ടോ അടിസ്ഥാനക്കല്ലായിട്ടോ ഒരു കല്ലും എടുക്കാതവണ്ണം നീ നിത്യശൂന്യമായി ഭവിക്കും എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

English: Set all of you up a standard in the land, blow the trumpet among the nations, prepare the nations against her, call together against her the kingdoms of Ararat, Minni, and Ashchenaz; appoint a captain against her; cause the horses to come up as the rough caterpillars.

Malayalam: ദേശത്തു ഒരു കൊടി ഉയർത്തുവിൻ; ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയിൽ കാഹളം ഊതുവിൻ; ജാതികളെ അതിന്റെ നേരെ സംസ്കരിപ്പിൻ; അറാറാത്ത്, മിന്നി, അസ്കെനാസ്, എന്നീ രാജ്യങ്ങളെ അതിന്നു വിരോധമായി വിളിച്ചുകൂട്ടുവിൻ; അതിന്നെതിരെ ഒരു സേനാപതിയെ നിയമിപ്പിൻ; പരുപരുത്ത വിട്ടിലുകളെപ്പോലെ കുതിരകളെ പുറപ്പെടുമാറാക്കുവിൻ.

English: Prepare against her the nations with the kings of the Medes, the captains thereof, and all the rulers thereof, and all the land of his dominion.

Malayalam: മേദ്യരുടെ രാജാക്കന്മാരും ദേശാധിപതിമാരും സകല സ്ഥാനാപതിമാരും അവന്റെ ആധിപത്യത്തിൽ ഉൾപ്പെട്ട സകലദേശക്കാരുമായ ജാതികളെ അതിന്നു വിരോധമായി സംസ്കരിപ്പിൻ;

English: And the land shall tremble and sorrow: for every purpose of the LORD shall be performed against Babylon, to make the land of Babylon a desolation without an inhabitant.

Malayalam: ബാബേൽദേശത്തെ നിവാസികളില്ലാതെ ശൂന്യമാക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ബാബേലിനെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള യഹോവയുടെ നിരൂപണങ്ങൾ നിവൃത്തിയായ്‍വരുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു ദേശം നടുങ്ങി സങ്കടപ്പെടുന്നു.

English: The mighty men of Babylon have ceased to fight, they have remained in their holds: their might has failed; they became as women: they have burned her dwelling places; her bars are broken.

Malayalam: ബാബേലിലെ വീരന്മാർ യുദ്ധം മതിയാക്കി കോട്ടകളിൽ ഇരിക്കുന്നു; അവരുടെ ശക്തി ക്ഷയിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; അവർ സ്ത്രീകളെപ്പോലെ ആയിരിക്കുന്നു; അതിലെ വീടുകൾക്കു തീ വെച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു; അതിന്റെ ഓടാമ്പലുകൾ തകർന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.

English: One post shall run to meet another, and one messenger to meet another, to show the king of Babylon that his city is taken at every quarter,

Malayalam: പട്ടണം നാലുപുറവും പിടിപെട്ടുപോയി, കടവുകൾ ശത്രുവശമായി, കളങ്ങൾ തീ പിടിച്ചു ദഹിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു, യോദ്ധാക്കൾ ഭയപരവശരായിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നിങ്ങനെ ബാബേൽരാജാവിനോടു അറിയിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു

English: And that the passages are stopped, and the reeds they have burned with fire, and the men of war are affrighted.

Malayalam: ഓട്ടാളൻ ഓട്ടാളന്നും ദൂതൻ ദൂതന്നും എതിരെ ഓടുന്നു.

English: For thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; The daughter of Babylon is like a threshing floor, it is time to thresh her: yet a little while, and the time of her harvest shall come.

Malayalam: യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: ബാബേൽപുത്രി മെതികാലത്തെ മെതിക്കളംപോലെയായിരിക്കുന്നു; ഇനി കുറഞ്ഞോന്നു കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടു അതിന്റെ കൊയ്ത്തുകാലം വരും.

English: Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon has devoured me, he has crushed me, he has made me an empty vessel, he has swallowed me up like a dragon, he has filled his belly with my delicates, he has cast me out.

Malayalam: ബാബേൽരാജാവായ നെബൂഖദ്നേസർ എന്നെ തിന്നുമുടിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു, അവൻ എന്നെ വെറുമ്പാത്രമാക്കി, മഹാസർപ്പം എന്നപോലെ അവൻ എന്നെ വിഴുങ്ങിക്കളഞ്ഞു, എന്റെ സ്വാദുഭോജ്യങ്ങളെക്കൊണ്ടു വയറു നിറെച്ചു, എന്നെ തള്ളിക്കളഞ്ഞു.

English: The violence done to me and to my flesh be upon Babylon, shall the inhabitant of Zion say; and my blood upon the inhabitants of Chaldea, shall Jerusalem say.

Malayalam: ഞാൻ സഹിച്ച സാഹസവും ദേഹപീഡയും ബാബേലിന്മേൽ വരട്ടെ എന്നു സീയോൻ നിവാസിനി പറയും; എന്റെ രക്തം കല്ദയ നിവാസികളുടെമേൽ വരട്ടെ എന്നു യെരൂശലേം പറയും.

English: Therefore thus says the LORD; Behold, I will plead your cause, and take vengeance for you; and I will dry up her sea, and make her springs dry.

Malayalam: അതുകൊണ്ടു യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: ഇതാ, ഞാൻ നിന്റെ വ്യവഹാരം നടത്തി, നിനക്കു വേണ്ടി പ്രതികാരം ചെയ്യും; അതിന്റെ കടൽ ഞാൻ ഉണക്കി, അതിന്റെ ഉറവുകൾ വറ്റിച്ചുകളയും.

English: And Babylon shall become heaps, a dwelling place for dragons, an astonishment, and an hissing, without an inhabitant.

Malayalam: ബാബേൽ, നിവാസികൾ ഇല്ലാതെ കല്ക്കുന്നുകളും കുറുനരികളുടെ പാർപ്പിടവും വിസ്മയത്തിന്നും ചൂളകുത്തുന്നതിന്നും വിഷയവുമായ്തീരും.

English: They shall roar together like lions: they shall yell as lions' whelps.

Malayalam: അവർ ഒക്കെയും ബാലസിംഹങ്ങളെപ്പോലെ ഗർജ്ജിക്കും; അവർ സിംഹികളുടെ കുട്ടികളെപ്പോലെ മുരളും.

English: In their heat I will make their feasts, and I will make them drunken, that they may rejoice, and sleep a perpetual sleep, and not wake, says the LORD.

Malayalam: അവർ ജയമത്തരായിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ ഉല്ലസിച്ചു ഉണരാതവണ്ണം നിത്യനിദ്ര കൊള്ളേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാൻ അവർക്കു ഒരു പാനീയം ഒരുക്കി അവരെ ലഹരി പിടിപ്പിക്കും എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

English: I will bring them down like lambs to the slaughter, like rams with he goats.

Malayalam: ഞാൻ അവരെ കുഞ്ഞാടുകളെപ്പോലെയും മുട്ടാടുകളോടുകൂടി ആട്ടുകൊറ്റന്മാരെപ്പോലെയും കുലനിലത്തേക്കു ഇറക്കിക്കൊണ്ടു വരും.

English: How is Sheshach taken! and how is the praise of the whole earth surprised! how is Babylon become an astonishment among the nations!

Malayalam: ശേശക്ക് പിടിക്കപ്പെട്ടുപോയതെങ്ങനെ? സർവ്വഭൂമിയുടെയും പ്രശംസയായിരുന്നതു ശത്രുവശമായ്പോയതെങ്ങനെ? ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയിൽ ബാബേൽ ഒരു സ്തംഭനവിഷയമായ്തീർന്നതെങ്ങനെ?

English: The sea has come up upon Babylon: she is covered with the multitude of the waves thereof.

Malayalam: ബാബേലിന്മേൽ കടൽ കവിഞ്ഞുവന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; അതിന്റെ തിരകളുടെ പെരുപ്പംകൊണ്ടു അതു മൂടിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

English: Her cities are a desolation, a dry land, and a wilderness, a land wherein no man dwells, neither does any son of man pass thereby.

Malayalam: അതിന്റെ പട്ടണങ്ങൾ ശൂന്യവും വരണ്ടനിലവും മരുഭൂമിയും ആരും പാർക്കാത്തതും വഴനടക്കാത്തതും ആയ ദേശവും ആയിത്തീർന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.

English: And I will punish Bel in Babylon, and I will bring forth out of his mouth that which he has swallowed up: and the nations shall not flow together any more unto him: yea, the wall of Babylon shall fall.

Malayalam: ഞാൻ ബാബേലിൽവെച്ചു ബേലിനെ സന്ദർശിച്ചു, അവൻ വിഴുങ്ങിയതിനെ അവന്റെ വായിൽനിന്നു പുറത്തിറക്കും; ജാതികൾ ഇനി അവന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ഓടിച്ചെല്ലുകയില്ല; ബാബേലിന്റെ മതിൽ വീണുപോകും.

English: My people, go all of you out of the midst of her, and deliver all of you every man his soul from the fierce anger of the LORD.

Malayalam: എന്റെ ജനമേ, അതിന്റെ നടുവിൽനിന്നു പുറപ്പെടുവിൻ; യഹോവയുടെ ഉഗ്രകോപത്തിൽനിന്നു നിങ്ങൾ ഓരോരുത്തൻ താന്താന്റെ പ്രാണനെ രക്ഷിച്ചുകൊൾവിൻ.

English: And lest your heart faint, and all of you fear for the rumour that shall be heard in the land; a rumour shall both come one year, and after that in another year shall come a rumour, and violence in the land, ruler against ruler.

Malayalam: ദേശത്തു കേൾക്കുന്ന വർത്തമാനംകൊണ്ടും ഒരു ആണ്ടിൽ ഒരു വർത്തമാനവും പിറ്റെയാണ്ടിൽ മറ്റൊരു വർത്തമാനവും കേൾക്കുമ്പോഴും സാഹസകൃത്യങ്ങൾ ദേശത്തു നടക്കുമ്പോഴും അധിപതി അധിപതിക്കു വിരോധമായി എഴുന്നേല്ക്കുമ്പോഴും നിങ്ങളുടെ ധൈര്യം ക്ഷയിച്ചുപോകരുതു; നിങ്ങൾ ഭയപ്പെടുകയും അരുതു.

English: Therefore, behold, the days come, that I will do judgment upon the graven images of Babylon: and her whole land shall be confounded, and all her slain shall fall in the midst of her.

Malayalam: അതുകൊണ്ടു ഞാൻ ബാബേലിലെ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളെ സന്ദർശിപ്പാനുള്ള കാലം വരും; അന്നു ദേശമെല്ലാം ലജ്ജിച്ചുപോകും; അതിലെ നിഹതന്മാർ ഒക്കെയും അതിന്റെ നടുവിൽ വീഴും.

English: Then the heaven and the earth, and all that is therein, shall sing for Babylon: for the spoilers shall come unto her from the north, says the LORD.

Malayalam: ആകാശവും ഭൂമിയും അവയിലുള്ളതൊക്കെയും ബാബേലിനെച്ചൊല്ലി ഘോഷിച്ചുല്ലസിക്കും; വടക്കുനിന്നു വിനാശകന്മാർ അതിലേക്കു വരും എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

English: As Babylon has caused the slain of Israel to fall, so at Babylon shall fall the slain of all the earth.

Malayalam: യിസ്രായേൽ നിഹതന്മാരേ, ബാബേൽ വീഴേണ്ടതാകുന്നു; ബാബേലിനോടുകൂടെ സർവ്വദേശവും തന്നേ.

English: All of you that have escaped the sword, go away, stand not still: remember the LORD far off, and let Jerusalem come into your mind.

Malayalam: വാളിന്നു ഒഴിഞ്ഞുപോയവരേ, നിൽക്കാതെ ചെല്ലുവിൻ; ദൂരത്തുനിന്നു യഹോവയെ ഓർപ്പിൻ; യെരൂശലേം നിങ്ങൾക്കു ഓർമ്മ വരട്ടെ!

English: We are confounded, because we have heard reproach: shame has covered our faces: for strangers are come into the sanctuaries of the LORD's house.

Malayalam: ഞങ്ങൾ നിന്ദ കേട്ടു ലജ്ജിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; അന്യന്മാർ യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിന്റെ വിശുദ്ധസ്ഥലങ്ങളിലേക്കു വന്നിരിക്കയാൽ ലജ്ജ ഞങ്ങളുടെ മുഖം മൂടിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

English: Wherefore, behold, the days come, says the LORD, that I will do judgment upon her graven images: and through all her land the wounded shall groan.

Malayalam: അതുകൊണ്ടു ഞാൻ അതിലെ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളെ സന്ദർശിപ്പാനുള്ള കാലം വരും എാന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു; അന്നു ദേശത്തെല്ലാടവും നിഹതന്മാർ കിടന്നു ഞരങ്ങും.

English: Though Babylon should mount up to heaven, and though she should fortify the height of her strength, yet from me shall spoilers come unto her, says the LORD.

Malayalam: ബാബേൽ ആകാശത്തോളം കയറിയാലും കോട്ട ഉയർത്തി ഉറപ്പിച്ചാലും, ഞാൻ വിനാശകന്മാരെ അതിലേക്കു അയക്കും എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

English: A sound of a cry comes from Babylon, and great destruction from the land of the Chaldeans:

Malayalam: ബാബേലിൽനിന്നു നിലവിളിയും കല്ദയദേശത്തുനിന്നു മഹാനാശവും കേൾക്കുന്നു.

English: Because the LORD has spoiled Babylon, and destroyed out of her the great voice; when her waves do roar like great waters, a noise of their voice is uttered:

Malayalam: യഹോവ ബാബേലിനെ നശിപ്പിച്ചു അതിൽ നിന്നു മഹാഘോഷം ഇല്ലാതെയാക്കുന്നു; അവരുടെ തിരകൾ പെരുവെള്ളംപോലെ ഇരെക്കുന്നു; അവരുടെ ആരവത്തിന്റെ മുഴക്കം കേൾക്കുന്നു.

English: Because the spoiler has come upon her, even upon Babylon, and her mighty men are taken, every one of their bows is broken: for the LORD God of recompences shall surely requite.

Malayalam: അതിന്റെ നേരെ, ബാബേലിന്റെ നേരെ തന്നേ, വിനാശകൻ വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; അതിലെ വീരന്മാർ പിടിപെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; അവരുടെ വില്ലു എല്ലാം ഒടിഞ്ഞുപോയി; യഹോവ പ്രതികാരത്തിന്റെ ദൈവമാകുന്നു; അവൻ പകരം ചെയ്യും.

English: And I will make drunk her princes, and her wise men, her captains, and her rulers, and her mighty men: and they shall sleep a perpetual sleep, and not wake, says the King, whose name is the LORD of hosts.

Malayalam: ഞാൻ അതിലെ പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരെയും ജ്ഞാനികളെയും ദേശാധിപതിമാരെയും സ്ഥാനാപതികളെയും വീരന്മാരെയും മത്തുപിടിപ്പിക്കും; അവർ ഉണരാതവണ്ണം നിത്യനിദ്രകൊള്ളും എന്നു സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ എന്നു നാമമുള്ള രാജാവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

English: Thus says the LORD of hosts; The broad walls of Babylon shall be utterly broken, and her high gates shall be burned with fire; and the people shall labour in vain, and the folk in the fire, and they shall be weary.

Malayalam: സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: ബാബേലിന്റെ വിശാലമായ മതിലുകൾ അശേഷം ഇടിഞ്ഞുപോകും; അതിന്റെ ഉയർന്ന വാതിലുകൾ തീ പിടിച്ചു വെന്തുപോകും; അങ്ങനെ വംശങ്ങളുടെ അദ്ധ്വാനം വ്യർത്ഥമായും ജാതികളുടെ പ്രയത്നം തീക്കിരയായും തീരുകയും അവർ ക്ഷീണിച്ചുപോകയും ചെയ്യും.

English: The word which Jeremiah the prophet commanded Seraiah the son of Neriah, the son of Maaseiah, when he went with Zedekiah the king of Judah into Babylon in the fourth year of his reign. And this Seraiah was a quiet prince.

Malayalam: യെഹൂദാരാജാവായ സിദെക്കീയാവിന്റെ വാഴ്ചയുടെ നാലം ആണ്ടിൽ, അവനോടുകൂടെ മഹ്സേയാവിന്റെ മകനായ നേർയ്യാവിന്റെ മകനായ സെരായാവു പ്രയാണാദ്ധ്യക്ഷനായി ബാബേലിലേക്കു പോകുമ്പോൾ യിരെമ്യാപ്രവാചകൻ സെരായാവോടു കല്പിച്ചു വചനം--

English: So Jeremiah wrote in a book all the evil that should come upon Babylon, even all these words that are written against Babylon.

Malayalam: ബാബേലിന്നു വരുവാനിരിക്കുന്ന അനർത്ഥമൊക്കെയും, ബാബേലിനെക്കുറിച്ചു എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്ന സകലവചനങ്ങളും തന്നേ, യിരെമ്യാവു ഒരു പുസ്തകത്തിൽ എഴുതി --

English: And Jeremiah said to Seraiah, When you come to Babylon, and shall see, and shall read all these words;

Malayalam: യിരെമ്യാവു സെരായാവോടു പറഞ്ഞതു: നീ ബാബേലിൽ എത്തിയശേഷം ഈ വചനങ്ങൾ ഒക്കെയും നോക്കി വായിച്ചിട്ടു:

English: Then shall you say, O LORD, you have spoken against this place, to cut it off, that none shall remain in it, neither man nor beast, but that it shall be desolate for ever.

Malayalam: യഹോവേ, ഈ സ്ഥലത്തു മനുഷ്യനോ മൃഗമോ ഒന്നും ശേഷിക്കാതെ അതു ശാശ്വതശൂന്യമായിരിക്കത്തക്കവണ്ണം നീ അതിനെ നശിപ്പിച്ചുകളയുമെന്നു അതിനെക്കുറിച്ചു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തുവല്ലോ എന്നു പറയേണം.

English: And it shall be, when you have made an end of reading this book, that you shall bind a stone to it, and cast it into the midst of Euphrates:

Malayalam: പിന്നെ ഈ പുസ്തകം വായിച്ചശേഷം നീ അതിന്നു ഒരു കല്ലു കെട്ടി ഫ്രാത്തിന്റെ നടുവിലേക്കു എറിഞ്ഞു;

English: And you shall say, Thus shall Babylon sink, and shall not rise from the evil that I will bring upon her: and they shall be weary. Thus far are the words of Jeremiah.

Malayalam: ഇങ്ങനെ ബാബേൽ ആണ്ടുപോകും; ഞാൻ അതിന്നു വരുത്തുന്ന അനർത്ഥത്തിൽനിന്നു അതു പൊങ്ങിവരികയില്ല; അവർ ക്ഷയിച്ചുപോകും എന്നു പറയേണം. ഇത്രത്തോളം യിരെമ്യാവിന്റെ വചനങ്ങൾ.
