Jeremiah 35

English: The word which came unto Jeremiah from the LORD in the days of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah, saying,

Malayalam: യോശീയാവിന്റെ മകനായി യെഹൂദാരാജാവായ യെഹോയാക്കീമിന്റെ കാലത്തു യിരെമ്യാവിന്നു യഹോവയിങ്കൽനിന്നുണ്ടായ അരുളപ്പാടു എന്തെന്നാൽ:

English: Go unto the house of the Rechabites, and speak unto them, and bring them into the house of the LORD, into one of the chambers, and give them wine to drink.

Malayalam: നീ രേഖാബ്യഗൃഹത്തിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ചെന്നു അവരോടു സംസാരിച്ചു അവരെ യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിന്റെ ഒരു മുറിയിൽ കൊണ്ടുവന്നു അവർക്കു വീഞ്ഞുകുടിപ്പാൻ കൊടുക്ക.

English: Then I took Jaazaniah the son of Jeremiah, the son of Habaziniah, and his brethren, and all his sons, and the whole house of the Rechabites;

Malayalam: അങ്ങനെ ഞാൻ ഹബസിന്യാവിന്റെ മകനായ യിരെമ്യാവിന്റെ മകൻ യയസന്യാവെയും അവന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാരെയും അവന്റെ സകലപുത്രന്മാരെയും രേഖാബ്യഗൃഹം മുഴുവനെയും കൂട്ടി

English: And I brought them into the house of the LORD, into the chamber of the sons of Hanan, the son of Igdaliah, a man of God, which was by the chamber of the princes, which was above the chamber of Maaseiah the son of Shallum, the keeper of the door:

Malayalam: യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിൽ പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരുടെ മുറിക്കരികെ ശല്ലൂമിന്റെ മകനായ വാതിൽ കാവൽക്കാരൻ മയസേയാവിന്റെ മുറിക്കു മീതെ ഇഗ്ദല്യാവിന്റെ മകനും ദൈവപുരുഷനുമായ ഹാനാന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരുടെ മുറിയിൽ കൊണ്ടുവന്നു.

English: And I set before the sons of the house of the Rechabites pots full of wine, and cups, and I said unto them, Drink all of you wine.

Malayalam: പിന്നെ ഞാൻ, രേഖാബ്യഗൃഹക്കാരുടെ മുമ്പിൽ വീഞ്ഞു നിറെച്ച കുടങ്ങളും പാനപാത്രങ്ങളും വെച്ചു അവരോടു: വീഞ്ഞു കുടിപ്പിൻ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

English: But they said, We will drink no wine: for Jonadab the son of Rechab our father commanded us, saying, All of you shall drink no wine, neither all of you, nor your sons for ever:

Malayalam: അതിന്നു അവർ പറഞ്ഞതു: ഞങ്ങൾ വീഞ്ഞു കുടിക്കയില്ല; രേഖാബിന്റെ മകനായി ഞങ്ങളുടെ പിതാവായ യോനാദാബ് ഞങ്ങളോടു: നിങ്ങൾ ചെന്നു പാർക്കുന്ന ദേശത്തു ദീർഘയുസ്സോടെ ഇരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു

English: Neither shall all of you build house, nor sow seed, nor plant vineyard, nor have any: but all your days all of you shall dwell in tents; that all of you may live many days in the land where all of you be strangers.

Malayalam: നിങ്ങളും നിങ്ങളുടെ മക്കളും ഒരിക്കലും വീഞ്ഞു കുടിക്കരുതു; വീടു പണിയരുതു; വിത്തു വിതെക്കരുതു; മുന്തിരിത്തോട്ടം ഉണ്ടാക്കരുതു; ഈവക ഒന്നും നിങ്ങൾക്കുണ്ടാകയുമരുതു; നിങ്ങൾ ജീവപര്യന്തം കൂടാരങ്ങളിൽ പാർക്കേണം എന്നിങ്ങനെ കല്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

English: Thus have we obeyed the voice of Jonadab the son of Rechab our father in all that he has charged us, to drink no wine all our days, we, our wives, our sons, nor our daughters;

Malayalam: അങ്ങനെ ഞങ്ങളും ഭാര്യമാരും പുത്രന്മാരും പുത്രിമാരും ഞങ്ങളുടെ ജീവകാലത്തൊരിക്കലും വീഞ്ഞു കുടിക്കയോ

English: Nor to build houses for us to dwell in: neither have we vineyard, nor field, nor seed:

Malayalam: പാർപ്പാൻ വീടു പണികയോ ചെയ്യാതെ രേഖാബിന്റെ മകനായി ഞങ്ങളുടെ പിതാവായ യോനാദാബ് ഞങ്ങളോടു കല്പിച്ച സകലത്തിലും അവന്റെ വാക്കു കേട്ടനുസരിച്ചുവരുന്നു; ഞങ്ങൾക്കു മുന്തിരിത്തോട്ടവും വയലും വിത്തും ഇല്ല.

English: But we have dwelt in tents, and have obeyed, and done according to all that Jonadab our father commanded us.

Malayalam: ഞങ്ങൾ കൂടാരങ്ങളിൽ പാർത്തു, ഞങ്ങളുടെ പിതാവായ യോനാദാബ് ഞങ്ങളോടു കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ ഒക്കെയും അനുസരിച്ചു നടക്കുന്നു.

English: But it came to pass, when Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon came up into the land, that we said, Come, and let us go to Jerusalem for fear of the army of the Chaldeans, and for fear of the army of the Syrians: so we dwell at Jerusalem.

Malayalam: എന്നാൽ ബാബേൽരാജാവായ നെബൂഖദ്നേസർ ദേശത്തെ ആക്രമിച്ചപ്പോൾ ഞങ്ങൾ: വരുവിൻ കല്ദയരുടെ സൈന്യത്തിന്റെയും അരാമ്യരുടെ സൈന്യത്തിന്റെയും മുമ്പിൽനിന്നു നമുക്കു യെരൂശലേമിലേക്കു പോയ്ക്കളയാം എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു; അങ്ങനെ ഞങ്ങൾ യെരൂശലേമിൽ പാർത്തുവരുന്നു.

English: Then came the word of the LORD unto Jeremiah, saying,

Malayalam: അപ്പോൾ യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു യിരെമ്യാവിന്നുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാൽ:

English: Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Go and tell the men of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, Will all of you not receive instruction to hearken to my words? says the LORD.

Malayalam: യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: നീ ചെന്നു യെഹൂദാപുരുഷന്മാരോടും യെരൂശലേംനിവാസികളോടും പറയേണ്ടതു: എന്റെ വചനങ്ങളെ അനുസരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നിങ്ങൾ പ്രബോധനം കൈാക്കൊള്ളുന്നില്ലയോ? എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

English: The words of Jonadab the son of Rechab, that he commanded his sons not to drink wine, are performed; for unto this day they drink none, but obey their father's commandment: notwithstanding I have spoken unto you, rising early and speaking; but all of you hearkened not unto me.

Malayalam: രേഖാബിന്റെ മകനായ യോനാദാബ് തന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരോടു വീഞ്ഞു കുടിക്കരുതെന്നു കല്പിച്ചതു അവർ നിവർത്തിക്കുന്നു; അവർ പിതാവിന്റെ കല്പന പ്രമാണിച്ചു ഇന്നുവരെ കുടിക്കാതെ ഇരിക്കുന്നു; എന്നാൽ ഞാൻ ഇടവിടാതെ നിങ്ങളോടു സംസാരിച്ചിട്ടും നിങ്ങൾ എന്നെ അനുസരിച്ചിട്ടില്ല.

English: I have sent also unto you all my servants the prophets, rising up early and sending them, saying, Return all of you now every man from his evil way, and amend your doings, and go not after other gods to serve them, and all of you shall dwell in the land which I have given to you and to your fathers: but all of you have not inclined your ear, nor hearkened unto me.

Malayalam: നിങ്ങൾ ഓരോരുത്തൻ താന്താന്റെ ദുർമ്മാർഗ്ഗം വിട്ടുതിരിഞ്ഞു നിങ്ങളുടെ പ്രവൃത്തികളെ നന്നാക്കുവിൻ; അന്യദേവന്മാരോടു ചേർന്നു അവരെ സേവിക്കരുതു; അപ്പോൾ ഞാൻ നിങ്ങൾക്കും നിങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാർക്കും തന്ന ദേശത്തു നിങ്ങൾ വസിക്കുമെന്നിങ്ങനെ പ്രവാചകന്മാരായ എന്റെ സകലദാസന്മാരെയും ഞാൻ ഇടവിടാതെ നിങ്ങളുടെ അടുക്കൽ അയച്ചു പറയിച്ചിട്ടും നിങ്ങൾ ചെവി ചായിക്കയോ എന്റെ വാക്കു കേട്ടനുസരിക്കയോ ചെയ്തിട്ടില്ല.

English: Because the sons of Jonadab the son of Rechab have performed the commandment of their father, which he commanded them; but this people has not hearkened unto me:

Malayalam: രേഖാബിന്റെ മകനായ യോനാദാബിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ അവരുടെ പിതാവു കല്പിച്ച കല്പന പ്രമാണിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; ഈ ജനമോ, എന്റെ വാക്കു കേട്ടനുസരിച്ചിട്ടില്ല.

English: Therefore thus says the LORD God of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will bring upon Judah and upon all the inhabitants of Jerusalem all the evil that I have pronounced against them: because I have spoken unto them, but they have not heard; and I have called unto them, but they have not answered.

Malayalam: അതുകൊണ്ടു യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായി സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: ഞാൻ പറഞ്ഞിട്ടും അവർ കേൾക്കയോ വിളിച്ചിട്ടും അവർ ഉത്തരം പറകയോ ചെയ്യായ്കകൊണ്ടു, ഞാൻ യെഹൂദയുടെ മേലും യെരൂശലേമിലെ സകലനിവാസികളുടെ മേലും ഞാൻ അവർക്കു വിധിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന അനർത്ഥമൊക്കെയും വരുത്തും.

English: And Jeremiah said unto the house of the Rechabites, Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Because all of you have obeyed the commandment of Jonadab your father, and kept all his precepts, and done according unto all that he has commanded you:

Malayalam: പിന്നെ യിരെമ്യാവു രേഖാബ്യഗൃഹത്തോടു പറഞ്ഞതു: യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു. നിങ്ങൾ നിങ്ങളുടെ പിതാവായ യോനാദാബിന്റെ കല്പന പ്രാണിച്ചു അവന്റെ ആജ്ഞയൊക്കെയും അനുസരിച്ചു അവൻ കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ ഒക്കെയും ചെയ്തിരിക്കകൊണ്ടു,

English: Therefore thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Jonadab the son of Rechab shall not lack a man to stand before me for ever.

Malayalam: എന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ നില്പാൻ രേഖാബിന്റെ മകനായ യോനാദാബിന്നു ഒരു പുരുഷൻ ഒരിക്കലും ഇല്ലാതെ വരികയില്ല എന്നു യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.
