Jeremiah 29

English: Now these are the words of the letter that Jeremiah the prophet sent from Jerusalem unto the residue of the elders which were carried away captives, and to the priests, and to the prophets, and to all the people whom Nebuchadnezzar had carried away captive from Jerusalem to Babylon;

Malayalam: യെഖൊന്യാരാജാവും രാജമാതാവും ഷണ്ഡന്മാരും യെഹൂദയിലും യെരൂശലേമിലും ഉള്ള പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരും ശില്പികളും കൊല്ലന്മാരും യെരൂശലേം വിട്ടു പോയശേഷം,

English: (After that Jeconiah the king, and the queen, and the eunuchs, the princes of Judah and Jerusalem, and the carpenters, and the smiths, were departed from Jerusalem;)

Malayalam: യിരെമ്യാപ്രവാചകൻ ബദ്ധന്മാരുടെ മൂപ്പന്മാരിൽ ശേഷിപ്പുള്ളവർക്കും പുരോഹിതന്മാർക്കും പ്രവാചകന്മാർക്കും നെബൂഖദ്നേസർ യെരൂശലേമിൽ നിന്നു ബാബേലിലേക്കു പിടിച്ചുകൊണ്ടുപോയിരുന്ന സകലജനത്തിന്നും

English: By the hand of Elasah the son of Shaphan, and Gemariah the son of Hilkiah, (whom Zedekiah king of Judah sent unto Babylon to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon) saying,

Malayalam: യെഹൂദാരാജാവായ സിദെക്കീയാവു ബാബേൽരാജാവായ നെബൂഖദ്നേസരിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ബാബേലിലേക്കു അയച്ച ശാഫാന്റെ മകനായ എലാസയുടെയും ഹിൽക്കീയാവിന്റെ മകനായ ഗെമർയ്യാവിന്റെയും കൈവശം യെരൂശലേമിൽനിന്നു കൊടുത്തയച്ചു ലേഖനത്തിലെ വിവരം എന്തെന്നാൽ:

English: Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, unto all that are carried away captives, whom I have caused to be carried away from Jerusalem unto Babylon;

Malayalam: യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ, താൻ യെരൂശലേമിൽനിന്നു ബാബേലിലേക്കു പിടിച്ചുകൊണ്ടുപോകുമാറാക്കിയ സകലബദ്ധന്മാരോടും ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു:

English: Build all of you houses, and dwell in them; and plant gardens, and eat the fruit of them;

Malayalam: നിങ്ങൾ വീടുകളെ പണിതു പാർപ്പിൻ; തോട്ടങ്ങളെ ഉണ്ടാക്കി ഫലം അനുഭവിപ്പിൻ.

English: Take all of you wives, and brought forth sons and daughters; and take wives for your sons, and give your daughters to husbands, that they may bear sons and daughters; that all of you may be increased there, and not diminished.

Malayalam: ഭാര്യമാരെ പരിഗ്രഹിച്ചു പുത്രന്മാരെയും പുത്രിമാരെയും ജനിപ്പിപ്പിൻ; നിങ്ങൾ അവിടെ കുറഞ്ഞുപോകാതെ പെരുകേണ്ടതിന്നു പുത്രന്മാർക്കു ഭാര്യമാരെ എടുക്കയും പുത്രിമാരെ പുരുഷന്മാർക്കു കൊടുക്കയും ചെയ്‍വിൻ; അവരും പുത്രന്മാരെയും പുത്രിമാരെയും ജനിപ്പിക്കട്ടെ.

English: And seek the peace of the city where I have caused you to be carried away captives, and pray unto the LORD for it: for in the peace thereof shall all of you have peace.

Malayalam: ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ ബദ്ധന്മാരായി കൊണ്ടുപോകുമാറാക്കിയ പട്ടണത്തിന്റെ നന്മ അന്വേഷിച്ചു അതിന്നുവേണ്ടി യഹോവയോടു പ്രാർത്ഥിപ്പിൻ; അതിന്നു നന്മ ഉണ്ടെങ്കിൽ നിങ്ങൾക്കും നന്മ ഉണ്ടാകും.

English: For thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Let not your prophets and your diviners, that be in the midst of you, deceive you, neither hearken to your dreams which all of you cause to be dreamed.

Malayalam: യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയിലുള്ള നിങ്ങളുടെ പ്രവാചകന്മാരും പ്രശ്നക്കാരും നിങ്ങളെ ചതിക്കരുതു; നിങ്ങൾ കാണുന്ന സ്വപ്നങ്ങളെ കൂട്ടാക്കുകയും അരുതു.

English: For they prophesy falsely unto you in my name: I have not sent them, says the LORD.

Malayalam: അവർ എന്റെ നാമത്തിൽ നിങ്ങളോടു ഭോഷ്കു പ്രവചിക്കുന്നു; ഞാൻ അവരെ അയച്ചിട്ടില്ല എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

English: For thus says the LORD, That after seventy years be accomplished at Babylon I will visit you, and perform my good word toward you, in causing you to return to this place.

Malayalam: യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: ബാബേലിലെ എഴുപതു സംവത്സരം കഴിഞ്ഞശേഷമേ ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ സന്ദർശിച്ചു ഈ സ്ഥലത്തേക്കു മടക്കിവരുത്തുമെന്നു നിങ്ങളോടുള്ള എന്റെ വചനം ഞാൻ നിവർത്തിക്കയുള്ളു.

English: For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

Malayalam: നിങ്ങൾ പ്രത്യാശിക്കുന്ന ശുഭഭാവി വരുവാൻ തക്കവണ്ണം ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ചു നിരൂപിക്കുന്ന നിരൂപണങ്ങൾ ഇന്നവ എന്നു ഞാൻ അറിയുന്നു; അവ തിന്മെക്കല്ല നന്മെക്കത്രേയുള്ള നിരൂപണങ്ങൾ എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

English: Then shall all of you call upon me, and all of you shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.

Malayalam: നിങ്ങൾ എന്നോടു അപേക്ഷിച്ചു എന്റെ സന്നിധിയിൽവന്നു പ്രാർത്ഥിക്കയും ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ പ്രാർത്ഥന കേൾക്കയും ചെയ്യും

English: And all of you shall seek me, and find me, when all of you shall search for me with all your heart.

Malayalam: നിങ്ങൾ എന്നെ അന്വെഷിക്കും; പൂർണ്ണഹൃദയത്തോടെ അന്വേഷിക്കുമ്പോൾ നിങ്ങൾ എന്നെ കണ്ടെത്തും.

English: And I will be found of you, says the LORD: and I will turn away your captivity, and I will gather you from all the nations, and from all the places where I have driven you, says the LORD; and I will bring you again into the place whence I caused you to be carried away captive.

Malayalam: നിങ്ങൾ എന്നെ കണ്ടെത്തുവാൻ ഞാൻ ഇടയാക്കും എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു; ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ പ്രവാസം മാറ്റും; ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ നീക്കിക്കളഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്ന സകലജാതികളിൽനിന്നും എല്ലായിടങ്ങളിലുംനിന്നും നിങ്ങളെ ശേഖരിച്ചു ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ വിട്ടുപോകുമാറാക്കിയ സ്ഥലത്തേക്കു തന്നേ മടക്കിവരുത്തും എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

English: Because all of you have said, The LORD has raised us up prophets in Babylon;

Malayalam: യഹോവ ഞങ്ങൾക്കു ബാബേലിൽ പ്രവാചകന്മാരെ എഴുന്നേല്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ പറയുന്നുവല്ലോ.

English: Know that thus says the LORD of the king that sits upon the throne of David, and of all the people that dwells in this city, and of your brethren that are not gone forth with you into captivity;

Malayalam: ദാവീദിന്റെ സിംഹാസനത്തിൽ ഇരിക്കുന്ന രാജാവിനെക്കുറിച്ചും ഈ നഗരത്തിൽ പാർക്കുന്ന സകലജനത്തേയുംകുറിച്ചും നിങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ പ്രവാസത്തിലേക്കു വരാത്ത നിങ്ങളുടെ സഹോദരന്മാരെക്കുറിച്ചും യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.

English: Thus says the LORD of hosts; Behold, I will send upon them the sword, the famine, and the pestilence, and will make them like vile figs, that cannot be eaten, they are so evil.

Malayalam: അതേ, സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: ഇതാ, ഞാൻ അവർക്കു വാളും ക്ഷമവും മഹാമാരിയും അയച്ചു, എത്രയും ആകാത്തതും തിന്നുകൂടാതവണ്ണം ചീത്തയും ആയ അത്തപ്പഴത്തിന്നു അവരെ സമമാക്കും.

English: And I will persecute them with the sword, with the famine, and with the pestilence, and will deliver them to be removed to all the kingdoms of the earth, to be a curse, and an astonishment, and an hissing, and a reproach, among all the nations where I have driven them:

Malayalam: ഞാൻ അവരെ വാൾകൊണ്ടും ക്ഷാമംകൊണ്ടും മഹാമാരികൊണ്ടും വേട്ടയാടി ഭൂതലത്തിലെ സകലരാജ്യങ്ങൾക്കും ഭയഹേതുവും ഞാൻ അവരെ നീക്കിക്കളഞ്ഞ സകലജാതികളുടെയും ഇടയിൽ ഒരു ശാപവാക്യവും സ്തംഭനഹേതുവും പരിഹാസവിഷയവും നിന്ദയും ആക്കും.

English: Because they have not hearkened to my words, says the LORD, which I sent unto them by my servants the prophets, rising up early and sending them; but all of you would not hear, says the LORD.

Malayalam: പ്രവാചകന്മാരായ എന്റെ ദാസന്മാർമുഖാന്തരം ഞാൻ പറഞ്ഞയച്ച വചനങ്ങളെ അവർ കേൾക്കായ്കകൊണ്ടു തന്നേ എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു; ഞാൻ ഇടവിടാതെ അവരെ അയച്ചിട്ടും നിങ്ങൾ കേട്ടില്ല എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

English: Hear all of you therefore the word of the LORD, all you of the captivity, whom I have sent from Jerusalem to Babylon:

Malayalam: അതുകൊണ്ടു ഞാൻ യെരൂശലേമിൽനിന്നു ബാബേലിലേക്കു അയച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന സകല പ്രവാസികളുമായുള്ളോരേ, നിങ്ങൾ യഹോവയുടെ വചനം കേൾപ്പിൻ!

English: Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, of Ahab the son of Kolaiah, and of Zedekiah the son of Maaseiah, which prophesy a lie unto you in my name; Behold, I will deliver them into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon; and he shall slay them before your eyes;

Malayalam: എന്റെ നാമത്തിൽ നിങ്ങളോടു ഭോഷ്കു പ്രവചിക്കുന്ന കോലായാവിന്റെ മകനായ ആഹാബിനെക്കുറിച്ചും, മയസേയാവിന്റെ മകനായ സിദെക്കിയാവെക്കുറിച്ചും, യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: ഞാൻ അവരെ ബാബേൽ രാജാവായ നെബൂഖദ്നേസരിന്റെ കയ്യിൽ ഏല്പിക്കും; നിങ്ങൾ കാൺകെ അവൻ അവരെ കൊന്നുകളയും.

English: And of them shall be taken up a curse by all the captivity of Judah which are in Babylon, saying, The LORD make you like Zedekiah and like Ahab, whom the king of Babylon roasted in the fire;

Malayalam: ബാബേൽരാജാവു തീയിൽ ഇട്ടു ചുട്ടുകളഞ്ഞ സിദെക്കീയാവെപ്പോലെയും ആഹാബിനെപ്പോലെയും യഹോവ നിന്നെ ആക്കട്ടെ എന്നു ബാബേലിലുള്ള യെഹൂദാപ്രവാസിളെല്ലാം ഒരു ശാപവാക്യം അവരെച്ചൊല്ലിപറയും.

English: Because they have committed villainy in Israel, and have committed adultery with their neighbours' wives, and have spoken lying words in my name, which I have not commanded them; even I know, and am a witness, says the LORD.

Malayalam: അവർ യിസ്രായേലിൽ വഷളത്വം പ്രവർത്തിച്ചു തങ്ങളുടെ കൂട്ടുകാരുടെ ഭാര്യമാരോടു വ്യഭിചാരം ചെയ്കയും ഞാൻ അവരോടു കല്പിച്ചിട്ടില്ലാത്ത വചനം വ്യാജമായി എന്റെ നാമത്തിൽ പ്രസ്താവിക്കയും ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു; ഞാൻ അതു അറിയുന്നു, സാക്ഷിയും ആകുന്നു എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

English: Thus shall you also speak to Shemaiah the Nehelamite, saying,

Malayalam: നെഹെലാമ്യനായ ശെമയ്യാവോടു നീ പറയേണ്ടതു:

English: Thus speaks the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, saying, Because you have sent letters in your name unto all the people that are at Jerusalem, and to Zephaniah the son of Maaseiah the priest, and to all the priests, saying,

Malayalam: യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: നീ യെരൂശലേമിലെ സകലജനത്തിന്നും മയസേയാവിന്റെ മകനായ സെഫന്യാപുരോഹിതന്നും സകലപുരോഹിതന്മാർക്കും നിന്റെ പേരുവെച്ചു അയച്ച എഴുത്തുകളിൽ:

English: The LORD has made you priest in the position of Jehoiada the priest, that all of you should be officers in the house of the LORD, for every man that is mad, and makes himself a prophet, that you should put him in prison, and in the stocks.

Malayalam: നിങ്ങൾ യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിൽ ഭ്രാന്തുപിടിച്ചു പ്രവചിക്കുന്ന എതു മനുഷ്യനെയും പിടിച്ചു ആമത്തിലും വിലങ്ങിലും ഇടേണ്ടതിന്നു യഹോവ നിന്നെ യഹോയാദാപുരോഹിതന്നു പകരം പുരോഹിതനാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

English: Now therefore why have you not reproved Jeremiah of Anathoth, which makes himself a prophet to you?

Malayalam: ആകയാൽ നിങ്ങളോടു പ്രവചിക്കുന്ന അനാഥോത്തുകാരനായ യിരെമ്യാവെ നീ ശാസിക്കാതെ ഇരിക്കുന്നതെന്തു?

English: For therefore he sent unto us in Babylon, saying, This captivity is long: build all of you houses, and dwell in them; and plant gardens, and eat the fruit of them.

Malayalam: അതുകൊണ്ടല്ലോ അവൻ ബാബേലിൽ ഞങ്ങൾക്കു ആളയച്ചു: ഈ പ്രവാസം ദീർഘം ആയിരക്കും; നിങ്ങൾ വീടുകളെ പണിതു പാർപ്പിൻ; തോട്ടങ്ങളെ ഉണ്ടാക്കി ഫലം അനുഭവിപ്പിൻ എന്നു പറയിച്ചതു? എന്നു പ്രസ്താവിച്ചുവല്ലോ.

English: And Zephaniah the priest read this letter in the ears of Jeremiah the prophet.

Malayalam: ഈ എഴുത്തു സെഫന്യാപുരോഹിതൻ യിരെമ്യാപ്രവാചകൻ കേൾക്കെ വായിച്ചിരുന്നു.

English: Then came the word of the LORD unto Jeremiah, saying,

Malayalam: അപ്പോൾ യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു യിരെമ്യാവിന്നുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാൽ:

English: Send to all them of the captivity, saying, Thus says the LORD concerning Shemaiah the Nehelamite; Because that Shemaiah has prophesied unto you, and I sent him not, and he caused you to trust in a lie:

Malayalam: നീ സകലപ്രവാസികൾക്കും ആളയച്ചു, നെഹെലാമ്യനായ ശെമയ്യാവെക്കുറിച്ചു പറയിക്കേണ്ടതു; യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: ശെമയ്യാവെ ഞാൻ അയക്കാതെ ഇരുന്നിട്ടും അവൻ നിങ്ങളോടു പ്രവചിച്ചു നിങ്ങളെ ഭോഷ്കിൽ ആശ്രയിക്കുമാറാക്കിയതുകൊണ്ടു

English: Therefore thus says the LORD; Behold, I will punish Shemaiah the Nehelamite, and his seed: he shall not have a man to dwell among this people; neither shall he behold the good that I will do for my people, says the LORD; because he has taught rebellion against the LORD.

Malayalam: യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: ഞാൻ നെഹെലാമ്യനായ ശെമയ്യാവെയും അവന്റെ സന്തതിയെയും സന്ദർശിക്കും; ഈ ജനത്തിന്റെ മദ്ധ്യേ പാർപ്പാൻ അവന്നു ആരും ഉണ്ടാകയില്ല; എന്റെ ജനത്തിന്നു ഞാൻ വരുത്തുവാനിരിക്കുന്ന നന്മ അവൻ അനുഭവിക്കയുമില്ല; അവൻ യഹോവെക്കു വിരോധമായി ദ്രോഹം സംസാരിച്ചുവല്ലോ എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.
