Isaiah 44

English: Yet now hear, O Jacob my servant; and Israel, whom I have chosen:

Malayalam: ഇപ്പോഴോ, എന്റെ ദാസനായ യാക്കോബേ, ഞാൻ തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്ത യിസ്രായേലേ, കേൾക്ക.

English: Thus says the LORD that made you, and formed you from the womb, which will help you; Fear not, O Jacob, my servant; and you, Jesurun, whom I have chosen.

Malayalam: നിന്നെ ഉരുവാക്കിയവനും ഗർഭത്തിൽ നിന്നെ നിർമ്മിച്ചവനും നിന്നെ സഹായിച്ചവനുമായ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: എന്റെ ദാസനായ യാക്കോബേ, ഞാൻ തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്ത യെശുരൂനേ, നീ ഭയപ്പെടേണ്ടാ.

English: For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground: I will pour my spirit upon your seed, and my blessing upon yours offspring:

Malayalam: ദാഹിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നെടത്തു ഞാൻ വെള്ളവും വരണ്ട നിലത്തു നീരൊഴുക്കുകളും പകരും; നിന്റെ സന്തതിമേൽ എന്റെ ആത്മാവിനെയും നിന്റെ സന്താനത്തിന്മേൽ എന്റെ അനുഗ്രഹത്തെയും പകരും.

English: And they shall spring up as among the grass, as willows by the water courses.

Malayalam: അവർ പുല്ലിന്റെ ഇടയിൽ നീർത്തോടുകൾക്കരികെയുള്ള അലരികൾപോലെ മുളെച്ചുവരും.

English: One shall say, I am the LORD's; and another shall call himself by the name of Jacob; and another shall subscribe with his hand unto the LORD, and surname himself by the name of Israel.

Malayalam: ഞാൻ യഹോവെക്കുള്ളവൻ എന്നു ഒരുത്തൻ പറയും; മറ്റൊരുത്തൻ തനിക്കു യാക്കോബിന്റെ പേരെടുക്കും; വേറൊരുത്തൻ തന്റെ കൈമേൽ: യഹോവെക്കുള്ളവൻ എന്നു എഴുതി, യിസ്രായേൽ എന്നു മറുപേർ എടുക്കും.

English: Thus says the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.

Malayalam: യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ രാജാവായ യഹോവ, അവന്റെ വീണ്ടെടുപ്പുകാരനായ സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ, ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: ഞാൻ ആദ്യനും അന്ത്യനും ആകുന്നു; ഞാനല്ലാതെ ഒരു ദൈവവുമില്ല.

English: And who, as I, shall call, and shall declare it, and set it in order for me, since I appointed the ancient people? and the things that are coming, and shall come, let them show unto them.

Malayalam: ഞാൻ പുരാതനമായോരു ജനത്തെ സ്ഥാപിച്ചതുമുതൽ ഞാൻ എന്നപോലെ വിളിച്ചുപറകയും പ്രസ്താവിക്കയും എനിക്കുവേണ്ടി ഒരുക്കിവെക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നവൻ ആർ? സംഭവിക്കുന്നതും സംഭവിപ്പാനുള്ളതും അവർ പ്രസ്താവിക്കട്ടെ.

English: Fear all of you not, neither be afraid: have not I told you from that time, and have declared it? all of you are even my witnesses. Is there a God beside me? yea, there is no God; I know not any.

Malayalam: നിങ്ങൾ ഭയപ്പെടേണ്ടാ; പേടിക്കയും വേണ്ടാ; പണ്ടുതന്നേ ഞാൻ നിന്നോടു പ്രസ്താവിച്ചു കേൾപ്പിച്ചിട്ടില്ലയോ? നിങ്ങൾ എന്റെ സാക്ഷികൾ ആകുന്നു; ഞാനല്ലാതെ ഒരു ദൈവം ഉണ്ടോ? ഒരു പാറയും ഇല്ല; ഞാൻ ഒരുത്തനെയും അറിയുന്നില്ല.

English: They that make a graven image are all of them vanity; and their delectable things shall not profit; and they are their own witnesses; they see not, nor know; that they may be ashamed.

Malayalam: വിഗ്രഹത്തെ നിർമ്മിക്കുന്ന ഏവനും ശൂന്യം; അവരുടെ മനോഹരബിംബങ്ങൾ ഉപകരിക്കുന്നില്ല; അവയുടെ സാക്ഷികളോ ഒന്നും കാണുന്നില്ല, ഒന്നും അറിയുന്നതുമില്ല; ലജ്ജിച്ചുപോകുന്നതേയുള്ള.

English: Who has formed a god, or molten a graven image that is profitable for nothing?

Malayalam: ഒരു ദേവനെ നിർമ്മിക്കയോ ഒന്നിന്നും കൊള്ളരുതാത്ത ഒരു വിഗ്രഹത്തെ വാർക്കുകയോ ചെയ്യുന്നവൻ ആർ?

English: Behold, all his fellows shall be ashamed: and the workmen, they are of men: let them all be gathered together, let them stand up; yet they shall fear, and they shall be ashamed together.

Malayalam: ഇതാ അവന്റെ കൂട്ടക്കാർ എല്ലാവരും ലജ്ജിച്ചുപോകുന്നു; കൌശലപ്പണിക്കാരോ മനുഷ്യരത്രേ; അവർ എല്ലാവരും ഒന്നിച്ചുകൂടി നിൽക്കട്ടെ; അവർ ഒരുപോലെ വിറെച്ചു ലജ്ജിച്ചുപോകും.

English: The smith with the tongs both works in the coals, and fashions it with hammers, and works it with the strength of his arms: yea, he is hungry, and his strength fails: he drinks no water, and is faint.

Malayalam: കൊല്ലൻ ഉളിയെ മൂർച്ചയാക്കി തീക്കനലിൽ വേല ചെയ്തു ചുറ്റികകൊണ്ടു അടിച്ചു രൂപമാക്കി ബലമുള്ള ഭുജംകൊണ്ടു പണിതീർക്കുന്നു; അവൻ വിശന്നു ക്ഷീണിക്കുന്നു; വെള്ളം കുടിക്കാതെ തളർന്നുപോകുന്നു.

English: The carpenter stretches out his rule; he marks it out with a line; he fits it with planes, and he marks it out with the compass, and makes it after the figure of a man, according to the beauty of a man; that it may remain in the house.

Malayalam: ആശാരി തോതുപിടിച്ചു ഈയക്കോൽകൊണ്ടു അടയാളമിട്ടു ചീകുളികൊണ്ടു രൂപമാക്കുകയും വൃത്തയന്ത്രംകൊണ്ടു വരെക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നു; ഇങ്ങനെ അവൻ അതിനെ മനുഷ്യാകൃതിയിലും പുരുഷകോമളത്വത്തിലും തീർത്തു ക്ഷേത്രത്തിൽ വെക്കുന്നു.

English: He hews him down cedars, and takes the cypress and the oak, which he strengthens for himself among the trees of the forest: he plants an ash, and the rain does nourish it.

Malayalam: ഒരുവൻ ദേവദാരുക്കളെ വെട്ടുകയും തേക്കും കരിവേലവും എടുക്കയും കാട്ടിലെ വൃക്ഷങ്ങളിൽ അവയെ കണ്ടു ഉറപ്പിക്കയും ഒരു അശോകം നട്ടുപിടിപ്പിക്കയും, മഴ അതിനെ വളർത്തുകയു ചെയ്യുന്നു.

English: Then shall it be for a man to burn: for he will take thereof, and warm himself; yea, he kindles it, and bakes bread; yea, he makes a god, and worships it; he makes it a graven image, and falls down thereto.

Malayalam: പിന്നെ അതു മനുഷ്യന്നു തീ കത്തിപ്പാൻ ഉതകുന്നു; അവൻ അതിൽ കുറെ എടുത്തു തീ കായുകയും അതു കത്തിച്ചു അപ്പം ചുടുകയും അതുകൊണ്ടു ഒരു ദേവനെ ഉണ്ടാക്കി നമസ്കരിക്കയും ഒരു വിഗ്രഹം തീർത്തു അതിന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ സാഷ്ടാംഗം വീഴുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.

English: He burns part thereof in the fire; with part thereof he eats flesh; he roasts roast, and is satisfied: yea, he warms himself, and says, Aha, I am warm, I have seen the fire:

Malayalam: അതിൽ ഒരംശംകൊണ്ടു അവൻ തീ കത്തിക്കുന്നു; ഒരംശം കൊണ്ടു ഇറച്ചി ചുട്ടുതിന്നുന്നു; അങ്ങനെ അവൻ ചുട്ടുതിന്നു തൃപ്തനാകുന്നു; അവൻ തീ കാഞ്ഞു; നല്ല തീ, കുളിർ മാറി എന്നു പറയുന്നു.

English: And the residue thereof he makes a god, even his graven image: he falls down unto it, and worships it, and prays unto it, and says, Deliver me; for you are my god.

Malayalam: അതിന്റെ ശേഷിപ്പുകൊണ്ടു അവൻ ഒരു ദേവനെ, ഒരു വിഗ്രഹത്തെ തന്നേ, ഉണ്ടാക്കി അതിന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ സാഷ്ടാംഗം വീണു നമസ്കരിക്കയും അതിനോടു പ്രാർത്ഥിച്ചു: എന്നെ രക്ഷിക്കേണമേ; നീ എന്റെ ദേവനല്ലോ എന്നു പറകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.

English: They have not known nor understood: for he has shut their eyes, that they cannot see; and their hearts, that they cannot understand.

Malayalam: അവർ അറിയുന്നില്ല, ഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നതുമില്ല; കാണാതവണ്ണം അവരുടെ കണ്ണുകളെയും ഗ്രഹിക്കാതവണ്ണം അവരുടെ ഹൃദയങ്ങളെയും അവൻ അടെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

English: And none considers in his heart, neither is there knowledge nor understanding to say, I have burned part of it in the fire; yea, also I have baked bread upon the coals thereof; I have roasted flesh, and eaten it: and shall I make the residue thereof an abomination? shall I fall down to the stock of a tree?

Malayalam: ഒരുത്തനും ഹൃദയത്തിൽ വിചാരിക്കുന്നില്ല: ഒരംശം ഞാൻ കത്തിച്ചു കനലിൽ അപ്പം ചുട്ടു ഇറച്ചിയും ചുട്ടുതിന്നു; ശേഷിപ്പുകൊണ്ടു ഞാൻ ഒരു മ്ളേച്ഛവിഗ്രഹം ഉണ്ടാക്കുമോ? ഒരു മരമുട്ടിയുടെ മുമ്പിൽ സാഷ്ടാംഗം വീഴുമോ! എന്നിങ്ങനെ പറവാൻ തക്കവണ്ണം ഒരുത്തന്നും അറിവും ഇല്ല, ബോധവുമില്ല.

English: He feeds on ashes: a deceived heart has turned him aside, that he cannot deliver his soul, nor say, Is there not a lie in my right hand?

Malayalam: അവൻ വെണ്ണീർ തിന്നുന്നു; വഞ്ചിക്കപ്പെട്ട അവന്റെ ഹൃദയം അവനെ തെറ്റിച്ചുകളയുന്നു; അവൻ തന്റെ പ്രാണനെ രക്ഷിക്കുന്നില്ല; എന്റെ വലങ്കയ്യിൽ ഭോഷ്കില്ലയോ? എന്നു ചോദിക്കുന്നതുമില്ല.

English: Remember these, O Jacob and Israel; for you are my servant: I have formed you; you are my servant: O Israel, you shall not be forgotten of me.

Malayalam: യാക്കോബേ, ഇതു ഓർത്തുകൊൾക; യിസ്രായേലേ, നീ എന്റെ ദാസനല്ലോ; ഞാൻ നിന്നെ നിർമ്മിച്ചു; നീ എന്റെ ദാസൻ തന്നേ; യിസ്രായേലേ, ഞാൻ നിന്നെ മറന്നുകളകയില്ല.

English: I have blotted out, as a thick cloud, your transgressions, and, as a cloud, your sins: return unto me; for I have redeemed you.

Malayalam: ഞാൻ കാർമുകിലിനെപ്പോലെ നിന്റെ ലംഘനങ്ങളെയും മേഘത്തെപോലെ നിന്റെ പാപങ്ങളെയും മായിച്ചുകളയുന്നു; എങ്കലേക്കു തിരിഞ്ഞുകൊൾക; ഞാൻ നിന്നെ വീണ്ടെടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

English: Sing, O all of you heavens; for the LORD has done it: shout, all of you lower parts of the earth: break forth into singing, all of you mountains, O forest, and every tree therein: for the LORD has redeemed Jacob, and glorified himself in Israel.

Malayalam: ആകശമേ, ഘോഷിച്ചുല്ലസിക്ക; യഹോവ ഇതു ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു ഭൂമിയുടെ അധോഭാഗങ്ങളേ, ആർത്തുകൊൾവിൻ; പർവ്വതങ്ങളും വനവും സകലവൃക്ഷങ്ങളും ആയുള്ളോവേ, പൊട്ടിയാർക്കുവിൻ; യഹോവ യാക്കോബിനെ വീണ്ടെടുത്തു യിസ്രായേലിൽ തന്നെത്താൻ മഹത്വപ്പെടുത്തുന്നു.

English: Thus says the LORD, your redeemer, and he that formed you from the womb, I am the LORD that makes all things; that stretches forth the heavens alone; that spreads abroad the earth by myself;

Malayalam: നിന്റെ വീണ്ടെടുപ്പുകാരനും ഗർഭത്തിൽ നിന്നെ നിർമ്മിച്ചവനുമായ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: യഹോവയായ ഞാൻ സകലവും ഉണ്ടാക്കുന്നു; ഞാൻ തന്നേ ആകാശത്തെ വിരിക്കയും ഭൂമിയെ പരത്തുകയും ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു; ആർ എന്നോടുകൂടെ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു?

English: That frustrates the tokens of the liars, and makes diviners mad; that turns wise men backward, and makes their knowledge foolish;

Malayalam: ഞാൻ ജല്പകന്മാരുടെ ശകുനങ്ങളെ വ്യർത്ഥമാക്കുകയും പ്രശ്നക്കാരെ ഭ്രാന്തന്മാരാക്കുകയും ജ്ഞാനികളെ മടക്കി അവരുടെ ജ്ഞാനത്തെ ഭോഷത്വമാക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.

English: That confirms the word of his servant, and performs the counsel of his messengers; that says to Jerusalem, You shall be inhabited; and to the cities of Judah, All of you shall be built, and I will raise up the decayed places thereof:

Malayalam: ഞാൻ എന്റെ ദാസന്റെ വചനം നിവർത്തിച്ചു എന്റെ ദൂതന്മാരുടെ ആലോചന അനുഷ്ഠിക്കുന്നു; യെരൂശലേമിൽ നിവാസികൾ ഉണ്ടാകുമെന്നും യെഹൂദാനഗരങ്ങൾ പണിയപ്പെടും ഞാൻ അവയുടെ ഇടിവുകളെ നന്നാക്കും എന്നും കല്പിക്കുന്നു.

English: That says to the deep, Be dry, and I will dry up your rivers:

Malayalam: ഞാൻ ആഴിയോടു ഉണങ്ങിപ്പോക; നിന്റെ നദികളെ ഞാൻ വറ്റിച്ചുകളയും എന്നു കല്പിക്കുന്നു.

English: That says of Cyrus, He is my shepherd, and shall perform all my pleasure: even saying to Jerusalem, You shall be built; and to the temple, Your foundation shall be laid.

Malayalam: കോരെശ് എന്റെ ഇടയൻ അവൻ എന്റെ ഹിതമൊക്കെയും നിവർത്തിക്കും എന്നും യെരൂശലേം പണിയപ്പെടും, മന്ദിരത്തിന്നു അടിസ്ഥാനം ഇടും എന്നും ഞാൻ കല്പിക്കുന്നു.
