Isaiah 21

English: The burden of the desert of the sea. As whirlwinds in the south pass through; so it comes from the desert, from a terrible land.

Malayalam: സമുദ്രതീരത്തെ മരുഭൂമിയെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള പ്രവാചകം: തെക്കു ചുഴലിക്കാറ്റു അടിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ, അതു മരുഭൂമിയിൽനിന്നു ഭയങ്കരദേശത്തുനിന്നു തന്നേ വരുന്നു!

English: A grievous vision is declared unto me; the treacherous dealer deals treacherously, and the spoiler spoils. Go up, O Elam: besiege, O Media; all the sighing thereof have I made to cease.

Malayalam: കഠിനമായോരു ദർശനം എനിക്കു വെളിപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; ദ്രോഹി ദ്രോഹം ചെയ്യുന്നു; കവർച്ചക്കാരൻ കവർച്ച ചെയ്യുന്നു. ഏലാമേ, കയറിച്ചെല്ലുക, മേദ്യയേ, നിരോധിച്ചുകൊൾക; അതിന്റെ ഞരക്കമൊക്കെയും ഞാൻ നിർത്തിക്കളയും.

English: Therefore are my loins filled with pain: pangs have taken hold upon me, as the pangs of a woman that labors: I was bowed down at the hearing of it; I was dismayed at the seeing of it.

Malayalam: അതുകൊണ്ടു എന്റെ അരയിൽ വേദന നിറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു; നോവു കിട്ടിയ സ്ത്രീയുടെ നോവുപോലെയുള്ള വേദന എന്നെ പിടിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; എനിക്കു ചെവി കേട്ടുകൂടാതവണ്ണം ഞാൻ അതിവേദനപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; കണ്ണു കാണാതവണ്ണം ഞാൻ പരിഭ്രമിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

English: My heart panted, fearfulness affrighted me: the night of my pleasure has he turned into fear unto me.

Malayalam: എന്റെ ഹൃദയം പതറുന്നു; ഭീതി എന്നെ ഭ്രമിപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; ഞാൻ കാംക്ഷിച്ച സന്ധ്യാസമയം അവൻ എനിക്കു വിറയലാക്കിത്തീർത്തു.

English: Prepare the table, watch in the watchtower, eat, drink: arise, all of you princes, and anoint the shield.

Malayalam: മേശ ഒരുക്കുവിൻ; പരവതാനി വിരിപ്പിൻ; ഭക്ഷിച്ചു പാനം ചെയ്‍വിൻ; പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരേ, എഴുന്നേല്പിൻ; പരിചെക്കു എണ്ണ പൂശുവിൻ.

English: For thus has the LORD said unto me, Go, set a watchman, let him declare what he sees.

Malayalam: കർത്താവു എന്നോടു: നീ ചെന്നു ഒരു കാവൽക്കാരനെ നിർത്തിക്കൊൾക; അവൻ കാണുന്നതു അറിയിക്കട്ടെ.

English: And he saw a chariot with a couple of horsemen, a chariot of asses, and a chariot of camels; and he hearkened diligently with much heed:

Malayalam: ഈരണ്ടീരണ്ടായി വരുന്ന കുതിരപ്പടയെയും കഴുതപ്പടയെയും ഒട്ടകപ്പടയെയും കാണുമ്പോൾ അവൻ ബഹുശ്രദ്ധയോടെ ശ്രദ്ധിക്കട്ടെ എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു.

English: And he cried, A lion: My lord, I stand continually upon the watchtower in the daytime, and I am set in my ward whole nights:

Malayalam: അവൻ ഒരു സിംഹംപോലെ അലറി: കർത്താവേ, ഞാൻ പകൽ ഇടവിടാതെ കാവൽനില്ക്കുന്നു; രാത്രി മുഴുവനും ഞാൻ കാവൽ കാത്തുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നു.

English: And, behold, here comes a chariot of men, with a couple of horsemen. And he answered and said, Babylon is fallen, is fallen; and all the graven images of her gods he has broken unto the ground.

Malayalam: ഇതാ, ഒരു കൂട്ടം കുതിരച്ചേവകർ; ഈരണ്ടീരണ്ടായി കുതിരപ്പട വരുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. വീണു, ബാബേൽ വീണു! അതിലെ ദേവന്മാരുടെ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളൊക്കെയും നിലത്തു വീണു തകർന്നു കിടക്കുന്നു എന്നും അവൻ പറഞ്ഞു.

English: O my threshing, and the corn of my floor: that which I have heard of the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, have I declared unto you.

Malayalam: എന്റെ മെതിയോ, എന്റെ കളത്തിലെ ധാന്യമേ, യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു ഞാൻ കേട്ടിട്ടുള്ളതു നിങ്ങളോടു അറിയിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

English: The burden of Dumah. He calls to me out of Seir, Watchman, what of the night? Watchman, what of the night?

Malayalam: ദൂമയെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള പ്രവാചകം: കാവൽക്കാരാ, രാത്രി എന്തായി? കാവൽക്കാരാ, രാത്രി എന്തായി? എന്നു ഒരുത്തൻ സേയീരിൽനിന്നു എന്നോടു വിളിച്ചുചോദിക്കുന്നു.

English: The watchman said, The morning comes, and also the night: if all of you will enquire, enquire all of you: return, come.

Malayalam: അതിന്നു കാവൽക്കാരൻ: പ്രഭാതവും രാത്രിയും വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; നിങ്ങൾക്കു ചോദിക്കേണമെങ്കിൽ ചോദിച്ചു കൊൾവിൻ; പോയി വരുവിൻ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

English: The burden upon Arabia. In the forest in Arabia shall all of you lodge, O all of you travelling companies of Dedanim.

Malayalam: അറബിദേശത്തെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള പ്രവാചകം: ദേദാന്യരുടെ സാർത്ഥഗണങ്ങളായുള്ളോരേ, നിങ്ങൾ അറബിയിലെ കാട്ടിൽ രാപാർപ്പിൻ.

English: The inhabitants of the land of Tema brought water to him that was thirsty, they prevented with their bread him that fled.

Malayalam: തേമാദേശനിവാസികളേ, നിങ്ങൾ ദാഹിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നവന്നു വെള്ളം കൊണ്ടുചെല്ലുവിൻ; ഓടിപ്പോകുന്നവരെ അപ്പവുമായി ചെന്നു എതിരേല്പിൻ.

English: For they fled from the swords, from the drawn sword, and from the bent bow, and from the grievousness of war.

Malayalam: അവർ വാളിനെ ഒഴിഞ്ഞു ഓടിപ്പോകുന്നവരാകുന്നു; ഊരിയ വാളിനെയും കുലെച്ച വില്ലിനെയും യുദ്ധത്തിന്റെ കൊടുമയെയും ഒഴിഞ്ഞു ഓടുന്നവർ തന്നേ.

English: For thus has the LORD said unto me, Within a year, according to the years of a worker, and all the glory of Kedar shall fail:

Malayalam: കർത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം എന്നോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു: കൂലിക്കാരന്റെ ആണ്ടുപോലെയുള്ള ഒരു ആണ്ടിന്നകം കേദാരിന്റെ മഹത്വം ഒക്കെയും ക്ഷയിച്ചുപോകും;

English: And the residue of the number of archers, the mighty men of the children of Kedar, shall be diminished: for the LORD God of Israel has spoken it.

Malayalam: കേദാർയ്യരിൽ വീരന്മാരായ വില്ലാളികളുടെ കൂട്ടത്തിൽ ശേഷിക്കുന്നവർ ചുരുക്കമായിരിക്കും; യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയല്ലോ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നതു.
