Isaiah 13

English: The burden of Babylon, which Isaiah the son of Amoz did see.

Malayalam: ആമോസിന്റെ മകനായ യെശയ്യാവു ബാബേലിനെക്കുറിച്ചു ദർശിച്ച പ്രവാചകം:

English: Lift all of you up a banner upon the high mountain, exalt the voice unto them, shake the hand, that they may go into the gates of the nobles.

Malayalam: മൊട്ടക്കുന്നിന്മേൽ കൊടി ഉയർത്തുവിൻ; അവർ പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരുടെ വാതിലുകൾക്കകത്തു കടക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ശബ്ദം ഉയർത്തി അവരെ കൈ കാട്ടി വിളിപ്പിൻ.

English: I have commanded my sanctified ones, I have also called my mighty ones for mine anger, even them that rejoice in my highness.

Malayalam: ഞാൻ എന്റെ വിശുദ്ധീകരിക്കപ്പെട്ടവരോടു കല്പിച്ചു, ഗർവ്വത്തോടെ ഉല്ലസിക്കുന്ന എന്റെ വീരന്മാരെ ഞാൻ എന്റെ കോപത്തെ നിവർത്തിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു വിളിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

English: The noise of a multitude in the mountains, like of a great people; a tumultuous noise of the kingdoms of nations gathered together: the LORD of hosts musters the host of the battle.

Malayalam: ബഹുജനത്തിന്റെ ഘോഷംപോലെ പർവ്വതങ്ങളിൽ പുരുഷാരത്തിന്റെ ഒരു ഘോഷം! കൂടിയിരിക്കുന്ന ജാതികളുടെ രാജ്യങ്ങളുടെ ആരവം! സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ യുദ്ധസൈന്യത്തെ പരിശോധിക്കുന്നു.

English: They come from a far country, from the end of heaven, even the LORD, and the weapons of his indignation, to destroy the whole land.

Malayalam: ദേശത്തെ ഒക്കെയും നശിപ്പിപ്പാൻ ദൂരദേശത്തുനിന്നും ആകാശത്തിന്റെ അറ്റത്തുനിന്നും യഹോവയും അവന്റെ കോപത്തിന്റെ ആയുധങ്ങളും വരുന്നു.

English: Wail all of you; for the day of the LORD is at hand; it shall come as a destruction from the Almighty.

Malayalam: യഹോവയുടെ ദിവസം സമീപിച്ചിരിക്കകൊണ്ടു മുറയിടുവിൻ; അതു സർവ്വശക്തങ്കൽനിന്നു സർവ്വനാശംപോലെ വരുന്നു.

English: Therefore shall all hands be faint, and every man's heart shall melt:

Malayalam: അതുകൊണ്ടു എല്ലാ കൈകളും തളർന്നുപോകും; സകലഹൃദയവും ഉരുകിപ്പോകും.

English: And they shall be afraid: pangs and sorrows shall take hold of them; they shall be in pain as a woman that labors: they shall be amazed one at another; their faces shall be as flames.

Malayalam: അവർ ഭ്രമിച്ചുപോകും; വേദനയും ദുഃഖവും അവർക്കു പിടിപെടും; നോവു കിട്ടിയ സ്ത്രീയെപ്പോലെ അവർ വേദനപ്പെടും; അവർ അന്യോന്യം തുറിച്ചുനോക്കും; അവരുടെ മുഖം ജ്വലിച്ചിരിക്കും.

English: Behold, the day of the LORD comes, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it.

Malayalam: ദേശത്തെ ശൂന്യമാക്കുവാനും പാപികളെ അതിൽനിന്നു മുടിച്ചുകളവാനും യഹോവയുടെ ദിവസം ക്രൂരമായിട്ടു ക്രോധത്തോടും അതികോപത്തോടും കൂടെ വരുന്നു.

English: For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine.

Malayalam: ആകാശത്തിലെ നക്ഷത്രങ്ങളും നക്ഷത്രരാശികളും പ്രകാശം തരികയില്ല; സൂര്യൻ ഉദയത്തിങ്കൽ തന്നേ ഇരുണ്ടു പോകും; ചന്ദ്രൻ പ്രകാശം നല്കുകയുമില്ല.

English: And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.

Malayalam: ഞാൻ ഭൂതലത്തെ ദോഷംനിമിത്തവും ദുഷ്ടന്മാരെ അവരുടെ അകൃത്യംനിമിത്തവും സന്ദർശിക്കും; അഹങ്കാരികളുടെ ഗർവ്വത്തെ ഞാൻ ഇല്ലാതാക്കും; ഉഗ്രന്മാരുടെ നിഗളത്തെ താഴ്ത്തും.

English: I will make a man more precious than fine gold; even a man than the golden wedge of Ophir.

Malayalam: ഞാൻ ഒരു പുരുഷനെ തങ്കത്തെക്കാളും ഒരു മനുഷ്യനെ ഓഫീർതങ്കത്തെക്കാളും ദുർല്ലഭമാക്കും.

English: Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the LORD of hosts, and in the day of his fierce anger.

Malayalam: അങ്ങനെ ഞാൻ ആകാശത്തെ നടുങ്ങുമാറാക്കും; സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവയുടെ ക്രോധത്തിലും അവന്റെ ഉഗ്രകോപത്തിന്റെ നാളിലും ഭൂമി അതിന്റെ സ്ഥാനത്തു നിന്നു ഇളകിപ്പോകും;

English: And it shall be as the chased roe, and as a sheep that no man takes up: they shall every man turn to his own people, and flee every one into his own land.

Malayalam: ഓടിച്ചുവിട്ട ഇളമാനിനെപ്പോലെയും ആരും കൂട്ടിച്ചേർക്കാത്ത ആടുകളെപ്പോലെയും അവർ ഓരോരുത്തൻ താന്താന്റെ ജാതിയുടെ അടുക്കലേക്കു തിരിയും; ഓരോരുത്തൻ താന്താന്റെ സ്വദേശത്തിലേക്കു ഓടിപ്പോകും.

English: Every one that is found shall be thrust through; and every one that is joined unto them shall fall by the sword.

Malayalam: കണ്ടുകിട്ടുന്നവനെ ഒക്കെയും കുത്തിക്കൊല്ലും; പിടിപെടുന്നവനൊക്കെയും വാളാൽ വീഴും.

English: Their children also shall be dashed to pieces before their eyes; their houses shall be spoiled, and their wives ravished.

Malayalam: അവർ കാൺകെ അവരുടെ ശിശുക്കളെ അടിച്ചുതകർത്തുകളയും; അവരുടെ വീടുകളെ കൊള്ളയിടും; അവരുടെ ഭാര്യമാരെ അപമാനിക്കും.

English: Behold, I will stir up the Medes against them, which shall not regard silver; and as for gold, they shall not delight in it.

Malayalam: ഞാൻ മേദ്യരെ അവർക്കു വിരോധമായി ഉണർത്തും; അവർ വെള്ളിയെ കാര്യമാക്കുകയില്ല; പൊന്നിൽ അവർക്കു താല്പര്യവുമില്ല.

English: Their bows also shall dash the young men to pieces; and they shall have no pity on the fruit of the womb; their eyes shall not spare children.

Malayalam: അവരുടെ വില്ലുകൾ യുവാക്കളെ തകർത്തുകളയും; ഗർഭഫലത്തോടു അവക്കുകരുണ തോന്നുകയില്ല; പൈതങ്ങളെയും അവർ ആദരിക്കയില്ല.

English: And Babylon, the glory of kingdoms, the beauty of the Chaldees' excellency, shall be as when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah.

Malayalam: രാജ്യങ്ങളുടെ മഹത്വവും കല്ദയരുടെ പ്രശംസാലങ്കാരവുമായ ബാബേൽ, ദൈവം സൊദോമിനെയും ഗൊമോറയെയും മറിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞതുപോലെ ആയിത്തീരും.

English: It shall never be inhabited, neither shall it be dwelt in from generation to generation: neither shall the Arabian pitch tent there; neither shall the shepherds make their fold there.

Malayalam: അതിൽ ഒരുനാളും കുടിപാർപ്പുണ്ടാകയില്ല; തലമുറതലമുറയോളം അതിൽ ആരും വസിക്കയുമില്ല; അറബിക്കാരൻ അവിടെ കൂടാരം അടിക്കയില്ല; ഇടയന്മാർ അവിടെ ആടുകളെ കിടത്തുകയും ഇല്ല.

English: But wild beasts of the desert shall lie there; and their houses shall be full of doleful creatures; and owls shall dwell there, and satyrs shall dance there.

Malayalam: മരുമൃഗങ്ങൾ അവിടെ കിടക്കും; അവരുടെ വീടുകളിൽ മൂങ്ങാ നിറയും; ഒട്ടകപ്പക്ഷികൾ അവിടെ പാർക്കും; ഭൂതങ്ങൾ അവിടെ നൃത്തം ചെയ്യും.

English: And the wild beasts of the islands shall cry in their desolate houses, and dragons in their pleasant palaces: and her time is near to come, and her days shall not be prolonged.

Malayalam: അവരുടെ അരമനകളിൽ ചെന്നായ്ക്കളും അവരുടെ മനോഹരമന്ദിരങ്ങളിൽ കുറുനരികളും ഓളിയിടും; അതിന്റെ സമയം അടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു; അതിന്റെ കാലം ദീർഘിച്ചുപോകയുമില്ല.
