Hebrews 4

English: Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it.

Malayalam: അവന്റെ സ്വസ്ഥതയിൽ പ്രവേശിപ്പാനുള്ള വാഗ്ദത്തം ശേഷിച്ചിരിക്കയാൽ നിങ്ങളിൽ ആർക്കെങ്കിലും അതു ലഭിക്കാതെപോയി എന്നു വരാതിരിപ്പാൻ നാം ഭയപ്പെടുക.

English: For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.

Malayalam: അവരെപ്പോലെ നാമും ഒരു സദ്വർത്തമാനം കേട്ടവർ ആകുന്നു; എങ്കിലും കേട്ടവരിൽ വിശ്വാസമായി പരിണമിക്കായ്കകൊണ്ടു കേട്ട വചനം അവർക്കു ഉപകാരമായി വന്നില്ല.

English: For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.

Malayalam: വിശ്വസിച്ചവരായ നാമല്ലോ സ്വസ്ഥതയിൽ പ്രവേശിക്കുന്നു; ലോകസ്ഥാപനത്തിങ്കൽ പ്രവൃത്തികൾ തീർന്നുപോയശേഷവും: “അവർ എന്റെ സ്വസ്ഥതയിൽ പ്രവേശിക്കയില്ല എന്നു ഞാൻ എന്റെ കോപത്തിൽ സത്യം ചെയ്തു” എന്നു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ.

English: For he spoke in a certain place of the seventh day likewise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works.

Malayalam: ഏഴാം നാളിൽ ദൈവം തന്റെ സകല പ്രവൃത്തികളിൽനിന്നു നിവൃത്തനായി” എന്നു ഏഴാം നാളിനെക്കുറിച്ചു ഒരേടത്തു പറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു.

English: And in this place again, If they shall enter into my rest.

Malayalam: “എന്റെ സ്വസ്ഥതയിൽ അവർ പ്രവേശിക്കയില്ല” എന്നു ഇവിടെ പിന്നെയും അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.

English: Seeing therefore it remains that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief:

Malayalam: അതുകൊണ്ടു ചിലർ അതിൽ പ്രവേശിപ്പാൻ ഇട ശേഷിച്ചിരിക്കയാലും മുമ്പെ സദ്വർത്തമാനം കേട്ടവർ അനുസരണക്കേടുനിമിത്തം പ്രവേശിക്കാതെ പോകയാലും

English: Again, he limits a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a time; as it is said, To day if all of you will hear his voice, harden not your hearts.

Malayalam: ഇത്ര കാലത്തിന്റെ ശേഷം ദാവീദ് മുഖാന്തരം: “ഇന്നു അവന്റെ ശബ്ദം കേൾക്കുന്നു എങ്കിൽ നിങ്ങളുടെ ഹൃദയം കഠിനമാക്കരുതു” എന്നു മുമ്പെ പറഞ്ഞതുപോലെ “ഇന്നു” എന്നൊരു ദിവസം പിന്നെയും നിശ്ചയിക്കുന്നു.

English: For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day.

Malayalam: യോശുവ അവർക്കു സ്വസ്ഥത വരുത്തി എങ്കിൽ മറ്റൊരു ദിവസത്തെക്കുറിച്ചു പിന്നത്തേതിൽ കല്പിക്കയില്ലായിരുന്നു;

English: There remains therefore a rest to the people of God.

Malayalam: ആകയാൽ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ജനത്തിന്നു ഒരു ശബ്ബത്തനുഭവം ശേഷിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

English: For he that is entered into his rest, he also has ceased from his own works, as God did from his.

Malayalam: ദൈവം തന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തികളിൽനിന്നു എന്നപോലെ അവന്റെ സ്വസ്ഥതയിൽ പ്രവേശിച്ചവൻ താനും തന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തികളിൽനിന്നു നിവൃത്തനായിത്തീർന്നു.

English: Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.

Malayalam: അതുകൊണ്ടു ആരും അനുസരണക്കേടിന്റെ സമദൃഷ്ടാന്തത്തിന്നൊത്തവണ്ണം വീഴാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നാം ആ സ്വസ്ഥതയിൽ പ്രവേശിപ്പാൻ ഉത്സാഹിക്ക.

English: For the word of God is active, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Malayalam: ദൈവത്തിന്റെ വചനം ജീവനും ചൈതന്യവുമുള്ളതായി ഇരുവായ്ത്തലയുള്ള ഏതു വാളിനെക്കാളും മൂർച്ചയേറിയതും പ്രാണനെയും ആത്മാവിനെയും സന്ധിമജ്ജകളെയും വേറുവിടുവിക്കുംവരെ തുളെച്ചുചെല്ലുന്നതും ഹൃദയത്തിലെ ചിന്തനങ്ങളെയും ഭാവങ്ങളെയും വിവേചിക്കുന്നതും ആകുന്നു.

English: Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.

Malayalam: അവന്നു മറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്ന ഒരു സൃഷ്ടിയുമില്ല; സകലവും അവന്റെ കണ്ണിന്നു നഗ്നവും മലർന്നതുമായി കിടക്കുന്നു; അവനുമായിട്ടാകുന്നു നമുക്കു കാര്യമുള്ളതു.

English: Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.

Malayalam: ആകയാൽ ദൈവപുത്രനായ യേശു ആകാശത്തിൽകൂടി കടന്നുപോയോരു ശ്രേഷ്ഠമഹാപുരോഹിതനായി നമുക്കു ഉള്ളതുകൊണ്ടു നാം നമ്മുടെ സ്വീകാരം മറുകെപ്പിടിച്ചുകൊൾക.

English: For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like we are, yet without sin.

Malayalam: നമുക്കുള്ള മഹാപുരോഹിതൻ നമ്മുടെ ബലഹീനതകളിൽ സഹതാപം കാണിപ്പാൻ കഴിയാത്തവനല്ല; പാപം ഒഴികെ സർവ്വത്തിലും നമുക്കു തുല്യമായി പരീക്ഷിക്കപ്പെട്ടവനത്രേ നമുക്കുള്ളതു.

English: Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

Malayalam: അതുകൊണ്ടു കരുണ ലഭിപ്പാനും തത്സമയത്തു സഹായത്തിന്നുള്ള കൃപ പ്രാപിപ്പാനുമായി നാം ധൈര്യത്തോടെ കൃപാസനത്തിന്നു അടുത്തു ചെല്ലുക.
