Genesis 10

English: Now these are the generations of the sons of Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth: and unto them were sons born after the flood.

Malayalam: നോഹയുടെ പുത്രന്മാരായ ശേം, ഹാം, യാഫെത്ത് എന്നവരുടെ വംശപാരമ്പര്യമാവിതു: ജലപ്രളയത്തിന്റെ ശേഷം അവർക്കു പുത്രന്മാർ ജനിച്ചു.

English: The sons of Japheth; Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras.

Malayalam: യാഫെത്തിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: ഗോമെർ, മാഗോഗ്, മാദായി, യാവാൻ, തൂബൽ, മേശെക്, തീരാസ്.

English: And the sons of Gomer; Ashkenaz, and Riphath, and Togarmah.

Malayalam: ഗോമെരിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: അസ്കെനാസ്, രീഫത്ത്, തോഗർമ്മാ.

English: And the sons of Javan; Elishah, and Tarshish, Kittim, and Dodanim.

Malayalam: യാവാന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: എലീശാ, തർശീശ്, കിത്തീം, ദോദാനീം.

English: By these were the isles of the Gentiles divided in their lands; every one after his tongue, after their families, in their nations.

Malayalam: ഇവരാൽ ജാതികളുടെ ദ്വീപുകൾ അതതു ദേശത്തിൽ ഭാഷഭാഷയായും ജാതിജാതിയായും കുലംകുലമായും പിരിഞ്ഞു.

English: And the sons of Ham; Cush, and Mizraim, and Phut, and Canaan.

Malayalam: ഹാമിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: കൂശ്, മിസ്രയീം, പൂത്ത്, കനാൻ.

English: And the sons of Cush; Seba, and Havilah, and Sabtah, and Raamah, and Sabtechah: and the sons of Raamah; Sheba, and Dedan.

Malayalam: കൂശിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: സെബാ, ഹവീലാ, സബ്താ, രമാ, സബ്തെക്കാ; രമയുടെ പുത്രന്മാർ: ശെബയും ദെദാനും.

English: And Cush brings forth Nimrod: he began to be a mighty one in the earth.

Malayalam: കൂശ് നിമ്രോദിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു; അവൻ ഭൂമിയിൽ ആദ്യവീരനായിരുന്നു.

English: He was a mighty hunter before the LORD: wherefore it is said, Even as Nimrod the mighty hunter before the LORD.

Malayalam: അവൻ യഹോവയുടെ മുമ്പാകെ നായാട്ടു വീരനായിരുന്നു; അതുകൊണ്ടു: യഹോവയുടെ മുമ്പാകെ നിമ്രോദിനെപ്പോലെ നായാട്ടു വീരൻ എന്നു പഴഞ്ചൊല്ലായി.

English: And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel, and Erech, and Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar.

Malayalam: അവന്റെ രാജ്യത്തിന്റെ ആരംഭം ശിനാർദേശത്തു ബാബേൽ, ഏരെക്ക്, അക്കാദ്, കൽനേ എന്നിവ ആയിരുന്നു.

English: Out of that land went forth Asshur, and built Nineveh, and the city Rehoboth, and Calah,

Malayalam: ആ ദേശത്തനിന്നു അശ്ശൂർ പുറപ്പെട്ടു നീനവേ, രെഹോബത്ത് പട്ടണം, കാലഹ്,

English: And Resen between Nineveh and Calah: the same is a great city.

Malayalam: നീനവെക്കും കാലഹിന്നും മദ്ധ്യേ മഹാനഗരമായ രേശെൻ എന്നിവ പണിതു.

English: And Mizraim brings forth Ludim, and Anamim, and Lehabim, and Naphtuhim,

Malayalam: മിസ്രയീമോ; ലൂദീം, അനാമീം, ലെഹാബീം, നഫ്തൂഹീം, പത്രൂസീം, കസ്ളൂഹീം--

English: And Pathrusim, and Casluhim, (out of whom came Philistim,) and Caphtorim.

Malayalam: ഇവരിൽനിന്നു ഫെലിസ്ഥ്യർ ഉത്ഭവിച്ചു-- കഫ്തോരീം എന്നിവരെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു.

English: And Canaan brings forth Sidon his first born, and Heth,

Malayalam: കനാൻ തന്റെ ആദ്യജാതനായ സീദോൻ, ഹേത്ത്,

English: And the Jebusite, and the Amorite, and the Girgasite,

Malayalam: യെബൂസ്യൻ, അമോർയ്യൻ,

English: And the Hivite, and the Arkite, and the Sinite,

Malayalam: ഗിർഗ്ഗശ്യൻ, ഹിവ്യൻ, അർക്ക്യൻ, സീന്യൻ,

English: And the Arvadite, and the Zemarite, and the Hamathite: and afterward were the families of the Canaanites spread abroad.

Malayalam: അർവ്വാദ്യൻ, സെമാർയ്യൻ, ഹമാത്യൻ എന്നിവരെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു. പിന്നീടു കനാന്യവംശങ്ങൾ പരന്നു.

English: And the border of the Canaanites was from Sidon, as you come to Gerar, unto Gaza; as you go, unto Sodom, and Gomorrah, and Admah, and Zeboim, even unto Lasha.

Malayalam: കനാന്യരുടെ അതിർ സീദോൻ തുടങ്ങി ഗെരാർവഴിയായി ഗസ്സാവരെയും സൊദോമും ഗൊമോരയും ആദ്മയും സെബോയീമും വഴിയായി ലാശവരെയും ആയിരുന്നു.

English: These are the sons of Ham, after their families, after their tongues, in their countries, and in their nations.

Malayalam: ഇവർ അതതു ദേശത്തിൽ ജാതിജാതിയായും കുലംകുലമായും ഭാഷഭാഷയായും ഹാമിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ.

English: Unto Shem also, the father of all the children of Eber, the brother of Japheth the elder, even to him were children born.

Malayalam: ഏബെരിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർക്കൊക്കെയും പിതാവും യാഫെത്തിന്റെ ജ്യേഷ്ഠനുമായ ശേമിന്നും പുത്രന്മാർ ജനിച്ചു.

English: The children of Shem; Elam, and Asshur, and Arphaxad, and Lud, and Aram.

Malayalam: ശേമിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: ഏലാം, അശ്ശൂർ, അർപ്പക്ഷാദ്, ലൂദ്, അരാം.

English: And the children of Aram; Uz, and Hul, and Gether, and Mash.

Malayalam: അരാമിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: ഊസ്, ഹൂൾ, ഗേഥെർ, മശ്.

English: And Arphaxad brings forth Salah; and Salah brings forth Eber.

Malayalam: അർപ്പക്ഷാദ് ശാലഹിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു; ശാലഹ് ഏബെരിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു.

English: And unto Eber were born two sons: the name of one was Peleg; for in his days was the earth divided; and his brother's name was Joktan.

Malayalam: ഏബെരിന്നു രണ്ടു പുത്രന്മാർ ജനിച്ചു; ഒരുത്തുന്നു പേലെഗ് എന്നു പേർ; അവന്റെ കാലത്തായിരുന്നു ഭൂവാസികൾ പിരിഞ്ഞുപോയതു; അവന്റെ സഹോദരന്നു യൊക്താൻ എന്നു പേർ.

English: And Joktan brings forth Almodad, and Sheleph, and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah,

Malayalam: യൊക്താനോ: അല്മോദാദ്,

English: And Hadoram, and Uzal, and Diklah,

Malayalam: ശാലെഫ്, ഹസർമ്മാവെത്ത്, യാരഹ്, ഹദോരാം,

English: And Obal, and Abimael, and Sheba,

Malayalam: ഊസാൽ, ദിക്ളാ, ഓബാൽ, അബീമയേൽ,

English: And Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab: all these were the sons of Joktan.

Malayalam: ശെബാ, ഓഫീർ, ഹവീലാ, യോബാബ് എന്നിവരെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു; ഇവർ എല്ലാവരും യൊക്താന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ ആയിരുന്നു.

English: And their dwelling was from Mesha, as you go unto Sephar a mount of the east.

Malayalam: അവരുടെ വാസസ്ഥലം മേശാതുടങ്ങി കിഴക്കൻ മലയായ സെഫാർവരെ ആയിരുന്നു.

English: These are the sons of Shem, after their families, after their tongues, in their lands, after their nations.

Malayalam: ഇവർ അതതു ദേശത്തിൽ ജാതിജാതിയായും കുലംകുലമായും ഭാഷഭാഷയായും ശേമിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ.

English: These are the families of the sons of Noah, after their generations, in their nations: and by these were the nations divided in the earth after the flood.

Malayalam: ഇവർ തന്നേ ജാതിജാതിയായും കുലംകുലമായും നോഹയുടെ പുത്രന്മാരുടെ വംശങ്ങൾ. അവരിൽനിന്നാകുന്നു ജലപ്രളയത്തിന്റെശേഷം ഭൂമിയിൽ ജാതികൾ പിരിഞ്ഞുപോയതു.
