Galatians 5

English: Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ has made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

Malayalam: സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യത്തിന്നായിട്ടു ക്രിസ്തു നമ്മെ സ്വതന്ത്രരാക്കി; ആകയാൽ അതിൽ ഉറെച്ചുനില്പിൻ; അടിമനുകത്തിൽ പിന്നെയും കുടുങ്ങിപ്പോകരുതു.

English: Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if all of you be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing.

Malayalam: നിങ്ങൾ പരിച്ഛേദന ഏറ്റാൽ ക്രിസ്തുവിനെക്കൊണ്ടു നിങ്ങൾക്കു ഒരു പ്രയോജനവുമില്ല എന്നു പൌലൊസായ ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു.

English: For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law.

Malayalam: പരിച്ഛേദന ഏല്ക്കുന്ന ഏതു മനുഷ്യനോടും: അവൻ ന്യായപ്രമാണം മുഴുവനും നിവർത്തിപ്പാൻ കടമ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു ഞാൻ പിന്നെയും സാക്ഷീകരിക്കുന്നു.

English: Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; all of you are fallen from grace.

Malayalam: ന്യായപ്രമാണത്താൽ നീതീകരിക്കപ്പെടുവാൻ ഇച്ഛിക്കുന്ന നിങ്ങൾ ക്രിസ്തുവിനോടു വേറുപെട്ടുപോയി; നിങ്ങൾ കൃപയിൽനിന്നു വീണുപോയി.

English: For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.

Malayalam: ഞങ്ങളോ വിശ്വാസത്താൽ നീതി ലഭിക്കും എന്നുള്ള പ്രത്യാശാനിവൃത്തിയെ ആത്മാവിനാൽ കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

English: For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision avails any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which works by love.

Malayalam: ക്രിസ്തുയേശുവിൽ പരിച്ഛേദനയല്ല അഗ്രചർമ്മവുമല്ല സ്നേഹത്താൽ വ്യാപരിക്കുന്ന വിശ്വാസമത്രേ കാര്യം.

English: All of you did run well; who did hinder you that all of you should not obey the truth?

Malayalam: നിങ്ങൾ നന്നായി ഓടിയിരുന്നു; സത്യം അനുസരിക്കാതിരിപ്പാൻ നിങ്ങളെ ആർ തടുത്തു കളഞ്ഞു?

English: This persuasion comes not of him that calls you.

Malayalam: ഇങ്ങനെ നിങ്ങളെ അനുസരിപ്പിച്ചതു നിങ്ങളെ വിളിച്ചവന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തിയല്ല.

English: A little leaven leavens the whole lump.

Malayalam: അസാരം പുളിമാവു പിണ്ഡത്തെ മുഴുവനും പുളിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.

English: I have confidence in you through the Lord, that all of you will be none otherwise minded: but he that troubles you shall bear his judgment, whosoever he be.

Malayalam: നിങ്ങൾക്കു ഭിന്നാഭിപ്രായമുണ്ടാകയില്ല എന്നു ഞാൻ കർത്താവിൽ ഉറെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; എന്നാൽ നിങ്ങളെ കലക്കുന്നവൻ ആരായാലും ശിക്ഷാവിധി ചുമക്കും.

English: And I, brethren, if I yet preach circumcision, why do I yet suffer persecution? then is the offence of the cross ceased.

Malayalam: ഞാനോ, സഹോദരന്മാരേ, ഇപ്പോഴും പരിച്ഛേദന പ്രസംഗിക്കുന്നു എന്നു വരികിൽ ഇനിയും ഉപദ്രവം സഹിക്കുന്നതു എന്തു? അങ്ങനെ എങ്കിൽ ക്രൂശിന്റെ ഇടർച്ച നീങ്ങിപ്പോയല്ലോ.

English: I would they were even cut off which trouble you.

Malayalam: നിങ്ങളെ കലഹിപ്പിക്കുന്നവർ അംഗച്ഛേദം ചെയ്തുകൊണ്ടാൽ കൊള്ളായിരുന്നു.

English: For, brethren, all of you have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.

Malayalam: സഹോദരന്മാരേ, നിങ്ങൾ സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യത്തിന്നായി വിളിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; ഈ സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യം ജഡത്തിന്നു അവസരമാക്കുക മാത്രം ചെയ്യാതെ സ്നേഹത്താൽ അന്യോന്യം സേവിപ്പിൻ.

English: For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; You shall love your neighbour as yourself.

Malayalam: കൂട്ടുകാരനെ നിന്നെപ്പോലെ തന്നേ സ്നേഹിക്കേണം. എന്നുള്ള ഏകവാക്യത്തിൽ ന്യായപ്രമാണം മുഴുവനും അടങ്ങിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

English: But if all of you bite and devour one another, take heed that all of you be not consumed one of another.

Malayalam: നിങ്ങൾ അന്യോന്യം കടിക്കയും തിന്നുകളയും ചെയ്താലോ ഒരുവനാൽ ഒരുവൻ ഒടുങ്ങിപ്പോകാതിരിപ്പാൻ സൂക്ഷിച്ചുകൊൾവിൻ.

English: This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and all of you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.

Malayalam: ആത്മാവിനെ അനുസരിച്ചുനടപ്പിൻ; എന്നാൽ നിങ്ങൾ ജഡത്തിന്റെ മോഹം നിവർത്തിക്കയില്ല എന്നു ഞാൻ പറയുന്നു.

English: For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that all of you cannot do the things that all of you would.

Malayalam: ജഡാഭിലാഷം ആത്മാവിന്നും ആത്മാഭിലാഷം ജഡത്തിന്നും വിരോധമായിരിക്കുന്നു. നിങ്ങൾ ഇച്ഛിക്കുന്നതു ചെയ്യാതവണ്ണം അവ തമ്മിൽ പ്രതികൂലമല്ലോ.

English: But if all of you be led of the Spirit, all of you are not under the law.

Malayalam: ആത്മാവിനെ അനുസരിച്ചുനടക്കുന്നു എങ്കിൽ നിങ്ങൾ ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തിൻ കീഴുള്ളവരല്ല.

English: Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,

Malayalam: ജഡത്തിന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തികളോ ദുർന്നടപ്പു, അശുദ്ധി, ദുഷ്കാമം, വിഗ്രഹാരാധന,

English: Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, worldy jealousies, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,

Malayalam: ആഭിചാരം, പക, പിണക്കം, ജാരശങ്ക, ക്രോധം, ശാഠ്യം,

English: Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

Malayalam: ദ്വന്ദ്വപക്ഷം, ഭിന്നത, അസൂയ, മദ്യപാനം, വെറിക്കൂത്തു മുതലായവ എന്നു വെളിവാകുന്നു; ഈ വക പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നവർ ദൈവരാജ്യം അവകാശമാക്കുകയില്ല എന്നു ഞാൻ മുമ്പെ പറഞ്ഞതുപോലെ ഇപ്പോഴും നിങ്ങളോടു മുൻകൂട്ടി പറയുന്നു.

English: But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

Malayalam: ആത്മാവിന്റെ ഫലമോ: സ്നേഹം, സന്തോഷം, സമാധാനം, ദീർഘക്ഷമ, ദയ, പരോപകാരം, വിശ്വസ്തത, സൌമ്യത,

English: Meekness, wilful restrain: against such there is no law.

Malayalam: ഇന്ദ്രിയജയം; ഈ വകെക്കു വിരോധമായി ഒരു ന്യായപ്രമാണവുമില്ല.

English: And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.

Malayalam: ക്രിസ്തുയേശുവിന്നുള്ളവർ ജഡത്തെ അതിന്റെ രാഗമോഹങ്ങളോടും കൂടെ ക്രൂശിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

English: If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

Malayalam: ആത്മാവിനാൽ നാം ജീവിക്കുന്നു എങ്കിൽ ആത്മാവിനെ അനുസരിച്ചു നടക്കുകയും ചെയ്ക.

English: Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.

Malayalam: നാം അന്യോന്യം പോരിന്നു വിളിച്ചും അന്യോന്യം അസൂയപ്പെട്ടുംകൊണ്ടു വൃഥാഭിമാനികൾ ആകരുതു.
