Esther 10

English: And the king Ahasuerus laid a tribute upon the land, and upon the isles of the sea.

Malayalam: അനന്തരം അഹശ്വേരോശ്‌രാജാവു ദേശത്തിന്നും സമുദ്രത്തിലെ ദ്വീപുകൾക്കും ഒരു കരം കല്പിച്ചു.

English: And all the acts of his power and of his might, and the declaration of the greatness of Mordecai, unto which the king advanced him, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Media and Persia?

Malayalam: അവന്റെ ബലത്തിന്റെയും പരാക്രമത്തിന്റെയും സകലവൃത്താന്തങ്ങളും രാജാവു മൊർദ്ദെഖായിയെ ഉയർത്തിയ ഉന്നത പദവിയുടെ വിവരവും മേദ്യയിലെയും പാർസ്യയിലെയും രാജാക്കന്മാരുടെ വൃത്താന്തപുസ്തകത്തിൽ എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

English: For Mordecai the Jew was next unto king Ahasuerus, and great among the Jews, and accepted of the multitude of his brethren, seeking the wealth of his people, and speaking peace to all his seed.

Malayalam: യെഹൂദനായ മൊർദ്ദെഖായി അഹശ്വേരോശ്‌രാജാവിന്റെ രണ്ടാമനും യെഹൂദന്മാരിൽവെച്ചു മഹാനും സഹോദരസംഘത്തിന്നു ഇഷ്ടനും സ്വജനത്തിന്നു ഗുണകാംക്ഷിയും തന്റെ സർവ്വവംശത്തിന്നും അനുകൂലവാദിയും ആയിരുന്നു.
