Acts 24

English: And after five days Ananias the high priest descended with the elders, and with a certain orator named Tertullus, who informed the governor against Paul.

Malayalam: അഞ്ചുനാൾ കഴിഞ്ഞശേഷം മഹാപുരോഹിതനായ അനന്യാസ് മൂപ്പന്മാരോടും തെർത്തുല്ലൊസ് എന്ന ഒരു വ്യവഹാരജ്ഞനോടും കൂടി വന്നു. പൌലൊസിന്റെ നേരെ ദേശാധിപതിയുടെ മുമ്പാകെ അന്യായം ബോധിപ്പിച്ചു.

English: And when he was called forth, Tertullus began to accuse him, saying, Seeing that by you we enjoy great quietness, and that very worthy deeds are done unto this nation by your providence,

Malayalam: അവനെ വിളിച്ചാറെ തെർത്തുല്ലൊസ് അന്യായം വിവരിച്ചു പറഞ്ഞതെന്തെന്നാൽ:

English: We accept it always, and in all places, most noble Felix, with all thankfulness.

Malayalam: രാജശ്രീ ഫേലിക്സേ, നീമുഖാന്തരം ഞങ്ങൾ വളരെ സമാധാനം അനുഭവിക്കുന്നതും നിന്റെ പരിപാലനത്താൽ ഈ ജാതിക്കു ഏറിയ ഗുണീകരണങ്ങൾ സാധിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നതും ഞങ്ങൾ എപ്പോഴും എല്ലായിടത്തും പൂർണ്ണനന്ദിയോടും കൂടെ അംഗീകരിക്കുന്നു.

English: Notwithstanding, that I be not wearisome anymore unto you, I pray you that you would hear us of your clemency a few words.

Malayalam: എങ്കിലും നിന്നെ അധികം അസഹ്യപ്പെടുത്തരുതു എന്നുവെച്ചു ക്ഷമയോടെ ചുരുക്കത്തിൽ ഞങ്ങളുടെ അന്യായം കേൾക്കേണം എന്നു അപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നു.

English: For we have found this man a pestilent fellow, and a mover of sedition among all the Jews throughout the world, and a ringleader of the sect of the Nazarenes:

Malayalam: ഈ പുരുഷൻ ഒരു ബാധയും ലോകത്തിലുള്ള സകല യെഹൂദന്മാരുടെയും ഇടയിൽ കലഹമുണ്ടാക്കുന്നവനും നസറായമതത്തിന്നു മുമ്പനും എന്നു ഞങ്ങൾ കണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.

English: Who also has gone about to profane the temple: whom we took, and would have judged according to our law.

Malayalam: അവൻ ദൈവാലയം തീണ്ടിപ്പാനും ശ്രമിച്ചു. അവനെ ഞങ്ങൾ പിടിച്ചു (ഞങ്ങളുടെ ന്യായപ്രമാണപ്രകാരം വിസ്തരിപ്പാൻ വിചാരിച്ചു.

English: But the chief captain Lysias came upon us, and with great violence took him away out of our hands,

Malayalam: എങ്കിലും സഹസ്രാധിപനായ ലുസിയാസ് വളരെ ബലത്തോടു വന്നു അവനെ ഞങ്ങളുടെ കയ്യിൽനിന്നു പിടിച്ചുകൊണ്ടുപോയി.

English: Commanding his accusers to come unto you: by examining of whom yourself may take knowledge of all these things, whereof we accuse him.

Malayalam: അവന്റെ വാദികൾ നിന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ വരുവാൻ കല്പിച്ചു) നീ തന്നേ അവനെ വിസ്തരിച്ചാൽ ഞങ്ങൾ അന്യായം ബോധിപ്പിക്കുന്ന ഈ സകല സംഗതികളും അറിഞ്ഞുകൊൾവാൻ ഇടയാകും.

English: And the Jews also assented, saying that these things were so.

Malayalam: അതു അങ്ങനെ തന്നേ എന്നു യെഹൂദന്മാരും യോജിച്ചു പറഞ്ഞു.

English: Then Paul, after that the governor had beckoned unto him to speak, answered, Forasmuch as I know that you have been of many years a judge unto this nation, I do the more cheerfully answer for myself:

Malayalam: സംസാരിക്കാം എന്നു ദേശാധിപതി ആംഗ്യം കാട്ടിയാറെ പൌലൊസ് ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞതു: ഈ ജാതിക്കു നീ അനേകസംവത്സരമായി ന്യായാധിപതി ആയിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു അറികകൊണ്ടു എന്റെ കാര്യത്തിൽ ഞാൻ ധൈര്യത്തോടെ പ്രതിവാദം ചെയ്യുന്നു.

English: Because that you may understand, that there are yet but twelve days since I went up to Jerusalem in order to worship.

Malayalam: ഞാൻ യെരൂശലേമിൽ നമസ്കരിപ്പാൻ പോയിട്ടു പന്ത്രണ്ടു നാളിൽ അധികമായില്ല എന്നു നിനക്കു അറിയാകുന്നതാകുന്നു.

English: And they neither found me in the temple disputing with any man, neither raising up the people, neither in the synagogues, nor in the city:

Malayalam: ദൈവാലയത്തിലോ പള്ളികളിലോ നഗരങ്ങളിലോവെച്ചു ആരോടും വാദിക്കയെങ്കിലും പുരുഷാരത്തിൽ കലഹം ഉണ്ടാക്കുകയെങ്കിലും ചെയ്യുന്നാതായി അവർ എന്നെ കണ്ടില്ല.

English: Neither can they prove the things whereof they now accuse me.

Malayalam: ഇന്നു എന്റെ നേരെ ബോധിപ്പിക്കുന്ന അന്യായം നിന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ തെളിയിപ്പാൻ അവർക്കു കഴിയുന്നതുമല്ല.

English: But this I confess unto you, that after the way which they call heresy, so worship I the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the law and in the prophets:

Malayalam: എന്നാൽ ഒന്നു ഞാൻ സമ്മതിക്കുന്നു: മതഭേദം എന്നു ഇവർ പറയുന്ന മാർഗ്ഗപ്രകാരം ഞാൻ പിതാക്കന്മാരുടെ ദൈവത്തെ ആരാധിക്കയും ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തിലും പ്രവാചകപുസ്തകങ്ങളിലും എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നതു ഒക്കെയും വിശ്വസിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.

English: And have hope toward God, which they themselves also allow, that there shall be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and unjust.

Malayalam: നീതിമാന്മാരുടെയും നീതികെട്ടവരുടെയും പുനരുത്ഥാനം ഉണ്ടാകും എന്നു ഇവർ കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ ഞാനും ദൈവത്തിങ്കൽ ആശവെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

English: And herein do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void to offence toward God, and toward men.

Malayalam: അതു കൊണ്ടു എനിക്കു ദൈവത്തോടും മനുഷ്യരോടും കുറ്റമില്ലാത്ത മനസ്സാക്ഷി എല്ലായ്പോഴും ഉണ്ടായിരിപ്പാൻ ഞാൻ ശ്രമിക്കുന്നു.

English: Now after many years I came to bring alms to my nation, and offerings.

Malayalam: പലസംവത്സരം കൂടീട്ടു ഞാൻ എന്റെ ജാതിക്കാർക്കു ധർമ്മം കൊണ്ടുവരുവാനും വഴിപാടു കഴിപ്പാനും വന്നു.

English: Whereupon certain Jews from Asia found me purified in the temple, neither with multitude, nor with tumult.

Malayalam: അതു അനുഷ്ഠിക്കുമ്പോൾ അവർ എന്നെ ദൈവാലയത്തിൽവെച്ചു ശുദ്ധീകരണം കഴിഞ്ഞവനായി കണ്ടു; പുരുഷാരത്തോടു കൂടിയല്ല, കലഹത്തോടുകൂടിയുമല്ല.

English: Who ought to have been here before you, and object, if they had ought against me.

Malayalam: എന്നാൽ ആസ്യക്കാരായ ചില യെഹൂദന്മാർ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; അവർക്കു എന്റെ നേരെ അന്യായം ഉണ്ടെങ്കിൽ നിന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ വന്നു ബോധിപ്പിക്കേണ്ടതായിരുന്നു.

English: Or else let these same here say, if they have found any evil doing in me, while I stood before the council,

Malayalam: അല്ല, ഞാൻ ന്യായാധിപസംഘത്തിന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ നില്ക്കുമ്പോൾ മരിച്ചവരുടെ പുനരുത്ഥാനത്തെക്കുറിച്ചു ഇന്നു നിങ്ങൾ എന്നെ വിസ്തരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു ഞാൻ വിളിച്ചു പറഞ്ഞോരു വാക്കല്ലാതെ

English: Except it be for this one voice, that I cried standing among them, Concerning the resurrection of the dead I am called in question by you this day.

Malayalam: അവിടെ വെച്ചു എന്റെ പക്കൽ വല്ല കുറ്റവും കണ്ടിട്ടുണ്ടങ്കിൽ ഇവർ തന്നേ പറയട്ടെ

English: And when Felix heard these things, having more perfect knowledge of that way, he deferred them, and said, When Lysias the chief captain shall come down, I will know the uttermost of your matter.

Malayalam: ഫേലിക്സിന്നു ഈ മാർഗ്ഗം സംബന്ധിച്ചു സൂക്ഷ്മമായ അറിവു ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നിട്ടും: ലുസിയാസ് സഹസ്രാധിപൻ വരുമ്പോൾ ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ കാര്യം തീർച്ചപ്പെടുത്തും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു അവധിവെച്ചു,

English: And he commanded a centurion to keep Paul, and to let him have liberty, and that he should forbid none of his acquaintance to minister or come unto him.

Malayalam: ശതാധിപനോടു അവനെ തടവിൽ തന്നേ സൂക്ഷിച്ചു ദയകാണിപ്പാനും അവന്റെ സ്നേഹിതന്മാർ അവന്നു ശുശ്രൂഷ ചെയ്യുന്നതു വിരോധിക്കാതിരിപ്പാനും കല്പിച്ചു.

English: And after certain days, when Felix came with his wife Drusilla, which was a Jewess, he sent for Paul, and heard him concerning the faith in Christ.

Malayalam: കുറെനാൾ കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടു ഫേലിക്സ് യെഹൂദ സ്ത്രീയായ തന്റെ ഭാര്യ ദ്രുസില്ലയുമായി വന്നു, പൌലൊസിനെ വരുത്തി ക്രിസ്തുയേശുവിലുള്ള വിശ്വാസത്തെക്കുറിച്ചു അവന്റെ പ്രസംഗം കേട്ടു.

English: And as he reasoned of righteousness, wilful restrain, and judgment to come, Felix trembled, and answered, Go your way for this time; when I have a convenient season, I will call for you.

Malayalam: എന്നാൽ അവൻ നീതി, ഇന്ദ്രീയജയം, വരുവാനുള്ള ന്യായവിധി എന്നിവയെക്കുറിച്ചു സംസാരിക്കുമ്പോൾ ഫേലിക്സ് ഭയപരവശനായി: തൽക്കാലം പോകാം; അവസരം ഉള്ളപ്പോൾ നിന്നെ വിളിപ്പിക്കാം എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

English: He hoped also that money should have been given him of Paul, that he might loose him: wherefore he sent for him the oftener, and communed with him.

Malayalam: പൌലൊസ് തനിക്കു ദ്രവ്യം തരും എന്നു ആശിച്ചു പലപ്പോഴും അവനെ വരുത്തി അവനോടു സംഭാഷിച്ചു പോന്നു.

English: But after two years Porcius Festus came into Felix' room: and Felix, willing to show the Jews a pleasure, left Paul bound.

Malayalam: രണ്ടാണ്ടു കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടു ഫേലിക്സിന്നു പിൻവാഴിയായി പൊർക്ക്യൊസ് ഫെസ്തൊസ് വന്നപ്പോൾ ഫേലിക്സ് യെഹൂദന്മാരുടെ പ്രീതി സമ്പാദിക്കേണം എന്നു വെച്ചു പൌലൊസിനെ തടവുകാരനായി വിട്ടേച്ചുപോയി.
