Acts 21

English: And it came to pass, that after we were got from them, and had launched, we came with a straight course unto Coos, and the day following unto Rhodes, and from thence unto Patara:

Malayalam: അവരെ വിട്ടുപിരിഞ്ഞു നീക്കിയശേഷം ഞങ്ങൾ നേരെ ഓടി കോസിലും പിറ്റെന്നാൾ രൊദൊസിലും അവിടം വിട്ടു പത്തരയിലും എത്തി.

English: And finding a ship sailing over unto Phenicia, we went aboard, and set forth.

Malayalam: ഫൊയ്നീക്ക്യയിലേക്കു പോകുന്ന ഒരു കപ്പൽ കണ്ടിട്ടു ഞങ്ങൾ അതിൽ കയറി ഓടി.

English: Now when we had discovered Cyprus, we left it on the left hand, and sailed into Syria, and landed at Tyre: for there the ship was to unload her burden.

Malayalam: കുപ്രോസ് ദ്വീപു കണ്ടു അതിനെ ഇടത്തുപുറം വിട്ടു സുറിയയിലേക്കു ഓടി സോരിൽ വന്നിറങ്ങി; കപ്പൽ അവിടെ ചരക്കു ഇറക്കുവാനുള്ളതായിരുന്നു; ഞങ്ങൾ ശിഷ്യന്മാരെ കണ്ടെത്തി, ഏഴുനാൾ അവിടെ പാർത്തു.

English: And finding disciples, we tarried there seven days: who said to Paul through the Spirit, that he should not go up to Jerusalem.

Malayalam: അവർ പൌലൊസിനോടു യെരൂശലേമിൽ പോകുരുതു എന്നു ആത്മാവിനാൽ പറഞ്ഞു.

English: And when we had accomplished those days, we departed and went our way; and they all brought us on our way, with wives and children, till we were out of the city: and we kneeled down on the shore, and prayed.

Malayalam: അവിടത്തെ താമസം കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടു ഞങ്ങൾ വിട്ടുപോകുമ്പോൾ അവർ എല്ലാവരും സ്ത്രീകളും കുട്ടികളുമായി

English: And when we had taken our leave one of another, we took ship; and they returned home again.

Malayalam: പട്ടണത്തിന്നു പുറത്തോളം ഞങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ വന്നു കടൽക്കരയിൽ മുട്ടുകുത്തി പ്രാർത്ഥിച്ചു തമ്മിൽ യാത്ര പറഞ്ഞിട്ടു ഞങ്ങൾ കപ്പൽ കയറി; അവർ വീട്ടിലേക്കു മടങ്ങിപ്പോയി.

English: And when we had finished our course from Tyre, we came to Ptolemais, and saluted the brethren, and abode with them one day.

Malayalam: ഞങ്ങൾ സോർ വിട്ടു കപ്പലോട്ടം തികെച്ചു പ്തൊലെമായിസിൽ എത്തി സഹോദരന്മാരെ വന്ദനം ചെയ്തു ഒരു ദിവസം അവരോടുകൂടെ പാർത്തു.

English: And the next day we that were of Paul's company departed, and came unto Caesarea: and we entered into the house of Philip the evangelist, which was one of the seven; and abode with him.

Malayalam: പിറ്റെന്നാൾ ഞങ്ങൾ പുറപ്പെട്ടു കൈസര്യയിൽ എത്തി, ഏഴുവരിൽ ഒരുവനായ ഫിലപ്പൊസ് എന്ന സുവിശേഷകന്റെ വീട്ടിൽ ചെന്നു അവനോടുകൂടെ പാർത്തു.

English: And the same man had four daughters, virgins, which did prophesy.

Malayalam: അവന്നു കന്യകമാരും പ്രവചിക്കുന്നവരുമായ നാലു പുത്രിമാർ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

English: And as we tarried there many days, there came down from Judaea a certain prophet, named Agabus.

Malayalam: ഞങ്ങൾ അവിടെ വളരെ ദിവസം പാർത്തിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ അഗബൊസ് എന്ന ഒരു പ്രവാചകൻ യെഹൂദ്യയിൽ നിന്നു വന്നു.

English: And when he was come unto us, he took Paul's girdle, and bound his own hands and feet, and said, Thus says the Holy Spirit, So shall the Jews at Jerusalem bind the man that owns this girdle, and shall deliver him into the hands of the Gentiles.

Malayalam: അവൻ ഞങ്ങളുടെ അടുക്കൽ വന്നു പൌലൊസിന്റെ അരക്കച്ച എടുത്തു തന്റെ കൈകാലുകളെ കെട്ടി: ഈ അരക്കച്ചയുടെ ഉടമസ്ഥനെ യെഹൂദന്മാർ യെരൂശലേമിൽ ഇങ്ങനെ കെട്ടി ജാതികളുടെ കയ്യിൽ ഏല്പിക്കും എന്നു പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവു പറയുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

English: And when we heard these things, both we, and they of that place, besought him not to go up to Jerusalem.

Malayalam: ഇതു കേട്ടാറെ യെരൂശലേമിൽ പോകരുതു എന്നു ഞങ്ങളും അവിടത്തുകാരും അവനോടു അപേക്ഷിച്ചു.

English: Then Paul answered, What mean all of you to weep and to break mine heart? for I am ready not to be bound only, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.

Malayalam: അതിന്നു പൌലൊസ്: നിങ്ങൾ കരഞ്ഞു എന്റെ ഹൃദയം ഇങ്ങനെ തകർക്കുന്നതു എന്തു? കർത്താവായ യേശുവിന്റെ നാമത്തിന്നു വേണ്ടി ബന്ധിക്കപ്പെടുവാൻ മാത്രമല്ല യെരൂശലേമിൽ മരിപ്പാനും ഞാൻ ഒരുങ്ങിയിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

English: And when he would not be persuaded, we ceased, saying, The will of the Lord be done.

Malayalam: അവനെ സമ്മതിപ്പിച്ചുകൂടായ്കയാൽ: കർത്താവിന്റെ ഇഷ്ടം നടക്കട്ടെ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു ഞങ്ങൾ മിണ്ടാതിരുന്നു.

English: And after those days we took up our carriages, and went up to Jerusalem.

Malayalam: അവിടത്തെ താമസം കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടു ഞങ്ങൾ യാത്രെക്കു കോപ്പുകൂട്ടി യെരൂശലേമിലേക്കു പോയി.

English: There went with us also certain of the disciples of Caesarea, and brought with them one Mnason of Cyprus, an old disciple, with whom we should lodge.

Malayalam: കൈസര്യയിലെ ശിഷ്യന്മാരിൽ ചിലരും ഞങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ പോന്നു, കുപ്രൊസ്കാരനായ മ്നാസോൻ എന്ന ഒരു പഴയശിഷ്യനോടുകൂടെ അതിഥികളായ്പാർക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞങ്ങളെ അവന്റെ അടുക്കൽ കൂട്ടിക്കൊണ്ടുപോയി.

English: And when we were come to Jerusalem, the brethren received us gladly.

Malayalam: യെരൂശലേമിൽ എത്തിപ്പോൾ സഹോദരന്മാർ ഞങ്ങളെ സന്തോഷത്തോട കൈക്കൊണ്ടു.

English: And the day following Paul went in with us unto James; and all the elders were present.

Malayalam: പിറ്റെന്നു പൌലെസും ഞങ്ങളും യാക്കോബിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ പോയി; മൂപ്പന്മാരും എല്ലാം അവിടെ വന്നു കൂടി.

English: And when he had saluted them, he declared particularly what things God had wrought among the Gentiles by his ministry.

Malayalam: അവൻ അവരെ വന്ദനം ചെയ്തു തന്റെ ശുശ്രൂഷയാൽ ദൈവം ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയിൽ ചെയ്യിച്ചതു ഓരോന്നായി വിവരിച്ചു പറഞ്ഞു.

English: And when they heard it, they glorified the Lord, and said unto him, You see, brother, how many thousands of Jews there are which believe; and they are all zealous of the law:

Malayalam: അവർ കേട്ടു ദൈവത്തെ മഹത്വപ്പെടുത്തി. പിന്നെ അവനോടു പറഞ്ഞതു: സഹോദരാ, യെഹൂദന്മാരുടെ ഇടയിൽ വിശ്വസിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നവർ എത്ര ആയിരം ഉണ്ടു എന്നു നീ കാണുന്നുവല്ലോ; അവർ എല്ലാവരും ന്യായപ്രമാണതല്പരന്മാർ ആകുന്നു.

English: And they are informed of you, that you teach all the Jews which are among the Gentiles to forsake Moses, saying that they ought not to circumcise their children, neither to walk after the customs.

Malayalam: മക്കളെ പരിച്ഛേദന ചെയ്യരുതു എന്നും നമ്മുടെ മര്യാദ അനുസരിച്ചു നടക്കരുതു എന്നും നീ ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയിലുള്ള സകല യെഹൂദന്മാരോടും പറഞ്ഞു മോശെയെ ഉപേക്ഷിച്ചുകളവാൻ ഉപദേശിക്കുന്നു എന്നു അവർ നിന്നെക്കുറിച്ചു ധരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

English: What is it therefore? the multitude must essentially come together: for they will hear that you are come.

Malayalam: ആകയാൽ എന്താകുന്നു വേണ്ടതു? നീ വന്നിട്ടുണ്ടു എന്നു അവർ കേൾക്കും നിശ്ചയം.

English: Do therefore this that we say to you: We have four men which have a vow on them;

Malayalam: ഞങ്ങൾ നിന്നോടു ഈ പറയുന്നതു ചെയ്ക; നേർച്ചയുള്ള നാലു പുരുഷന്മാർ ഞങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയിൽ ഉണ്ടു.

English: Them take, and purify yourself with them, and be at charges with them, that they may shave their heads: and all may know that those things, whereof they were informed concerning you, are nothing; but that you yourself also walk orderly, and keep the law.

Malayalam: അവരെ കൂട്ടിക്കൊണ്ടു അവരോടുകൂടെ നിന്നെ ശുദ്ധിവരുത്തി അവരുടെ തല ക്ഷൌരം ചെയ്യേണ്ടതിന്നു അവർക്കു വേണ്ടി ചെലവു ചെയ്ക; എന്നാൽ നിന്നെക്കൊണ്ടു കേട്ടതു ഉള്ളതല്ല എന്നും നീയും ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തെ ആചരിച്ചു ക്രമമായി നടക്കുന്നവൻ എന്നും എല്ലാവരും അറിയും.

English: As concerning the Gentiles which believe, we have written and concluded that they observe no such thing, save only that they keep themselves from things offered to idols, and from blood, and from strangled, and from fornication.

Malayalam: വിശ്വസിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന ജാതികളെ സംബന്ധിച്ചോ അവർ വിഗ്രഹാർപ്പിതവും രക്തവും ശ്വാസംമുട്ടിച്ചത്തതും പരസംഗവും മാത്രം ഒഴിഞ്ഞിരിക്കേണം എന്നു വിധിച്ചു എഴുതി അയച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടല്ലോ.

English: Then Paul took the men, and the next day purifying himself with them entered into the temple, to signify the accomplishment of the days of purification, until that an offering should be offered for every one of them.

Malayalam: അങ്ങനെ പൌലൊസ് ആ പുരുഷന്മാരെ കൂട്ടിക്കൊണ്ടു പിറ്റെന്നാൾ അവരോടുകൂടെ തന്നെ ശുദ്ധിവരുത്തി ദൈവാലയത്തിൽ ചെന്നു; അവരിൽ ഓരോരുത്തന്നുവേണ്ടി വഴിപാടു കഴിപ്പാനുള്ള ശുദ്ധീകരണകാലം തികഞ്ഞു എന്നു ബോധിപ്പിച്ചു.

English: And when the seven days were almost ended, the Jews which were of Asia, when they saw him in the temple, stirred up all the people, and laid hands on him,

Malayalam: ആ ഏഴു ദിവസം തീരാറായപ്പോൾ ആസ്യയിൽ നിന്നു വന്ന യെഹൂദന്മാർ അവനെ ദൈവാലയത്തിൽ കണ്ടിട്ടു പുരുഷാരത്തെ ഒക്കെയും ഇളക്കി അവനെ പിടിച്ചു;

English: Crying out, Men of Israel, help: This is the man, that teaches all men every where against the people, and the law, and this place: and further brought Greeks also into the temple, and has polluted this holy place.

Malayalam: യിസ്രായേൽപുരുഷന്മാരേ, സഹായിപ്പിൻ ഇവൻ ആകുന്നു ജനത്തിന്നും ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തിന്നും ഈ സ്ഥലത്തിന്നും വിരോധമായി എല്ലായിടത്തും എല്ലാവരെയും ഉപദേശിക്കുന്നവൻ; അവൻ യവനന്മാരെയും ദൈവാലയത്തിൽ കൂട്ടിക്കൊണ്ടുവന്നു ഈ വിശുദ്ധ സ്ഥലം തീണ്ടിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു എന്നു വിളിച്ചുകൂകി.

English: (For they had seen before with him in the city Trophimus an Ephesian, whom they supposed that Paul had brought into the temple.)

Malayalam: അവർ മുമ്പെ എഫെസ്യനായ ത്രോഫിമോസിനെ അവനോടുകൂടെ നഗരത്തിൽ കണ്ടതിനാൽ പൌലൊസ് അവനെ ദൈവാലത്തിൽ കൂട്ടിക്കൊണ്ടുവന്നു എന്നു നിരൂപിച്ചു.

English: And all the city was moved, and the people ran together: and they took Paul, and drew him out of the temple: and forthwith the doors were shut.

Malayalam: നഗരം എല്ലാം ഇളകി ജനം ഓടിക്കൂടി പൌലൊസിനെ പിടിച്ചു ദൈവാലയത്തിന്നു പുറത്തേക്കു ഇഴെച്ചു കൊണ്ടുപോയി; ഉടനെ വാതിലുകൾ അടെച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു.

English: And as they went about to kill him, tidings came unto the chief captain of the band, that all Jerusalem was in an uproar.

Malayalam: അവർ അവനെ കൊല്ലുവാൻ ശ്രമിക്കുമ്പോൾ യെരൂശലേം ഒക്കെയും കലക്കത്തിൽ ആയി എന്നു പട്ടാളത്തിന്റെ സഹസ്രാധിപന്നു വർത്തമാനം എത്തി.

English: Who immediately took soldiers and centurions, and ran down unto them: and when they saw the chief captain and the soldiers, they left beating of Paul.

Malayalam: അവൻ ക്ഷണത്തിൽ പടയാളികളെയും ശതാധിപന്മാരെയും കൂട്ടിക്കൊണ്ടു അവരുടെ നേരെ പാഞ്ഞുവന്നു; അവർ സഹസ്രാധിപനെയും പടയാളികളെയും കണ്ടപ്പോൾ പൌലൊസിനെ അടിക്കുന്നതു നിറുത്തി.

English: Then the chief captain came near, and took him, and commanded him to be bound with two chains; and demanded who he was, and what he had done.

Malayalam: സഹസ്രാധിപൻ അടത്തുവന്നു അവനെ പിടിച്ചു രണ്ടു ചങ്ങലവെപ്പാൻ കല്പിച്ചു; ആർ എന്നും എന്തു ചെയ്തു എന്നും ചോദിച്ചു.

English: And some cried one thing, some another, among the multitude: and when he could not know the certainty for the tumult, he commanded him to be carried into the castle.

Malayalam: പുരുഷാരത്തിൽ ചിലർ ഇങ്ങനെയും ചിലർ അങ്ങനെയും നിലവിളിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നു; ആരവാരം ഹേതുവായി നിശ്ചയം ഒന്നും അറിഞ്ഞുകൂടായ്കയാൽ അവനെ കോട്ടയിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുപോകുവാൻ കല്പിച്ചു.

English: And when he came upon the stairs, so it was, that he was borne of the soldiers for the violence of the people.

Malayalam: പടിക്കെട്ടിന്മേൽആയപ്പോൾ: അവനെ കൊന്നുകളക എന്നു ആർത്തുകൊണ്ടു ജനസമൂഹം പിൻചെല്ലുകയാൽ

English: For the multitude of the people followed after, crying, Away with him.

Malayalam: പുരുഷാരത്തിന്റെ ബലാൽക്കാരം പേടിച്ചിട്ടു പടയാളികൾ അവനെ എടുക്കേണ്ടിവന്നു.

English: And as Paul was to be led into the castle, he said unto the chief captain, May I speak unto you? Who said, Can you speak Greek?

Malayalam: കോട്ടയിൽ കടക്കുമാറായപ്പോൾ പൌലൊസ് സഹസ്രാധിപനോടു: എനിക്കു നിന്നോടു ഒരു വാക്കു പറയാമോ എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു. അതിന്നു അവൻ: നിനക്കു യവനഭാഷ അറിയാമോ?

English: Are not you that Egyptian, which before these days made an uproar, and led out into the wilderness four thousand men that were murderers?

Malayalam: കുറെ നാൾ മുമ്പെ കലഹം ഉണ്ടാക്കി നാലായിരം കട്ടാരക്കാരെ മരുഭൂമിയിലേക്കു കൂട്ടിക്കൊണ്ടുപോയ മിസ്രയീമ്യൻ നീ അല്ലയോ എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.

English: But Paul said, I am a man which am a Jew of Tarsus, a city in Cilicia, a citizen of no mean city: and, I plead to you, suffer me to speak unto the people.

Malayalam: അതിന്നു പൌലൊസ്: ഞാൻ കിലിക്യയിൽ തർസൊസ് എന്ന പ്രസിദ്ധനഗരത്തിലെ പൌരനായോരു യെഹൂദൻ ആകുന്നു. ജനത്തോടു സംസാരിപ്പാൻ അനുവദിക്കേണം എന്നു അപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

English: And when he had given him licence, Paul stood on the stairs, and beckoned with the hand unto the people. And when there was made a great silence, he spoke unto them in the Hebrew tongue, saying,

Malayalam: അവൻ അനുവദിച്ചപ്പോൾ പൌലൊസ് പടിക്കെട്ടിന്മേൽ നിന്നുകൊണ്ടു ജനത്തോടു ആംഗ്യം കാട്ടി, വളരെ മൌനമായ ശേഷം എബ്രായഭാഷയിൽ വിളിച്ചുപറഞ്ഞതാവിതു:
