English: And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.

Malayalam: പെന്തെക്കൊസ്തനാൾ വന്നപ്പോൾ എല്ലാവരും ഒരു സ്ഥലത്തു ഒന്നിച്ചു കൂടിയിരുന്നു.

English: And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.

Malayalam: പെട്ടെന്നു കൊടിയ കാറ്റടിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ ആകാശത്തനിന്നു ഒരു മുഴക്കം ഉണ്ടായി, അവർ ഇരുന്നിരുന്ന വീടു മുഴുവനും നിറെച്ചു.

English: And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like of fire, and it sat upon each of them.

Malayalam: അഗ്നിജ്വാലപോലെ പിളർന്നിരിക്കുന്ന നാവുകൾ അവർക്കു പ്രത്യക്ഷമായി അവരിൽ ഓരോരുത്തന്റെ മേൽ പതിഞ്ഞു.

English: And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

Malayalam: എല്ലാവരും പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവു നിറഞ്ഞവരായി ആത്മാവു അവർക്കു ഉച്ചരിപ്പാൻ നല്കിയതുപോലെ അന്യഭാഷകളിൽ സംസാരിച്ചു തുടങ്ങി.

English: And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven.

Malayalam: അന്നു ആകാശത്തിൻ കീഴുള്ള സകല ജാതികളിൽ നിന്നും യെരൂശലേമിൽ വന്നു പാർക്കുന്ന യെഹൂദന്മാരായ ഭക്തിയുള്ള പുരുഷന്മാർ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

English: Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language.

Malayalam: ഈ മുഴക്കം ഉണ്ടായപ്പോൾ പുരുഷാരം വന്നു കൂടി, ഓരോരുത്തൻ താന്താന്റെ ഭാഷയിൽ അവർ സംസാരിക്കുന്നതു കേട്ടു അമ്പരന്നു പോയി.

English: And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans?

Malayalam: എല്ലാവരും ഭ്രമിച്ചു ആശ്ചര്യപ്പെട്ടു: ഈ സംസാരിക്കുന്നവർ എല്ലാം ഗലീലക്കാർ അല്ലയോ?

English: And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born?

Malayalam: പിന്നെ നാം ഓരോരുത്തൻ ജനിച്ച നമ്മുടെ സ്വന്ത ഭാഷയിൽ അവർ സംസാരിച്ചു കേൾക്കുന്നതു എങ്ങനെ?

English: Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judaea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia,

Malayalam: പർത്ഥരും മേദ്യരും ഏലാമ്യരും മെസപ്പൊത്താമ്യയിലും യെഹൂദ്യയിലും കപ്പദോക്യയിലും

English: Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Egypt, and in the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Jews and proselytes,

Malayalam: പൊന്തൊസിലും ആസ്യയിലും പ്രുഗ്യയിലും പംഫുല്യയിലും മിസ്രയീമിലും കുറേനെക്കു ചേർന്ന ലിബ്യാപ്രദേശങ്ങളിലും പാർക്കുന്നവരും റോമയിൽ നിന്നു വന്നു പാർക്കുന്നവരും യെഹൂദന്മാരും യെഹൂദമതാനുസാരികളും ക്രേത്യരും അറബിക്കാരുമായ നാം

English: Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God.

Malayalam: ഈ നമ്മുടെ ഭാഷകളിൽ അവർ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ വൻകാര്യങ്ങളെ പ്രസ്താവിക്കുന്നതു കേൾക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

English: And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying one to another, What means this?

Malayalam: എല്ലാവരും ഭ്രമിച്ചു ചഞ്ചലിച്ചു; ഇതു എന്തായിരിക്കും എന്നു തമ്മിൽ തമ്മിൽ പറഞ്ഞു.

English: Others mocking said, These men are full of new wine.

Malayalam: ഇവർ പുതു വീഞ്ഞു കുടിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു മറ്റു ചിലർ പരിഹസിച്ചു പറഞ്ഞു.

English: But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, All of you men of Judaea, and all you that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words:

Malayalam: അപ്പോൾ പത്രൊസ് പതിനൊന്നുപേരോടുകൂടെ നിന്നുകൊണ്ടു ഉറക്കെ അവരോടു പറഞ്ഞതു: യെഹൂദാപുരുഷന്മാരും യെരൂശലേമിൽ പാർക്കുന്ന എല്ലാവരുമായുള്ളോരേ, ഇതു നിങ്ങൾ അറിഞ്ഞിരിക്കട്ടെ; എന്റെ വാക്കു ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചുകൊൾവിൻ.

English: For these are not drunken, as all of you suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day.

Malayalam: നിങ്ങൾ ഊഹിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ ഇവർ ലഹരി പിടിച്ചവരല്ല; പകൽ മൂന്നാംമണിനേരമേ ആയിട്ടുള്ളുവല്ലോ.

English: But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;

Malayalam: ഇതു യോവേൽ പ്രവാചകൻ മുഖാന്തരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതത്രേ; അതെന്തെന്നാൽ:

English: And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:

Malayalam: “അന്ത്യകാലത്തു ഞാൻ സകല ജഡത്തിന്മേലും എന്റെ ആത്മാവിനെ പകരും; നിങ്ങളുടെ പുത്രന്മാരും പുത്രിമാരും പ്രവചിക്കും; നിങ്ങളുടെ യൌവ്വനക്കാർ ദർശനങ്ങൾ ദർശിക്കും; നിങ്ങളുടെ വൃദ്ധന്മാർ സ്വപ്നങ്ങൾ കാണും.”

English: And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:

Malayalam: എന്റെ ദാസന്മാരുടെമേലും ദാസിമാരുടെമേലും കൂടെ ഞാൻ ആ നാളുകളിൽ എന്റെ ആത്മാവിനെ പകരും; അവരും പ്രവചിക്കും.

English: And I will show wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:

Malayalam: ഞാൻ മീതെ ആകാശത്തിൽ അത്ഭുതങ്ങളും താഴെ ഭൂമിയിൽ അടയാളങ്ങളും കാണിക്കും; രക്തവും തീയും പുകയാവിയും തന്നേ.

English: The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and notable day of the Lord come:

Malayalam: കർത്താവിന്റെ വലുതും പ്രസിദ്ധവുമായ നാൾ വരുംമുമ്പേ സൂര്യൻ ഇരുളായും ചന്ദ്രൻ രക്തമായും മാറിപ്പോകും.

English: And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Malayalam: എന്നാൽ കർത്താവിന്റെ നാമം വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നവൻ ഏവനും രക്ഷിക്കപ്പെടും എന്നു ദൈവം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.”

English: All of you men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as all of you yourselves also know:

Malayalam: യിസ്രായേൽ പുരുഷന്മാരേ, ഈ വചനം കേട്ടു കൊൾവിൻ. നിങ്ങൾ തന്നേ അറിയുംപോലെ ദൈവം അവനെക്കൊണ്ടു നിങ്ങളുടെ നടുവിൽ ചെയ്യിച്ച ശക്തികളും അത്ഭുതങ്ങളും അടയാളങ്ങളും കൊണ്ടു

English: Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, all of you have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:

Malayalam: ദൈവം നിങ്ങൾക്കു കാണിച്ചു തന്ന പുരുഷനായി നസറായനായ യേശുവിനെ ദൈവം തന്റെ സ്ഥിര നിർണ്ണയത്താലും മുന്നറിവിനാലും ഏല്പിച്ചിട്ടു, നിങ്ങൾ അവനെ അധർമ്മികളുടെ കയ്യാൽ തറെപ്പിച്ചു കൊന്നു;

English: Whom God has raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be held of it.

Malayalam: ദൈവമോ മരണപാശങ്ങളെ അഴിച്ചിട്ടു അവനെ ഉയിർത്തെഴുന്നേല്പിച്ചു. മരണം അവനെ പിടിച്ചു വെക്കുന്നതു അസാദ്ധ്യമായിരുന്നു.

English: For David speaks concerning him, I foresaw the Lord always before my face, for he is on my right hand, that I should not be moved:

Malayalam: “ഞാൻ കർത്താവിനെ എപ്പോഴും എന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ കണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; അവൻ എന്റെ വലഭാഗത്തു ഇരിക്കയാൽ ഞാൻ കുലുങ്ങിപോകയില്ല.

English: Therefore did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad; moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope:

Malayalam: അതുകൊണ്ട് എന്റെ ഹൃദയം സന്തോഷിച്ചു, എന്റെ നാവു ആനന്ദിച്ചു, എന്റെ ജഡവും പ്രത്യാശയോടെ വസിക്കും.”

English: Because you will not leave my soul in hell, neither will you suffer yours Holy One to see corruption.

Malayalam: നീ എന്റെ പ്രാണനെ പാതാളത്തിൽ വിടുകയില്ല; നിന്റെ പരിശുദ്ധനെ ദ്രവത്വം കാണ്മാൻ സമ്മതിക്കയുമില്ല.

English: You have made known to me the ways of life; you shall make me full of joy with your countenance.

Malayalam: നീ ജീവമാർഗ്ഗങ്ങളെ എന്നോടു അറിയിച്ചു; നിന്റെ സന്നിധിയിൽ എന്നെ സന്തോഷ പൂർണ്ണനാക്കും” എന്നു ദാവീദ് അവനെക്കുറിച്ചു പറയുന്നുവല്ലോ.

English: Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his tomb is with us unto this day.

Malayalam: സഹോദരന്മാരായ പുരുഷന്മാരേ, ഗോത്രപിതാവായ ദാവീദിനെക്കുറിച്ച് അവൻ മരിച്ചു അടക്കപ്പെട്ടു എന്നു എനിക്കു നിങ്ങളോടു ധൈര്യമായി പറയാം; അവന്റെ കല്ലറ ഇന്നുവരെ നമ്മുടെ ഇടയിൽ ഉണ്ടല്ലോ.

English: Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne;

Malayalam: എന്നാൽ അവൻ പ്രവാചകൻ ആകയാൽ ദൈവം അവന്റെ കടിപ്രദേശത്തിന്റെ ഫലത്തിൽ നിന്നു ഒരുത്തനെ അവന്റെ സിംഹാസനത്തിൽ ഇരുത്തും എന്നു തന്നോടു സത്യം ചെയ്തു ഉറപ്പിച്ചു എന്നു അറഞ്ഞിട്ടു:

English: He seeing this before spoke of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.

Malayalam: അവനെ പാതാളത്തിൽ വിട്ടുകളഞ്ഞില്ല: അവന്റെ ജഡം ദ്രവത്വം കണ്ടതുമില്ല എന്നു ക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ പുനരുത്ഥാനം മുമ്പുകൂട്ടി കണ്ടു പ്രസ്താവിച്ചു. ഈ യേശുവിനെ ദൈവം ഉയിർത്തെഴുന്നേല്പിച്ചു:

English: This Jesus has God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses.

Malayalam: അതിന്നു ഞങ്ങൾ എല്ലാവരും സാക്ഷികൾ ആകുന്നു.

English: Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, he has shed forth this, which all of you now see and hear.

Malayalam: അവൻ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ വല ഭാഗത്തേക്കു ആരോഹണം ചെയ്തു പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവു എന്ന വാഗ്ദത്തം പിതാവിനോടു വാങ്ങി, നിങ്ങൾ ഈ കാണുകയും കേൾക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നത് പകർന്നുതന്നു,

English: For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he says himself, The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit you on my right hand,

Malayalam: ദാവീദ് സ്വർഗ്ഗാരോഹണം ചെയ്തില്ലല്ലോ. എന്നാൽ അവൻ:

English: Until I make your foes your footstool.

Malayalam: “ഞാൻ നിന്റെ ശത്രുക്കളെ നിന്റെ പാദപീഠം ആക്കുവോളം നീ എന്റെ വലത്തുഭാഗത്തു ഇരിക്ക എന്നു കർത്താവു എന്റെ കർത്താവിനോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു” എന്നു പറയുന്നു.

English: Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God has made the same Jesus, whom all of you have crucified, both Lord and Christ.

Malayalam: ആകയാൽ നിങ്ങൾ ക്രൂശിച്ച ഈ യേശുവിനെ തന്നേ ദൈവം കർത്താവും ക്രിസ്തുവുമാക്കിവെച്ചു എന്നു യിസ്രായേൽ ഗൃഹം ഒക്കെയും നിശ്ചയമായി അറിഞ്ഞുകൊള്ളട്ടെ.

English: Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?

Malayalam: ഇതു കേട്ടിട്ടു അവർ ഹൃദയത്തിൽ കുത്തുകൊണ്ടു പത്രൊസിനോടും ശേഷം അപ്പൊസ്തലന്മാരോടും: സഹോദരന്മാരായ പുരുഷന്മാരേ, ഞങ്ങൾ എന്തു ചെയ്യേണ്ടു എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.

English: Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and all of you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Malayalam: പത്രൊസ് അവരോടു: നിങ്ങൾ മാനസാന്തരപ്പെട്ടു നിങ്ങളുടെ പാപങ്ങളുടെ മോചനത്തിന്നായി ഓരോരുത്തൻ യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ നാമത്തിൽ സ്നാനം ഏല്പിൻ; എന്നാൽ പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവു എന്ന ദാനം ലഭിക്കും.

English: For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are far off, even as many as the LORD our God shall call.

Malayalam: വാഗ്ദത്തം നിങ്ങൾക്കും നിങ്ങളുടെ മക്കൾക്കും നമ്മുടെ ദൈവമായ കർത്താവു വിളിച്ചു വരുത്തുന്ന ദൂരസ്ഥന്മാരായ ഏവർക്കും ഉള്ളതല്ലോ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

English: And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.

Malayalam: മറ്റു പല വാക്കുകളാലും അവൻ സാക്ഷ്യം പറഞ്ഞു അവരെ പ്രബോധിപ്പിച്ചു; ഈ വക്രതയുള്ള തലമുറയിൽനിന്നു രക്ഷിക്കപ്പെടുവിൻ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

English: Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.

Malayalam: അവന്റെ വാക്കു കൈക്കൊണ്ടവർ സ്നാനം ഏറ്റു; അന്നു മുവായിരത്തോളം പേർ അവരോടു ചേർന്നു.

English: And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.

Malayalam: അവർ അപ്പൊസ്തലന്മാരുടെ ഉപദേശം കേട്ടും കൂട്ടായ്മ ആചരിച്ചും അപ്പം നുറക്കിയും പ്രാർത്ഥന കഴിച്ചും പോന്നു.

English: And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles.

Malayalam: എല്ലാവർക്കും ഭയമായി; അപ്പൊസ്തലന്മാരാൽ ഏറിയ അത്ഭുതങ്ങളും അടയാളങ്ങളും നടന്നു.

English: And all that believed were together, and had all things common;

Malayalam: വിശ്വസിച്ചവർ എല്ലാവരും ഒരുമിച്ചിരുന്നു

English: And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need.

Malayalam: സകലവും പൊതുവക എന്നു എണ്ണുകയും ജന്മഭൂമികളും വസ്തുക്കളും വിറ്റു അവനവന്നു ആവശ്യം ഉള്ളതുപോലെ എല്ലാവർക്കും പങ്കിടുകയും,

English: And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their food with gladness and singleness of heart,

Malayalam: ഒരുമനപ്പെട്ടു ദിനംപ്രതി ദൈവാലയത്തിൽ കൂടിവരികയും വീട്ടിൽ അപ്പം നുറുക്കിക്കൊണ്ടു ഉല്ലാസവും ഹൃദയപരമാർത്ഥതയും പൂണ്ടു ഭക്ഷണം കഴിക്കയും

English: Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

Malayalam: ദൈവത്തെ സ്തുതിക്കയും സകല ജനത്തിന്റെയും കൃപ അനുഭവിക്കയും ചെയ്തു. കർത്താവു രക്ഷിക്കപ്പെടുന്നവരെ ദിനംപ്രതി സഭയോടു ചേർത്തുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നു.
