Acts 18

English: After these things Paul departed from Athens, and came to Corinth;

Malayalam: അനന്തരം അവൻ അഥേന വിട്ടു കൊരിന്തിൽ ചെന്നു.

English: And found a certain Jew named Aquila, born in Pontus, lately come from Italy, with his wife Priscilla; (because that Claudius had commanded all Jews to depart from Rome:) and came unto them.

Malayalam: യെഹൂദന്മാർ എല്ലാവരും റോമനഗരം വിട്ടു പോകണം എന്നു ക്ളൌദ്യൊസ് കല്പിച്ചതുകൊണ്ടു ഇത്തല്യയിൽ നിന്നു ആ ഇടെക്കു വന്നവനായി പൊന്തൊസ്കാരൻ അക്വിലാസ് എന്നു പേരുള്ളോരു യെഹൂദനെയും അവന്റെ ഭാര്യ പ്രിസ്കില്ലയെയും കണ്ടു അവരുടെ അടുക്കൽ ചെന്നു.

English: And because he was of the same craft, he abode with them, and wrought: for by their occupation they were tentmakers.

Malayalam: തൊഴിൽ ഒന്നാകകൊണ്ടു അവൻ അവരോടുകൂടെ പാർത്തു വേല ചെയ്തുപോന്നു; തൊഴിലോ കൂടാരപ്പണിയായിരുന്നു.

English: And he reasoned in the synagogue every sabbath, and persuaded the Jews and the Greeks.

Malayalam: എന്നാൽ ശബ്ബത്ത്തോറും അവൻ പള്ളിയിൽ സംവാദിച്ചു യെഹൂദന്മാരെയും യവനന്മാരെയും സമ്മതിപ്പിച്ചു.

English: And when Silas and Timotheus were come from Macedonia, Paul was pressed in the spirit, and testified to the Jews that Jesus was Christ.

Malayalam: ശീലാസും തിമൊഥെയൊസും മക്കെദോന്യയിൽ നിന്നു വന്നാറെ പൌലൊസ് വചനഘോഷണത്തിൽ ശുഷ്കാന്തിപൂണ്ടു യേശു തന്നേ ക്രിസ്തു എന്നു യെഹൂദന്മാർക്കു സാക്ഷീകരിച്ചു.

English: And when they opposed themselves, and blasphemed, he shook his raiment, and said unto them, Your blood be upon your own heads; I am clean; from henceforth I will go unto the Gentiles.

Malayalam: അവർ എതിർ പറയുകയും ദുഷിക്കയും ചെയ്കയാൽ അവൻ വസ്ത്രം കുടഞ്ഞു: നിങ്ങളുടെ നാശത്തിന്നു നിങ്ങൾ തന്നേ ഉത്തരവാദികൾ; ഞാൻ നിർമ്മലൻ: ഇനിമേൽ ഞാൻ ജാതികളുടെ അടുക്കൽ പോകും എന്നു അവരോടു പറഞ്ഞു.

English: And he departed thence, and entered into a certain man's house, named Justus, one that worshipped God, whose house joined hard to the synagogue.

Malayalam: അവൻ അവിടം വിട്ടു തീത്തൊസ് യുസ്തൊസ് എന്ന ഒരു ദൈവഭക്തന്റെ വീട്ടിൽ ചെന്നു; അവന്റെ വീടു പള്ളിയോടു തൊട്ടിരുന്നു.

English: And Crispus, the chief ruler of the synagogue, believed on the Lord with all his house; and many of the Corinthians hearing believed, and were baptized.

Malayalam: പള്ളി പ്രമാണിയായ ക്രിസ്പൊസ് തന്റെ സകല കുടുംബത്തോടുംകൂടെ കർത്താവിൽ വിശ്വസിച്ചു; കൊരിന്ത്യരിൽ അനേകർ വചനം കേട്ടു വിശ്വസിച്ചു സ്നാനം ഏറ്റു.

English: Then spoke the Lord to Paul in the night by a vision, Be not afraid, but speak, and hold not your peace:

Malayalam: രാത്രിയിൽ കർത്താവു ദർശനത്തിൽ പൌലൊസിനോടു: നീ ഭയപ്പെടാതെ പ്രസംഗിക്ക; മിണ്ടാതിരിക്കരുതു;

English: For I am with you, and no man shall set on you to hurt you: for I have much people in this city.

Malayalam: ഞാൻ നിന്നോടുകൂടെ ഉണ്ടു; ആരും നിന്നെ കയ്യേറ്റം ചെയ്തു ദോഷപ്പെടുത്തുകയില്ല; ഈ പട്ടണത്തിൽ എനിക്കു വളരെ ജനം ഉണ്ടു എന്നു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു.

English: And he continued there a year and six months, teaching the word of God among them.

Malayalam: അങ്ങനെ അവൻ ഒരാണ്ടും ആറുമാസവും അവരുടെ ഇടയിൽ ദൈവവചനം ഉപദേശിച്ചുകൊണ്ടു താമസിച്ചു.

English: And when Gallio was the deputy of Achaia, the Jews made insurrection with one accord against Paul, and brought him to the judgment seat,

Malayalam: ഗല്ലിയോൻ അഖായയിൽ ദേശഅധിപതിയായി വാഴുമ്പോൾ യെഹൂദന്മാർ പൌലൊസിന്റെ നേരെ ഒരുമനപ്പെട്ടു എഴുന്നേറ്റു, അവനെ ന്യായാസനത്തിന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ കൊണ്ടു ചെന്നു:

English: Saying, This fellow persuades men to worship God contrary to the law.

Malayalam: ഇവൻ ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തിന്നു വിരോധമായി ദൈവത്തെ ഭജിപ്പാൻ മനുഷ്യരെ സമ്മതിപ്പിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

English: And when Paul was now about to open his mouth, Gallio said unto the Jews, If it were a matter of wrong or wicked lewdness, O all of you Jews, reason would that I should bear with you:

Malayalam: പൌലൊസ് വായ്തുറപ്പാൻ ഭാവിക്കുമ്പോൾ ഗല്ലിയോൻ യെഹൂദന്മാരോടു: യെഹൂദന്മാരേ, വല്ല അന്യായമോ വല്ലാത്ത പാതകമോ ആയിരുന്നെങ്കിൽ ഞാൻ ക്ഷമയോടെ നിങ്ങളുടെ സങ്കടം കേൾക്കുമായിരുന്നു.

English: But if it be a question of words and names, and of your law, look all of you to it; for I will be no judge of such matters.

Malayalam: വചനത്തെയും നാമങ്ങളെയും നിങ്ങളുടെ ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തെയും സംബന്ധിച്ചുള്ള തർക്കസംഗതികൾ എങ്കിലോ നിങ്ങൾ തന്നേ നോക്കിക്കൊൾവിൻ; ഈ വകെക്കു ന്യായാധിപതി ആകുവാൻ എനിക്കു മനസ്സില്ല എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു

English: And he drove them from the judgment seat.

Malayalam: അവരെ ന്യായാസനത്തിങ്കൽനിന്നു പുറത്താക്കി.

English: Then all the Greeks took Sosthenes, the chief ruler of the synagogue, and beat him before the judgment seat. And Gallio cared for none of those things.

Malayalam: എല്ലാവരും പള്ളിപ്രമാണിയായ സോസ്ഥനേസിനെ പിടിച്ചു ന്യായാസനത്തിന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ വെച്ചു അടിച്ചു; ഇതു ഒന്നും ഗല്ലിയോൻ കൂട്ടാക്കിയില്ല.

English: And Paul after this tarried there yet a good while, and then took his leave of the brethren, and sailed thence into Syria, and with him Priscilla and Aquila; having shorn his head in Cenchrea: for he had a vow.

Malayalam: പൌലൊസ് പിന്നെയും കുറെനാൾ പാർത്തശേഷം സഹോദരന്മാരോടു യാത്ര പറഞ്ഞിട്ടു, തനിക്കു ഒരു നേർച്ച ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നതിനാൽ കെംക്രയയിൽ വെച്ചു തല ക്ഷൌരം ചെയ്യിച്ചിട്ടു പ്രിസ്കില്ലയോടും അക്വിലാസിനോടും കൂടെ കപ്പൽ കയറി സുറിയയിലേക്കു പുറപ്പെട്ടു

English: And he came to Ephesus, and left them there: but he himself entered into the synagogue, and reasoned with the Jews.

Malayalam: എഫെസോസിൽ എത്തി അവരെ അവിടെ വിട്ടു, അവൻ പള്ളിയിൽ ചെന്നു യെഹൂദന്മാരോടു സംഭാഷിച്ചു.

English: When they desired him to tarry longer time with them, he consented not;

Malayalam: കുറെ കൂടെ താമസിക്കേണം എന്നു അവർ അപേക്ഷിച്ചിട്ടു അവൻ സമ്മതിക്കാതെ:

English: But bade them farewell, saying, I must by all means keep this feast that comes in Jerusalem: but I will return again unto you, if God will. And he sailed from Ephesus.

Malayalam: ദൈവഹിതമുണ്ടെങ്കിൽ ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ അടുക്കൽ മടങ്ങിവരും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു വിടവാങ്ങി എഫെസൊസിൽനിന്നു കപ്പൽ നീക്കി,

English: And when he had landed at Caesarea, and gone up, and saluted the church, he went down to Antioch.

Malayalam: കൈസര്യയിൽ വന്നിറങ്ങി, യെരൂശലേമിലേക്കു ചെന്നു, സഭയെ വന്ദനം ചെയ്തിട്ടു അന്തൊക്ക്യയിലേക്കു പോയി.

English: And after he had spent some time there, he departed, and went over all the country of Galatia and Phrygia in order, strengthening all the disciples.

Malayalam: അവിടെ കുറെനാൾ താമസിച്ച ശേഷം പുറപ്പെട്ടു, ക്രമത്താലെ ഗലാത്യദേശത്തിലും ഫ്രുഗ്യയിലും സഞ്ചരിച്ചു ശിഷ്യന്മാരെ ഒക്കെയും ഉറപ്പിച്ചു.

English: And a certain Jew named Apollos, born at Alexandria, an eloquent man, and mighty in the scriptures, came to Ephesus.

Malayalam: അലക്സാന്ത്രിയക്കാരനായി വാഗ്വൈഭവവും തിരുവെഴുത്തുകളിൽ സാമർത്ഥ്യവുമുള്ള അപ്പൊല്ലോസ് എന്നു പേരുള്ളോരു യെഹൂദൻ എഫെസോസിൽ എത്തി.

English: This man was instructed in the way of the Lord; and being fervent in the spirit, he spoke and taught diligently the things of the Lord, knowing only the baptism of John.

Malayalam: അവൻ കർത്താവിന്റെ മാർഗ്ഗത്തിൽ ഉപദേശം ലഭിച്ചവൻ ആയിരുന്നു; യോഹന്നാന്റെ സ്നാനത്തെക്കുറിച്ചു മാത്രം അറിഞ്ഞിരുന്നു എങ്കിലും ആത്മാവിൽ എരിവുള്ളവനാകയാൽ അവൻ യേശുവിന്റെ വസ്തുത സൂക്ഷമമായി പ്രസ്താവിക്കയും ഉപദേശിക്കയും ചെയ്തു.

English: And he began to speak boldly in the synagogue: whom when Aquila and Priscilla had heard, they took him unto them, and expounded unto him the way of God more perfectly.

Malayalam: അവൻ പള്ളിയിൽ പ്രാഗത്ഭ്യത്തോടെ പ്രസംഗിച്ചുതുടങ്ങി; അക്വിലാസും പ്രിസ്കില്ലയും അവന്റെ പ്രസംഗം കേട്ടാറെ അവനെ ചേർത്തുകൊണ്ടു ദൈവത്തിന്റെ മാർഗ്ഗം അധികം സ്പഷ്ടമായി അവന്നു തെളിയിച്ചുകൊടുത്തു.

English: And when he was disposed to pass into Achaia, the brethren wrote, exhorting the disciples to receive him: who, when he was come, helped them much which had believed through grace:

Malayalam: അവൻ അഖായയിലേക്കു പോകുവാൻ ഇച്ഛിച്ചപ്പോൾ സഹോദരന്മാർ അവനെ ഉത്സാഹിപ്പിക്കയും അവനെ കൈക്കൊള്ളേണ്ടിതിന്നു ശിഷ്യന്മാർക്കു എഴുതുകയും ചെയ്തു; അവിടെ എത്തിയാറെ അവൻ ദൈവകൃപയാൽ വിശ്വസിച്ചവർക്കു വളരെ പ്രയോജനമായിത്തിർന്നു.

English: For he mightily convinced the Jews, and that publicly, showing by the scriptures that Jesus was Christ.

Malayalam: യേശു തന്നേ ക്രിസ്തു എന്നു അവൻ തിരുവെഴുത്തുകളാൽ തെളിയിച്ചു ബലത്തോടെ യെഹൂദന്മാരെ പരസ്യമായി ഖണ്ഡിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു.
