Acts 13

English: Now there were in the church that was at Antioch certain prophets and teachers; as Barnabas, and Simeon that was called Niger, and Lucius of Cyrene, and Manaen, which had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul.

Malayalam: അന്ത്യൊക്ക്യയിലെ സഭയിൽ ബർന്നബാസ്, നീഗർ എന്നു പേരുള്ള ശിമോൻ, കുറേനക്കാരനായ ലൂക്യൊസ്, ഇട പ്രഭുവമായ ഹെരോദാവോടുകൂടെ വളർന്ന മനായേൻ, ശൌൽ എന്നീ പ്രവാചകന്മാരും ഉപദേഷ്ടാക്കന്മാരും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

English: As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Spirit said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work unto which I have called them.

Malayalam: അവർ കർത്താവിനെ ആരാധിച്ചും ഉപവസിച്ചുംകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ: ഞാൻ ബർന്നബാസിനെയും ശൌലിനെയും വിളിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന വേലെക്കായിട്ടു അവരെ എനിക്കു വേർതിരിപ്പിൻ എന്നു പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവു പറഞ്ഞു.

English: And when they had fasted and prayed, and laid their hands on them, they sent them away.

Malayalam: അങ്ങനെ അവർ ഉപവസിച്ചു പ്രാർത്ഥിച്ചു അവരുടെ മേൽ കൈവെച്ചു അവരെ പറഞ്ഞയച്ചു.

English: So they, being sent forth by the Holy Spirit, departed unto Seleucia; and from thence they sailed to Cyprus.

Malayalam: പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവു അവരെ പറഞ്ഞയച്ചിട്ടു അവർ സെലൂക്യയിലേക്കു ചെന്നു; അവിടെ നിന്നു കപ്പൽ കയറി കുപ്രൊസ് ദ്വീപിലേക്കുപോയി

English: And when they were at Salamis, they preached the word of God in the synagogues of the Jews: and they had also John to their minister.

Malayalam: സലമീസിൽ ചെന്നു യെഹൂദന്മാരുടെ പള്ളിയിൽ ദൈവവചനം അറിയിച്ചു. യോഹന്നാൻ അവർക്കു ഭൃത്യനായിട്ടു ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

English: And when they had gone through the isle unto Paphos, they found a certain sorcerer, a false prophet, a Jew, whose name was Barjesus:

Malayalam: അവർ ദ്വീപിൽകൂടി പാഫൊസ് വരെ ചെന്നപ്പോൾ ബർയേശു എന്നു പേരുള്ള യെഹൂദനായി കള്ള പ്രവാചകനായോരു വിദ്വാനെ കണ്ടു.

English: Which was with the deputy of the country, Sergius Paulus, a prudent man; who called for Barnabas and Saul, and desired to hear the word of God.

Malayalam: അവൻ ബുദ്ധിമാനായ സെർഗ്ഗ്യൊസ് പൌലൊസ് എന്ന ദേശാധിപതിയോടു കൂടെ ആയിരുന്നു; അവർ ബർന്നബാസിനെയും ശൌലിനെയും വരുത്തി ദൈവവചനം കേൾപ്പാൻ ആഗ്രഹിച്ചു.

English: But Elymas the sorcerer (for so is his name by interpretation) withstood them, seeking to turn away the deputy from the faith.

Malayalam: എന്നാൽ എലീമാസ് എന്ന വിദ്വാൻ - ഇതാകുന്നു അവന്റെ പേരിന്റെ അർത്ഥം - അവരോടു എതിർത്തുനിന്നു ദേശാധിപതിയുടെ വിശ്വാസം തടുത്തുകളവാൻ ശ്രമിച്ചു.

English: Then Saul, (who also is called Paul,) filled with the Holy Spirit, set his eyes on him.

English: And said, O full of all subtlety and all mischief, you child of the devil, you enemy of all righteousness, will you not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord?

Malayalam: ഹേ സകലകപടവും സകല ധൂർത്തും നിറഞ്ഞവനേ, പിശാചിന്റെ മകനേ, സർവ നീതിയുടെയും ശത്രുവേ, കർത്താവിന്റെ നേർവഴികളെ മറിച്ചുകളയുന്നത് നീ മതിയാക്കുകയില്ലയോ?

English: And now, behold, the hand of the Lord is upon you, and you shall be blind, not seeing the sun for a season. And immediately there fell on him a mist and a darkness; and he went about seeking some to lead him by the hand.

Malayalam: ഇപ്പോൾ കർത്താവിന്റെ കൈ നിന്റെ മേൽ വീഴും; നീ ഒരു സമയത്തേക്കു സൂര്യനെ കാണാതെ കുരുടനായിരിക്കും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. ഉടനെ ഒരു തിമിരവും ഇരുട്ടും അവന്റെ മേൽ വീണു; കൈപിടിച്ചു നടത്തുന്നവരെ തിരഞ്ഞുകൊണ്ടു അവൻ തപ്പിനടന്നു.

English: Then the deputy, when he saw what was done, believed, being astonished at the doctrine of the Lord.

Malayalam: ഈ ഉണ്ടായത് ദേശാധിപതി കണ്ടിട്ടു കർത്താവിന്റെ ഉപദേശത്തിൽ വിസ്മയിച്ചു വിശ്വസിച്ചു.

English: Now when Paul and his company loosed from Paphos, they came to Perga in Pamphylia: and John departing from them returned to Jerusalem.

Malayalam: പൌലൊസും കൂടെയുള്ളവരും പാഫൊസിൽനിന്നു കപ്പൽ നീക്കി, പംഫുല്യാദേശത്തിലെ പെർഗ്ഗെക്കു ചെന്നു. അവിടെവെച്ചു യോഹന്നാൻ അവരെ വിട്ടുപിരിഞ്ഞു യെരൂശലേമിലേക്കു മടങ്ങിപ്പോയി.

English: But when they departed from Perga, they came to Antioch in Pisidia, and went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and sat down.

Malayalam: അവരോ പെർഗ്ഗയിൽനിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടു പിസിദ്യാദേശത്തിലെ അന്ത്യൊക്ക്യയിൽ എത്തി ശബ്ബത്ത് നാളിൽ പള്ളിയിൽ ചെന്നു ഇരുന്നു.

English: And after the reading of the law and the prophets the rulers of the synagogue sent unto them, saying, All of you men and brethren, if all of you have any word of exhortation for the people, say on.

Malayalam: ന്യായപ്രമാണവും പ്രവാചകങ്ങളും വായിച്ചുതീർന്നപ്പോൾ പള്ളിപ്രമാണികൾ അവരുടെ അടുക്കൽ ആളയച്ചു: സഹോദരന്മാരേ, നിങ്ങൾക്കു ജനത്തോടു പ്രബോധനം വല്ലതും ഉണ്ടെങ്കിൽ പറവിൻ എന്നു പറയിച്ചു.

English: Then Paul stood up, and beckoning with his hand said, Men of Israel, and all of you that fear God, give audience.

Malayalam: പൌലൊസ് എഴുന്നേറ്റു ആംഗ്യം കാട്ടി പറഞ്ഞതു: യിസ്രായേൽ പുരുഷന്മാരും ദൈവഭക്തന്മാരും ആയുള്ളോരെ, കേൾപ്പിൻ.

English: The God of this people of Israel chose our fathers, and exalted the people when they dwelt as strangers in the land of Egypt, and with an high arm brought he them out of it.

Malayalam: യിസ്രായേൽജനത്തിന്റെ ദൈവം നമ്മുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാരെ തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തു, മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തിലെ പ്രവാസകാലത്തു ജനത്തെ വർദ്ധിപ്പിച്ചു, ഭുജവീര്യംകൊണ്ടു അവിടെനിന്നു പുറപ്പെടുവിച്ചു.

English: And about the time of forty years suffered he their manners in the wilderness.

Malayalam: മരുഭൂമിയിൽ നാല്പതു സംവത്സരകാലത്തോളം അവരുടെ സ്വഭാവം സഹിച്ചു,

English: And when he had destroyed seven nations in the land of Chanaan, he divided their land to them by lot.

Malayalam: കനാൻ ദേശത്തിലെ ഏഴു ജാതികളെ ഒടുക്കി, അവരുടെ ദേശം അവർക്കു അവകാശമായി വിഭാഗിച്ചുകൊടുത്തു. അങ്ങനെ ഏകദേശം നാനൂറ്റമ്പതു സംവത്സരം കഴിഞ്ഞു.

English: And after that he gave unto them judges about the space of four hundred and fifty years, until Samuel the prophet.

Malayalam: അതിന്റെശേഷം അവൻ അവർക്കു ശമൂവേൽ പ്രവാചകൻ വരെ ന്യായാധിപതിമാരെ കൊടുത്തു,

English: And afterward they desired a king: and God gave unto them Saul the son of Cis, a man of the tribe of Benjamin, by the space of forty years.

Malayalam: അനന്തരം അവർ ഒരു രാജാവിനെ ചോദിച്ചു; ദൈവം അവർക്കു ബെന്യാമീൻ ഗോത്രക്കാരനായ കീശിന്റെ മകൻ ശൌലിനെ നാല്പതാണ്ടേക്കു കൊടുത്തു.

English: And when he had removed him, he raised up unto them David to be their king; to whom also he gave their testimony, and said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfill all my will.

Malayalam: അവനെ നീക്കീട്ടു ദാവീദിനെ അവർക്കു രാജാവായി വാഴിച്ചു: ഞാൻ യിശ്ശായിയുടെ മകനായ ദാവീദിനെ എനിക്കു ബോധിച്ച പുരുഷനായി കണ്ടു; അവൻ എന്റെ ഹിതം എല്ലാം ചെയ്യും എന്നു അവനെക്കുറിച്ചു സാക്ഷ്യം പറഞ്ഞു.

English: Of this man's seed has God according to his promise raised unto Israel a Saviour, Jesus:

Malayalam: അവന്റെ സന്തതിയിൽനിന്നു ദൈവം വാഗ്ദത്തം ചെയ്തതുപോലെ യിസ്രായേലിന്നു യേശു എന്ന രക്ഷിതാവിനെ കൊടുത്തു.

English: When John had first preached before his coming the baptism of repentance to all the people of Israel.

Malayalam: അവന്റെ വരവിന്നു മുമ്പെ യോഹന്നാൻ യിസ്രായേൽജനത്തിന്നു ഒക്കെയും മാനസാന്തരത്തിന്റെ സ്നാനം പ്രസംഗിച്ചു.

English: And as John fulfilled his course, he said, Whom think all of you that I am? I am not he. But, behold, there comes one after me, whose shoes of his feet I am not worthy to loose.

Malayalam: യോഹന്നാൻ ജീവകാലം തികവാറായപ്പോൾ: നിങ്ങൾ എന്നെ ആർ എന്നു നിരൂപിക്കുന്നു? ഞാൻ മശീഹയല്ല; അവൻ എന്റെ പിന്നാലെ വരുന്നു; അവന്റെ കാലിലെ ചെരിപ്പു അഴിപ്പാൻ ഞാൻ യോഗ്യനല്ല എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

English: Men and brethren, children of the stock of Abraham, and whosoever among you fears God, to you is the word of this salvation sent.

Malayalam: സഹോദരന്മാരേ, അബ്രാഹാംവംശത്തിലെ മക്കളും അവരോടു ചേർന്ന ദൈവഭക്തന്മാരുമായുള്ളാരേ, നമുക്കാകുന്നു ഈ രക്ഷാവചനം അയച്ചിരിക്കുന്നതു.

English: For they that dwell at Jerusalem, and their rulers, because they knew him not, nor yet the voices of the prophets which are read every sabbath day, they have fulfilled them in condemning him.

Malayalam: യെരൂശലേം നിവാസികളും അവരുടെ പ്രമാണികളും അവനെയോ ശബ്ബത്തുതോറും വായിച്ചുവരുന്ന പ്രവാചകന്മാരുടെ വചനങ്ങളെയോ തിരിച്ചറിയാതെ അവനെ ശിക്ഷക്കു വിധിക്കയാൽ അവെക്കു നിവൃത്തിവരുത്തി.

English: And though they found no cause of death in him, yet desired they Pilate that he should be slain.

Malayalam: മരണത്തിന്നു ഒരു ഹേതുവും കാണാഞ്ഞിട്ടും അവനെ കൊല്ലേണം എന്നു അവർ പീലാത്തൊസിനോടു അപേക്ഷിച്ചു.

English: And when they had fulfilled all that was written of him, they took him down from the tree, and laid him in a tomb.

Malayalam: അവനെക്കുറിച്ചു എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നതു ഒക്കെയും തികെച്ചശേഷം അവർ അവനെ മരത്തിൽനിന്നു ഇറക്കി ഒരു കല്ലറയിൽ വെച്ചു.

English: But God raised him from the dead:

Malayalam: ദൈവമോ അവനെ മരിച്ചവരിൽ നിന്നു ഉയിർത്തെഴുന്നേല്പിച്ചു;

English: And he was seen many days of them which came up with him from Galilee to Jerusalem, who are his witnesses unto the people.

Malayalam: അവൻ തന്നോടുകൂടെ ഗലീലയിൽനിന്നു യെരൂശലേമിലേക്കു വന്നവർക്കു ഏറിയ ദിവസം പ്രത്യക്ഷനായി; അവർ ഇപ്പോൾ ജനത്തിന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ അവന്റെ സാക്ഷികൾ ആകുന്നു.

English: And we declare unto you glad tidings, how that the promise which was made unto the fathers,

Malayalam: ദൈവം പിതാക്കന്മാരോടു ചെയ്ത വാഗ്ദത്തം യേശുവിനെ ഉയിർത്തെഴുന്നേല്പിച്ചതിനാൽ മക്കൾക്കു നിവർത്തിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു ഞങ്ങൾ നിങ്ങളോടു സുവിശേഷിക്കുന്നു.

English: God has fulfilled the same unto us their children, in that he has raised up Jesus again; as it is also written in the second psalm, You are my Son, this day have I begotten you.

Malayalam: നീ എന്റെ പുത്രൻ; ഇന്നു ഞാൻ നിന്നെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു എന്നു രണ്ടാം സങ്കീർത്തനത്തിൽ എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നു വല്ലോ.

English: And as concerning that he raised him up from the dead, now no more to return to corruption, he said likewise, I will give you the sure mercies of David.

Malayalam: ഇനി ദ്രവത്വത്തിലേക്കു തിരിയാതവണ്ണം അവൻ അവനെ മരിച്ചവരിനിന്നു എഴുന്നേല്പിച്ചതിനെക്കുറിച്ചു അവൻ: ദാവീദിന്റെ സ്ഥിരമായുള്ള വിശുദ്ധ കൃപകളെ ഞാൻ നിങ്ങൾക്കു നല്കും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു

English: Wherefore he says also in another psalm, You shall not suffer yours Holy One to see corruption.

Malayalam: മറ്റൊരു സങ്കിർത്തനത്തിലും: നിന്റെ പരിശുദ്ധനെ ദ്രവത്വം കാണ്മാൻ നീ വിട്ടുകൊടുക്കയില്ല എന്നു പറയുന്നു.

English: For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell asleep, and was laid unto his fathers, and saw corruption:

Malayalam: ദാവീദ് തന്റെ തലമുറയിൽ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ആലോചനെക്കു ശുശ്രൂഷ ചെയ്തശേഷം നിദ്ര പ്രാപിച്ചു തന്റെ പിതാക്കന്മാരോടു ചേർന്നു ദ്രവത്വം കണ്ടു.

English: But he, whom God raised again, saw no corruption.

Malayalam: ദൈവം ഉയിർത്തെഴുന്നേല്പിച്ചവനോ ദ്രവത്വം കണ്ടില്ല. ആകയാൽ സഹോദരന്മാരേ,

English: Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins:

Malayalam: ഇവൻ മൂലം നിങ്ങളോടു പാപമോചനം അറിയിക്കുന്നു എന്നും

English: And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which all of you could not be justified by the law of Moses.

Malayalam: മോശെയുടെ ന്യായപ്രമാണത്താൽ നിങ്ങൾക്കു നീതീകരണം വരുവാൻ കഴിയാത്ത സകലത്തിൽ നിന്നും വിശ്വസിക്കുന്ന ഏവനും ഇവനാൽ നീതീകരിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു എന്നും നിങ്ങൾ അറിഞ്ഞുകൊൾവിൻ.

English: Beware therefore, lest that come upon you, which is spoken of in the prophets;

Malayalam: ആകയാൽ, “ഹേ നിന്ദക്കാരേ, നോക്കുവിൻ ആശ്ചര്യപ്പെട്ടു നശിച്ചുപോകുവിൻ. നിങ്ങളുടെ കാലത്തു ഞാൻ ഒരു പ്രവൃത്തി ചെയ്യുന്നു; നിങ്ങളോടു വിവരിച്ചാൽ നിങ്ങൾ വിശ്വസിക്കാത്ത പ്രവൃത്തി തന്നേ”

English: Behold, all of you despisers, and wonder, and perish: for I work a work in your days, a work which all of you shall in no wise believe, though a man declare it unto you.

Malayalam: എന്നു പ്രവാചകപുസ്തകങ്ങളിൽ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നതു നിങ്ങൾക്കു ഭവിക്കാതിരിപ്പാൻ സൂക്ഷിച്ചുകൊൾവിൻ.

English: And when the Jews were gone out of the synagogue, the Gentiles besought that these words might be preached to them the next sabbath.

Malayalam: അവർ പള്ളിവിട്ടു പോകുമ്പോൾ പിറ്റെ ശബ്ബത്തിൽ ഈ വചനം തങ്ങളോടു പറയേണം എന്നു അവർ അപേക്ഷിച്ചു.

English: Now when the congregation was broken up, many of the Jews and religious proselytes followed Paul and Barnabas: who, speaking to them, persuaded them to continue in the grace of God.

Malayalam: പള്ളി പിരിഞ്ഞശേഷം യെഹൂദന്മാരിലും ഭക്തിയുള്ള യെഹൂദമതാനുസാരികളിലും പലർ പൌലൊസിനെയും ബർന്നാബാസിനെയും അനുഗമിച്ചു; അവർ അവരോടു സംസാരിച്ചു ദൈവ കൃപയിൽ നിലനിൽക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവരെ ഉത്സാഹിപ്പിച്ചു.

English: And the next sabbath day came almost the whole city together to hear the word of God.

Malayalam: പിറ്റെ ശബ്ബത്തിൽ ഏകദേശം പട്ടണം മുഴുവനും ദൈവവചനം കേൾപ്പാൻ വന്നു കൂടി.

English: But when the Jews saw the multitudes, they were filled with envy, and spoke against those things which were spoken by Paul, contradicting and blaspheming.

Malayalam: യെഹൂദന്മാരോ പുരുഷാരത്തെ കണ്ടു അസൂയ നിറഞ്ഞവരായി ദുഷിച്ചുകൊണ്ടു പൌലൊസ് സംസാരിക്കുന്നതിന്നു എതിർ പറഞ്ഞു.

English: Then Paul and Barnabas waxed bold, and said, It was necessary that the word of God should first have been spoken to you: but seeing all of you put it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles.

Malayalam: അപ്പോൾ പൌലൊസും ബർന്നബാസും ധൈര്യംപൂണ്ടു: ദൈവവചനം ആദ്യം നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നതു ആവശ്യമായിരുന്നു; എന്നാൽ നിങ്ങൾ അതിനെ തള്ളി നിങ്ങളെത്തന്നെ നിത്യജീവന്നു അയോഗ്യർ എന്നു വിധിച്ചുകളയുന്നതിനാൽ ഇതാ, ഞങ്ങൾ ജാതികളിലേക്കു തിരിയുന്നു.

English: For so has the Lord commanded us, saying, I have set you to be a light of the Gentiles, that you should be for salvation unto the ends of the earth.

Malayalam: “നീ ഭൂമിയുടെ അറ്റത്തോളവും രക്ഷ ആകേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാൻ നിന്നെ ജാതികളുടെ വെളിച്ചമാക്കി വെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു” എന്നു കർത്താവു ഞങ്ങളോടു കല്പിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

English: And when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of the Lord: and as many as were ordained to eternal life believed.

Malayalam: ജാതികൾ ഇതു കേട്ടു സന്തോഷിച്ചു ദൈവവചനത്തെ മഹത്വപ്പെടുത്തി, നിത്യജീവന്നായി നിയമിക്കപ്പെട്ടവർ എല്ലാവരും വിശ്വസിച്ചു.

English: And the word of the Lord was published throughout all the region.

Malayalam: കർത്താവിന്റെ വചനം ആ നാട്ടിൽ എങ്ങും വ്യാപിച്ചു.

English: But the Jews stirred up the devout and honourable women, and the chief men of the city, and raised persecution against Paul and Barnabas, and expelled them out of their coasts.

Malayalam: യെഹൂദന്മാരോ ഭക്തിയുള്ള മാന്യസ്ത്രീകളെയും പട്ടണത്തിലെ പ്രധാനികളെയും ഇളക്കി പൌലൊസിന്റെയും ബർന്നബാസിന്റെയും നേരെ ഉപദ്രവമുണ്ടാക്കി അവരെ തങ്ങളുടെ അതിരുകളിൽ നിന്നു പുറത്താക്കിക്കളഞ്ഞു.

English: But they shook off the dust of their feet against them, and came unto Iconium.

Malayalam: എന്നാൽ അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ കാലിലെ പൊടി അവരുടെ നേരെ തട്ടിക്കളഞ്ഞു ഇക്കോന്യയിലേക്കു പോയി.

English: And the disciples were filled with joy, and with the Holy Spirit.

Malayalam: ശിഷ്യന്മാർ സന്തോഷവും പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവും നിറഞ്ഞവരായിത്തീർന്നു.
