Acts 11

English: And the apostles and brethren that were in Judaea heard that the Gentiles had also received the word of God.

Malayalam: ജാതികളും ദൈവവചനം കൈകൊണ്ടു എന്നു അപ്പൊസ്തലന്മാരും യെഹൂദ്യയിലുള്ള സഹോദരന്മാരും കേട്ടു.

English: And when Peter was come up to Jerusalem, they that were of the circumcision contended with him,

Malayalam: പത്രൊസ് യെരൂശലേമിൽ എത്തിയപ്പോൾ പരിച്ഛേദനക്കാർ അവനോടു വാദിച്ചു:

English: Saying, You went in to men uncircumcised, and did eat with them.

Malayalam: നീ അഗ്രചർമ്മികളുടെ അടുക്കൽ ചെന്നു അവരോടുകൂടെ ഭക്ഷിച്ചു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

English: But Peter rehearsed the matter from the beginning, and expounded it by order unto them, saying,

Malayalam: പത്രൊസ് കാര്യം ആദിമുതൽ ക്രമമായി അവരോടു വിവരിച്ചുപറഞ്ഞതു:

English: I was in the city of Joppa praying: and in a trance I saw a vision, A certain vessel descend, as it had been a great sheet, let down from heaven by four corners; and it came even to me:

Malayalam: ഞാൻ യോപ്പാപട്ടണത്തിൽ പ്രാർത്ഥിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ വിവശതയിൽ ഒരുദർശനം കണ്ടു: ആകാശത്തിൽനിന്നു നാലു കോണും കെട്ടി ഇറക്കിയ വലിയ തുപ്പട്ടിപോലെ ഒരു പാത്രം എന്റെ അടുക്കലോളം വന്നു.

English: Upon the which when I had fastened mine eyes, I considered, and saw four-footed beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air.

Malayalam: അതിൽ ഞാൻ സൂക്ഷിച്ചുനോക്കിയപ്പോൾ ഭൂമിയിലെ നാൽക്കാലികളെയും കാട്ടുമൃഗങ്ങളെയും ഇഴജാതികളെയും ആകാശത്തിലെ പറവകളെയും കണ്ടു:

English: And I heard a voice saying unto me, Arise, Peter; slay and eat.

Malayalam: പത്രൊസേ, എഴുന്നേറ്റു അറുത്തു തിന്നുക എന്നു എന്നോടു പറയുന്നോരു ശബ്ദവും കേട്ടു.

English: But I said, Not so, Lord: for nothing common or unclean has at any time entered into my mouth.

Malayalam: അതിന്നു ഞാൻ: ഒരിക്കലും പാടില്ല, കർത്താവേ; മലിനമോ അശുദ്ധമോ ആയതൊന്നും ഒരിക്കലും എന്റെ വായിൽ ചെന്നിട്ടില്ലല്ലോ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

English: But the voice answered me again from heaven, What God has cleansed, that call not you common.

Malayalam: ആ ശബ്ദം പിന്നെയും ആകാശത്തിൽ നിന്നു: ദൈവം ശുദ്ധീകരിച്ചതു നീ മലിനം എന്നു വിചാരിക്കരുതു എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

English: And this was done three times: and all were drawn up again into heaven.

Malayalam: ഇതു മൂന്നു പ്രാവശ്യം ഉണ്ടായി; പിന്നെ എല്ലാം തിരികെ ആകാശത്തിലേക്കു വലിച്ചെടുത്തു.

English: And, behold, immediately there were three men already come unto the house where I was, sent from Caesarea unto me.

Malayalam: അപ്പോൾ തന്നേ കൈസര്യയിൽ നിന്നു എന്റെ അടുക്കൽ അയച്ചിരുന്ന മൂന്നു പുരുഷന്മാർ ഞങ്ങൾ പാർത്ത വീട്ടിന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ നിന്നിരുന്നു;

English: And the Spirit bade me go with them, nothing doubting. Moreover these six brethren accompanied me, and we entered into the man's house:

Malayalam: ഒന്നും സംശയിക്കാതെ അവരോടുകൂടെ പോകുവാൻ ആത്മാവു എന്നോടു കല്പിച്ചു. ഈ ആറു സഹോദരന്മാരും എന്നോടുകൂടെ പോന്നു; ഞങ്ങൾ ആ പുരുഷന്റെ വീട്ടിൽ ചെന്നു.

English: And he showed us how he had seen an angel in his house, which stood and said unto him, Send men to Joppa, and call for Simon, whose surname is Peter;

Malayalam: അവൻ തന്റെ വീട്ടിൽ ഒരു ദൂതൻ നില്ക്കുന്നതു കണ്ടു എന്നും നീ യോപ്പയിലേക്കു ആളയച്ചു പത്രൊസ് എന്നു മറുപേരുള്ള ശിമോനെ വരുത്തുക;

English: Who shall tell you words, whereby you and all your house shall be saved.

Malayalam: നീയും നിന്റെ ഗൃഹം മുഴുവനും രക്ഷിക്കപ്പെടുവാനുള്ള വാക്കുകളെ അവൻ നിന്നോടു സംസാരിക്കും എന്നു ദൂതൻ പറഞ്ഞു എന്നും ഞങ്ങളോടു അറിയിച്ചു.

English: And as I began to speak, the Holy Spirit fell on them, as on us at the beginning.

Malayalam: ഞാൻ സംസാരിച്ചു തുടങ്ങിയപ്പോഴേക്കു പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവു ആദിയിൽ നമ്മുടെമേൽ എന്നപോലെ അവരുടെ മേലും വന്നു.

English: Then remembered I the word of the Lord, how that he said, John indeed baptized with water; but all of you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit.

Malayalam: അപ്പോൾ ഞാൻ: യോഹന്നാൻ വെള്ളംകൊണ്ടു സ്നാനം കഴിപ്പിച്ചു; നിങ്ങൾക്കോ പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവുകൊണ്ടു സ്നാനം ലഭിക്കും എന്നു കർത്താവു പറഞ്ഞ വാക്കു ഓർത്തു.

English: Forasmuch then as God gave them the like gift as he did unto us, who believed on the Lord Jesus Christ; what was I, that I could withstand God?

Malayalam: ആകയാൽ കർത്താവായ യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിൽ വിശ്വസിച്ചവരായ നമുക്കു തന്നതുപോലെ അതേ ദാനത്തെ അവർക്കും ദൈവം കൊടുത്തു എങ്കിൽ ദൈവത്തെ തടുപ്പാൻ തക്കവണ്ണം ഞാൻ ആർ?

English: When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then has God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life.

Malayalam: അവർ ഇതു കേട്ടപ്പോൾ മിണ്ടാതിരുന്നു: അങ്ങനെ ആയാൽ ദൈവം ജാതികൾക്കും ജീവപ്രാപ്തിക്കായി മാനസാന്തരം നല്കിയല്ലോ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു ദൈവത്തെ മഹത്വപ്പെടുത്തി.

English: Now they which were scattered abroad upon the persecution that arose about Stephen travelled as far as Phenice, and Cyprus, and Antioch, preaching the word to none but unto the Jews only.

Malayalam: സ്തെഫാനൊസ് നിമിത്തം ഉണ്ടായ ഉപദ്രവം ഹേതുവാൽ ചിതറിപ്പോയവർ യെഹൂദന്മാരോടല്ലാതെ മറ്റാരോടും വചനം സംസാരിക്കാതെ ഫൊയ്നിക്യാ, കുപ്രൊസ്, അന്ത്യൊക്ക്യ എന്നീ പ്രദേശങ്ങളോളം സഞ്ചരിച്ചു.

English: And some of them were men of Cyprus and Cyrene, which, when they were come to Antioch, spoke unto the Grecians, preaching the LORD Jesus.

Malayalam: അവരിൽ ചിലർ കുപ്രൊസ്കാരും കുറേനക്കാരും ആയിരുന്നു; അവർ അന്ത്യൊക്ക്യയിൽഎത്തിയശേഷം യവനന്മാരോടും കർത്താവായ യേശുവിനെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള സുവിശേഷം അറിയിച്ചു.

English: And the hand of the Lord was with them: and a great number believed, and turned unto the Lord.

Malayalam: കർത്താവിന്റെ കൈ അവരോടുകൂടെ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; വലിയൊരു കൂട്ടം വിശ്വസിച്ചു കർത്താവിങ്കലേക്കു തിരിഞ്ഞു.

English: Then tidings of these things came unto the ears of the church which was in Jerusalem: and they sent forth Barnabas, that he should go as far as Antioch.

Malayalam: അവരെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള ഈ വർത്തമാനം യെരൂശലേമിലെ സഭയുടെ ചെവിയിൽ എത്തിയപ്പോൾ അവർ ബർന്നബാസിനെ അന്ത്യൊക്ക്യയോളം പറഞ്ഞയച്ചു.

English: Who, when he came, and had seen the grace of God, was glad, and exhorted them all, that with purpose of heart they would cleave unto the Lord.

Malayalam: അവൻ ചെന്നു ദൈവകൃപ കണ്ടു സന്തോഷിച്ചു. എല്ലാവരും ഹൃദയനിർണ്ണയത്തോടെ കർത്താവിനോടു ചേർന്നുനില്പാന്തക്കവണ്ണം പ്രബോധിപ്പിച്ചു.

English: For he was a good man, and full of the Holy Spirit and of faith: and much people was added unto the Lord.

Malayalam: അവൻ നല്ല മനുഷ്യനും പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവിനാലും വിശ്വാസത്താലും നിറഞ്ഞവനും ആയിരുന്നു; വളരെ പുരുഷന്മാരും കർത്താവിനോടു ചേർന്നു.

English: Then departed Barnabas to Tarsus, in order to seek Saul:

Malayalam: അവൻ ശൌലിനെ തിരവാൻ തർസൊസിലേക്കു പോയി, അവനെ കണ്ടെത്തിയാറെ അന്ത്യൊക്ക്യയിലേക്കു കൂട്ടിക്കൊണ്ടുവന്നു.

English: And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.

Malayalam: അവർ ഒരു സംവത്സരം മുഴുവനും സഭായോഗങ്ങളിൽ കൂടുകയും ബഹുജനത്തെ ഉപദേശിക്കയും ചെയ്തു; ആദ്യം അന്ത്യൊക്ക്യയിൽവെച്ചു ശിഷ്യന്മാർക്കു ക്രിസ്ത്യാനികൾ എന്നു പേർ ഉണ്ടായി.

English: And in these days came prophets from Jerusalem unto Antioch.

Malayalam: ആ കാലത്തു യെരൂശലേമിൽ നിന്നു പ്രവാചകന്മാർ അന്ത്യൊക്ക്യയിലേക്കു വന്നു.

English: And there stood up one of them named Agabus, and signified by the Spirit that there should be great dearth throughout all the world: which came to pass in the days of Claudius Caesar.

Malayalam: അവരിൽ അഗബൊസ് എന്നു പേരുള്ളൊരുവൻ എഴുന്നേറ്റു ലോകത്തിൽ ഒക്കെയും മഹാക്ഷാമം ഉണ്ടാകും എന്നു ആത്മാവിനാൽ പ്രവചിച്ചു; അതു ക്ളൌദ്യൊസിന്റെ കാലത്തു സംഭവിച്ചു.

English: Then the disciples, every man according to his ability, determined to send relief unto the brethren which dwelt in Judaea:

Malayalam: അപ്പോൾ യെഹൂദ്യയിൽ പാർക്കുന്ന സഹോദരന്മാരുടെ ഉതവിക്കായി ശിഷ്യന്മാരിൽ ഓരോരുത്തൻ പ്രാപ്തിപോലെ കൊടുത്തയപ്പാൻ നിശ്ചയിച്ചു.

English: Which also they did, and sent it to the elders by the hands of Barnabas and Saul.

Malayalam: അവർ അതു നടത്തി, ബർന്നബാസിന്റെയും ശൌലിന്റെയും കയ്യിൽ മൂപ്പന്മാർക്കു കൊടുത്തയച്ചു.
