English: Then the people of the land took Jehoahaz the son of Josiah, and made him king in his father's position in Jerusalem.

Malayalam: ദേശത്തെ ജനം യോശീയാവിന്റെ മകനായ യെഹോവാഹാസിനെ കൂട്ടിക്കൊണ്ടുവന്നു അവനെ അപ്പന്നു പകരം യെരൂശലേമിൽ രാജാവാക്കി.

English: Jehoahaz was twenty and three years old when he began to reign, and he reigned three months in Jerusalem.

Malayalam: യെഹോവാഹാസ് വാഴ്ചതുടങ്ങിയപ്പോൾ അവന്നു ഇരുപത്തിമൂന്നു വയസ്സായിരുന്നു; അവൻ മൂന്നു മാസം യെരൂശലേമിൽ വാണു.

English: And the king of Egypt put him down at Jerusalem, and condemned the land in an hundred talents of silver and a talent of gold.

Malayalam: മിസ്രയീംരാജാവു അവനെ യെരൂശലേമിൽവെച്ചു പിഴുക്കി ദേശത്തിന്നു നൂറു താലന്ത് വെള്ളിയും ഒരു താലന്ത് പൊന്നും പിഴ കല്പിച്ചു.

English: And the king of Egypt made Eliakim his brother king over Judah and Jerusalem, and turned his name to Jehoiakim. And Necho took Jehoahaz his brother, and carried him to Egypt.

Malayalam: മിസ്രയീംരാജാവു അവന്റെ സഹോദരനായ എല്യാക്കീമിനെ യെഹൂദെക്കും യെരൂശലേമിന്നും രാജാവാക്കി; അവന്റെ പേർ യെഹോയാക്കീം എന്നു മാറ്റി. അവന്റെ സഹോദരനായ യെഹോവാഹാസിനെ നെഖോ പിടിച്ചു മിസ്രയീമിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുപോയി.

English: Jehoiakim was twenty and five years old when he began to reign, and he reigned eleven years in Jerusalem: and he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD his God.

Malayalam: യെഹോയാക്കീം വാഴ്ച തുടങ്ങിയപ്പോൾ അവന്നു ഇരുപത്തഞ്ചു വയസ്സായിരുന്നു; അവൻ ഏഴു സംവത്സരം യെരൂശലേമിൽ വാണു; അവൻ തന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവെക്കു അനിഷ്ടമായുള്ളതു ചെയ്തു.

English: Against him came up Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and bound him in fetters, to carry him to Babylon.

Malayalam: അവന്റെ നേരെ ബാബേൽരാജാവായ നെബൂഖദ് നേസർ വന്നു അവനെ ചങ്ങലയിട്ടു ബാബേലിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുപോയി,

English: Nebuchadnezzar also carried of the vessels of the house of the LORD to Babylon, and put them in his temple at Babylon.

Malayalam: നെബൂഖദ് നേസർ യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിലെ ഉപകരണങ്ങളും ബാബേലിൽ കൊണ്ടുപോയി ബാബേലിൽ തന്റെ ദേവന്റെ ക്ഷേത്രത്തിൽ വെച്ചു.

English: Now the rest of the acts of Jehoiakim, and his abominations which he did, and that which was found in him, behold, they are written in the book of the kings of Israel and Judah: and Jehoiachin his son reigned in his position.

Malayalam: യെഹോയാക്കീമിന്റെ മറ്റുള്ള വൃത്താന്തങ്ങളും അവൻ ചെയ്തതും അവനിൽ കണ്ടതുമായ മ്ളേച്ഛതകളും യിസ്രായേലിലെയും യെഹൂദയിലെയും രാജാക്കന്മാരുടെ പുസ്തകത്തിൽ എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ. അവന്റെ മകനായ യെഹോയാഖീൻ അവന്നുപകരം രാജാവായി.

English: Jehoiachin was eight years old when he began to reign, and he reigned three months and ten days in Jerusalem: and he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD.

Malayalam: യെഹോയാഖീൻ വാഴ്ച തുടങ്ങിയപ്പോൾ അവന്നു എട്ടു വയസ്സായിരുന്നു: അവൻ മൂന്നു മാസവും പത്തു ദിവസവും യെരൂശലേമിൽ വാണു; അവൻ യഹോവെക്കു അനിഷ്ടമായുള്ളതു ചെയ്തു.

English: And when the year was expired, king Nebuchadnezzar sent, and brought him to Babylon, with the goodly vessels of the house of the LORD, and made Zedekiah his brother king over Judah and Jerusalem.

Malayalam: എന്നാൽ പിറ്റെയാണ്ടിൽ നെബൂഖദ് നേസർരാജാവു ആളയച്ചു അവനെയും യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിലെ മനോഹരമായ ഉപകരണങ്ങളെയും ബാബേലിലേക്കു വരുത്തി, അവന്റെ സഹോദരനായ സിദെക്കീയാവെ യെഹൂദെക്കും യെരൂശലേമിന്നും രാജാവാക്കി.

English: Zedekiah was one and twenty years old when he began to reign, and reigned eleven years in Jerusalem.

Malayalam: സിദെക്കീയാവു വാഴ്ച തുടങ്ങിയപ്പോൾ അവന്നു ഇരുപത്തൊന്നു വയസ്സായിരുന്നു; അവൻ പതിനൊന്നു സംവത്സരം യെരൂശലേമിൽ വാണു.

English: And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD his God, and humbled not himself before Jeremiah the prophet speaking from the mouth of the LORD.

Malayalam: അവൻ തന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവെക്കു അനിഷ്ടമായുള്ളതു ചെയ്തു; യഹോവയുടെ വായിൽനിന്നുള്ള വചനം പ്രസ്താവിച്ച യിരെമ്യാപ്രവാചകന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ തന്നെത്താൻ താഴ്ത്തിയില്ല.

English: And he also rebelled against king Nebuchadnezzar, who had made him swear by God: but he stiffened his neck, and hardened his heart from turning unto the LORD God of Israel.

Malayalam: അവനെക്കൊണ്ടു ദൈവനാമത്തിൽ സത്യം ചെയ്യിച്ചിരുന്ന നെബൂഖദ് നേസർ രാജാവിനോടു അവൻ മത്സരിച്ചു ശാഠ്യം കാണിക്കയും യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയിങ്കലേക്കു തിരിയാത വണ്ണം തന്റെ ഹൃദയം കഠിനമാക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു.

English: Moreover all the chief of the priests, and the people, transgressed very much after all the abominations of the heathen; and polluted the house of the LORD which he had hallowed in Jerusalem.

Malayalam: പുരോഹിതന്മാരിൽ പ്രധാനികളൊക്കെയും ജനവും ജാതികളുടെ സകലമ്ളേച്ഛതകളെയുംപോലെ വളരെ അകൃത്യം ചെയ്തു; യെരൂശലേമിൽ യഹോവ വിശുദ്ധീകരിച്ച അവന്റെ ആലയത്തെ അശുദ്ധമാക്കി.

English: And the LORD God of their fathers sent to them by his messengers, rising up early, and sending; because he had compassion on his people, and on his dwelling place:

Malayalam: അവരുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാരുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവെക്കു തന്റെ ജനത്തോടും തന്റെ നിവാസത്തോടും സഹതാപം തോന്നീട്ടു അവൻ ജാഗ്രതയോടെ തന്റെ ദൂതന്മാരെ അവരുടെ അടുക്കൽ അയച്ചു.

English: But they mocked the messengers of God, and despised his words, and misused his prophets, until the wrath of the LORD arose against his people, till there was no remedy.

Malayalam: അവരോ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ദൂതന്മാരെ പരിഹസിച്ചു അവന്റെ വാക്കുകളെ നിരസിച്ചു ഉപശാന്തിയില്ലാതാകും വണ്ണം യഹോവയുടെ കോപം തന്റെ ജനത്തിന്നു നേരെ ഉജ്ജ്വലിക്കുവോളം അവന്റെ പ്രവാചകന്മാരെ നിന്ദിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു.

English: Therefore he brought upon them the king of the Chaldees, who slew their young men with the sword in the house of their sanctuary, and had no compassion upon young man or maiden, old man, or him that stooped for age: he gave them all into his hand.

Malayalam: അതുകൊണ്ടു അവൻ കൽദയരുടെ രാജാവിനെ അവരുടെ നേരെ വരുത്തി; അവൻ അവരുടെ യൌവനക്കാരെ അവരുടെ വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരമായ ആലയത്തിൽവെച്ചു വാൾകൊണ്ടു കൊന്നു; അവൻ യൌവനക്കാരനെയോ കന്യകയെയോ വൃദ്ധനെയോ കിഴവനെയോ ആദരിക്കാതെ അവരെ ഒക്കെയും അവന്റെ കയ്യിൽ ഏല്പിച്ചുകൊടുത്തു.

English: And all the vessels of the house of God, great and small, and the treasures of the house of the LORD, and the treasures of the king, and of his princes; all these he brought to Babylon.

Malayalam: ദൈവാലയത്തിലെ ചെറിയതും വലിയതുമായ ഉപകരണങ്ങളൊക്കെയും യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിലെ ഭണ്ഡാരവും രാജാവിന്റെയും അവന്റെ പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരുടെയും ഭണ്ഡാരങ്ങളുമെല്ലാം അവൻ ബാബേലിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുപോയി.

English: And they burnt the house of God, and brake down the wall of Jerusalem, and burnt all the palaces thereof with fire, and destroyed all the goodly vessels thereof.

Malayalam: അവർ ദൈവാലയം ചുട്ടു, യെരൂശലേമിന്റെ മതിൽ ഇടിച്ചു, അതിലെ അരമനകൾ എല്ലാം തീക്കിരയാക്കി അതിലെ മനോഹരസാധനങ്ങളൊക്കെയും നശിപ്പിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു.

English: And them that had escaped from the sword carried he away to Babylon; where they were servants to him and his sons until the reign of the kingdom of Persia:

Malayalam: വാളിനാൽ വീഴാതെ ശേഷിച്ചവരെ അവൻ ബാബേലിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുപോയി; പാർസിരാജ്യത്തിന്നു ആധിപത്യം സിദ്ധിക്കുംവരെ അവർ അവിടെ അവന്നും അവന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർക്കും അടിമകളായിരുന്നു.

English: To fulfill the word of the LORD by the mouth of Jeremiah, until the land had enjoyed her sabbaths: for as long as she lay desolate she kept sabbath, to fulfill threescore and ten years.

Malayalam: യിരെമ്യാമുഖാന്തരം ഉണ്ടായ യഹോവയുടെ വചനം നിവൃത്തിയാകേണ്ടതിന്നു ദേശം അതിന്റെ ശബ്ബത്തുകളെ അനുഭവിച്ചു കഴിയുവോളം തന്നേ; എഴുപതു സംവത്സരം തികയുവോളം അതു ശൂന്യമായി കിടന്ന കാലമൊക്കെയും ശബ്ബത്തു അനുഭവിച്ചു.

English: Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word of the LORD spoken by the mouth of Jeremiah might be accomplished, the LORD stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and put it also in writing, saying,

Malayalam: എന്നാൽ യിരെമ്യാമുഖാന്തരം ഉണ്ടായ യഹോവയുടെ വചനം നിവൃത്തിയാകേണ്ടതിന്നു പാർസിരാജാവായ കോരെശിന്റെ ഒന്നാം ആണ്ടിൽ യഹോവ പാർസിരാജാവായ കോരെശിന്റെ മനസ്സുണർത്തി; അവൻ തന്റെ രാജ്യത്തെല്ലാടവും ഒരു വിളംബരം പ്രസിദ്ധമാക്കി രേഖാമൂലം പരസ്യം ചെയ്തതെന്തെന്നാൽ:

English: Thus says Cyrus king of Persia, All the kingdoms of the earth has the LORD God of heaven given me; and he has charged me to build him an house in Jerusalem, which is in Judah. Who is there among you of all his people? The LORD his God be with him, and let him go up.

Malayalam: പാർസിരാജാവായ കോരെശ് ഇപ്രകാരം കല്പിക്കുന്നു: സ്വർഗ്ഗത്തിലെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ഭൂമിയിലെ സകലരാജ്യങ്ങളെയും എനിക്കു തന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; യെഹൂദയിലെ യെരൂശലേമിൽ അവന്നു ഒരു ആലയം പണിവാൻ അവൻ എന്നോടു കല്പിച്ചുമിരിക്കുന്നു; നിങ്ങളിൽ അവന്റെ ജനമായിട്ടു ആരെങ്കിലും ഉണ്ടെങ്കിൽ അവന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ അവനോടുകൂടെ ഇരിക്കട്ടെ; അവൻ യാത്രപുറപ്പെടട്ടെ.
