1 Kings 4

English: So king Solomon was king over all Israel.

English: And these were the princes which he had; Azariah the son of Zadok the priest,

Malayalam: അവന്നുണ്ടായിരുന്ന പ്രഭുക്കന്മാർ ആരെന്നാൽ: സാദോക്കിന്റെ മകൻ അസര്യാവു പുരോഹിതൻ.

English: Elihoreph and Ahiah, the sons of Shisha, scribes; Jehoshaphat the son of Ahilud, the recorder.

Malayalam: ശീശയുടെ പുത്രന്മാരായ എലീഹോരെഫും അഹീയാവും രായസക്കാർ; അഹീലൂദിന്റെ മകൻ യെഹോശാഫാത്ത് മന്ത്രി;

English: And Benaiah the son of Jehoiada was over the host: and Zadok and Abiathar were the priests:

Malayalam: യെഹോയാദയുടെ മകൻ ബെനായാവു സേനാധിപതി, സാദോക്കും അബ്യാഥാരും പുരോഹിതന്മാർ;

English: And Azariah the son of Nathan was over the officers: and Zabud the son of Nathan was principal officer, and the king's friend:

Malayalam: നാഥാന്റെ മകനായ അസര്യാവു കാര്യക്കാരന്മാരുടെ മേധാവി; നാഥാന്റെ മകനായ സാബൂദ് പുരോഹിതനും രാജാവിന്റെ സ്നേഹിതനുമായിരുന്നു;

English: And Ahishar was over the household: and Adoniram the son of Abda was over the tribute.

Malayalam: അഹീശാർ രാജഗൃഹവിചാരകൻ; അബ്ദയുടെ കെൻ അദോനീരാം ഊഴിയവേലക്കാരുടെ മേധാവി.

English: And Solomon had twelve officers over all Israel, which provided victuals for the king and his household: each man his month in a year made provision.

Malayalam: രാജാവിന്നും രാജഗൃഹത്തിന്നും ഭോജന പദാർത്ഥങ്ങൾ എത്തിച്ചുകൊടുപ്പാൻ ശലോമോന്നു യിസ്രായേലിലൊക്കെയും പന്ത്രണ്ടു കാര്യക്കാരന്മാർ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. അവരിൽ ഓരോരുത്തൻ ആണ്ടിൽ ഓരോമാസത്തേക്കു ഭോജനപദാർത്ഥങ്ങൾ എത്തിച്ചുകൊടുക്കും.

English: And these are their names: The son of Hur, in mount Ephraim:

Malayalam: അവരുടെ പേരാവിതു: എഫ്രയീംമലനാട്ടിൽ ബെൻ-ഹൂർ;

English: The son of Dekar, in Makaz, and in Shaalbim, and Bethshemesh, and Elonbethhanan:

Malayalam: മാക്കസ്, ശാൽബീം, ബേത്ത്-ശേമെശ്, ഏലോൻ-ബേത്ത്-ഹാനാൻ എന്നീ സ്ഥലങ്ങളിൽ ബെൻ-ദേക്കെർ;

English: The son of Hesed, in Aruboth; to him pertained Sochoh, and all the land of Hepher:

Malayalam: അരുബ്ബോത്തിൽ ബെൻ-ഹേസെർ; സോഖോവും ഹേഫെർദേശം മുഴുവനും അവന്റെ ഇടവക ആയിരുന്നു;

English: The son of Abinadab, in all the region of Dor; which had Taphath the daughter of Solomon to wife:

Malayalam: നാഫത്ത്-ദോറിൽ ബെൻ-അബീനാദാബ്; അവന്നു ശലോമോന്റെ മകളായ താഫത്ത് ഭാര്യയായിരുന്നു;

English: Baana the son of Ahilud; to him pertained Taanach and Megiddo, and all Bethshean, which is by Zartanah beneath Jezreel, from Bethshean to Abelmeholah, even unto the place that is beyond Jokneam:

Malayalam: അഹീലൂദിന്റെ മകനായ ബാനയുടെ ഇടവക താനാക്കും മെഗിദ്ദോവും സാരെഥാന്നരികെ യിസ്രായേലിന്നു താഴെ ബേത്ത്-ശെയാൻ മുതൽ ആബേൽ-മെഹോലാവരെയും യൊക്ക് മെയാമിന്റെ അപ്പുറംവരെയുമുള്ള ബേത്ത്-ശെയാൻ മുഴുവനും ആയിരുന്നു;

English: The son of Geber, in Ramothgilead; to him pertained the towns of Jair the son of Manasseh, which are in Gilead; to him also pertained the region of Argob, which is in Bashan, threescore great cities with walls and brazen bars:

Malayalam: ഗിലെയാദിലെ രാമോത്തിൽ ബെൻ-ഗേബെർ; അവന്റെ ഇടവക മനശ്ശെയുടെ മകനായ യായീരിന്നു ഗിലെയാദിലുള്ള പട്ടണങ്ങളും മതിലുകളും ചെമ്പോടാമ്പലുകളും ഉള്ള അറുപതു വലിയ പട്ടണങ്ങൾ ഉൾപ്പെട്ട ബാശാനിലെ അര്ഗ്ഗോബ് ദേശവും ആയിരുന്നു,

English: Ahinadab the son of Iddo had Mahanaim:

Malayalam: മഹനയീമിൽ ഇദ്ദോവിന്റെ മകൻ അഹീനാദാബ്;

English: Ahimaaz was in Naphtali; he also took Basmath the daughter of Solomon to wife:

Malayalam: നഫ്താലിയിൽ അഹീമാസ്; അവൻ ശലോമോന്റെ മകളായ ബാശെമത്തിനെ ഭാര്യയായി പരിഗ്രഹിച്ചു;

English: Baanah the son of Hushai was in Asher and in Aloth:

Malayalam: ആശേരിലും ബെയാലോത്തിലും ഹൂശയിയുടെ മകൻ ബാനാ;

English: Jehoshaphat the son of Paruah, in Issachar:

Malayalam: യിസ്സാഖാരിൽ പാരൂഹിന്റെ മകനായ യെഹോശാഫാത്ത്;

English: Shimei the son of Elah, in Benjamin:

Malayalam: ബെന്യാമീനിൽ ഏലയുടെ മകനായ ശിമെയി; അമോര്യ രാജാവായ സീഹോന്റെയും

English: Geber the son of Uri was in the country of Gilead, in the country of Sihon king of the Amorites, and of Og king of Bashan; and he was the only officer which was in the land.

Malayalam: ബാശാൻ രാജാവായ ഓഗിന്റെയും രാജ്യമായിരുന്ന ഗിലെയദ് ദേശത്തു ഹൂരിന്റെ മകൻ ഗേബെർ; ആ ദേശത്തു ഒരു കാര്യക്കാരൻ മാത്രമേ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നുള്ളു.

English: Judah and Israel were many, as the sand which is by the sea in multitude, eating and drinking, and making merry.

Malayalam: യെഹൂദയും യിസ്രായേലും കടൽക്കരയിലെ മണൽപോലെ അസംഖ്യമായിരുന്നു; അവർ തിന്നുകയും കുടിക്കയും സന്തോഷിക്കയും ചെയ്തു പോന്നു.

English: And Solomon reigned over all kingdoms from the river unto the land of the Philistines, and unto the border of Egypt: they brought presents, and served Solomon all the days of his life.

Malayalam: നദിമുതൽ ഫെലിസ്ത്യദേശംവരെയും മിസ്രയീമിന്റെ അതിർവരെയും ഉള്ള സകലരാജ്യങ്ങളെയും ശലോമോൻ വാണു; അവർ കപ്പം കൊണ്ടുവന്നു ശലോമോനെ അവന്റെ ജീവപര്യന്തം സേവിച്ചു.

English: And Solomon's provision for one day was thirty measures of fine flour, and threescore measures of meal,

Malayalam: ശലോമോന്റെ നിത്യച്ചെലവു ദിവസം ഒന്നിന്നു മുപ്പതു പറ നേരിയ മാവും അറുപതു പറ സാധാരണമാവും

English: Ten fat oxen, and twenty oxen out of the pastures, and an hundred sheep, beside harts, and roebucks, and fallow-deer, and fatted fowl.

Malayalam: മാൻ, ഇളമാൻ, മ്ളാവു, പുഷ്ടിവരുത്തിയ പക്ഷികൾ എന്നിവ കൂടാതെ തടിപ്പിച്ച പത്തു കാളയും മേച്ചൽപുറത്തെ ഇരുപതു കാളയും നൂറു ആടും ആയിരുന്നു.

English: For he had dominion over all the region on this side the river, from Tiphsah even to Azzah, over all the kings on this side the river: and he had peace on all sides round about him.

Malayalam: നദിക്കു ഇക്കരെ തിഫ്സഹ് മുതൽ ഗസ്സാവരെയുള്ള സകലദേശത്തെയും നദിക്കു ഇക്കരെയുള്ള സകലരാജാക്കന്മാരെയും അവൻ വാണു. ചുറ്റുമുള്ള ദിക്കിൽ ഒക്കെയും അവന്നു സമാധാനം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

English: And Judah and Israel dwelt safely, every man under his vine and under his fig tree, from Dan even to Beersheba, all the days of Solomon.

Malayalam: ശലോമോന്റെ കാലത്തൊക്കെയും യെഹൂദയും യിസ്രായേലും ദാൻമുതൽ ബേർ-ശേബവരെയും ഓരോരുത്തൻ താന്താന്റെ മുന്തിരിവള്ളിയുടെ കീഴിലും അത്തിവൃക്ഷത്തിൻ കീഴിലും നിർഭയം വസിച്ചു.

English: And Solomon had forty thousand stalls of horses for his chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen.

Malayalam: ശലോമോന്നു തന്റെ രഥങ്ങൾക്കു നാല്പതിനായിരം കുതിരലായവും പന്തീരായിരം കുതിരച്ചേവകരും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

English: And those officers provided victual for king Solomon, and for all that came unto king Solomon's table, every man in his month: they lacked nothing.

Malayalam: കാര്യക്കാരന്മാർ ഓരോരുത്തൻ ഓരോ മാസത്തേക്കു ശലോമോൻ രാജാവിന്റെ പന്തിഭോജനത്തിന്നു കൂടുന്ന എല്ലാവർക്കും വേണ്ടുന്ന ഭോജനപദാർത്ഥങ്ങൾ കുറവുകൂടാതെ എത്തിച്ചുകൊടുക്കും.

English: Barley also and straw for the horses and dromedaries brought they unto the place where the officers were, every man according to his charge.

Malayalam: അവർ കുതിരകൾക്കും തുരഗങ്ങൾക്കും വേണ്ടുന്ന യവവും വയ്ക്കോലും താന്താന്റെ മുറപ്രകാരം അവൻ ഇരിക്കുന്ന സ്ഥലങ്ങളിൽ എത്തിച്ചുകൊടുക്കും.

English: And God gave Solomon wisdom and understanding exceeding much, and largeness of heart, even as the sand that is on the sea shore.

Malayalam: ദൈവം ശലോമോന്നു ഏറ്റവും വളരെ ജ്ഞാനവും ബുദ്ധിയും കടൽക്കരയിലെ മണൽപോലെ ഹൃദയവിശാലതയും കൊടുത്തു.

English: And Solomon's wisdom excelled the wisdom of all the children of the east country, and all the wisdom of Egypt.

Malayalam: സകലപൂർവ്വ ദിഗ്വാസികളുടെയും ജ്ഞാനത്തെക്കാളും മിസ്രയീമ്യരുടെ സകലജ്ഞാനത്തെക്കാളും ശലോമോന്റെ ജ്ഞാനം ശ്രേഷ്ഠമായിരുന്നു.

English: For he was wiser than all men; than Ethan the Ezrahite, and Heman, and Chalcol, and Darda, the sons of Mahol: and his fame was in all nations round about.

Malayalam: സകലമനുഷ്യരെക്കാളും എസ്രാഹ്യനായ ഏഥാൻ, മാഹോലിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരായ ഹേമാൻ, കൽക്കോൽ, ദർദ്ദ എന്നിവരെക്കാളും അവൻ ജ്ഞാനിയായിരുന്നു; അവന്റെ കീർത്തി ചുറ്റുമുള്ള സകലജാതികളിലും പരന്നു.

English: And he spoke three thousand proverbs: and his songs were a thousand and five.

Malayalam: അവൻ മൂവായിരം സദൃശവാക്യം പറഞ്ഞു; അവന്റെ ഗീതങ്ങൾ ആയിരത്തഞ്ചു ആയിരുന്നു.

English: And he spoke of trees, from the cedar tree that is in Lebanon even unto the hyssop that springs out of the wall: he spoke also of beasts, and of fowl, and of creeping things, and of fishes.

Malayalam: ലെബാനോനിലെ ദേവദാരുമുതൽ ചുവരിന്മേൽ മുളെക്കുന്ന ഈസോപ്പുവരെയുള്ള വൃക്ഷാദികളെക്കുറിച്ചും മൃഗം, പക്ഷി, ഇഴജാതി, മത്സ്യം എന്നിവയെക്കുറിച്ചും അവൻ പ്രസ്താവിച്ചു.

English: And there came of all people to hear the wisdom of Solomon, from all kings of the earth, which had heard of his wisdom.

Malayalam: ശലോമോന്റെ ജ്ഞാനത്തെപ്പറ്റി കേട്ട സകലഭൂപാലകന്മാരുടെയും അടുക്കൽ നിന്നു നാനാജാതിക്കാരായ പലരും അവന്റെ ജ്ഞാനം കേൾപ്പാൻ വന്നു.
