1 John 4

English: Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

Malayalam: പ്രിയമുള്ളവരേ, കള്ളപ്രവാചകന്മാർ പലരും ലോകത്തിലേക്കു പുറപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കയാൽ ഏതു ആത്മാവിനെയും വിശ്വസിക്കാതെ ആത്മാക്കൾ ദൈവത്തിൽനിന്നുള്ളവയോ എന്നു ശോധന ചെയ്‍വിൻ.

English: Hereby know all of you the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God:

Malayalam: ദൈവാത്മാവിനെ ഇതിനാൽ അറിയാം; യേശുക്രിസ്തു ജഡത്തിൽ വന്നു എന്നു സ്വീകരിക്കുന്ന ആത്മാവൊക്കെയും ദൈവത്തിൽനിന്നുള്ളതു.

English: And every spirit that confesses not that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof all of you have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

Malayalam: യേശുവിനെ സ്വീകരിക്കാത്ത യാതൊരു ആത്മാവും ദൈവത്തിൽനിന്നുള്ളതല്ല. അതു എതിർക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ ആത്മാവു തന്നേ; അതു വരും എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ കേട്ടിട്ടുണ്ടല്ലോ; അതു ഇപ്പോൾ തന്നേ ലോകത്തിൽ ഉണ്ടു.

English: All of you are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

Malayalam: കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങളേ, നിങ്ങൾ ദൈവത്തിൽനിന്നുള്ളവർ ആകുന്നു; അവരെ ജയിച്ചുമിരിക്കുന്നു. നിങ്ങളിലുള്ളവൻ ലോകത്തിൽ ഉള്ളവനെക്കാൾ വലിയവനല്ലോ.

English: They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world hears them.

Malayalam: അവർ ലൌകികന്മാർ ആകയാൽ ലൌകികമായതു സംസാരിക്കുന്നു; ലോകം അവരുടെ വാക്കു കേൾക്കുന്നു.

English: We are of God: he that knows God hears us; he that is not of God hears not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

Malayalam: ഞങ്ങൾ ദൈവത്തിൽനിന്നുള്ളവരാകുന്നു; ദൈവത്തെ അറിയുന്നവൻ ഞങ്ങളുടെ വാക്കു കേൾക്കുന്നു. ദൈവത്തിൽനിന്നല്ലാത്തവൻ ഞങ്ങളുടെ വാക്കു കേൾക്കുന്നില്ല. സത്യത്തിന്റെ ആത്മാവു ഏതു എന്നും വഞ്ചനയുടെ ആത്മാവു ഏതു എന്നും നമുക്കു ഇതിനാൽ അറിയാം.

English: Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loves is born of God, and knows God.

Malayalam: പ്രയമുള്ളവരേ, നാം അന്യോന്യം സ്നേഹിക്ക; സ്നേഹം ദൈവത്തിൽനിന്നു വരുന്നു. സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നവനെല്ലാം ദൈവത്തിൽനിന്നു ജനിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു, ദൈവത്തെ അറികയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.

English: He that loves not knows not God; for God is love.

Malayalam: സ്നേഹിക്കാത്തവൻ ദൈവത്തെ അറിഞ്ഞിട്ടില്ല; ദൈവം സ്നേഹം തന്നേ.

English: In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.

Malayalam: ദൈവം തന്റെ ഏകജാതനായ പുത്രനെ നാം അവനാൽ ജീവിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ലോകത്തിലേക്കു അയച്ചു എന്നുള്ളതിനാൽ ദൈവത്തിന്നു നമ്മോടുള്ള സ്നേഹം പ്രത്യക്ഷമായി.

English: Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

Malayalam: നാം ദൈവത്തെ സ്നേഹിച്ചതല്ല, അവൻ നമ്മെ സ്നേഹിച്ചു തന്റെ പുത്രനെ നമ്മുടെ പാപങ്ങൾക്കു പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം ആകുവാൻ അയച്ചതു തന്നേ സാക്ഷാൽ സ്നേഹം ആകുന്നു.

English: Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.

Malayalam: പ്രിയമുള്ളവരേ, ദൈവം നമ്മെ ഇങ്ങനെ സ്നേഹിച്ചു എങ്കിൽ നാമും അന്യോന്യം സ്നേഹിക്കേണ്ടതാകുന്നു.

English: No man has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwells in us, and his love is perfected in us.

Malayalam: ദൈവത്തെ ആരും ഒരുനാളും കണ്ടിട്ടില്ല. നാം അന്യേന്യം സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നുവെങ്കിൽ ദൈവം നമ്മിൽ വസിക്കുന്നു; അവന്റെ സ്നേഹം നമ്മിൽ തികഞ്ഞുമിരിക്കുന്നു.

English: Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit.

Malayalam: നാം അവനിലും അവൻ നമ്മിലും വസിക്കുന്നു എന്നു അവൻ തന്റെ ആത്മാവിനെ തന്നതിനാൽ നാം അറിയുന്നു.

English: And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world.

Malayalam: പിതാവു പുത്രനെ ലോകരക്ഷിതാവായിട്ടു അയച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു ഞങ്ങൾ കണ്ടു സാക്ഷ്യം പറയുന്നു.

English: Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwells in him, and he in God.

Malayalam: യേശു ദൈവപുത്രൻ എന്നു സ്വീകരിക്കുന്നവനിൽ ദൈവവും അവൻ ദൈവത്തിലും വസിക്കുന്നു.

English: And we have known and believed the love that God has to us. God is love; and he that dwells in love dwells in God, and God in him.

Malayalam: ഇങ്ങനെ ദൈവത്തിന്നു നമ്മോടുള്ള സ്നേഹത്തെ നാം അറിഞ്ഞും വിശ്വസിച്ചുമിരിക്കുന്നു. ദൈവം സ്നേഹം തന്നേ; സ്നേഹത്തിൽ വസിക്കുന്നവൻ ദൈവത്തിൽ വസിക്കുന്നു; ദൈവം അവനിലും വസിക്കുന്നു.

English: Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.

Malayalam: ന്യായവിധിദിവസത്തിൽ നമുക്കു ധൈര്യം ഉണ്ടാവാൻ തക്കവണ്ണം ഇതിനാൽ സ്നേഹം നമ്മോടു തികഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു. അവൻ ഇരിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ ഈ ലോകത്തിൽ നാമും ഇരിക്കുന്നു.

English: There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear: because fear has torment. He that fears is not made perfect in love.

Malayalam: സ്നേഹത്തിൽ ഭയമില്ല; ഭയത്തിന്നു ദണ്ഡനം ഉള്ളതിനാൽ തികഞ്ഞ സ്നേഹം ഭയത്തെ പുറത്താക്കിക്കളയുന്നു; ഭയപ്പെടുന്നവൻ സ്നേഹത്തിൽ തികഞ്ഞവനല്ല.

English: We love him, because he first loved us.

Malayalam: അവൻ ആദ്യം നമ്മെ സ്നേഹിച്ചതുകൊണ്ടു നാം സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നു.

English: If a man say, I love God, and hates his brother, he is a liar: for he that loves not his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?

Malayalam: ഞാൻ ദൈവത്തെ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറകയും തന്റെ സഹോദരനെ പകെക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നവൻ കള്ളനാകുന്നു. താൻ കണ്ടിട്ടുള്ള സഹോദരനെ സ്നേഹിക്കാത്തവന്നു കണ്ടിട്ടില്ലാത്ത ദൈവത്തെ സ്നേഹിപ്പാൻ കഴിയുന്നതല്ല.

English: And this commandment have we from him, That he who loves God love his brother also.

Malayalam: ദൈവത്തെ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നവൻ സഹോദരനെയും സ്നേഹിക്കേണം എന്നീ കല്പന നമുക്കു അവങ്കൽനിന്നു ലഭിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
