1 Chronicles 18

English: Now after this it came to pass, that David stroke the Philistines, and subdued them, and took Gath and her towns out of the hand of the Philistines.

Malayalam: അതിന്റെശേഷം ദാവീദ് ഫെലിസ്ത്യരെ തോല്പിച്ചു അടക്കി, ഗത്തും അതിനോടു ചേർന്ന ഗ്രാമങ്ങളും ഫെലിസ്ത്യരുടെ കയ്യിൽ നിന്നു പിടിച്ചു.

English: And he stroke Moab; and the Moabites became David's servants, and brought gifts.

Malayalam: പിന്നെ അവൻ മോവാബിനെ തോല്പിച്ചു; മോവാബ്യർ ദാവീദിന്റെ ദാസന്മാരായി കാഴ്ചകൊണ്ടുവന്നു.

English: And David stroke Hadarezer king of Zobah unto Hamath, as he went to establish his dominion by the river Euphrates.

Malayalam: സോബാരാജാവായ ഹദദേസെർ ഫ്രാത്ത് നദീതീരത്തിങ്കൽ തന്റെ ആധിപത്യം ഉറപ്പിപ്പാൻ പോയപ്പോൾ ദാവീദ് അവനെയും ഹമാത്തിൽവെച്ചു തോല്പിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു.

English: And David took from him a thousand chariots, and seven thousand horsemen, and twenty thousand footmen: David also cut the hamstrings of all the chariot horses, but reserved of them an hundred chariots.

Malayalam: അവന്റെ വക ആയിരം രഥങ്ങളെയും ഏഴായിരം കുതിരപ്പടയാളികളെയും ഇരുപതിനായിരം കാലാളുകളെയും ദാവീദ് പിടിച്ചു; ദാവീദ് അവയിൽ നൂറു രഥകൂതിരകളെ വെച്ചുകൊണ്ടുശേഷം രഥകൂതിരകളെ ഒക്കെയും കുതിഞരമ്പു വെട്ടിക്കളഞ്ഞു.

English: And when the Syrians of Damascus came to help Hadarezer king of Zobah, David slew of the Syrians two and twenty thousand men.

Malayalam: സോബാരാജാവായ ഹദദേസെരിനെ സഹായിപ്പാൻ ദമ്മേശെക്കിലെ അരാമ്യർ വന്നപ്പോൾ ദാവീദ് അരാമ്യരിൽ ഇരുപതിനായിരം പേരെ നിഗ്രഹിച്ചു.

English: Then David put garrisons in Syriadamascus; and the Syrians became David's servants, and brought gifts. Thus the LORD preserved David anywhere he went.

Malayalam: പിന്നെ ദാവീദ് ദമ്മേശെക്കിനോടു ചേർന്ന അരാമിൽ കാവല്പട്ടാളങ്ങളെ പാർപ്പിച്ചു; അരാമ്യരും ദാവീദിന്നു ദാസന്മാരായി കാഴ്ചകൊണ്ടുവന്നു; ഇങ്ങനെ ദാവീദ് ചെന്നേടത്തൊക്കെയും യഹോവ അവന്നു ജയം നല്കി.

English: And David took the shields of gold that were on the servants of Hadarezer, and brought them to Jerusalem.

Malayalam: ഹദദേസെരിന്റെ ദാസന്മാർക്കുണ്ടായിരുന്ന പൊൻപരിചകളെ ദാവീദ് എടുത്തു യെരൂശലേമിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുവന്നു.

English: Likewise from Tibhath, and from Chun, cities of Hadarezer, brought David very much brass, wherewith Solomon made the brazen sea, and the pillars, and the vessels of brass.

Malayalam: ഹദദേസെരിന്റെ പട്ടണങ്ങളായ തിബ്ഹാത്തിൽനിന്നും കൂനിൽനിന്നും അനവധി താമ്രവും കൊണ്ടുവന്നു; അതുകൊണ്ടു ശലോമോൻ താമ്രക്കടലും സ്തംഭങ്ങളും താമ്രപാത്രങ്ങളും ഉണ്ടാക്കി.

English: Now when Tou king of Hamath heard how David had smitten all the host of Hadarezer king of Zobah;

Malayalam: എന്നാൽ ദാവീദ് സോബാരാജാവായ ഹദദേസെരിന്റെ സൈന്യത്തെയെല്ലാം തോല്പിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു എന്നു ഹമാത്ത്‌രാജാവായ തോവൂ കേട്ടപ്പോൾ

English: He sent Hadoram his son to king David, to enquire of his welfare, and to congratulate him, because he had fought against Hadarezer, and smitten him; (for Hadarezer had war with Tou;) and with him all manner of vessels of gold and silver and brass.

Malayalam: അവൻ ദാവീദ്‍രാജാവിനോടു കുശലും ചോദിപ്പാനും അവൻ ഹദദേസെരിനോടു യുദ്ധം ചെയ്തു അവനെ തോല്പിച്ചതുകൊണ്ടു അവനെ അഭിനന്ദിപ്പാനും തന്റെ മകനായ ഹദോരാമിനെ അയച്ചു; ഹദദേസരും തോവൂവും തമ്മിൽ കൂടക്കൂടെ യുദ്ധം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; അവൻ പൊന്നു, വെള്ളി താമ്രം ഇവകൊണ്ടുള്ള സകലവിധസാധനങ്ങളെയും കൊണ്ടു വന്നു.

English: Them also king David dedicated unto the LORD, with the silver and the gold that he brought from all these nations; from Edom, and from Moab, and from the children of Ammon, and from the Philistines, and from Amalek.

Malayalam: ദാവീദ്‍രാജാവു അവയെ താൻ ഏദോം, മോവാബ്, അമ്മോന്യർ, ഫെലിസ്ത്യർ, അമാലേക്ക് മുതലായ സകലജാതികളുടെ പക്കൽനിന്നും പിടിച്ചെടുത്ത വെള്ളിയോടും പൊന്നിനോടുംകൂടെ യഹോവെക്കു വിശുദ്ധീകരിച്ചു.

English: Moreover Abishai the son of Zeruiah slew of the Edomites in the valley of salt eighteen thousand.

Malayalam: സെരൂയയുടെ മകനായ അബീശായി ഉപ്പുതാഴ്വരയിൽവെച്ചു എദോമ്യരിൽ പതിനെണ്ണായിരംപേരെ സംഹരിച്ചു.

English: And he put garrisons in Edom; and all the Edomites became David's servants. Thus the LORD preserved David anywhere he went.

Malayalam: ദാവീദ് എദോമിൽ കാവല്പട്ടാളങ്ങളെ ആക്കി; എദോമ്യർ എല്ലാവരും അവന്നു ദാസന്മാർ ആയ്തീർന്നു. അങ്ങനെ ദാവീദ് ചെന്നേടത്തൊക്കെയും യഹോവ അവന്നു ജയം നല്കി.

English: So David reigned over all Israel, and executed judgment and justice among all his people.

Malayalam: ഇങ്ങനെ ദാവീദ് എല്ലായിസ്രായേലിന്നും രാജാവായി വാണു; തന്റെ സകലജനത്തിന്നും നീതിയും ന്യായവും നടത്തിവന്നു.

English: And Joab the son of Zeruiah was over the host; and Jehoshaphat the son of Ahilud, recorder.

Malayalam: സെരൂയയുടെ മകനായ യോവാബ് സേനാധിപതി ആയിരുന്നു; അഹീലൂദിന്റെ മകനായ യെഹോശാഫാത്ത് മന്ത്രിയും

English: And Zadok the son of Ahitub, and Abimelech the son of Abiathar, were the priests; and Shavsha was scribe;

Malayalam: അഹീത്തൂബിന്റെ മകനായ സാദോക്കും അബ്യാഥാരിന്റെ മകനായ അഹീമേലെക്കും പുരോഹിതന്മാരും ശവ്ശാ രായസക്കാരനും

English: And Benaiah the son of Jehoiada was over the Cherethites and the Pelethites; and the sons of David were chief about the king.

Malayalam: യെഹോയാദയുടെ മകനായ ബെനായാവു ക്രേത്യർക്കും പ്ളേത്യർക്കും അധിപതിയും ആയിരുന്നു; ദാവീദിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ രാജാവിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ പ്രധാനപരിചാരകന്മാരായിരുന്നു.
