1 Chronicles 15

English: And David made him houses in the city of David, and prepared a place for the ark of God, and pitched for it a tent.

Malayalam: അവൻ തനിക്കു ദാവീദിന്റെ നഗരത്തിൽ അരമനകളെ ഉണ്ടാക്കി; ദൈവത്തിന്റെ പെട്ടകത്തിന്നായി ഒരു സ്ഥലം ഒരുക്കി, അതിന്നു ഒരു കൂടാരവും അടിച്ചു.

English: Then David said, None ought to carry the ark of God but the Levites: for them has the LORD chosen to carry the ark of God, and to minister unto him for ever.

Malayalam: അന്നു ദാവീദ്: ലേവ്യരല്ലാതെ ആരും ദൈവത്തിന്റെ പെട്ടകം ചുമക്കേണ്ടതല്ല; അവരെയല്ലോ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ പെട്ടകം ചുമപ്പാനും തനിക്കു എന്നും ശുശ്രൂഷചെയ്‍വാനും യഹോവ തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നതു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

English: And David gathered all Israel together to Jerusalem, to bring up the ark of the LORD unto his place, which he had prepared for it.

Malayalam: അങ്ങനെ ദാവീദ് യഹോവയുടെ പെട്ടകം താൻ അതിന്നു ഒരുക്കിയ സ്ഥലത്തേക്കു കൊണ്ടുവരുവാൻ എല്ലായിസ്രായേലിനെയും യെരൂശലേമിൽ കൂട്ടിവരുത്തി.

English: And David assembled the children of Aaron, and the Levites:

Malayalam: ദാവീദ് അഹരോന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരെയും ലേവ്യരെയും കൂട്ടിവരുത്തി.

English: Of the sons of Kohath; Uriel the chief, and his brethren an hundred and twenty:

Malayalam: കെഹാത്യരിൽ പ്രധാനിയായ ഊരിയേലിനെയും അവന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാരായ നൂറ്റിരുപതുപേരെയും

English: Of the sons of Merari; Asaiah the chief, and his brethren two hundred and twenty:

Malayalam: മെരാർയ്യരിൽ പ്രധാനിയായ അസായാവെയും അവന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാരായ ഇരുനൂറ്റിരുപതുപേരെയും

English: Of the sons of Gershom; Joel the chief and his brethren an hundred and thirty:

Malayalam: ഗേർശോമ്യരിൽ പ്രധാനിയായ യോവേലിനെയും അവന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാരായ നൂറ്റിമുപ്പതുപേരെയും

English: Of the sons of Elizaphan; Shemaiah the chief, and his brethren two hundred:

Malayalam: എലീസാഫാന്യരിൽ പ്രധാനിയായ ശെമയ്യാവെയും അവന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാരായ ഇരുനൂറുപേരെയും

English: Of the sons of Hebron; Eliel the chief, and his brethren fourscore:

Malayalam: ഹെബ്രോന്യരിൽ പ്രധാനിയായ എലീയേലിനെയും അവന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാരായ എണ്പതു പേരെയും

English: Of the sons of Uzziel; Amminadab the chief, and his brethren an hundred and twelve.

Malayalam: ഉസ്സീയേല്യരിൽ പ്രധാനിയായ അമ്മീനാദാബിനെയും അവന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാരായ നൂറ്റിപ്പന്ത്രണ്ടുപേരെയും തന്നെ.

English: And David called for Zadok and Abiathar the priests, and for the Levites, for Uriel, Asaiah, and Joel, Shemaiah, and Eliel, and Amminadab,

Malayalam: ദാവീദ് പുരോഹിതന്മാരായ സാദോക്കിനെയും അബ്യാഥാരിനെയും ഊരീയേൽ, അസായാവു, യോവേൽ, ശെമയ്യാവു, എലീയേൽ, അമ്മീനാദാബ് എന്നീ ലേവ്യരെയും വിളിപ്പിച്ചു അവരോടു പറഞ്ഞതു:

English: And said unto them, All of you are the chief of the fathers of the Levites: sanctify yourselves, both all of you and your brethren, that all of you may bring up the ark of the LORD God of Israel unto the place that I have prepared for it.

Malayalam: നിങ്ങൾ ലേവ്യരുടെ പിതൃഭവനങ്ങളിൽ തലവന്മാരല്ലോ; നിങ്ങളും നിങ്ങളുടെ സഹോദരന്മാരും യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ പെട്ടകം ഞാൻ അതിന്നു ഒരുക്കിയിരിക്കുന്ന സ്ഥലത്തു കൊണ്ടുവരുവാൻ നിങ്ങളെത്തന്നേ ശുദ്ധീകരിച്ചുകൊൾവിൻ.

English: For because all of you did it not at the first, the LORD our God made a breach upon us, for that we sought him not after the due order.

Malayalam: ആദിയിൽ നിങ്ങൾ തന്നേ അതു ചെയ്യായ്കകൊണ്ടു നമ്മുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ നമുക്കു ഛേദം ഉണ്ടാക്കി; നാം അവനെ നിയമപ്രകാരമല്ലല്ലോ അന്വേഷിച്ചതു.

English: So the priests and the Levites sanctified themselves to bring up the ark of the LORD God of Israel.

Malayalam: അങ്ങനെ പുരോഹിതന്മാരും ലേവ്യരും യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ പെട്ടകം കൊണ്ടുവരുവാൻ തങ്ങളെ തന്നേ ശുദ്ധീകരിച്ചു.

English: And the children of the Levites bare the ark of God upon their shoulders with the staves thereon, as Moses commanded according to the word of the LORD.

Malayalam: ലേവ്യരുടെ പുത്രന്മാർ യഹോവയുടെ വചനപ്രകാരം മോശെ കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ പെട്ടകത്തെ അതിന്റെ തണ്ടുകൾ തങ്ങളുടെ ചുമലിൽ കൊണ്ടു ചുമന്നു.

English: And David spoke to the chief of the Levites to appoint their brethren to be the singers with instruments of music, psalteries and harps and cymbals, sounding, by lifting up the voice with joy.

Malayalam: പിന്നെ ദാവീദ് ലേവ്യരിലെ പ്രധാനന്മാരോടു വീണ, കിന്നരം, കൈത്താളം എന്നീ വാദ്യങ്ങളാൽ സന്തോഷനാദം ഉച്ചത്തിൽ ധ്വനിപ്പിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു സംഗീതക്കാരായ തങ്ങളുടെ സഹോദരന്മാരെ നിറുത്തുവാൻ കല്പിച്ചു.

English: So the Levites appointed Heman the son of Joel; and of his brethren, Asaph the son of Berechiah; and of the sons of Merari their brethren, Ethan the son of Kushaiah;

Malayalam: അങ്ങനെ ലേവ്യർ യോവേലിന്റെ മകനായ ഹേമാനെയും അവന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാരിൽ ബേരെഖ്യാവിന്റെ മകനായ ആസാഫിനെയും അവരുടെ സഹോദരന്മാരായ മെരാർയ്യരിൽ കൂശായാവിന്റെ മകനായ ഏഥാനെയും

English: And with them their brethren of the second degree, Zechariah, Ben, and Jaaziel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Unni, Eliab, and Benaiah, and Maaseiah, and Mattithiah, and Elipheleh, and Mikneiah, and Obededom, and Jeiel, the porters.

Malayalam: അവരോടുകൂടെ രണ്ടാം തരത്തിലെ തങ്ങളുടെ സഹോദരന്മാരായ സെഖർയ്യാവു, ബേൻ, യാസീയേൽ, ശെമീരാമോത്ത്, യെഹീയേൽ, ഉന്നി, എലീയാബ്, ബെനായാവു, മയസേയാവു, മത്ഥിഥ്യാവു, എലീഫെലേഹൂ, മിക്നേയാവു, ഓബേദ്-എദോം, യെയീയേൽ എന്നിവരെ വാതിൽ കാവൽക്കാരായും നിയമിച്ചു.

English: So the singers, Heman, Asaph, and Ethan, were appointed to sound with cymbals of brass;

Malayalam: സംഗീതക്കാരായ ഹേമാനും ആസാഫും ഏഥാനും താമ്രംകൊണ്ടുള്ള കൈത്താളങ്ങളെയും

English: And Zechariah, and Aziel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Unni, and Eliab, and Maaseiah, and Benaiah, with psalteries on Alamoth;

Malayalam: സെഖർയ്യാവു, അസീയേൽ, ശെമീരാമോത്ത്, യെഹീയേൽ, ഉന്നി, എലീയാബ്, മയസേയാവു, ബെനായാവു എന്നിവർ അലാമോത്ത് രാഗത്തിൽ വീണകളെയും ധ്വനിപ്പിപ്പാനും

English: And Mattithiah, and Elipheleh, and Mikneiah, and Obededom, and Jeiel, and Azaziah, with harps on the Sheminith to excel.

Malayalam: മത്ഥിഥ്യവു, എലീഫേലേഹൂ, മിക്നേയാവു, ഓബേദ്-എദോം, യെയീയേൽ, അസസ്യാവു എന്നിവർ ശെമീനീത്ത് രാഗത്തിൽ കിന്നരം വായിപ്പാനും നിയമിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നു.

English: And Chenaniah, chief of the Levites, was for song: he instructed about the song, because he was skilful.

Malayalam: വാഹകന്മാരായ ലേവ്യരിൽ പ്രധാനിയായ കെനന്യാവു പെട്ടകം വഹിക്കുന്നതിന്നു മേൽവിചാരകനായിരുന്നു; അവൻ അതിൽ സമർത്ഥനായിരുന്നു.

English: And Berechiah and Elkanah were doorkeepers for the ark.

Malayalam: ബേരെഖ്യാവും എൽക്കാനയും പെട്ടകത്തിന്നു വാതിൽകാവൽക്കാർ ആയിരുന്നു.

English: And Shebaniah, and Jehoshaphat, and Nethaneel, and Amasai, and Zechariah, and Benaiah, and Eliezer, the priests, did blow with the trumpets before the ark of God: and Obededom and Jehiah were doorkeepers for the ark.

Malayalam: ശെബന്യാവു, യോശാഫാത്ത്, നെഥനയേൽ, അമാസായി, സെഖർയ്യാവു, ബെനായാവു, എലെയാസാർ എന്നീ പുരോഹിതന്മാർ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ പെട്ടകത്തിന്മുമ്പിൽ കാഹളം ഊതി; ഓബേദ്-എദോമും യെഹീയാവും പെട്ടകത്തിന്നു വാതിൽകാവൽക്കാർ ആയിരുന്നു.

English: So David, and the elders of Israel, and the captains over thousands, went to bring up the ark of the covenant of the LORD out of the house of Obededom with joy.

Malayalam: ഇങ്ങനെ ദാവീദും യിസ്രായേൽമൂപ്പന്മാരും സഹസ്രാധിപന്മാരും യഹോവയുടെ നിയമപെട്ടകം ഓബേദ്-എദോമിന്റെ വീട്ടിൽനിന്നു സന്തോഷത്തോടെ കൊണ്ടുവരുവാൻ പോയി.

English: And it came to pass, when God helped the Levites that bare the ark of the covenant of the LORD, that they offered seven bullocks and seven rams.

Malayalam: യഹോവയുടെ നിയമപെട്ടകത്തിന്റെ വാഹകന്മാരായ ലേവ്യർക്കു ദൈവം സഹായിച്ചതുകൊണ്ടു അവർ ഏഴു കാളയെയും ഏഴു ആട്ടുകൊറ്റനെയും യാഗംകഴിച്ചു.

English: And David was clothed with a robe of fine linen, and all the Levites that bare the ark, and the singers, and Chenaniah the master of the song with the singers: David also had upon him an ephod of linen.

Malayalam: ദാവീദ് പെട്ടകവാഹകന്മാരായ ലേവ്യർ ഒക്കെയും സംഗീതക്കാരും സംഗീതക്കാരോടുകൂടെ വാഹകപ്രമാണിയായ കെനന്യാവും ശണപടം കൊണ്ടുള്ള അങ്കി ധരിച്ചു; ദാവീദ് ശണം കൊണ്ടുള്ള എഫോദ് ധരിച്ചു.

English: Thus all Israel brought up the ark of the covenant of the LORD with shouting, and with sound of the cornet, and with trumpets, and with cymbals, making a noise with psalteries and harps.

Malayalam: അങ്ങനെ യിസ്രായേലൊക്കയും ആർപ്പോടും കാഹളനാദത്തോടും തൂർയ്യങ്ങളുടെയും കൈത്താളങ്ങളുടെയും ധ്വനിയോടുംകൂടി കിന്നരവും വീണയും വായിച്ചുകൊണ്ടു യഹോവയുടെ നിയമപെട്ടകം കൊണ്ടുവന്നു.

English: And it came to pass, as the ark of the covenant of the LORD came to the city of David, that Michal, the daughter of Saul looking out at a window saw king David dancing and playing: and she despised him in her heart.

Malayalam: എന്നാൽ യഹോവയുടെ നിയമപെട്ടകം ദാവീദിന്റെ നഗരത്തിൽ എത്തിയപ്പോൾ ശൌലിന്റെ മകളായ മീഖൾ കിളിവാതിലിൽകൂടി നോക്കി, ദാവീദ്‌രാജാവു നൃത്തം ചെയ്യുന്നതും പാടുന്നതും കണ്ടു ഹൃദയത്തിൽ അവനെ നിന്ദിച്ചു
