1 Chronicles 13

English: And David consulted with the captains of thousands and hundreds, and with every leader.

Malayalam: ദാവീദ്, സഹസ്രാധിപന്മാരോടും ശതാധിപന്മാരോടും സകലനായകന്മാരോടും ആലോചിച്ചശേഷം

English: And David said unto all the congregation of Israel, If it seem good unto you, and that it be of the LORD our God, let us send abroad unto our brethren every where, that are left in all the land of Israel, and with them also to the priests and Levites which are in their cities and suburbs, that they may gather themselves unto us:

Malayalam: യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ സർവ്വസഭയോടും പറഞ്ഞതു: നിങ്ങൾക്കു സമ്മതവും നമ്മുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവെക്കു ഹിതവും ആകുന്നു എങ്കിൽ നാം യിസ്രായേൽദേശത്തെല്ലാടവുമുള്ള നമ്മുടെ ശേഷം സഹോദരന്മാരും അവരോടുകൂടെ പുൽപുറങ്ങളുള്ള പട്ടണങ്ങളിൽ പാർക്കുന്ന പുരോഹിതന്മാരും ലേവ്യരും നമ്മുടെ അടുക്കൽ വന്നുകൂടേണ്ടതിന്നു എല്ലാടവും ആളയക്കുക.

English: And let us bring again the ark of our God to us: for we enquired not at it in the days of Saul.

Malayalam: നമ്മുടെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ പെട്ടകം വീണ്ടും നമ്മുടെ അടുക്കൽ കൊണ്ടുവരിക; ശൌലിന്റെ കാലത്തു നാം അതിനെ ഗണ്യമാക്കിയില്ലല്ലോ.

English: And all the congregation said that they would do so: for the thing was right in the eyes of all the people.

Malayalam: ഈ കാര്യം സകലജനത്തിന്നും ബോധിച്ചതുകൊണ്ടു അങ്ങനെ തന്നേ ചെയ്യേണമെന്നു സർവ്വസഭയും പറഞ്ഞു.

English: So David gathered all Israel together, from Shihor of Egypt even unto the entering of Hemath, to bring the ark of God from Kirjathjearim.

Malayalam: ഇങ്ങനെ ദാവീദ് ദൈവത്തിന്റെ പെട്ടകം കിർയ്യത്ത്-യെയാരീമിൽനിന്നു കൊണ്ടുവരേണ്ടതിന്നു മിസ്രയീമിലെ ശീഹോർ തുടങ്ങി ഹമാത്ത് പ്രദേശംവരെയുള്ള എല്ലായിസ്രായേലിനെയും കൂട്ടി വരുത്തി.

English: And David went up, and all Israel, to Baalah, that is, to Kirjathjearim, which belonged to Judah, to bring up thence the ark of God the LORD, that dwells between the cherubims, whose name is called on it.

Malayalam: കെരൂബുകളുടെ മദ്ധ്യേ അധിവസിക്കുന്ന യഹോവയായ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ തിരുനാമം വിളിക്കപ്പെടുന്ന പെട്ടകം കൊണ്ടു വരേണ്ടതിന്നു ദാവീദും യിസ്രായേലൊക്കെയും യെഹൂദയോടു ചേർന്നു കിർയ്യത്ത്-യെയാരീമെന്ന ബയലയിൽ ചെന്നു.

English: And they carried the ark of God in a new cart out of the house of Abinadab: and Uzza and Ahio drove the cart.

Malayalam: അവർ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ പെട്ടകം അബീനാദാബിന്റെ വീട്ടിൽനിന്നെടുത്തു ഒരു പുതിയ വണ്ടിയിൽ കയറ്റി; ഉസ്സയും അഹ്യോവും വണ്ടിതെളിച്ചു.

English: And David and all Israel played before God with all their might, and with singing, and with harps, and with psalteries, and with timbrels, and with cymbals, and with trumpets.

Malayalam: ദാവീദും എല്ലായിസ്രായേലും ദൈവത്തിന്റെ സന്നിധിയിൽ പൂർണ്ണശക്തിയോടെ പാട്ടുപാടിയും കിന്നരം, വീണ, തപ്പു, കൈത്താളം, കാഹളം എന്നീ വാദ്യങ്ങൾ ഘോഷിച്ചുംകൊണ്ടു നൃത്തംചെയ്തു.

English: And when they came unto the threshing floor of Chidon, Uzza put forth his hand to hold the ark; for the oxen stumbled.

Malayalam: അവർ കീദോൻ കളത്തിന്നു സമീപം എത്തിയപ്പോൾ കാള വിരളുകകൊണ്ടു ഉസ്സാ പെട്ടകം പിടിപ്പാൻ കൈ നീട്ടി.

English: And the anger of the LORD was kindled against Uzza, and he stroke him, because he put his hand to the ark: and there he died before God.

Malayalam: അപ്പോൾ യഹോവയുടെ കോപം ഉസ്സയുടെ നേരെ ജ്വലിച്ചു; അവൻ തന്റെ കൈ പെട്ടകത്തിങ്കലേക്കു നീട്ടിയതുകൊണ്ടു അവനെ ബാധിച്ചു, അവൻ അവിടെ ദൈവസന്നിധിയിൽ മരിച്ചുപോയി.

English: And David was displeased, because the LORD had made a breach upon Uzza: wherefore that place is called Perezuzza to this day.

Malayalam: യഹോവ ഉസ്സയെ ഛേദിച്ച ഛേദംനിമിത്തം ദാവീദിന്നു വ്യസനമായി: അവൻ ആ സ്ഥലത്തിന്നു പേരെസ്-ഉസ്സാ എന്നു പേർ വിളിച്ചു.

English: And David was afraid of God that day, saying, How shall I bring the ark of God home to me?

Malayalam: ഇതു ഇന്നുവരെയും പറഞ്ഞുവരുന്നു. അന്നു ദാവീദ് ദൈവത്തെ ഭയപ്പെട്ടുപോയി: ഞാൻ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ പെട്ടകം എങ്ങനെ എന്റെ അടുക്കൽ കൊണ്ടുവരേണ്ടു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

English: So David brought not the ark home to himself to the city of David, but carried it aside into the house of Obededom the Gittite.

Malayalam: അങ്ങനെ ദാവീദ് പെട്ടകം തന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ദാവീദിന്റെ നഗരത്തിൽ കൊണ്ടുവരാതെ ഗിത്യനായ ഓബേദ്-എദോമിന്റെ വീട്ടിലേക്കു മാറ്റി കൊണ്ടുപോയി.

English: And the ark of God remained with the family of Obededom in his house three months. And the LORD blessed the house of Obededom, and all that he had.

Malayalam: ദൈവത്തിന്റെ പെട്ടകം ഓബേദ്-എദോമിന്റെ കുടുംബത്തോടുകൂടെ മൂന്നുമാസം അവന്റെ വീട്ടിൽ ഇരുന്നു; യഹോവ ഓബേദ്-എദോമിന്റെ കുടുംബത്തെയും അവന്നുള്ള സകലത്തെയും അനുഗ്രഹിച്ചു.
