Love

ആകയാൽ വിശ്വാസം, പ്രത്യാശ, സ്നേഹം ഈ മൂന്നും നിലനില്ക്കുന്നു; ഇവയിൽ വലിയതോ സ്നേഹം തന്നേ.

And now abides faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.

തന്റെ ഏകജാതനായ പുത്രനിൽ വിശ്വസിക്കുന്ന ഏവനും നശിച്ചുപോകാതെ നിത്യജീവൻ പ്രാപിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ദൈവം അവനെ നല്കുവാൻ തക്കവണ്ണം ലോകത്തെ സ്നേഹിച്ചു.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

നിങ്ങൾ തമ്മിൽ തമ്മിൽ സ്നേഹിക്കേണം എന്നു പുതിയോരു കല്പന ഞാൻ നിങ്ങൾക്കു തരുന്നു; ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ സ്നേഹിച്ചതുപോലെ നിങ്ങളും തമ്മിൽ തമ്മിൽ സ്നേഹിക്കേണം എന്നു തന്നേ.

A new commandment I give unto you, That all of you love one another; as I have loved you, that all of you also love one another.

ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ സ്നേഹിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ നിങ്ങളും തമ്മിൽ തമ്മിൽ സ്നേഹിക്കേണം എന്നാകുന്നു എന്റെ കല്പന.

This is my commandment, That all of you love one another, as I have loved you.

സ്നേഹിക്കാത്തവൻ ദൈവത്തെ അറിഞ്ഞിട്ടില്ല; ദൈവം സ്നേഹം തന്നേ.

He that loves not knows not God; for God is love.

അവൻ ആദ്യം നമ്മെ സ്നേഹിച്ചതുകൊണ്ടു നാം സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നു.

We love him, because he first loved us.

ക്രിസ്തുവോ നാം പാപികൾ ആയിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ തന്നേ നമുക്കുവേണ്ടി മരിക്കയാൽ ദൈവം തനിക്കു നമ്മോടുള്ള സ്നേഹത്തെ പ്രദർശിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.

But God commends his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

എല്ലാറ്റിന്നും മീതെ സമ്പൂർണ്ണതയുടെ ബന്ധമായ സ്നേഹം ധരിപ്പിൻ.

And above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection.

സകലത്തിന്നും മുമ്പെ തമ്മിൽ ഉറ്റ സ്നേഹം ഉള്ളവരായിരിപ്പിൻ. സ്നേഹം പാപങ്ങളുടെ ബഹുത്വത്തെ മറെക്കുന്നു.

And above all things have fervent love among yourselves: for love shall cover the multitude of sins.

നിങ്ങൾ ചെയ്യുന്നതെല്ലാം സ്നേഹത്തിൽ ചെയ്‍വിൻ.
